# What is the best remote support software for customer service teams?

I’m helping a couple of customer support teams pick a remote support platform to handle live troubleshooting with end-users. Their priorities: quick connection setup, intuitive interface for reps, strong security, and integrations with ticketing/CRM systems. I went through G2 data and user reviews — here’s what stands out for customer service use cases:

NinjaOne: Top-rated overall with perfect satisfaction. Primarily known as an RMM tool, but its remote support features (unattended access, remote monitoring) are a hit with IT-driven customer support desks.

TeamViewer: The classic remote support tool; widely recognized by end-users, which cuts down on friction during live sessions. Also has strong cross-platform support.

Datto RMM: More of an MSP/RMM platform but great if you’re blending customer support with ongoing device management.

JumpCloud: Identity and device management with remote support baked in. Ideal if your customer support team also manages logins and security policies.

Zoho Assist: Very customer support–friendly; lightweight agentless setup, screen sharing, and integrations with Zoho Desk or other CRMs.

Atera: Another all-in-one RMM/remote support platform used by many MSP-style customer support teams.

AirDroid Business: Particularly good for customer support on Android-based devices (kiosks, POS, mobile); strong unattended access.

Action1: Cloud-native and simple to deploy, best for small customer service teams that need quick, secure access.

If you’re strictly looking for frontline customer support tools (rather than full-blown RMM), also check out LogMeIn Rescue, ConnectWise Control, and Splashtop, they’re often mentioned as go-tos for customer-facing support sessions.

Has anyone here run customer service operations at scale on these tools? I’d love to know which ones are easiest for non-technical reps to adopt.

For those already using these tools with your support teams, how well do they integrate with your ticketing or CRM systems? That seems to be a make-or-break feature for a lot of the teams I’m helping.
