"Great all in one solution!"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

An all in one product. You get so many options and tools. Collaboration with other members of the team is very convenient. I love the customization options and the many different templates. Mostly I use Gantt for a project-based overview and the timeline of all projects to see and plan my workload. The app with the notifications is often very useful. What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The structure is a bit rigid. Initially, I had to redo several project plans, as I chose the wrong setup with spaces, folders, lists, etc. You have to understand the logic behind the structure. Once you get into it, it gets easier. Nevertheless, you are still limited to the given structural objects (Spaces, folders, lists, tasks, subtasks, checklist). Depending on the structure, the app can sometimes be difficult to navigate. It is not always clear from which folder or space (projects) the tasks come. EG: When I get a notification of a scheduled task, I only get the task and the corresponding list where the task is located. I don't get the folder or the space. Also, I can't go directly to the folder or the space. So if the list or the task doesn't have any information about the project (folder) in their description, I just don't know, on which project I'm working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Flexibility and Customization for Streamlined Workflows"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

One of its biggest strengths is its flexibility—everything from task views to dashboards can be customized to match our working style. This level of adaptability has helped us streamline coordination, reduce miscommunication, and ensure that important work doesn’t fall through the cracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The interface can feel overwhelming for new users, with so many features competing for attention. The learning curve is noticeable, and onboarding requires time and guidance. Additionally, performance issues occasionally arise—certain views can be slow to load, and syncing across devices isn’t always seamless. More intuitive navigation and a lighter UI would make the experience smoother and more accessible for everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Ultimate All-in-One AI Powered Workspace"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

Moved to ClickUp after using Trello, and the difference is HUGE. Trello is ok but it breaks as soon as you start to scale and your team size grows.

The AI inside tasks are quite useful helps with summaries, reassigning, finding tasks, and saving time in general for small things. Automations are powerful aswell can help in reducing a lot of repetitive tasks for assigning priorities, etc., and you can replace that with AI agents, which is basically automations on Steroids lol

I like having both list and board views (unlike asana with only list and Trello for only board).

The chat channels feel Slack-like, which is great, as I don't have to pay for another software + the ability to create documents within a task is so useful, no need to go to drive, create a Google Doc, and then link that inside a task. Helps to keep you sane.

Also, the ability to create a clip (Loom) is super cool, my most used feature till now.

It's a bit overwhelming at first, but I feel ClickUp University explains everything quite easily, and you can be up and running in a few hours.

ClickUp kind of does everything, and somehow, everything just works we now use it daily for everything agency-related, and the customer support is also good! 10/10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Particular issue, but the fact that I can't delete a channel if I created it from within a location-bound place like a space/folder or list, and the fact that even though I can make a clip, I can't turn on the camera! If I were able to do that, I would just cancel the loom subscribtion once and for all lol Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Transition and User-Friendly for Non-Tech Users"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I find ClickUp easy to use, which is really important for our EdTech company. The user interface is good, making it accessible for our main users, the teachers, who might not have much technical knowledge. Even without training, they can easily see and understand the tasks assigned to them. The initial setup was straightforward and I didn't need to hire any technical person for it. ClickUp effectively helps with task assignment, time management, dashboards, meeting notes, and docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The price is a little bit high. We are a non-profit organization, and we can't afford to pay high remuneration. So, it would be good if they provide some basic things for NPOs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Project Management and Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I use ClickUp in my company to manage sprints, task and overall project organization. whenever a new feature is required, i create SOP or requirement documents in ClickUp and then break the work into task for each team such as frontend, backend, QA, UI/UX. and also after production, if any issue arises, we also create tickets in ClickUp and assign them to the respective team member to track and resolve them efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I like most of the feature that ClickUp provides, but one drawback is that it can feel complex for new users. Sometimes it's difficult to understand where to find things and what is happening in different sections of the platform. Also when there are many task or large projects the application can feel slow to load at times. other than these point everything works well for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Happy to use Clickup in my internship and college project and 2 years at my previous company"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I'm updating my review because ClickUp continues to impress, especially with its recent major overhaul, ClickUp 4.0. My favorite part—the simple-yet-powerful Slash Command (/) in the description and comment boxes—is even better, now serving as an entry point for advanced features like the ClickUp AI (/ai) and the global AI Command Bar. This makes quick formatting (like the numbering I use for attachments) and complex actions equally easy to implement for both work and personal projects.

While the Free Forever plan is generous with unlimited members, the limitations have become more noticeable. I still appreciate that I can create multiple Workspaces (each with its 5 free Spaces) to segment my large projects. However, the introduction of caps on key features like Automations, Custom Fields, and the strict 100MB storage limit means I have to be more mindful of how I use the platform before considering an upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

My one dislike is that the immense number of features can sometimes lead to feature overload, making it less easy to jump in and implement without a bit of planning Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Ticket Management and Real-Time Updates"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

In clickup, creating tickets for the tech team is very easy & quick, help me keep track of all the tickets at a convenient place & I also like how I can see updates right away. It’s not perfect, sometimes things feel a bit cluttered They Can Work on UI a bit, but overall it helps me stay organized and not lose track of any customer issue. It just makes the whole Ticket & resolution process smoother for me & my entire team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The Window that shows the comment of the Team members working on the Tickets is a little small or inconveniently placed, especially when there are long threads or multiple people replying one after another. I end up scrolling way too much just to figure out what the latest update actually is. This is not any big issue its just make me a bit slower when i am in a hurry (which happened more than you think) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great All-in-One Project Management Tool"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I really appreciate the breadth of features that ClickUp offers, which helps me manage short-term tasks throughout the week and more complex, months long projects. It makes collaboration and communication with other team members seamless, which takes the clutter and chaos out of projects. I appreciate being able to keep track of what tasks I'm responsible for and their urgency easily, making my daily workflow simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

It takes some time to set up your workspaces and organize them since you are starting from a blank canvas and there are a lot of features to use. I do think the design of ClickUp could be simplified, since sometimes it can feel cluttered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Whatever You Do, ClickUp Helps You Do It Better"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love ClickUp’s flexibility — any team, in any department (marketing, HR, finance, legal, etc.), can adapt ClickUp to fit their unique workflow. Features like Custom Fields are essential for tailoring the platform to specific needs and making the work experience smooth and powerful.

ClickUp brings everything and everyone into one place. From tasks and docs to goals and dashboards, it helps centralize collaboration. With the addition of built-in chat, it’s even easier for team members to stay connected and aligned in real time.

ClickUp keeps evolving and improving every day, constantly releasing new features and enhancements. Automations are especially valuable — they help teams save time, reduce manual work, and focus on what really matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The only thing I’d like to see improved is ClickUp Docs. I wish the experience was more like Google Docs — smoother, more intuitive, and with richer formatting options. If ClickUp continues to improve this area, it would make the platform even more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automation and AI Tools Make ClickUp a Game-Changer"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

Before switching to ClickUp, we used Redbooth for project management, and comparing the two, I can see a significant improvement. I really appreciate ClickUp's automation features and AI tools. The dashboard is engaging, and I enjoy its visual design. I find the separate sections for assigned tasks, completed work, and items under client review to be among its best features. Being able to add media, create documents, and work on whitepapers are also some of the aspects I enjoy most about ClickUp. Overall, it has definitely helped me become more efficient in my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

When I need to check something from the beginning of a project, I have to scroll all the way to the top of the page, as there is no shortcut available. In the message window, composing a new message is inconvenient because the small window takes up space and prevents me from viewing other important details. Additionally, the abundance of filters can be confusing at times. Sometimes, tasks seem to disappear, which adds to the confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Solution That Keeps Our Team Perfectly Organized"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love that everything we need to stay organised and on track is in one place. No more switching between Google Drive, emails, whatsapps, a "to do list", and a bunch of other annoying apps that don't work together properly - literally everything can happen in this one space. I open it every morning and it's my guide, my workspace, my messageboard, literally everything I need. It is also incredibly intuitive and easy to use from the start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I honestly have no complaints, especially using the free plan. It has more than satisfied all of our team needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
