"Best knowledge center tool"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I like how Confluence shows the last update or change made with one article or policy implemented. Confluence helps our organization be on the same page on a day-to-day basis. I like how it allows us to bookmark the most helpful and most used knowledge base we use in our everyday lives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

I don't like that you cannot search for the same knowledge base you need using just one keyword. If you enter one or two words, multiple results are shown. Even the article you will not use shows if it detects the keyword you added. It can be a bit slow and unresponsive at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Documentation with a Clean, Intuitive Interface"
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I like about Confluence is its clean and user-friendly UI with smooth performance. Creating blogs or documentation is very easy and intuitive. I can add images, format content, change font sizes, and structure documents neatly without any complexity. the editor feels flexible and powerful, which makes document look well organized and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

What I dislike about Confluence is that sometimes it feels slow. When I open a document and try to edit it, it can take time to load properly. Due to this lag, some changes may not get saved if the page hasn't fully loaded, and I have to redo my work. This can be frustrating at times. Other than this performance issue, everything else about Confluence is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Team Collaboration and Seamless Note-Taking"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is a software that we use mainly for deciding the policies of the company. This software also enables us to work together as a team and take important notes from the meeting that is being conducted for each and every employee of the company. It works like an digital notebook where everyone can give their inputs and write important notes and learning from the group discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Confluence is a very smart tool and at the same time it is complex for new users. It has range of business management tools and operation handling systems. One of the main challenge while working with this software was that whenever I tried searching for old files and folders it always got messy and took a lot of time and this is something on which they need to work on Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Our Team's Memory Bank That Doesn't Forget Anything"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence works best as a long-term knowledge home rather than just a place to write documents. We use it to store decisions, internal processes, technical notes, and meetings outcomes that need to stay accessible months later. The page hierarchy and linking make it easy to understand Context instead of reading isolated documents. I also appreciate how naturally it fits into day to day collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

For new users page organization can feel confusing at first especially when space grow large. Without clear ownership or structure content can become cluttered. Formatting complex layout sometimes take more clicks than expected compared to simpler editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Formatting can sometimes feel restrictive compared to more traditional word processors. Loading times can increase with large pages containing embedded media or diagrams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Confluence fits best when teams need shared context, not just stored files"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence has worked well for us as a place to document decisions, processes, and technical notes that evolve over time. We use it for sprint retrospectives, onboarding guides, and internal how to pages where comments and page history actually matter. The page versioning and inline comments make it easier to understand why changes were made, not just what changed. I also find the permission controls helpful when certain spaces need restricted access without creating separate tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

As content grows, pages can become cluttered if teams don't follow a clear structure. Search results sometimes surface outdated pages unless naming conventions are maintained carefully. Formatting complex layouts can also feel slower compared to modern editors, especially when working with large tables or embedded content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Knowledge Hub with Seamless Integration and Accessibility"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is my single source of truth for specs, runbooks, onboarding, and handoffs across Sidekick and BAM, and it’s where I centralize documentation so teams always know where to look. I like that THD-wide SSO makes spaces like the CEX landing page instantly accessible without extra friction. Its tight Jira integration, with JQL embeds and live backlogs on pages, lets me surface real-time status where people actually work. It also functions as a cross-team knowledge hub for OMS/Machine Teaching and CEX, where I contribute and maintain shared pages like Compatibility Rules to keep stakeholders aligned. And I rely on structured templates for documentation, release notes, and change logs, which keeps everything consistent and discoverable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Briefly, Confluence tends to sprawl, which makes search noisy and navigation confusing; permissions and space governance are inconsistent; the editor is brittle with tables, images, and macros; Jira embeds can be flaky; attachments and versions get scattered; moving or renaming pages breaks links; and exports to PDF often lose formatting. "The Go-To Platform for Documenting Team Processes and Decisions."
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I appreciate most about Confluence is how incredibly easy it is to use and how effectively it serves as a central hub for our team's knowledge. The platform is so intuitive that anyone can quickly start creating, editing, and sharing documents without needing any special training. I also value the wide range of macros and templates available, which make it straightforward to build well-structured pages for project plans, meeting notes, and technical documentation.

The simple implementation process was a major benefit for us; we were able to get our team and initial projects up and running within just a few days. Another significant advantage is how easily Confluence integrates with other Atlassian products, such as Jira.

This integration creates a seamless workflow, ensuring our project work always stays connected to the right context and requirements.

As a result, we've solved the issue of fragmented information, saving countless hours and improving our team's alignment. Additionally, the platform's speed and frequency of use have made our daily work even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

My main frustration with Confluence stems from its occasional performance issues. When working with very large spaces containing thousands of pages, the search function can become sluggish, and page loading times are noticeably longer. Although customer support is generally reliable, resolving more specific or niche issues can be time-consuming, often requiring a deep dive into their extensive knowledge base.

Another significant drawback is that, despite Confluence's user-friendly interface, maintaining organization can be challenging.

Without a dedicated Space Administrator to oversee content, spaces can quickly become cluttered with outdated, irrelevant, or duplicate pages, which in turn makes the search function less effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Efficient, and Essential for Document Management"
What do you like best about Confluence?

There are several aspects of Confluence that I really appreciate. First, I find it very intuitive to use, which makes working with it enjoyable. I especially like how easy it is to organize and manage large documents using the various tools available within Confluence. This platform allows me to create documents much more quickly. Another feature I value is that Confluence is cloud-based, so I don’t have to worry about constantly saving my work—everything is saved automatically. Additionally, there are numerous widgets, tools, and helpful tips within Confluence that make it simple to share documents with a large number of people. Preparing documents is incredibly straightforward, and I genuinely enjoy using Confluence. Personally, I use it daily for several hours, and it has become an essential part of my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

To be honest, there isn't much to comment on. However, one aspect I dislike is how difficult it is to insert a link. I have to manually add anchor links to connect different pieces of content, which can be quite tedious. So, the need to use anchor links manually is definitely something I find frustrating. "A Reliable Platform for Team Collaboration and Documentation"
What do you like best about Confluence?

The best thing about Confluence is its simple, wiki-style structure that keeps everything searchable and well-organized. It’s super helpful for documentation, knowledge sharing, and cross-team visibility. Overall, it boosts productivity by keeping all project information in one central hub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

I dislike that Confluence can feel slow and unresponsive, especially when working on large or heavily formatted pages. The editor sometimes behaves inconsistently, which makes simple formatting tasks harder than they should be. Organizing content across multiple spaces can get confusing, and it’s easy for pages to get buried. Search results are not always accurate, so finding older documents takes extra time. Collaboration features are good, but real-time editing still isn’t as smooth as expected. Overall, it works well, but the user experience could definitely be more polished. "Effortless Collaboration and Organization in One Place"
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I like best about Confluence is how it brings all our project knowledge into one organized and collaborative space.

In my day-to-day work, I use Confluence to create and update documentation for QA processes, automation workflows, release notes, and sprint planning. The real-time collaboration feature makes it easy for teams to comment, review, and refine content without long email chains.

I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with Jira. I can link user stories, test cases, and RCA pages directly to Jira issues, which helps keep both documentation and development work aligned. The templates—especially for meeting notes, project plans, and retrospectives—save a lot of time and help maintain consistency across teams.

Overall, Confluence makes it much easier to maintain clear, structured, and searchable documentation that everyone in the team can rely on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

While Confluence is very useful, there are a few areas that can be frustrating in day-to-day work. Page loading can slow down when spaces become large or contain heavy content. Formatting can also feel inconsistent at times, especially when editing complex tables or nested content.

Search results are not always precise, and finding older pages sometimes takes extra effort. Managing permissions at scale can also be confusing, particularly when multiple teams and spaces are involved.

These issues don’t block usage, but improving performance, search accuracy, and editing consistency would make the overall experience better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
