**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

The ability to see all details about every computer you manage.  In addition, the custom scripting and custom monitoring are the best.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Integration with Autotask.  While the integration is there, the process of mapping sites to clients in Autotask is horrible.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It ensures that all computers & servers that we manage are getting patched and allows us to standardize our configurations.

I love how easy it is to use. It feels like an extension of my own skillset. There's tons you can do. It's easy to use that even most users can grasp the basics of the program.

It can feel overwhelming at first. There's a little learning curve.

Being able to see what my clients are experiencing and backing that up with powerful tools that don't interfere in their computer experience is amazing.

That all devices are sorted by a orginisation witch makes it very easy to find a device.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

When the remote client fails to connect with one computer, the entire program seems to crash or becomes very slow.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Way faster to look on a customer their screen than have them name a number for teamviewer.
Also the ease of moving files from one computer is made very simple.

Very easy to use and light on the comoiter, fantastic product for the cost! The integration with Autotask for ticket creation from alerts is very good and extremely useful!!!

Nothing annoying found so far! We love all features so far!

Managing desktops properly for monitoring and management was our main task to solve!

After using competitors products RMM is head and shoulders above them all. No BS just a clear and user friendly product.

How could I dislike it, there is always little foibles in every product but none that I can even mention

Having the ability to create scheduled jobs allow us to not only keep client devices up to date and safe it gives us a great overview of our clients "IT World"

Integration is the best part about RMM. Its intigrated with many of the other products we using like IT Glue and Autotask. This makes life simple when troubleshooting.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Occasionally we have issues with our agents connected. Support is typically quick to resolve.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch management is the big one. We have over 1500 endpoints, patch management allows for us to move into a cruise control state.

Only known hypervisor for minitoring available are ESXi and Hyper-V (Windows Server)
No Performance Monitoring
No possibility to automatically sign  scripts for automation or monitoring

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a service provider we are managing endpoints from many customers. It is essential for us, that  a RMM Tool proactivly tells us about service outages or problems. Through automation we do not depend heavily on human resources.

The most helpful thing about Datto is that you have an all in one RMM. You can do pretty much anything from it. The upside is how many features it has and how many that can be implimented with the system. You have a community of Datto users at your disposal to help in any way. It wasy to use and to put on the customers computer. I use it everyday for work. It is the first thing I load up.

There is not to much that is least helpful. Also no downside for the company or the customers.

Updates, virus protection and overall support.

Sometimes the integration with other platforms can be quirky. Not the end of the world, but it is the one thing that stands out.

I think the ability to remotely access endpoints, non-intrusively, is a game changer. Overall Tech support outputs have improved.

easy to connect to machine, and the "jobs" you can run against the machine save us so much time. this is a product we use every day and very easy to deploy.

the customer support is very poor is anything goes wrong but lucky its a very stable product.

we manage over 2000 endpoints and this would not be possible without this product.

Datto RMM is a great RMM solution, it is easy to use and understand, user-friendly, there are loads of great features and it is very easy to integrate with our current systems as well as simple to implement over all our client sites.

I won't say that there are downsides, I would just add remote uninstalling features for software and drivers

IT makes it very easy for me to manage all my client sites and allows me access machines that are offline as well as has no users to give me access

The product has corrected a lot of the issues we had with doing endpoint maintenance. It is far and above the old product that we used to use which caused us more issues and work on my engineering staff part.

They still need to put a more effective remote console in place. Current options are not up to date and are klugy and slow

We've been able to automate a ton of our workload for the engineers. We replaced an old cumbersome remote tool we were using which was not keeping us up to date and causing us image issues with our clients.

I can remote in and take a look at all the alerts and resolve them promptly.

Sometimes, the remote access tool gives me an error - Remote access limit reached. I have to either refresh the screen or log out and log back in.

I love the simplicity of the jobs and creating the components. Customer support is responsive to questions and helpful. I use the dashboards to visualize the patch management.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

I dislike that I need to double-confirm everything that we go to save.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Datto is used for the remote support tool that we use. When we need to work on machines without users seeing us the agent browser is really good. We use the remote connection as a backup for our other remote tools. Being able to patch machine and monitor software makes keeping our stack up to date and installed on the many machines much easier.

There's many customization that can be done using already available scripts. 
Some info can easily be exported.
New interface to use and configure Datto is very easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The fact that agent browser is required to use most tools and some remote functions.
You cannot see when someone is actively connected to a device.
Reporting is lacking a bit
User account and security level management needs to be simplified a bit

Visability into client environments while being able to support and manage all types of systems from one place. Ability to automate many things and alerting or notifying us when manual intervention is needed

I find the Guest operating information quite helpfull. - This quickly lets me see on what host the Virtual machine is running on, and also what guest machines are running on any given host. - I have not seen this in previous RMM systems i have used.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The Web-remote feature would somtimes freeze and would require me to refresh the page. - This can cause issues if the use is not present to allow the remote connection again.

It's allowing me to monitor patching, alerts for crucial systems and for logging the tickets required to attend to these issues.

It is easy to use, it has a lot of functionality, and gives us the freedom to acomplish many tasks very seemlesly.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

It is very slow. Ideally, we would like the policies, and jobs to take place almost instanteneouly. There are many other services out there that have this capability, instead we have to wait what feels like to long for policies, and jobs to take effect.

Allows us to push policies to our client's computer that helps us keep them as secure as we can, we can also make the onboarding process much easier by pushing policies that auto configure out client's computers.

I love how many community components there are, and how easy it is to use!

The dashboard gives you a birds eye view of your whole environment

Some components can take time to be pushed out to a device, so it's not realtime updates

The Ease of use is one of the best features. I've used many other RMM tools and none of them are as user friendly at DRMM.

Webremote seems unreliable. There are times it works great and other times where it seems to struggle to connect.

We use DRMM to monitor devices, including basic up/down monitors to more advanced monitors for diskspace and event log alerts.

I like the integration it has with other tools to make IT work more efficient

Datto support is not the best. They respond quickly but it is really hit and miss with whom you get to help.

Patch management is great compared to our previous RMM. I like the scripting functionality which makes deploying software and fixes much faster.

I use this daily to monitor important statuses to alert our team. 
The UI is very intuitive and easy to use. 
Training is comprehensive and easy to digest.
Customer support responds back promptly.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

I've noticed discrepencies with pulling accurate information on make and modles of Microsoft Surface laptops and surface pros. Models indicate they are Dell laptops which can lead to confusion when we send reports out to customers.

Helps bring attention to critical issues we are monitoring for our customers, minimizing down time for customers. Granular reports and filters help us with bringing information to our customers quickly and effecently.

The functionality around what can be monitored and the ability to be able to run jobs without being invasive is awesome, really easy to use and abitliy to have the least possible user interaction to get the remote support session going.

Options to create filters and the option to create jobs than can wait for offline computer for as long as you want.

complexity and learning curve is more considerable than with other solutions

In comparison with InTune is easier to check the status of policies and what's happening with the endpoints with the logs being retrived back to the RMM to check them.

I like that I can quickly find out information on our clients machines and that I can remote in from anywhere. Integrates quite well into my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

So far my little experiance hasn't exposed me to many downsides, but the mobile versions of Datto feel very unusable in my opinion. Maybe something I am missing on my end.

Any device specific troubleshooting tasks are much faster when I can remote connect. I also get a quick view of devices and that can aid a lot in seeing what is going on internally behind the scenes.

Datto supports with our remote management. We are a global company with operations across the world. We need to support staff remotely and Datto serves this purpose. We are also able to do Patch Management, push procedures to endpoints, and manage software installed on endpoints.

Datto is a simple user friendly system that is easy to naviagate through and carry out tasks. It is responsive and reliable.

I thinnk the only thing Datto can do to put the cherry on top is to be able to group user, servers and systems into their own folder/catagory instead of having big lists to go through to look for a system to remote onto.

Datto are solving the issue of when the odd time here and there it would not let me remote on for support.

No remote printing capability. Sometimes remote access doesn't work via RDP, VNC and splashtop.

The biggest thing that I love about RMM is the detail in the various tools that we have access to. It also allows for great integration with other tools that we utilize. Datto RMM also becomes the frequently used one stop shop for everything customer support related when it comes to our IT Clients.

The biggest thing that I don't like is that some of the text in lists can be a bit cluttered at times.

We service many different clients with many different configurations. RMM allows us to have all the data about each client in one place.

Datto helps solve issue with remote access plus being able to run a job and apply software without accessing a device is great. It also is easy to see when issues occur and it gives excellent information
