**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Working in a support team you quickly realize that having a tool like Datto RMM to manage your customers' devices can make the difference.

You can set everything up for correct monitoring and the new UI has made the job a lot easier because it has multi-monitor management, you will have separate dashboards to monitor in real time.

Maximum integration with IT Gliue and with other services such as Datto's PSA

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Every now and then it is difficult to understand why an agent is not synchronizing and it is necessary to work with support to discriminate the problems.

However, 24/7 support makes the difference and cannot be done without.

All in one features like managing endpoints with all the policy updates info and  we can manage the device fully remotely without any hassles.

Easy of use, implement and supporting the business/users.

Sometimes its hard to get sync of remaining devices that were not patched during global updates.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support is super easy and fast. Agent browser lets you control the remote device fully like an on premise device and you can perform so many things remotely without even user's intervention that makes this tool more powerful. Also you can see the list of all softwares/applications installed in a remote device and all features/updates/security patches, bitlocker status etc, like so many things you can monitor on regular basis.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Aside from Datto RMM, I've also used NinjaRMM, SolarwindsRMM, Connectwise RMM and Pulseway RMM. So far Datto feels like the most fleshed out and well integrated experience. Being able to build and succesfully deploy the script library I've spent years building is huge. It's easy to use which is crucial because I spend all day in it.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Printer ink levels need to be inverted lol, when you look at them under network devices they'll show you ink and toner levels but they're basically upside down so you have to scroll a few blank pages to see them.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote management and hardware auditing from the background are huge part of my workflow. Being able to quickly remote in and fix and issue or just check serial numbers of existing hardware.

Datto RMM has some amazing features that help us in our daily tasks, such as keeping up with security patches and inventory for our users and clients.  It helps us keep all our clients secure and up to date.  For the most part it's pretty simple to use, and can be efficient and easy to implement in most cases.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The interface is cluncky, and the site more often than not decides to spit out random error messages and you have to start over,  since Datto and Keseya merged, the integration has caused a bit more problems then help.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of all users and patches is a major plus, integration with many other tools makes using RMM worth the time.

I love being able to quickly resolve endpoint and device issues by gaining real-time information and convenient remote hosting ability.

I have no real issues with Datto but would like a more refinined and inuitive user interface possibly?

I have multiple business clients that have a variety of network configurations, endpoints and management requirements. Datto allows me to quickly attend to dozens of sites across multiple tickets at the same time - making my workflow more efficient and also decreasing the amount of software required to perform the same tasks in the past.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Datto is easy to implement and use. I use datto frequently if not everyday for my day to day IT support duties. The number of features allow you to do more especially being able to push updates remotely. Customer support is exceptional and since its web based its easy to intergrate with other web based systems.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

I havent seen many downsides of DMM yet. However notable is its complexity in the configuration process.

Remote user support and patch management is easy. I am able to push remote computer updates remotely and easily. Also its web based interface makes it easy to access anywhere.

All of the informantion is under one page . I never have to click out of one screen and into another.

I belive the connections between portal and client when we are logged into another workstation  seems a bit slow , laggy , choppy .  Yes there are a few factors to consider here our internet vs the clients internet.  I have also tried this from other ISP at other client.

So I had a issue where I was selecting device/workstations to move to another site and after I moved them the check boxes were still selected .  I went and selected a few more not knowing these were still selected and wound up moving the first set to a another  site.

I love the visibility we have on the equipment, as well as the wide range of management, security, and proactive reporting options that the platform offers, and I'm not even mentioning all the other areas where this tool is particularly effective.

So far, nothing to complain about, almost everything is modifiable and adaptable to one's IT needs.

Handling on workstations and servers is faster and easier. The management options allow us to secure client equipment a bit more. Monitoring helps us in troubleshooting issues before they actually impact the client.

I like Datto RMM because of the features within the application from patch management to automation and scripting. Also, access to endpoints and reconnecting works very well. It allows me flexibility to plan for IT projects and the tool is very easy to use, unlike some RMM applications.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Sometimes the search results for endpoints can seem buggish and slow. Also, when scripts or patches are ran, I often don't receive a notification if it was successful or a failure.

Having remote access to machines in field operations where money is on the line is key. I can join a session and see the data in real time. We also use the remote scripting feature for security and patching.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Datto is most helpful for easy access I can do a quick search for machines and can also connect quickly if needed. This is crucial in fire drill type situations with C suite personnel that have high expectations and short patience.

I also like the multiple connection options Datto allows for remote support.
The dashboard is well-designed with thoughtful tabs that I use often. 

We also received excellent support when having an issue it was resolved quickly to get us up and running. This is comforting as Datto is our main remote support access application.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

It would be helpful if jobs pushed to machines went through more quickly but this may be dependent on network speeds and not Datto itself,.

We are a corporation of over 1500 people in the US, UK and Europe.

It's very important to have a way to support our employees remotely as its not financially feasible to have IT support in person for all of our offices.

datto has many features that help in managing the customer's environment, it has a powerful process automation tool with many components. The com store also offers a very wide range of extra components. Furthermore, access to device information, management and remote access are very easy, fast and practical.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

I find patch and software management a little complicated in terms of better visualization, it's a little difficult to find where we approve patches, for example. I believe that a more practical and visual view would help a lot.

Datto solves many problems in the day-to-day management and monitoring of devices, mainly with alerts created in monitoring policies and the execution of automated tasks.

There are great features using this product. It is easy to use, efficient and allows us to quickly resolve problems for our clients. There are many intergrations - with ease of deploying the software packages.

Allows for quick customer access, and customer support. 

This program is being used constantly by me and my tech team.

Alerts are highly customizable.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The new interface does not have all the same features from the legacy interface.

Patches are automatied - alerts let us know if patches fail.
Responsive remote support - allows most issues to be resolved remotly for end users.
Alerts can be used for diskspace issues to monitor componet issues - issues can be resolved before they become a problem.

Easy information about IT itens. Automation Jobs. Alerts about all devices, and management of every little thing about IT. Easy implementation and integration.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The Web Remote (Splash top, RDP and the others too) could be MUCH better. Its too slow, have alot of issues to connect, and the visualization its horrible. Could seem more like AnyDesk for example.

We had alot of devices do control, and with RMM its much easier. The simple problems like slow OS or problemas with spooler (printer), we can automate the solution, so we have less tickets

Overall UI experience and speed. Integration with Autotask PSA and in general the reporting features.

The text is already in English and does not require translation. It discusses the need for improvement in providing built-in automation scripts for installing and uninstalling the top 20 EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) tools. It also mentions that the overall automation module needs to be more user-friendly for individuals who are not coders.

What I like best about Datto RMM is how its automation features save me so much time on routine tasks, allowing me to focus on more strategic projects. Comprehensive Monitoring and Management and it supports both proactive and reactive management, helping to prevent issues before they occur and quickly address those that do arise.
Custom scripts can be deployed to perform specific tasks across multiple devices, which enhances efficiency and consistency.
It supports a wide range of operating systems and device types, ensuring flexibility in diverse IT environments.

The UI is generally user-friendly, some users have noted that it can feel cluttered and less intuitive for certain tasks.

Manually monitoring and managing a large number of devices is time-consuming and prone to errors. Datto RMM provides automated, real-time monitoring of devices, enabling IT teams to detect and resolve issues quickly.
Providing timely support for remote or geographically dispersed users is challenging. Datto RMM includes robust remote access tools, allowing technicians to troubleshoot and fix issues from anywhere.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Dashboard and layout in new interface are pretty but the old interface was more useful and packed more details.  Search bar is actually really nice.  Find what you need by username, device name etc just by typing.  We have 700 (ish) devices under management and this makes it really nice.  An RMM is a requirement if you're an MSP and Datto RMM is an RMM.  You can tell because it has the word RMM right in the title, so this makes in an RMM.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

You frequenty need to revert to the legacy interface to perform tasks even after the "New" interface has been out for nearly 4 years.  Things like auto-onboarding devices in the new interface is extremely cumbersome, although possible.  The old interface is actually useable for this however.  

Kaseya will frequently make changes to further integrate Datto into the rest of the Kaseya eco-system so they can sell you more things.  All the while improvement to the product has mostly stopped.  Web Remote (which they launched separately to Splashtop) is cludgy and slow.  Splashtop integration is actually getting worse to the point where it now doesn't work on about half of workstations.  Issue h been getting worse the last several months and the company has no idea why.

SNMP monitoring of non windows/mac devices is as crappy as it was 3 years ago.  Nearly no improvement to this and nothing seemingly on the horizon requires you to run another platform to monitor switches, routers, etc.  Their limited SNMP options exist so they can say they are there, but they're generally pretty unusable.  

Billing is an absolute nightmare since the Kaseya takeover.  They stopped billing the credit card we had on file for years about six months ag then sent us to their collections department.  The collections department finally dealt with the issue.... by charging the card they had on file.

Allowing for RMM access to all of our devices including remote support, patch management and significant automations.

I like datto because of the tools we can use. Integrations, the way you can manage the clients, tools and more. I like the way we can support the customers. I use datto all day because of the job we do. It's easy to use or implement in our clients.

Web remote, need more to do about tools.

The way we connect on the users devices and the things that we can do on it. It affects in the right way about the time. We can manage our clients device to maintain and help.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

So its very straight forward once you learn how to use it. Everything from remoting into devices, deploying software, creating components, scripts and some features built in especially automation. It is great to segrigate clients networks with this single-pane tool.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Not much to dislike, the one thing is that I wish it was able to give more details why a job expired or had the ability to fix common issues,

It is easier to connec with users and resolve their issues if they are off-site or remote. This saves on time and travel to work on user issues outside of the scope of patch management.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

The quick jobs/jobs are a great feature which takes a lot of headache out of scripting tasks.
The store also has a large amount of handy ready to go scripts which have saved me lots of time over the past few years.

The ability to change the appearance to your taste is also great for productivity and the ease of generating reports is also a worthwhile feature. When using this for remoting into user machines you have three different options so you can work based on your preference, when supporting Mac's splashtop seems to run the best of the three, but be prepared to have to update their permissions first.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The new UI doesn't allow you to generate a list when searching which is quite annoying as we support quite a lot of users and having the search show within a table is very useful to finding specific people when they're unaware of their device name etc.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generating asset lists for individual companies - we need to do that fairly regularly and being able to see at a glance which devices are bitlockered, nearing capacity etc is very handy.
Installing apps across companies is also simpler thanks to the job/quick job function, as well as automated alerts to generate tickets for us to check manually.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

I've been using Datto RMM since 2019 with over 1500 devices. What i like most as an admin working daily on Datto are the patch management, scripting capabilities and the component store, which allows to automate and secure our beloved clients in an easier way than before. From the beginning, during migrating and daily use, the customer support team was a key part of our implementation.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

My only downside with Datto is some inconsistencies that the New UI has. At times, it is necessary for me and the team i work on to switch to the Old UI in order to find some features

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Datto allows us manage our internal business and the MSP clients we work for. It's beneficial to us because it's a feature-rich solution that enables us to provide great added value to our customers.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

We were looking for alternative RMM's and demo'd many, settling on DattoRMM. DattoRMM has all the features and more from our previous platform. Implementation was made easy thanks to the support team. This is our daily tool, my entire team has become well versed in DattoRMM. The many integrations allows us expand upon its core capabilities and make RMM easier to use, easier to manage, and scalable.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The organization groups can't be nested easily, making it difficult to work off an organization and understand the context of related groups. Site Groups need an overhaul.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DattoRMM is how the Help Desk is able to instantly connect to our customer's machines. The speed of connection through web remote is unparalleled. Additionally patch management and policies allow us to manage the entire fleet of customers workstations and servers a breeze.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

I love the simplicity of managing devices through the RMM web portal. 
Filters and scripts are very easy to create. 
Large amount of information is quickly accessible about machines or esxi servers. 
I like the tools on the right hand side of the Web Connect.
Also our Kaseya rep rocks and is very responsive for any issues. 
Use it every day and love it.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

We came from ConnectWise Automate and ScreenConnect. 
I do not think there will be a day I miss Auotmate over RMM but screen connect will be missed, however the web connect and splashtop integration both work very well. Mainly just liked the backstage enviornment but this can be accomplished with the Agent Browser

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Datto RMM allows us as an MSP to be very quick and responsive for customer support. It allows for us to connect to devices and obtain technical info about an asset very quickly and better serve our clients. 
Filtering and scripts are a breeze compared to Automate.

The Datto RMM system is intuative and frankly, pretty slick. It allows me to control a wide array of devices and it's obvious that they really put a lot of thought into it. My Datto representative (Jose) is the best! It's easy to deploy and they have a lot of resources and their helpdesk goes above and beyond.

We used to be able to buy RMM one at a time after the initial purchase but now it must be purchased in blocks of 10 minimum.

Eliminating truck rolls, being able to create my own components for specific purposes.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Datto RMM allows for seamless management and control of user devices and provides a centralized means of remote monitoring that greatly assists in getting the job done. The tool also allows for other Datto tools to be integrated into its platform e.g. ITGlue. It is also easy to implement with just a single installation of the datto agent instantly connects that device to the platform. It allows houses a very reliable customer support staff that helps you with issues you may be experiencing. Finally, my work is centered around remote monitoring and support so Datto RMM allows me to use its platform daily with little to no downtime.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

It doesn't allow single sessions to connect only once to a client's system to assist.

Reduces downtime of systems by allowing efficient and easy access to endpoints to quickly resolve issues.

The core functionality of remote monitoring & management work quite well. The 'New' User interface is quite an improvment visually over the old/legacy interface.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The licensing model, as with all Kaseya products, is abusive. The 'New' user interface has been in development for over five years, and is riddled with inconsistencies between nodes (different table-controls, ability to right-click/open-in-tab, remembering of last used filters, etc) all vary in unexplainable ways between various nodes. Security has taken a back burner - new functionalities are released without being integrated into the existing Security Levels system, or security controls are only added in later releases. Development largely seems focussed on cross-product integrations with Kaseya's portfolio, and little to know attention has been paid to the UX/UI and Security concerns. Customer Support has degrated significantly since Kaseya aquired the product.

DattoRMM allows us to manage hundreds of endpoints at scale. It allows us to monitor and in many cases automatically resovlve issues for our managed endpoints.

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Datto RMM is a great platform with a generally easy to use UI that makes learning it a snap. It provides great overviews, makes system management easy, and provides most of the features you would expect from an RMM. They also offer some nice integrations with other Datto products, which is nice if you're still using those services. The Remote Management portal and integration with Splashtop is also very welcome, as you have an alternative for when their Web Remote won't load.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

The newer UI is missing some great features form the previous UI. The new features they have implemented are often buggy and don't work until months after release. Patch management in particular is a bit wonky. The support has also been lacking lately, it is much harder to get quick assistance for simple issues. They have discussed removing the Splashtop/VNC integration, which would be inconvenient as their Web Remote often will not load in cases where Splashtop will.

Datto RMM allows us to easily find, manage, and assist our clients in the platform. Using Datto RMM, we can easily and effectively make sure we are keeping up with device management for our clients and meet their support needs.

easy to use, visually simple and straight forward, i use it multiple times a day, it's dependable and there's many great features, customer support is pretty quick to help, there's so many resources and community posts to read for ideas or assist with issues or questions.

the new ui doesn't work as well as the old or maybe it's just the look of it that seems overly complicated. with the old ui, you can see more in list/detail view on your screen but this new one is so large and bulky and the organization seems all over the place. i still use the old ui daily, i think the new one just needs to be cleaned up some and simplified so i can work quicker

stopping bad windows updates from rolling out and the ability to work on issues in the background and not have to interrupt a customer/user working

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

the main thing i use Datto for is remote support which is excellent due to the secure login and ease of use, being able to acces devices in the business when of the network from any location is extremely helpful, we do use Datto to manage all our patching and updates and have found it to be near perfect in this regard

implementation of the system is very easy and quick and any issues we have had we were able to wuickly and easily gain some customer support to help us

it would be useful to remove patcheds and updates that are damaged or broken on release directly from datto

the access to a remote support system for me is essential as i deal with the end user on a daly basis Datto provides me with a secure and easy method to do this we have used other systems but each one usually failed on one area or another wheter it is secuity or access out side the business

**What do you like best about Datto RMM?**

Very helpful within our IT Company for managing and providing remote support to our clients, the ability to run tasks in the backgroudn without interfering with the client's use of the machine is also great - such as daily automatic restore points created on all managed devices. Things like that are very easy to setup, no messing around with powershell scripts etc, all done from the  Datto RMM site.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Splashtop is a bit  hit-and-miss - does not always launch. When it does, it's great, however.
There is also an issue where if you stay connected to an OnDemand machine that has since gone offline, it causes issues with your RMM Client and often causes it to freeze permanently.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a perfect solution to being able to carry out administrative  tasks and provide remote support to our  customers. This is very beneficial over the likes of Quick Assist, for example, which does not let you perform administrative tasks whilst the  PC is unattended, as you would need someone there to confirm the prompt.

The ability to not only monitor devices,  but to deploy, and manage them on the fly. Easy to implement in any environment.  I live inside of this product,  frequently using this for almost all of my tasks. EASE OF USE IS AMAZING!

If there was any downside it would be the transparency of some of the functions and integrations,  Although the help desk is fantastic and is able to assist with all of this in a timely manner.

I love the ability to creat custome powershell scripts and push out applications and fixes in a matter of seconds. This create manging all out computers and servers in one window. reports is the best features we leverage.

**What do you dislike about Datto RMM?**

Current we have seen some performance drops on our large instance for 600 devices.

**What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run an in house IT Department and having the ability to simply look up a users computer by there name assists us greatly and our speed in servining our staff has increased. Patching and deploying applications and printers have now become a breeze.

So far we have not encountered anything negative about this platform.  It works great for everything we have needed.

On an every day basis it monitors what I need and much more, the switch from our prior RMM had to be the easiest thing we've ever done. We are able to intergrate third party apps with the library and distribute accordingly, we are able to keep track of data that we need with ease and have it generate in a monthly report.

Being that we use it often we would like a more solid app, I miss being able to use splashtop on my phone for connecting.

It's easy to roll out to devices, with a useful and easy-to-use interface. Any issues that arise for the platform are handled very quickly. Can manage Windows, MAC OS, and Linux + others. Can ensure devices keep up to date with Patch Management capabilities. I rely on the platform every day, and it has not let me down yet. We also integrate into AutoTask for Ticketing and it works very well.

I wish Datto told you if there was an unapproved device on the site you were on.

Once setup and client onboarded it saves a lot of time, there are tool to help learn hopw the system work, the support for it is good enough,but the tool itself is the biggest time saver  ever, in 30 years of it work . this is the tool i now recommand.Once client is onboarded, its easy to integrate our client and onboard all of computer and server. its an everyday tools we use.

Big learning curve, even tho support is good its not complete/fast enough.

Doesn't show system processes, it has monitors for processes but you have to open the Agent browser to see processes. Unfortunately the agent browser is unavailable for Mac.
