**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L. | Motion Graphics Artist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

Timesheets by Tempo works great with Jira and makes time tracking easy. The biggest plus for me is that I can log time in several ways, including AI suggestions, the mobile app, and a Google Calendar link. Creating reports is also straightforward, which helps me track project progress, billing, and team workload all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

It ends up costing more when we have to buy additional Tempo products. When I’m working with large amounts of data, the reports become slow. I also still have to log time manually, since full automation is missing.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps fix time-tracking issues in Jira when teams don’t track time properly, because project costs, billing, and overall progress can take a hit. It removes the hassle of manual logging and lets me split paid and unpaid hours so the reports come out correctly. I use it to spot wasted time and make data-based decisions.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

The most frequently cited disadvantage is the limited functionality when Tempo is used with Jira's like Team-managed (formerly next-gen) projects . These projects historically lacked standard Jira project permissions and had limited ability to add custom fields to directly impacting how Tempo features work, so it was impossible to set a tempo account field on issues within team managed projects you could only add it to the general log time screen. **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel S. | Customer Service Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

I find Tempo helpful in managing project budget and resourcing easily in sheets. The Tempo Budgets feature is great for fulfilling all the gaps between business owners and the technical team. It makes it very easy for me to solve accountability and control issues. I appreciate how it enables decisions to be made based on data-driven insights. The budget feature is also beneficial in connecting the finance and work team together, managing spending as per the company's budget.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Its UI is not simple and no one can set it up easily. Non-technical employees require proper time for training, even though integration with Jira is a good option. An auto log feature would be handy for suggesting us activities and time entries. Initial setup is not easy and professional assistance is always required.

 ### 9. Simple Dashboards and Live Reports with Deep Jira Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

It links sheets to projects, people, and budgets, and we can pull live reports to make quick calls. The layout is simple, we can set up our own dashboards, and it connects deeply with Jira. It quickly shows cost splits, who’s free to work, and profit.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

The license cost feels high for small teams. The setup is tricky, and new users often get confused when trying to use it. Reports can be customized, but it takes a lot of time to understand how, and customer support is also too slow to respond.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It fixed the biggest issues in project work: tracking time and managing clients. Before, teams were basically guessing, so budgets went off and deadlines slipped. Tempo gives real numbers and clearly shows the backlog, overtime, and when we’re short-staffed. Because of this, tasks finish on time, we stay within budget, and we save time overall.

 ### 10. Seamless Jira Integration, Time Tracking Simplified

I appreciate that it helps me manage workload and offers data insights to automate and optimize tracking for financial terms of projects. The integration with other apps, along with frequent updates and scenario updates, is quite effective. The initial setup was easy because of its simple UI.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

During large deployments, the report structure becomes complex and slows down the app's performance.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tempo for managing portfolios and scheduling timelines to improve project accuracy. Its integration with Jira provides clear data visualization. I manage workload, get data insights, and optimize tracking for project finances.

 ### 12. Effortless Time Tracking with Clean Dashboard, Clear Reports, and Tool Sync

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

It helps me track my work hours easily and keeps everything in one place, so I no longer lose track of time. The reports clearly show where my time goes, which makes my workflow simpler and more organized.

 ### 13. Tempo Centralizes Jira Time Tracking and Resource Planning with Strong Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilaria A. | Laurea Magistrale, Ingegneria dell'Automazione, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

What I like best about Tempo is how much it centralizes project and time management without feeling overly fragmented. The UI is intuitive enough that teams can adopt it quickly, especially for users already working inside Jira. The overall UX is clean and structured, making it easy to track worklogs, planning, capacity, and team availability in one place.

One of the most helpful aspects of Tempo is its integrations. The connection with Jira is particularly strong and feels native rather than “bolted on.” This makes it much easier to manage timesheets, resource planning, and reporting directly within existing workflows. It reduces context switching and improves visibility across projects and teams.

Performance has generally been reliable, even when working with larger boards or multiple projects. Reporting and filtering features are useful for both operational tracking and management-level visibility. The analytics and automation capabilities also help reduce manual effort.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, Tempo provides solid value for organizations that need structured time tracking, planning, and resource management. The visibility into team utilization and project effort can help improve forecasting and operational efficiency, which justifies the investment for many teams.

Support and onboarding are also strong points. Documentation is clear, setup is relatively straightforward, and the platform is flexible enough to adapt to different team structures and processes. Updates and new features are introduced regularly, which shows active product development.

Another upside is the growing AI/intelligence component. Features that improve reporting insights, workload visibility, and smarter planning recommendations help teams make faster decisions and reduce administrative overhead. The platform feels increasingly proactive rather than just reactive project tracking software.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

One downside of Tempo is that some advanced configuration and reporting features can feel complex, especially for new users or smaller teams that only need lightweight tracking. While the UI is generally clean, certain administrative workflows require navigating through multiple settings pages, which can slow down onboarding and setup.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tempo helps solve the challenge of managing time tracking, resource planning, and project visibility across multiple teams and workflows. Before using it, tracking effort, team capacity, and project progress was more fragmented and required manual reporting. By integrating directly with Jira, Tempo centralizes this information and makes it easier to monitor workloads, improve planning accuracy, and generate reliable reports for both operational and management needs.

 ### 14. Excellent Jira integration and reporting, but configuration can be complex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elon E. | Chef de projet Conformité - V.I.E (Luxembourg), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

What I liked most about Tempo Timesheets is how seamlessly it integrates with Jira. In practice, logging time becomes part of the daily workflow rather than an additional administrative task. I also found the reporting very useful to understand where time is being spent across projects and to improve resource allocation. For teams managing multiple workstreams, having this visibility is a real advantage.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Some reporting and configuration options can feel more complex than they need to be. New users may need time to understand the different settings, and costs can increase significantly as the number of users grows.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding where time is actually being spent. In practice, it provides much better visibility on workload, project effort, and resource allocation across teams. This makes it easier to identify bottlenecks, improve planning, and track project costs more accurately. For managers, the reporting also supports better decision-making by giving a clear view of team capacity and project performance without relying on manual spreadsheets.

 ### 15. Customizable and Insightful, But Needs Performance Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan P. | Direct Recruiter - Technology & Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

I like Tempo's fully customizable design, which provides modular value and helps in understanding data insights quickly. I enjoy its adjustable dashboard with custom charts, which converts portfolio data into useful insights. It is very valuable for us because it converts raw Jira data into actionable insights for our team. Also, the initial setup isn't as complex as it seems, and technical users can easily get a grip on it.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

While handling large data, its performance is slow and lags during the process; this problem seems to need solving for perfect use.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tempo helps us manage projects with Jira, adapt plans quickly, and convert outdated plans. Its adjustable dashboard and charts make raw data into actionable insights, and its design is customizable for modular value.

 ### 16. Detailed Time Tracking and Collaboration, But Setup Can Be Confusing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George S. | Database Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

I like its time-tracking feature, which provides complete details about logged hours and the exact time we connect, along with priorities. All our projects are laid out in a clear interface where we can collaborate on them and tailor our work to our business goals.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

The interface I don't like because it is very confusing to setup and sometimes when we switch between multiple pages it stuck and we cant go to exact page.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us full visibility into the progress, costs, and resource planning across multiple projects, which helps us make smarter decisions and improve productivity. Before using it, we struggled with raw data and manual reporting, which was time-consuming. Now, its time tracking makes everything much easier for us.

 ### 17. Simple Dashboard: Full Infrastructure Visibility & Efficient Team Resource Allocation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia K. | Cybersecurity Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

I like its dashboard most because it is very simple and provides an overview of our project's entire infrastructure. Another thing I appreciate is its resource allocation, which lets me monitor the whole team — who is working on which task and their working hours.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

In my personal experience, the navigation system is a bit difficult to operate, and the reporting system does not provide complete data reports, which makes it harder to do my work.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem is poor resource allocation, which is easily addressed by its resource planner. Estimating project timelines was disrupted because some employees reported their hours incorrectly, which threw off our budget; in that case, time tracking provides accurate data about employees' working time.

 ### 18. Accurate Jira Time Tracking with AI Suggestions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Masood A. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

It makes time tracking much easier in Jira, and with the AI suggestions we can track work hours more accurately. The reports show overall project progress and also help us with budgeting. We can manage workflow approvals as well, which helps improve productivity.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

The prices are too expensive for small industries, and the setup has a bit of a learning curve. The interface looks a little outdated, and the mobile app doesn’t provide a real-time experience for tracking project time.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it, we made mistakes by entering time manually and missed some entries, which made our billing inaccurate. This problem is easily solved with its Jira integration, and with better project visibility, performance can be managed much more easily.

 ### 19. Powerful Jira time tracking with room to improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

What I like most about Tempo Timesheets is how seamlessly it integrates with Jira, so time tracking feels like a natural part of the work instead of a separate chore. Being able to log time directly against the issues I’m already working on reduces context switching and keeps everything aligned with real project progress.

The weekly timesheet view is especially helpful. It provides a clear, structured snapshot of logged hours across days and tasks, which makes it much faster to review entries and fix mistakes. From a manager’s perspective, the approval workflow is straightforward and supports accountability without creating unnecessary overhead.

On the reporting side, Tempo offers solid visibility into team capacity and how time is allocated across projects. I regularly use the filters and reports to break down time by project or by user, which helps with resource planning and spotting bottlenecks. This has improved transparency across the team and made it easier to explain timelines and effort to stakeholders.

In terms of UI/UX, it isn’t perfect, but the interface is consistent and becomes efficient once you get used to it. Performance has also been dependable; even with larger datasets, reports generally load at a reasonable speed.

One unexpected benefit is how useful the data has been for forecasting and billing. Having structured, accurate time logs has made internal reporting and client billing much clearer and more transparent.

Overall, Tempo delivers the most value in environments that already rely on Jira, where its integration, reporting capabilities, and approval workflows noticeably strengthen time-tracking discipline and operational visibility.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

While Tempo Timesheets is powerful, there are a few areas where it could be improved.

From a UI/UX perspective, the interface can feel unintuitive, especially for new users. Certain actions—like editing past entries, navigating between teams, or locating specific reports—require multiple clicks and aren’t always where you expect them to be. This increases the learning curve and can slow down both individual contributors and managers during reviews.

Reporting, while flexible, can also be somewhat complex to configure. Creating customized reports or filters often takes trial and error, and it’s not always clear how to get the exact data view you need. Simplifying report building or providing more guided templates would make this much more efficient.

In terms of integrations, although the Jira integration is strong, connections with external tools (like calendars or other work management platforms) can feel limited or inconsistent. For example, syncing data doesn’t always translate cleanly into actionable timesheet entries without manual adjustments.

Performance is generally stable, but there are occasional slowdowns when loading larger datasets or generating detailed reports, which can interrupt workflow—especially during peak review times.

From a pricing/ROI standpoint, Tempo can become relatively expensive as team size grows, particularly for smaller teams or organizations that may not use its full feature set. A more flexible pricing model or feature-based tiers could make it more accessible.

Support and onboarding are decent, but the initial setup—especially around permissions, teams, and workflows—can be complex. Clearer onboarding guidance or more interactive setup assistance would help teams get up to speed faster.

Regarding AI/intelligence, while features like auto-suggestions based on calendar data are helpful, they still feel somewhat basic. There’s an opportunity to expand this further—for example, smarter recommendations based on historical work patterns, anomaly detection in time logs, or more proactive insights to help managers during reviews.

Overall, Tempo Timesheets is a robust tool, but improving usability, simplifying reporting, and enhancing intelligent automation would significantly elevate the user experience.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tempo Timesheets primarily solves the challenge of accurately tracking and managing time within a Jira-based workflow. Before using Tempo, time tracking was either inconsistent or handled in separate tools, which led to gaps in data, manual reconciliation, and limited visibility into how time was actually spent across projects.

By integrating directly with Jira, Tempo ensures that time logging is tied to real work items. This has significantly improved data accuracy and reduced the need for manual follow-ups with team members. As a result, we now have a reliable, centralized view of effort across tasks, projects, and teams.

One of the biggest benefits is improved visibility for both team leads and stakeholders. Managers can easily review timesheets, monitor workload distribution, and identify under- or over-utilization. This has helped us make better resource allocation decisions and avoid bottlenecks.

Tempo also streamlines the approval process. Instead of chasing timesheets via email or spreadsheets, everything is managed in one place with clear workflows. This has reduced administrative overhead and improved compliance with internal reporting requirements.

From a business perspective, the reporting capabilities have been particularly valuable. We use Tempo data for project tracking, forecasting, and in some cases billing. Having accurate time data has improved estimation accuracy and made it easier to justify timelines and costs to stakeholders.

Overall, Tempo Timesheets has helped us move from fragmented, manual time tracking to a more structured and data-driven approach, resulting in better planning, increased accountability, and more efficient operations.

Overall, it sometimes feels slow, especially when opening reports. The UI is a bit confusing at first, and editing time entries isn't very smooth. The mobile version also feels lacking.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reliably tracks my work hours so I don't lose or forget time. Everything is saved in one place, which makes things easy to find. The reports help me understand my work better, and it saves time while making my daily work more organized.

 ### 21. I would like to share my experience using Tempo Timesheet

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omer B. | Lead SDET, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

Because it connects directly to Jira, it automatically pulls information in real-time, which means your team’s tasks, deadlines, and overall progress are always up-to-date without having to do anything. This means you won’t have to waste time copying and pasting information or relying on outdated information. The tool employs color-coded bars to enable a quick evaluation: red for a team member who is overwhelmed, blue for a team member who is underworked, and green for a balanced workload. This is a great feature that enables you to identify imbalances in workloads before burnout occurs.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

The UI can sometimes feel a bit heavy or slow when loading large plans or when dealing with multiple users at once.

There is little flexibility for sudden changes, such as last-minute changes, urgent work, or unexpected tasks.

It is a very data-dependent process—if the data in the Jira issues or estimates is not correct, then the planning will not be accurate.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: Employees are suffering from burnout because work is being assigned to them in a random, irregular fashion without any organized process.

Solution: We created a red, yellow, and green visibility system that shows who is at capacity or idle before any new tasks are assigned.

Problem: Managers have no visibility into what teams are working on in the coming months.

Solution: We now use drag-and-drop timeline forecasts to give a realistic and forward-looking view of team capacity weeks and months in advance.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping records of my budget and expenses has always been a big challenge for me, but this app helps by providing real-time data to manage my financial portfolio instead of relying on separate applications.

In our professional projects we often need to provide time spent report to customers who require it. This reporting tool provides easy to read reports per project or per resources and fine grained permissions can be set to respect privacy issues.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

The tool adds a panel. It is not aleays easy to set up its visibility to users accurately, and the existence of this panel with the native time tracking that comes eith Jira. So in case of previous data in existing projects it will take a lot of time to get the reports working correctly.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep our projects compliant with customer demanding in terms of time spending.

 ### 38. Easy to use and efficient

Tempo is very easy to use as it is integrated with your calendar and also User stories of Jira and places them in already for you to just click and implement. You can log in time as frequent as you want, but usually users do it once a week, and their managers approve it.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Nothing to add about this as it is well thought through

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me alot of time for a task which does not add value to my work but it does to others.

Planning time is now easier for the entire team. Recording time spent is like child's play!

Helping track billable customer work

 ### 41. Easy to use for both managers and employees

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sascha Z. | Product Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

The Outlook calendar integration that pre-populates your timesheet allows you to quickly track time on your meetings. If you create your Outlook appointments with the appropriate Jira ticket number it makes adding time even easier, one quick confirmation is all you need to do.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Tempo will propose Jira tickets and durations for your timetracking, however this can be hit and miss. For instance, if you keep a Jira ticket open in a tab as reference then Tempo will propose this ticket to you every day with varying durations. A bit annoying, but that's it.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to see how much time we spend on a given project, as well as time spent supporting customers, this then helps me take decisions. I also found it a useful tool to see if my remote team were getting overwhelmed.

 ### 42. Allows for manual time tracking for all JIRA users, followed by having some basic reporting tools.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashton S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

Tempo allows you to handle teams of people and monthly approvals through the team leads and proxies.
It has the most needed configurations for reports, such as:
- the start of the period
- the length of the reporting period
- the ability to let people log time into the future or not

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Teams have to be manually managed. As staff joins, leaves and moves teams, you must maintain the team alignments.
Large organizations can have a large team count, which becomes challenging to maintain.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking time to specific projects, with the ability to report on the time per person spent. Allowing us to provide this to the accounting team for capitalization of the development costs of new software.

 ### 43. very easy to manage

we can link our planification to jira history and subtasks to manage estimation for weeks and months

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

too much clicks to get something done difficult sometimes the process

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we need to know how many hours available we have in the factory
also we need to know for each developer how many hours they have assigned to manage labor charge

 ### 44. Time-consuming and buggy

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

While tedious to use, it has a feature to automatically log the time it took you to log your time on a JIRA task which is significant.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Recurring bugs enough to cause significant productivity loss and it is hard to convince their support that there is really a problem that they should address

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brings additional burden to keep record of efforts and time spent on JIRA tasks, sometimes not saving submissions and sometimes causing double entries which are extremely difficult to detect and fix retrospectively

 ### 45. The perfect complement for JIRA Cloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos M. | Sr. Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

Tempo Timesheets is the best complement for JIRA Cloud because it allows you to properly do time tracking of your JIRA Issues.
With Tempo you can plan and track your timesheets and have better control over your project. By the end of each period, you will be able to check the contributions by each of your developers with accurate measurement of their time spent into developing their assigned tasks.
Tempo also offers great reporting tools that are highly valuable for you as a Project Manager.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

I believe they could improve the visualization of exported timesheets, when you sport to PDF or Excel spreadsheet.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking of JIRA Cloud Issues with useful reports and the ability to filter by project or user.
Edit time estimations, add trackers while developing a new feature, etc.
Tempo is as I already stated, the perfect complement for JIRA Cloud.

 ### 46. best at monitoring project status and how much hour into it

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamzeh R. | Quality assurance engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

Track the whole team's hours that are put into the project, very precise as it's integrated with Jira tickets for the project

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Maybe add some details about how much time is left in blocked tickets for a certain project

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project cost tracking and easy monitor what the team worked on and how many hours they put into on that project

 ### 47. Simplicity is Tempo's biggest asset

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raul I. | Senior Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

It's fast and intuitive. Logging time at the end of the day is quite easy due to its simple design. I spend less time logging time and more time working on issues.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Not being able to adjust some of the default behavior, such as the minimum time unit on the logged time suggestions. More control over the application-level settings would be great.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of hours spent on issues so they can be correlated with service agreements. I'm not in a position that requires time tracking for wages, so in my case it's a productivity loss, but I can see how it can help quite a bit in such cases.

 ### 48. Been using with my team for years!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily A. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

We've been using Tempo for years on Jira. Tempo has been very helpful in reviewing resources spent within our team. We are now setting up with a new software called Forecast, and it's fully integratable.
Looking forward to seeing how Tempo could become with Forecast.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

Would like to see better UI (user interface design) within the Tempo app. Reports could look more visually appealing for team leads to comprehend and understand better.

**Recommendations to others considering Tempo:**

If you are considering to integrate this with the team, it would be best to have an SOP, so this can be rolled out consistently with everyone on the team. If everyone is on board with using Tempo, it will give you a good high-level understanding of your resources.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With tempo integrated, we are able to keep track resources spent within our team, projects, clients. This will allow us to align our future planning of assignment and engagements.

 ### 49. Makes time tracking so easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher D. | SVP of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

The calendar integration also makes things incredibly easy. As long as people are adding links to the Jira stories in their meeting description, the people who were in the meeting can go and click a checkbox, and they have logged time for the meeting.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

It has a lot of really great reporting options, I just wish there were some additional ways to slice and dice the data, though I certainly admit that I am probably being a little pedantic in what I am looking for.

**Recommendations to others considering Tempo:**

They've got a large suite of other applications that also tie into this. If you are serious about enterprise time tracking, it's worth diving into the other products.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking for professional services and time tracking by a project to see where we spend a lot of time in our workflow. The most significant benefit is that it is helping us to realize where we need to add automation.

 ### 50. Tempo time sheets has become integral to our day to day processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron J. | Senior Technical Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Tempo?**

The calendar view of Tempo Timesheets is outstanding; you can look at it in comparison with your daily calendar, Office 365, or Google. It will list all your scheduled meetings allowing you to quickly add time and the correct ticket association to those meetings. Tempo will also track the amount of time you spend on a given ticket and provide suggestions on where your time went making it a snap to review your entries and track your work.

Tempo Timesheets is an essential tool if using Jira and tracking time granularly for billing accuracy to clients.

**What do you dislike about Tempo?**

There are few things that I believe tempo doesn't do well. One thing I do find frustrating is the ability to configure and store filters on the time entry box. and the inability to say "Not included in" vs. "Included in" only. It would make it much more straightforward, for instance, to say "Status Not In done or canceled" instead of having to do "Status IN 50 different statuses."

**Recommendations to others considering Tempo:**

You can demo it for free give it a test run; you won't be disappointed.

**What problems is Tempo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking, view, reporting, and scheduling have all become much more efficient, leading to higher productivity saving time and money. For me this has had a direct result in better performance.
