It also helps you see whether any attack on your infrastructure is happening. From SOC perspective it let team check if there is any ongoing scanning that is not legitimate. Team can also see if there were any failed logins in root account and it’s just an example of benefits because Splunk let you gain real time view of your infrastructure.
