"Keeps Us Organized, But Guest Access Is Limited"
What do you like best about Confluence?

This tool makes it much easier to locate documents and share articles with our operations team. It allows us to keep everything in one place, which really helps keep the team organized. Easy to create articles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

It would be great if guest users could access multiple Projects. Currently, a guest can only have free access to one Project at a time; accessing more than one requires a license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy access and integration, but sluggish performance"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I find it great that Confluence is accessible from anywhere, which significantly eases access to always up-to-date content. The simple capture of data and the countless possibilities to further develop and format it are particularly valuable to me. The direct integration of existing content from other Atlassian products is extremely practical, and the ability to export content for delivery to the customer without having to create Word files yourself is very time-saving. Another advantage is the uniform formatting across all content, which makes the presentation more professional. I also appreciate the fact that with Confluence we were able to completely replace the additional authentication that was previously necessary to access network drives in the company network. This saves time and provides a fail-safety that our IT team no longer has to worry about. It was also particularly impressive how easy it was to switch from the server installation to the cloud early on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Loading the content is quick, but all apps, etc., take forever to load, and until they are fully loaded, editing Pages is usually not recommended. The editor becomes very sluggish when editing pages with a lot of content and is even unusable for excessively long pages. It would be helpful if there were a direct suggestion to split large pages into several smaller pages, possibly with a tool that assists in the separation without losing content or dependencies. "Facilitate Documentation and Open Collaboration"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I like that Confluence makes it easy to share information with stakeholders from different parts of the organization, as it offers an open and accessible space for everyone. It is a tool that allows me to dive into all the company's projects and search for specific information about features that interest me, which helps me to be better informed and to make more targeted inquiries to the responsible team. Additionally, I appreciate that it is quite easy to use, making interactions with the tool not require prior training. Creating new projects in Confluence is also simple, resulting in a fairly smooth and efficient user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

When editing a long page, I have to scroll a lot to be able to continue writing after the last thing that was written. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is clean and easy to use, while features like templates, real-time editing, and powerful search ensure that information is always structured and accessible.

It integrates well with other tools like Jira, making it especially valuable for project management and cross-team collaboration. Whether for documenting processes, managing projects, or building a knowledge base, Confluence helps teams stay aligned, save time, and work smarter together.

"best for me in lesson planning for my classes"
What do you like best about Confluence?

the best thing i like is having all the lesson planning for my classes or upcoming classes at one platform so i dont waste time digging through endless websites or platforms and also its ai features really help in having the same plan getting structured and looks very official. it makes my work smoother as everyone can see how structured and proffesional my work looks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

"My experience with Confluence"
What do you like best about Confluence?

One thing I like about confluence it is simple to create and structure pages. The interface is user friendly, and features like page linking, templates, and search make it very easy to keep content organized. I also like that multiple people can collaborate on the same page, which helps my team stay on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Sometimes, confluence is a little slow with larger spaces, and the formatting options could be more flexible. for new users it takes a little time to get used to the hierarchy of spaces and pages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having the privilege to to control access to our space and spaces which we create ensure that document will not get tampered.

due to the confluence cloud we can deploy or implement confluence easily and support is also very good.

very beneficial for daily use

I have integrated confluence with many other software for auto generation of pages which helps the organization alot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for general documentation, but not AWS-focused"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is quite reliable when it comes to documentation and team collaboration. Its Ease of Use makes it simple for new users to get started, and the Ease of Implementation was fairly smooth within our setup. The Frequency of Use across teams is high, as it helps centralize information and keep track of ongoing projects. Overall, it provides a structured way to share and organize knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

On the downside, the Number of Features can sometimes feel overwhelming, and not all of them are relevant for day-to-day work. While the tool supports integrations, the Ease of Integration with certain third-party apps isn’t always seamless. In addition, the Customer Support experience could be more responsive and proactive, especially when issues affect collaboration at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A robust and reliable platform for software project documentation and workforce collaboration"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence offers a clean and intuitive workspace for creating, storing, and sharing documents. At Caresystems South Asia, we use it extensively to document software projects, maintain client implementation guides, and manage internal processes. The platform is straightforward enough that most staff can begin using it with minimal training, and its familiar formatting options make navigation and content creation easy.

Rolling it out within our organisation was relatively smooth, particularly since we were already using other Atlassian products. Setup and configuration did not require heavy technical involvement, and new projects could be documented almost immediately after deployment.

Confluence has become part of our daily operations. Teams across development, consulting, and support use it consistently to record meeting notes, store technical specifications, and collaborate on project documentation. The range of tools available — from page hierarchy and collaborative editing to template libraries and search — gives it the flexibility to support many different business functions.

Its ability to connect with Jira is especially valuable, as it links project documentation directly with tasks and issues. Beyond Jira, integration with other Atlassian and third-party applications extends its usefulness, allowing us to streamline workflows across departments without needing separate platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

There are still areas where the platform could improve. Very large documents or pages with multiple embedded files can slow performance, which interrupts productivity. The reporting and audit trail features, while present, are not detailed enough for strict compliance requirements. Offline use is also limited, which can create difficulties when teams are working with clients in locations where internet connectivity is unreliable.

Customer assistance is another area of concern. While Atlassian provides thorough online guides, knowledge bases, and community forums, direct hands-on support is less accessible. For urgent issues, relying heavily on self-service materials can be frustrating and time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
