## Testmo Reviews
  ### 1. How TestMo Performs in Daily QA Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaydeep D. | DA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

What I like best about TestMo is its clean and intuitive interface that makes managing test cases, runs, and results very simple. It integrates well with popular tools like Jira and GitHub, which helps streamline the QA process. The ability to organize tests efficiently and track progress in real time is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

What I dislike about TestMo is that its reporting and analytics features feel somewhat limited compared to other tools. It can also be a bit slow when handling large test suites. Additionally, customization options for dashboards and workflows could be more flexible.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestMo helps centralize all test management activities — from manual test cases to automated results — in one place. It saves time by improving team collaboration and providing clear visibility into testing progress. This has made it easier to track coverage, manage releases, and ensure better product quality.

  ### 2. Easy to Use with Great Support, But Testcase Sharing Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rowen S. | Senior QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Ease of use
Multiteam support
Customer support is on point, quick to respond to queries
Automation has been easy to integrate with reporting
Testmo has been used by all teams not just QA - business has an overview of work and bugs logged for feature testing

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

The ability to edit test cases is quite limited. Sharing test cases between teams has also been challenging, as it's not possible to share repositories across teams. Additionally, the options for selecting test cases could be improved.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo has significantly improved our reporting process for business stakeholders. Previously, we relied on Google Sheets, which often led to the QA team retesting the same bug multiple times. With Testmo, we can now maintain our own repositories, assign test cases and regression tasks more efficiently, and ensure greater accountability within the team.

  ### 3. Intuitive and Affordable Testing Platform, but Test Case Editing Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman K. | QA Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

I appreciate its ease of use, clean and intuitive design, and the built-in reporting features that make tracking test progress straightforward. The platform offers great value for its low price, especially considering its support for manual, exploratory, and automated testing in one place.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

The editability of test cases feels limited, which can slow down test maintenance. Additionally, the URL structure is not ideal — test cases open only in a sidebar rather than having their own dedicated page, which affects navigation and deep linking.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo helps us to store the manual testcases and map them on our automation

  ### 4. Easy Test Management, But UI Needs Improvement on Large Screens

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roni M. | QA Tester, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

It’s easy to use and makes it simple to manage test cases as well as integrate and monitor automated test executions.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

Some UI elements have fixed pixel sizes, which can affect the user experience on larger monitors. Also, the lack of a proper search feature makes it difficult to quickly find specific test cases or runs.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo brings together all of our manual and automated test management into a single platform, making it much easier to keep everything organized in one place.

  ### 5. Effortless Test Management with Intuitive Design and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

It makes Test Management so easy with the intuitive and aesthetically pleasing design. Multiple testers can use shared repositories to set up individual test runs, the results can be easily pushed to a report that is accessible to non-technical audiences. The management of exploratory testing is unlike anything I've used before and really allowed the team to be more creative in their test sessions and focus on the product rather than the admin of recording their findings. Integrations were straight forward to set up and the team took no time in getting to grips with the system, but where they did have questions the Support available was brilliant, questions were answered in a meaningful way rather than just generic FAQs that didn't give us the information we needed.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I think the negatives we have found have been minimal, there are a couple of enhancements that are in the roadmap around things like shared steps and automation integrations but nothing major

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

making testing more efficient, spending less time managing test artefacts and more time focussed on the products and services we're testing. As the team has reduced in recent years that is more important than ever, and the dashboard and reporting capabilities allow us to build meaningful updates for stakeholders based on qualitative information and not numbers that don't tell the full story

  ### 6. Testmo is a time saver for qa needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin C. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

I like that Testmo consolidates all the testing cycle with automation runs, exploratory sessions, manual repository, etc. Its so easy to integrate and migrate to.

It reduced the overhead of creating milestones and regression executions by a 50% of the previous tool we were using.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

The only thing I would like and I dont know if its a feature already, its to have the test case id more up front, like next to the summary or something, it will be easier when doing automation coverage.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all the QA needs in one place, its easy to create release milestones, duplicate existing runs and linking them to milestones, also automation reporting is solid and easy to integrate.

  ### 7. Excellent Test Case Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidy M. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Its features and integration, it really solved the main issue with test case management at my company.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

Currently nothing, I just wish it had easier ways to integrate with automated tools and frameworks. And of course, AI.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test Case disorganization in my project, having automation results and test cases results in more then 1 place. Now I have everything in one place with the great integration Testmo has with automation tools like Cypress.

  ### 8. Exceptional organization and control for QA with TestMo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lonny D. | QA Sr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

It is very easy to use and intuitive, helping the QA team to have excellent organization regarding test executions and scenario repository.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I have nothing bad to say, TestMo helped to enhance the control of test executions.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Control and visibility of test execution

  ### 9. Great for Regression Testing and Exploratory Sessions, Needs Better Search Traceability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Director, Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Separated use of Tests and Sessions. We deploy tests for regression seeking and sessions for exploratory unknown investigations. It integrated easily into Jira and Slack.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

It's not matured yet to its final state where hardware, firmware, and HIL is separately traceable. It also has limited search capabilities.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo serves as adigital test journal: both as a comprehensive log, recording failures and successes throughout a feature or hardware's lifecycle. This assists us in conducting root cause analysis and also provides a historical record that boosts our confidence in the component's reliability.

  ### 10. Centralized Test Database, but the Experience Still Falls Short

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aurore D. | Software Quality Assurance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Help to have our test database in one place.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

The link with the Atlassian suite could be improved, with more options.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to have a test database that we can then use to perform tests more quickly.

  ### 11. Clean UI and Easy Migration, But Missing AI-Powered Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto L. | QA Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

The clean UI, easy drag and drop and not complicated to migrate to.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

It lacks AI features that could help us to create better test cases, do nice statistics with graphs, generate automated workflows.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo is solving the old QA problem: Dependency on old tools that are clunky, complicated, with cluttered UI and expensive.

  ### 12. Solid Product, works well, cheap for companies, negligible flaws

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas G. | QA tester, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

it lets me organize my test cases and run them on software, they communicate to customers, i use it often and it works well, and its easy to integrate with other software like jira

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

the runs and results page lags my computer

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i need to check off tests on software i use, testmo lets me organize that

  ### 13. Simple, no hassle test case management tool - but highly useful!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sallehin S. | Head of QA, Transformation and Digital, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

If you're using Excel or Google Sheets to track your test cases, consider using Testmo - it can easily import your existing test cases there, and you can then use it to track both manual or automated test that you have. If you don't have any test cases written yet, using Testmo makes your life easier - you don't need to be constricted to writing test cases in steps, you can write it as a whole description if you want.

The flexibility given by the tools make it simple to use with no hassle, especially if you're using it to run multiple projects simultaneously. With integration link to JIRA, it makes it easier for QA team to log bug without the need of switching. My team takes to use Testmo daily in such a short time and they like it a lot. We have implemented Testmo as part of our processes and we're glad that we can get rid of multiple "versioned" Excel that has been laying around.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

Testmo has a concept that separates the automated test and the manual test. Linking the automated test to test cases that you already written in Testmo is a bit hard and taking time if you need to do it one-by-one.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Test cases management: creating test cases, executing test cases (both manual and automated), recording test evidence,

  ### 14. Great tool for managing test cases and executing test runs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michał S. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Testmo offers easy way of creating and managing test cases. Thanks to possibility of adding tags to test cases - there is easy way to find the most crucial test cases when there is need to create test run with specified criterias. Testmo offers also many integrations. For example - there is option to integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and later you can add conections between test cases and automated tests results. Thanks to that there is easy way to track both test results (automated and manual) from each test case. I like also possilibity of creating exploratory sessions - thanks to them there is no need to create single-use test cases. The very helpful feature is also integration with JIRA (so there is easy way to check even if there was created test cases for specified user story, etc.).

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I would like to see following features in Testmo:
- possibility of create and save filters in repositories and in test runs
- possibility to easy find test cases that contains specified test in any step or expected result
- possibility of easy searching for created by and update by
- possibility odf addding any kind of attachments in folders notes (especially that sometimes there is need to include useful recording etc. that are common for all test cases in specified folder)
- possibility of adding test cases twice to single test run (sometimes there is need to test them from two levels)

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo offers easy way for managing and executing test cases.

  ### 15. Great test management tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elijah B. | QA Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

The ability to search for and keep our tests organized has been a great change in my QA team. We were tracking with a spreadsheet which made it hard to search for existing test cases and see if any were duplicates.

With Testmo's search feature it is really quick to find all tests related to various features of our product by just typing in a few key words!

On my team we use Testmo every day, whether we're adding new test cases or creating new test runs to test new features and bug resolutions for our product. The customer support is also outstanding, very timely responses and quick to offer solutions to any problems we're experiencing, and other great ways to utilize Testmo.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

It would be nice to be able to filter on issues test cases are linked to when they are in an active test run. We have ClickUp integrated with testmo and it's made tracking testing on individual tickets much easier. But when we run a regression sometimes we want to isolate test cases related to past tickets by ticket number to prioritize them in the test run, and right now we can't do that with filtering

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo is solving our problem of keeping test cases organized.

This is beneficial for us because we have a history of how features are being tested for our product, with a paper trail and what has and has not been passing.

  ### 16. Great way to organize QA resources

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Software Quality Assurance Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Very easy to see automated test results once they've been reported.
Easy to include templates for how test cases are logged when being manually tested.
Easy to see history of test cases statuses, as well as history of revisions of test cases.
Good filtering tools to see who has authored a test case, and other filters.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I wish there were better ways to integrate with third party services like Linear so that when a failure is reported on a test milestone and/or test run, an issue is automatically created on Linear for that test failure.

I also wish that I could easily distinguish a test case failure and a session failure between the two.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company previously used Testrail, and we felt that automated test cases were not reporting consistently, and Testrail experienced much more frequent downtimes than what Testmo has. We also didn't previously have a way to log exploratory test results on Testrail, but with the Sessions capability that Testmo provides, we have a very streamlined process in how to do that.

  ### 17. Intuitive Test Management platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quy H. | Test Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Testmo is a next-gen test management tool designed specifically for modern software teams. Unified Test Management is the best thing this platform offers to its users, whether you are a Test Engineer who drafts the test case or a tester who will execute the test cases written by the TE. Testmo brings together test cases, test automation, and exploratory testing in one platform. It’s not just about managing test cases; it unifies all your testing efforts.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

Two things I think Testmo can improve: First of all, Analytics of Test Results: I find that the analytics of test results could be more useful, especially for teams with mostly automated tests. Secondly, Backup via API: Currently, Testmo does not support backup via API.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo offers one consolidated platform for Test Management, we don't have to use many Google Sheets, separated documentations and instructions, separated platform to track bugs, etc.

  ### 18. An amazing test management tool great for teams big and small

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lewis H. | Automated Test Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

My favorite thing about Testmo is the support. I have reached out to them a couple times and they always respond quickly. I also liked how easy it was to switch from our previous test management tool.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I dislike that I can't customize the test reports based on custom fields. The reports are great but I would love some more customization.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we were looking for a new test management tool, we needed two things. 1 - a pricing structure that made more sense for my team and 2 - automation integration. Testmo delivered on both of thos requirements and more.

  ### 19. Testmo Overall Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ganesh P. | Python automation engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

its most helpful for me because of writting test cases for view and better understand to edit and copy and move options for easy to modify, easily link to automation results, tracking wise good

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I'm using it every day but I noticed one major issue like session logout and if I need to create a folder it is difficult for beginners, customer support also not good and if i serach any issuse regerding google not getting any proper response.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's helpful test cases review and and automation results liked to jira

  ### 20. Effective solution for managing tests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Overall, we're very happy with Test Mo. It's a reliable and efficient tool that has improved our testing process.

Specific strengths:

Ease of use: Test Mo is intuitive and user-friendly.

Test case and run management: The tool handles test cases and runs seamlessly, making it easy to organize and track our testing efforts.

Session feature: The session feature is a valuable addition that streamlines our workflow and enhances collaboration.

Test automation reports: The test automation reports are clear, concise, and informative, providing valuable insights into our testing progress. We can see logs and issues details.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

1. The inability to automatically link manual test cases with automation in the codebase necessitates a time-consuming and inefficient manual process.
2. The inability to view the contents of child folders can lead to confusion and give the false impression that folders are empty.
3. The limitation of displaying only 6 active automation sources per page, without the option to adjust this limit, hinders efficient navigation and management.
The "many active sources" message is unclear. It doesn't specify the actual number, which creates confusion. Our application is extensive, with numerous services, and we rely on sources to organize pipelines and group runs effectively. We don't retain outdated files, so the current limitation is hindering our workflow.
4. A redesign of the sources feature would be highly beneficial, allowing for grouping by tags and enabling the addition of tags within the web application itself.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test Management:

- Efficient organization and tracking of test cases and runs
- Streamlined testing process

Automation Reports:

- Clear insights into testing progress
- Identification of areas for improvement

  ### 21. User friendly UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaganathan S. | QA Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Testmo is very good tool for test management which i worked before. It has so many features like integration with Jira, updating bugs, pass/fail status and so on. It is highly recommended for whom they are looking for a easy to use tool.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I am not able to delete the test cases from the repository, may be not sure i have limited access or Testmo doesnt have this feature.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is more beneficial for tracking the test cases with pass/fail status and for generating the reports to present for stackholders.

  ### 22. An Excellent Cost-Effective Cloud Test Management Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Testmo provides all the essential features expected from a test management solution at a competitive licensing price.
The user interface is intuitive, highly responsive, and easy to navigate.
Extensive customization options for key attributes like fields, statuses, and test case workflows.
The session feature allows you to document all test results generated from exploratory test sessions.
Integration capability with test automation results.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

No robust reporting module.
CSV export lacks the ability to export multiple test steps into separate rows.
There is no quick way to get feedback on test case counts across multiple hierarchical test suites, especially after applying various filters.
Lack of visibility of key features planned to be released in the future

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effectively managing test cases of different software products developed by company

  ### 23. A User-Friendly Test Management Tool with Great Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suraj V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

I've found Testmo to be incredibly user-friendly and quick to get started with. It handles test data very well, making it suitable for both small and large-scale projects. The interface is clean, and organizing tests is straightforward. One major plus point is it's way more affordable than some other more famous test management tools, but provides almost all their features.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I’m having trouble integrating it with Zoho Sprints—any help or guidance on this would be appreciated.Overall, it’s a great tool for managing testing efficiently.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a test management tool that is easy to use, feature rich, and affordable.

  ### 24. Comprehensive test management tool

There is less feature for connecting with automation tool

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing the tester/QA team and align with Management

  ### 25. 1y review by Element Logic

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

Easy to use. Good user interface. Intuitive to TestRail users. Good support.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

Analytics of test results is not useful enough for teams with mostly automated tests to join!
Backup is not supported via API.
There is no way to give 3rd parties access to a specific test run only. (The customer acceptance test run.)
When selecting test cases for a test run, users struggle to quickly select relevant tests. Sometimes making an impossible filter just to get a clean start.
There is no way to make a report template (e.g. with company branding.)
The configuration list is useless due to: not automatically updating on change (manual maintenance of the list) and no lookup in the dropdown dialog.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testmo is a great tool for test management for manual testing. However, it lacks useful features for automated testing.

  ### 26. Perfect service with good solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Testmo?**

I really like the good support service. Modern, fast interface. The ability to integrate with many services, and the possibilities that the service offers to solve my problems.

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

I would like to have a better API for good integration with tests. And also the ability to make a traceability matrix. In my opinion, the link between manual and automated cases is poorly designed. I understand the developers' idea, but I think a better solution would be to link automated cases directly to manual cases via CaseID.

**What problems is Testmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product solves the problem of storing test cases and automating them.

  ### 27. Testmo from TestRail

**What do you dislike about Testmo?**

Reporting funcionality is not as good as TestRail
