"A Reliable Tool for Documentation and Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Easy to share documentation across teams, The folder/hierarchy based structure is very helpful to organize the documentation. They also do provide APIs to confluence using which we can update docs automatically using Automated tools. It integrates well with other tools like Jira, which is crucial for tracking tasks and linking them to relevant documentation. We share the confluence pages to new people onboarded for them to grasp up about system, during that time they use it regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

New users or non-technical team members sometimes find Confluence a bit overwhelming. The number of features and options can feel like overkill, and it may take some time for new users to figure out how everything works. Once they become comfortable using the app, it would be faster to generate docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Team Collaboration and Centralized Knowledge"
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I like best about Confluence is how easily it allows teams to organise, share and collaborate on information in one central place. It’s intuitive, searchable, and makes documentation much more accessible across the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

While Confluence is a great tool, one thing I find challenging is that it can become cluttered over time if pages aren’t well-maintained. Without clear ownership or structure, information can become outdated or hard to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform for Knowledge Base and Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I appreciate how all SOPs and documentation are well-organised and easily searchable in a single location. Previously, we used shared drives, emails, and Google Docs, which were confusing and difficult to navigate, making it hard to find information. I use it daily for my work. One of my favourite features is real-time collaboration, which allows multiple team members to edit the same page simultaneously. The integration with other Atlassian products, such as JIRA, works seamlessly, which is fantastic since I primarily use JIRA for task management. Confluence enables me to link documents directly to the tasks I am working on, ensuring that anyone who takes on those tasks has access to the same information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Sometimes, pages load very late if they have excessive information, and searches are not always accurate. It is sometimes very hard to find the document even if you know the exact keywords. Need to search multiple times before I can find the correct document. I believe search results should be sorted based on the keywords as a priority. Other than that, everything is good. "A Game-Changer for Process Management"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I appreciate Confluence for its excellent user interface, which makes navigation intuitive and enhances the overall user experience. The platform's search functionality is particularly impressive, allowing me to effortlessly find comprehensive information on any product or process without the cumbersome process of navigating through complex directories. Information retrieval is straightforward, making it a crucial guide that informs our workflow and decision-making process. It's a platform devoid of the need for intense human intervention or any significant learning curve, enabling anyone familiar with its operations to fully utilize its capabilities. Confluence is aligned and does not cause any operation to get stuck, ensuring smooth navigation and efficient access to information. Its ease of setup, straightforward download, and immediate accessibility highlight its user-friendly nature. Confluence stands out as one of the easiest platforms to deploy, and everything about it from the interface to ease of use is perfectly designed. It's undoubtedly my go-to tool for streamlining processes and ensuring that every step of a project is on track and well-informed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

I don't have any major complaints about Confluence at the moment. Everything is working perfectly for me, and I am very happy and satisfied with the experience. However, there might be room for improvement regarding the AI functionality within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i like how easy it is to keep everything in one place for our csm team. we use confluence as a knowledge base, and it makes it simple to organize processes, training materials, and internal documentation without things getting messy. it’s straightforward to update, the search works well enough for quick lookups, and it keeps everyone on the same page without needing extra tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

it can feel a little clunky at times, especially with formatting or trying to move sections around. the editor can be slow, and some features that should be simple take more steps than expected. also, finding older content isn’t always intuitive unless it’s already well-tagged or linked. nothing major...just small frustrations that may add up...solid admining helps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best way to document and share work accross teams."
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I like most about confluence is how it helps me keep everything organized without overthinking it. It is super easy to use. No need to install anything complicated, just sign in , create a space and start writing, It is as easy to implement. You don’t need to be tech-expert to create a page, format content, or link things together. It feels like writing in a clean online notebook. It fits into most of the workflows without needing a big setup. There’s a lot packed in like templates, macros, page history, comments, permissions, integrations and much more. The help docs are very helpful, and there’s a big community around it to solve all your problems. I always refer to confluence docs when i want to understand any requirement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Sometimes it feels slow and clunky, especially when formatting tables or moving things around. Setting permissions can be confusing, and the mobile app isn’t great for editing. Search doesn’t always finds what I’m looking for unless I remember the exact page name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great knowledge hub for our team but with a slow learning curve"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Easy to set up templates help our team set up knowledge bases for our engineering team. It helps us integrate with other Atlassian apps (mainly jira service management & jira software). It helps us update code documentations and information for users, contractors, and stakeholders at a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

It can be difficult to use for smaller teams and projects in the organization. It can feel extremely overkill for simple documentation needs. For most cases its better to just use a simpler tool like notion or a larger doc file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
