What do you like best about Pinpoint?

Easy to configure and set up - implementation was a breeze. Straightforward to use - very intuitive - new users need little training on the day-to-day functionality. Allows me to manage and process candidates easily even when volumes are high. It's reliable - there is never any outage or downtime. The connected careers site managed from within the back end allows me to update my own website with new content whenever I want, making it much easier to keep it fresh and current than if I used an externally maintained website. What do you dislike about Pinpoint?

Pinpoint makes hiring incredibly smooth. Creating and managing job postings is straightforward, and the built-in recruitment marketing tools help increase applicant quality and visibility. I also appreciate how the platform organizes each stage of the interview process and provides powerful filtering options that make evaluating candidates much easier. What do you like best about Pinpoint?

The platform is extremely user friendly and the support function and team are the best I’ve experienced in the industry. They respond quickly and take on feedback, which sometimes even leads to product development.

Pinpoint started hosting spotlight webinars in 2025 to showcase development plans and roadmaps, and I’ve found these sessions both informative and genuinely valuable.

I inherited the platform from a previous team and had the option to move providers, but I’m happy to say Pinpoint hasn’t given me a reason to. Our Account Manager, the support desk, and the overall user experience have been excellent from the start.

The system architecture is strong and flexible. Our business is large and complex, with regular restructures across multiple divisions, and this tool enables me to support changing business demand in a practical, adaptable way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pinpoint?

I like that Pinpoint provides ease of access to candidates and significantly reduces unnecessary paperwork. The notifications are super helpful as they keep me updated in real time regarding correspondence that needs attention. Additionally, I find it great that I can re-book interviews and involve colleagues in roles to assist with the interview process. What do you like best about Pinpoint?

I like how Pinpoint streamlines the application and interview processes for our candidates and participants. The anonymization tools are great, aligning with our DEIJ commitments and helping to create an equitable hiring process. Pinpoint offers templates that create efficiencies for different hiring managers, and the scorecards help assess candidates while removing as much bias as possible. The ability to queue candidates for review and use scorecards are two huge highlights for me. Plus, I love that we're able to run different departments a little differently, which is really nice. The only lingering issue we're facing is that hiring managers can view all scorecards. We would prefer to have this visibility limited to only HR as a bias reduction technique. Pinpoint is a complex yet well-designed application tracking system made for advanced and beginner recruitment streams. Most importantly, Pinpoint has a great insight/data overview and simple recruitment pipeline management. Professional, sleek, and high-end feeling.

Definitely a high praise to their account management team, who take care of their clients – they actually care, listen, and try to help as much as possible. While Pinpoint is a well-designed application tracking system, it has its flaws. If there is a minor yet significant technical issue in the pipeline, automation, or data report, it takes them a considerable amount of time to resolve it. Pin Point works well for our team in the following ways:

- Templates for messages, contracts, hiring processes, job description creations, etc., are all available and easy to use

- Messaging via the platform allows it to be central and accessible to all

- Settings that allow platform accessibility to different staff

- Customer support is responsive and helpful; also, there are useful guides

- Integration with other platforms like CERTN, Zoom, Hireflix, etc. to make the hiring process more manageable and smoother

Some downsides:

- No integration with Salesforce currently exists

- Google Calendar and Zoom often disconnects from platform requiring to reconnect every now and then

I really appreciate Pinpoint’s easy-to-use software, particularly their ATS system, which allows me to move candidates through the selection process seamlessly. The software also facilitates document signing in a secure, safe, and swift manner, which is a tremendous convenience. Furthermore, I absolutely love the customer support provided by Pinpoint. It's wonderful to speak with a real person and receive answers to my queries within just a few minutes, which is the absolute best. This level of personal support has been a crucial reason for continuing to use Pinpoint. Additionally, Pinpoint helps us onboard new hires effectively, offering an efficient and secure system that stands out in our recruitment processes. I think Pinpoint could greatly benefit from integrating more AI capabilities within the system. With AI advancements becoming more prevalent, it would be beneficial to have AI agents and AI resume review integrated into Pinpoint, especially since many other platforms are adopting these features. Additionally, the initial setup process presented some challenges. Learning a new platform and its functionalities was quite difficult and time-consuming, although the assistance from a customer success manager helped mitigate these challenges.
