# Best EDI software in 2025 - expert advice needed

 Good morning, G2 community! I’m trying to find the best EDI software for my business. The category page was a good starting point, but I want to talk to experts in this community who have experience purchasing and using EDI solutions before making a final decision. I have 6 months before I need to get the replacement up and running, but I wanted to start this thread now. See my current list below.  SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI: SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI is a full-service EDI solution offering 24/7 expert support and access to over 500,000 pre-mapped trading partner connections. It automates document processing, ensures 100% compliance, and integrates seamlessly with ERP systems to streamline supply chain operations.  Cleo Integration Cloud: Cleo Integration Cloud is a cloud-based platform that unifies EDI and API integrations, providing end-to-end visibility across B2B transactions. Through a single, customizable interface, it simplifies partner onboarding, enhances exception management, and accelerates revenue-generating processes.  eZCom Software EDI: eZCom Software EDI is an enterprise-grade, cloud-based EDI platform designed for seamless integration with ERP, accounting, inventory, and WMS systems. It offers customizable solutions to optimize workflows and ensure compliance and scalability.  Orderful: Orderful is a modern EDI platform that eliminates the need for custom integrations by providing pre-built connections with trading partners. It offers a user-friendly interface for managing all EDI transactions, reducing setup times, and simplifying error handling.  AWS Transfer Family: AWS Transfer Family is a secure, fully managed service that facilitates the transfer of EDI documents using protocols like SFTP and AS2. It integrates with AWS B2B Data Interchange to automate and optimize bi-directional EDI workflows, enhancing scalability and compliance. Cleo Integration Cloud is usually strongest when the EDI requirement is part of a broader B2B integration problem - not just 'send and receive EDI,' but connect trading partners, ERP systems, warehouses, carriers, marketplaces, and internal applications with visibility into the full transaction lifecycle.

For teams comparing EDI platforms, I would look at whether the solution can handle core EDI documents such as 850s, 855s, 856s, 810s, 940s, 945s, and 214s; support protocols like AS2 and SFTP; provide mapping and transformation; and give business users visibility into failed or delayed transactions. Cleo is often a fit for companies that need EDI plus API integration, managed file transfer, trading partner onboarding, real-time monitoring, and exception resolution in one platform.

If the use case is very small and only requires a simple portal, WebEDI may be enough. If the company is scaling transaction volume, onboarding more trading partners, integrating with ERP/WMS/TMS systems, or replacing a legacy EDI tool, Cleo Integration Cloud is the better fit.
