**What do you like best about Canditech?**

Highly responsive customer support team. ChatGPT and Google Search are built into the assessment platform. Candidates can use either tool and you'll receive the transcript/search results. It also allows you to "play" written responses and watch how the candidate typed! This helps our team determine whether writing is entirely AI-generated, or primarily in their own words. Other proctoring features include location tracking (flagging when there are multiple), flagging when a candidate has copy/pasted text from another source, and tracking when candidates leave the assessment tab. It includes an accessibility plug-in with easy-to-use tools that support neurodivergent candidates and those of varying abilities (e.g. low visibility or blindness, etc.). You can create tables within assessment questions to organize information as well. It integrates with our ATS, saving us time by automating assessment emails and reminders. Also has branding capabilities and a customizable assessment landing page.

**What do you dislike about Canditech?**

We were hoping Canditech could replace a technical assessment platform we previously used when hiring Software Engineers. However, it does not come with pre-built tech questions nor the degree of detailed, automated scoring one would expect from technical assessment platforms, specifically. Users can create assessments with coding questions, but should plan to devote time to manually scoring responses, at least until its AI-scoring has been thoroughly trained.

**What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canditech allows our team to create custom assessments to evaluate candidates' knowledge and skill as part of our multi-step hiring process. Helps filter candidates, narrow our pool and saves time.

What I like most about Canditech is its ability to simulate real work scenarios in a simple, user friendly way. The platform gives a much more accurate picture of a candidate’s strengths compared to traditional interviews, and the automated insights save a lot of time while still improving hiring quality.

The tests and test platform are great for filtering candidates in interview processes. The team behind it are also extremely helpful, they will often implement product changes in days following feedback, unlike other platforms where it feels like it's going into a blackhole.

Building test using Canditech is extremely simple for both non-technical and tech oriented personas. You can either select a premade tests built for multiple positions or create one your own from scratch. Evaluating candidates is now way faster and brings much better results!

**What do you like best about Canditech?**

I have been using Canditech to help us hire social media managers and have been extremely impressed so far. Our social media managers need to have a strong understanding of various social media platforms and be able to analyze data and insights to inform our strategy, so Canditech has been very helpful in evaluating their technical skills. Also, we use the video response questions to understand the candidate's communication skills, as this is a highly collaborative role, and it's important that our social media managers can communicate effectively with our team and customers. Overall we’re very happy.

**What do you dislike about Canditech?**

Nothing significant I can think of. We really enjoy working with the Canditech team; they are very responsive and helpful.

**What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, it was really difficult coming up with our own home assignments for candidates and managing the entire hiring process - we were wasting a lot of time reviewing each project and not even evaluating the most important technical skills for the different marketing and content roles we were hiring for. Canditech has really leveled up our hiring process, and we can see the difference in the skill level of our new hires!

**What do you like best about Canditech?**

There is a very technical aspect of our customer success roles, as they work directly with our technical clients. We look for individuals that have a good mix of CSM skills along with data analysis/technical skills (even former data analysts making career changes, etc.). For candidates with technical backgrounds but not customer-facing, it is really important for us to check their communication skills. On the other hand, for candidates with client-facing backgrounds but less technical, we need to check their technical skills.

We have an internal grading rubric we use to score our candidates and we were hoping to have this rubric embedded into the candidates test reports for us to score. It hasn’t been a big deal, though, we just copy and paste our rubric with the hiring managers scores into the comments section.

We use Canditech for our financial analyst tests and we’re happy with the platform. It's been really great to be able to create a very holistic and well-rounded test with a variety of question types, as previously we were basically only testing general knowledge via multiple choice questions in Google Forms. With Canditech, we have a combination of multiple choice knowledge-based questions, actual real job scenario exercises using excel for data analysis, and video responses to get a sense of the candidates verbal communication. We also love that we were able to have 2 variations of the same test in both English and Hebrew.

Canditech has really changed the way I hire because it allows you to test candidates for technical skills AND soft skills. I love that I can utilize the different test types (in particular, the coding and SQL tests) and pair them with personality and culture fit tests. This way, I really get a feel of how the candidate will fit into the company culture. And so far, the hires that I’ve made with Canditech have been perfect. I strongly recommend using Canditech if you’re having trouble finding the right people for your team.

At this stage, I have no complaints. Canditech has all the features I need.

In the past, some employees seemed perfect on paper but weren’t actually the right fit for the team, and it took me a long time to replace them. The process of building the tests was really easy and straightforward. I didn’t need any training sessions from Canditech, I was able to play around with the platform and I actually really had fun building tests. I used their pre-made tests as inspiration for my own. The platform is clean, neat and very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Canditech?**

The tests are meant to be created as separately timed sections. Once a candidate submits a section and starts another section, they cannot go back to the previous section. If you want your candidats to have access to the entire test at once, you need to build it as 1 big section.

Canditech gave me a super quick and easy platform to build my coding tests. I really didn’t have the time to go through the training of a complicated platform, so I was specifically looking for a user-friendly and easy to use way to build tests.

As a marketing professional, we understand the importance of promoting our company culture to our candidates as we do with our customers. We place a high emphasis on our employer branding and candidate experience, which made the Canditech platform a no-brainer.  The test intro-page provided to our candidates is beautiful and allows us to add our logo, background media, “join us” video, etc. The interface really feels like an extension of our career page and allows us to truly market ourselves to the talent pool. The tests themselves that we create really provide a smooth, engaging and realisitc experience for our marketing candidates. We’re very happy.

**What do you like best about Canditech?**

We were previously using a platform that only assessed our R&D candidates’ coding and technical skills - which is important, but doesn’t allow you a full insight into who the candidate actually is. There is so much more to learn about each candidate - their communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, English language level, and even the candidate's motivation and personality to ensure they’re a good cultural fit. Canditech really took our tests to another level and I think our candidates really appreciate that we’re trying to understand them on such a deep level.

We requested Canditech to add pair-programming tests. I think it's going to be available in a few months and we’re excited about that feature.

We’re really understanding our R&D candidates on a deeper level aside from only their technical and coding skills. The quality of our hires is much greater and our candidates all reported they felt the test was a fair evaluation of their skills.

**What do you like best about Canditech?**

Canditech has been a fantastic resource for hiring our paid acquisition manager roles. We’re really able to assess our candidates on the different facets of the role, such as budgeting and data analysis skills using Excel/Google Sheet exercises, all the way to their creativity and general marketing talent. Our Canditech test is a realistic simulation of the job - our candidates analyze real-life ad data and complete exercises that are almost identical to the actual job duties.

**What do you dislike about Canditech?**

Not really a con, but you have to re-login often. They explained to me that this was for security purposes.

**What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve really made some great hires since implementing Canditech into our hiring process - I know the platform is an industry leader for marketing roles, so we’ve really been able to create fantastic tests and hire talented people.

**What do you like best about Canditech?**

The level of customizability with Canditech was really remarkable. We create a wide variety of tests to assess our client company’s candidates. Everything we imagined for the creation of these pre-employment assessments was possible: from traditional multiple-choice exercises to assess our candidates' language levels, to gamified realistic simulations to mimic interactions with clients using videos and open-text questions, we were really able to test our client’s candidates entire skill sets in any fashion we wanted. The team went above and beyond for us to help create such custom assessments.

**What do you dislike about Canditech?**

We would’ve used a feature that transcribed candidates' video responses to text. Eventually, we managed to use it without this tool, and the team claims in on their roadmap.

**What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canditech was a game changer for us in the way we are able to create such customized assessments for each of our clients’ needs, we were not able to achieve it in any other platform that we checked.

Operations roles are very specific to the company and the duties can be vastly different across industries. Using Canditech, we were able to create a very realistic day in the life of an operations manager role at our company. We utilize so many of the different question types Canditech has to offer to simulate real duties: Google Sheets to create budgets, open text questions to simulate writing emails, video responses to simulate zoom calls. These, combined with their premade sections we use to test things such as English skills, really help us to create the perfect test.

We’ve been really happy with Canditech. Obviously it would’ve been great if they had a 100% premade Operations manager test, but no platform would have exactly what we

When we were using similar excel scenarios to test our candidates, it was very time consuming to check all of their work in the excel file. Canditech has really helped me make confident hiring decisions. Prior experience or resumes are not indicative of client-facing skills. Watching our candidates give sales pitches to the camera or write emails to clients cuts out so much wasted interview time and even our resources wasted on bad hires.

**What do you dislike about Canditech?**

I liked the entire experience TBH
It took a bit time to get benchmarks of scores that we trust but we covered it prestty quickly with the help of the canditech team

**What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has always been difficult for us to hire sales roles based on previous experience. Since using Canditech, we’re really able to see if a candidate has that natural client-face ability we are looking for.

**What do you like best about Canditech?**

The thumb’s up and thumbs down feature when scoring our candidates’ tests is great and a major time saver for us. If I see the hiring manager’s thumbs up on a test (along with reading their comments), I can quickly move that candidate forward without a discussion needed internally.

**What do you dislike about Canditech?**

I wish a thumbs up would move a candidate along to the next step in our ATS.

**What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy communication internally on candidates’ tests.
