  ### 1. Good for Membership Management

**What do you like best about CSI?**

We use CSI at our Recreation facility for many things, including member management/check-in, program registration, billing, and point of sale transactions. For these purposes, CSI is straightforward to use. Once a member is entered into the system, it is easy to navigate from one function to another.

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

One of the must frustrating things about CSI is the inability to link the software to other tools we use, such as Mailchimp for email marketing or our app platform, Upace. CSI doesn't have an easy way to link to other platforms OR to directly send communications to members, especially when it comes to retention marketing. It would be nice to send targeted email/messages to members based on their engagement at the facility, but we have no streamlined way to do that without downloading huge spreadsheets and manually looking through data.

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CSI Spectrum makes it very easy and quick to enter payments and register members for programming. This is important because our front desk team has a lot of duties to do simultaneously (greet members, answer phones, etc.), so it is helpful that it is so easy to find a member in the system and get them registered quickly and accurately. If this were a long process, it would be very inconvenient for staff.

**What do you like best about CSI?**

I wish I had some positive comments about this software, but we have found nothing but issues when using it. I suppose the only positive was the price when we compared to other programs that can do the same... however in my opinion it's worth paying more.

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

It has been a very inconsistent when we use it, reports seem to result differently every time we run them and never line up with our accounting department's records to the point of us not trusting any of the recorded information in the system. It also is very cumbersome in the way you have to move between screens to access account information.

**Recommendations to others considering CSI:**

We are currently evaluating some competitors software and are looking to switch to Civic Rec. My suggestion is to trial out the software with similar companies that are using it vs other software available 

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our account management software and helps us track all our memberships and record keeping, in theory it should make record keeping easier for us and allow us to run full status reports on accounting issues and account management reports, but reports never seem to be accurate therefore we don't ever trust that we are receiving accurate info.

**What do you like best about CSI?**

I like being able to access the information of users within the software quite easily. Its really helpful for quick transactions. 

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

I dislike that it is difficult to determine if a user is linked to another user easily.  With many transactions, it's vital to know relationships and this software can make that difficult. 

**Recommendations to others considering CSI:**

Make as many notes in the system as possible in order to fully understand a clients' complete history. This will make it easier to measure and track transactions and client history. 

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problems I am solving with Daxko Spectrum are client organization and management. I have realized the need my business has for mid-sized database management, which Daxko has helped with.

**What do you like best about CSI?**

I like that I can customize my page landings to the options I use the most frequently. It’s a great tool and doesn’t have too many hiccups. 

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

Has little weird nuances, such as being able to hit enter on some pages and others that you have to hit search. 

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to take care of our members quite well!

**What do you like best about CSI?**

As mentioned by another user, it is difficult to find a positive comment.  Our company has used the software for several years & experienced countless difficulties & frustrations.

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

Not user friendly, far too labor intensive, unreliable statistical data.  Far to many actions are required by the user when doing transactions, setting up accounts, making changes, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering CSI:**

Check out all other options.  This software is far too high maintenance & most of the issues we have experienced have gone unresolved.  Statistical data is unreliable at best.

The size and scope of the program make it a wonderful resource 

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

Can be difficult to pull reports unless you have an IT manager that can generate custom queries

Once we are able to generate the report, they are extremely detailed and full of info

**What do you like best about CSI?**

I like that the operations of this system are pretty self explanatory. You don't have to troubleshoot for hours just to figure out the task you are trying to perform. 

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

I do not like that sometimes this operational system runs slow. I don't know if it's a problem on my end but I have noticed at times it will lag. 

**Recommendations to others considering CSI:**

Take your time and explore all of the functions of this program. There are a lot of hidden features that are very beneficial, but you don't know that they are there until you play around and try out some new things. 

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this software in my YMCA to handle all aspects of registrations for programs and memberships. It is great for organizing members and all of their information., It also has a great accounting counter-part.

I love that you can literally do anything on it. You can do anything from point of sale, to facility management, to employee clock-in and clock-outs. 

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

I dislike that one of the toughest things about Daxko is the "behind the scenes" work. It takes a lot to correctly configure the software for what you want it to do. 

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daxko is great for being an all encompassing software, so you don't really need to buy any other software.

**What do you like best about CSI?**

I like that you can track all of your activity & it helps you stay on top of your prospect calls. This software also helps you create daily call sheets to help you stay on track & organized. 

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

I dislike that you cannot schedule a follow up call for members. I also dislike that there is no spell check & that you cannot go back in to edit a note. Only select employees can do that.

**What do you like best about CSI?**

Spectrum is organized well. Easy to use menu, many functions.

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

The software isn't tailored specifically to our gym setting and makes some functions very difficult to use. I wish the software was a little more flexible.

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to provide gym members with many more answers than a more basic system. I am able to communicate with the business office more fluidly.

**What do you like best about CSI?**

It is pretty user friendly and quick to learn for the most part. It is used for checking in members, allowing them to sign up for classes, payroll, membership account maintenance and more.

**What do you dislike about CSI?**

 There have been many things that i have come across that we are told just isn't possible with the software. Simple things such as linking it with our app to be able to cancel members from classes the same way that they sign up and being able to send an email receipt after a transaction has previously  occurred. Also, another frustrating thing this product is that they do not sync well with our ADP payroll. They do not allow certain types of payments to employees on the graph/scheduling system to overlap or be modified easily. 

**Recommendations to others considering CSI:**

Work with companies quicker when new releases and updates are out to help get the new bugs and problems fixed. 

**What problems is CSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this at our health club and it is beneficial for checking in members and keeping their profiles maintained. We use it for retail and membership sales as well.
