Outlook is great for me because it integrates with the rest of the Microsoft environment like Teams and the M365 suite. It’s very easy to schedule meetings and the main feature, sending and receiving emails, has been really perfected over all of this time. They keep adding new features and integrations, so it’s constantly improving. I’m so used to it now that it’s like 2nd nature to use all of its tools and features. I think there are a few features missing from the new version of Outlook (such as the voting buttons for emails) that were in the old version. Some of these features were replaced with new ones (in the case of the voting buttons we now have polls), but I think they still have some work to do in order to get the new Outlook up to where the old one was. Notifications are painfully slow — New Outlook can take over 10 seconds just to open an email from a notification. Mail Merge is weak, and a lot of "new" features barely work if you're not on a Microsoft-hosted mailbox. Honestly, Classic Outlook still feels more reliable overall. It’s well organized and works great in a work environment. The best part is that it works with Microsoft 365, which is helpful in so many ways. The only downside I’m facing right now is the notification badge. While I’m at work, it’s important to have the badge because it clearly shows how many emails are pending. What I like most about Microsoft Outlook is that it's simple, organized, and easy to use. While Microsoft Outlook is a great email platform overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. Seriously, if I have to talk about the best thing about Outlook, it’s its interface. It feels very Gen Z. Apart from that, I think it’s far better than Gmail. It provides more options than Gmail and has more features. In our college, all emails are created on Outlook, and it makes it easy to mark important things. What i feel the thing that I dislike about the ui ux is it's interface feel cluttered mainly with reading paneer and folders , finding some email take more clicks than expected . Apart from this the its connects with most microsoft apps but it's non integration with some non microsoft apps feels less seamless . Performance - outlook feels slow when loading large mail boxes , many advanced features are tied up with Microsoft 365 which cause it more expensive for student . I use it daily to stay connected and updated at work. Few things I like most are:

- I got all audit updates, quality scores, rosters and KPI's directly in my inbox.

- Can directly raise complaints and suggestions to higher authorities through work mail.

- Calendar helps me track sessions and meetings easily.

- Search and Filters make finding old mails and reports quick and easy.

It is a comprehensive email and productivity platform that brings email management, calendar scheduling, contacts, and task tracking into a single application. From a performance perspective, Outlook handles large mailboxes efficiently. I have been using Outlook for the last 2.5 years, and I can still access my old emails from when I started as an intern at my current company.

Microsoft Teams is a powerful and feature-rich platform, but there are a few areas where I think there’s room for improvement based on my day-to-day experience.

I feel the email organization could be improved, because it becomes difficult to work with multiple folders, shared mailboxes, and long email threads. Important messages can sometimes get buried within conversations, which makes it challenging to quickly locate key information. Additionally, managing large email chains with multiple participants can feel overwhelming, particularly when conversations stretch across several days or weeks.

Another frustration is the occasional synchronization delay between devices. Many times, I receive an immediate notification on my mobile but see a delay on my laptop. I have integrated microsoft outlook with new relic alerts receiving channel. Our organization is also using Microsoft 365 for business communication. Best part is ontime and fast delivery of messages. Different kinds of category based images are properly formatted and designed while we read or open any emails. Features like flag, colour based category, mark aa important, directly send email to teams through simple shortcuts auto filtering of phising and suspicious messages, schedule based delivery, adding different addons for daily to daily activities to save time. Switching to Microsoft's other apps like to do, onderive, calender is quite simple and user-friendly. Also supports many third part addons and many other features which I like most. What we appreciate most about Microsoft Outlook is that it keeps email communication, scheduling, and calendar management together in a single platform. Since most of our internal and external communication still happens through email, having direct access to calendars, meeting invitations, contacts and tasks helps keep daily work organized without jumping between multiple applications.
