If you are working with cloud this is best option for sharing the files **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** Egnyte plateform does not take files more than 15gb or above. And nothing more bad about egnyte as it is secure and user friendly. This platform is growing day by day and it is going to be more better in the near future. **What problems is Egnyte solving and how is that benefiting you?** As it is user friendly you can access files very easily on any platform and locations. We can share files online by purchasing server space and easily upload and download files. It allows sharing any kind of file formats. By using this, we can also secure the files and store them for record purposes, and send the link of a particular folder so another person can access and download the files. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** There is nothing to dislike about Egnyte software, but it can be improved more like the BIM 360 online platform, which may help in its growth as well. Overall, it's quite a good thing to use. **What problems is Egnyte solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sometimes we share files with our clients. For that, we upload the files on Egnyte and create a folder link, which we then share with them so they can access and download the files. We use this as a file transfer protocol. It's one of the best security after sharing the file **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** Sorting documents is a bit lacking sometimes when I want simply search for the most recent document of any file time within a number of subfolders. It's a bit pricey. It offers a smooth, efficient and reliable user experience. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** What I have found to be a slight inconvenience about Egnyte is that it lacks multiple shortcuts. Instead of having to use my mouse to click on individual buttons, it would provide for a faster experience if shortcuts/key bindings were introduced. **What problems is Egnyte solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the most basic level, Egnyte helps with file storing and accessibility within the organization. However, I also use it to effectively share large files externally that are well secured, encrypted and only accessible to those I give access to. I also really like being able to see multiple versions of one file without clogging the entire folder with different file names (version 1, version 2, final, final final and etc). ### 18. This astonishing product helps me in saving my sales proposals so conveniently. It saves much of our precious time. Love its cloud storage ability is the most effective. It let us access data quickly from both phone as well as desktop. Its ability of allowing us to back up data is astonishing indeed. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** I would say this is absolutely wonderful software because it keeps us connected all the time. Great security, great accessibility of all types of files. The folks that work for their sales and support staff are very helpful. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** I am not sure that I was able to discern what advantage they could give over their competition, most companies that offer cloud based storage and file access, offer excellent security and lots of storage and users. I just didn't really see the advantage for the price. **Recommendations to others considering Egnyte:** It is expensive given what it provides. There may be some advantages that I didn't see, but if you are considering, you should push back on your sales rep to differentiate themselves from other services that might not be a centric to the construction industry, but provide similar products. Push back because at a midsize company a lot of what is offered by Egnyte can be handled in-house if done correctly, so don't be afraid to ask. We did, but didn't find their argument convincing, but that was specific to our case. **What problems is Egnyte solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are not currently using Egnyte, tested but didn't implement due to cost prohibitive pricing. The solution would have been used for cloud storage of data, but there are just other options out there that are less expensive. ### 24. Also uploading large and bulky files on egnyte takes alot of time and creates some troubles as it is time consuming. It is difficult to have a mass permission to multiple folders. Egnyte is fast, powerful, reliable, and most importantly EASY to use and understand. It is by far the most straightforward system I have used. The beauty is in the simplicity, which saves countless labor-hours of training. Highly recommend this product. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** For my purposes, there is nothing about Egnyte that I don't like. **Recommendations to others considering Egnyte:** Consider how much training will be required of your end-users for whichever system you select. Because the file structure of Egnyte is so familiar to the vast majority of Windows & Mac OS users, the training required will likely be minimal. **What problems is Egnyte solving and how is that benefiting you?** The greatest benefit is the time savings. I can navigate the folders and access records at a pace unrivaled by any other system I have used. ### 47.
