**What do you like best about Loxo?**

I find Loxo incredibly helpful for my daily recruitment needs. The ease of navigation is a significant advantage. I really appreciate the automated AI emails, which allow me to save email templates and avoid retyping them over and over. Moving candidates' profiles to their respective submission stages is seamless with the drag-and-drop feature, which I believe is the best part. The reporting feature is simple and straightforward. I especially love the Loxo extension because I can add profiles from LinkedIn to Loxo ATS and tag them to relevant jobs efficiently. Additionally, when I submit a candidate, Loxo automatically sends them a confirmation email, and incorporating links to our company's review page is a nice touch that encourages more feedback from candidates.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

That staged automated emails, there should be option to enable it only if user wants to and not automatically enable to all candidates and then go in each profiles to turn that off. Also the Loxo extension is sometimes laggy and takes a lot of time to fetch candidates profile information like contact details, also if by mistake we switch the tabs will have to refresh the page for candidate and retry fetching details using extension.

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

I like Loxo for its incredibly simple and user-friendly interface. It's exceptionally easy to edit and modify, which makes navigating and getting the information I need just a couple of clicks away. I also enjoy the ease of setting up customized workflows and tagging, which allows my team to organize our processes efficiently. Additionally, the initial setup was a breeze, and the help bot along with customer service quickly resolved any questions we had.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

The reporting leaves a lot to be desired. Even though it's actually improved quite a bit since I became a user several years ago, about two thirds of the more complex KPIs that we need to track, especially for business development, are missing. It doesn't really function as a true CRM, so when it comes to managing the sales process, we have to keep track of that outside of Loxo.

Loxo keeps us organized with work status and serves as a database for potential prospects.

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

I like that everything in Loxo is fully integrated and user-friendly, making processes like emails, outreach, updating and sourcing candidates fast and easy. It's great that everything is on one screen instead of using multiple apps and websites. The platform saves me time and budget as I'm not wasting money on massive job boards and advertising anymore, since I can do my headhunting more effectively with Loxo and its sourcing tool. The user-friendliness makes life much easier since I don't have to contact support for everything, though the support is great if needed. The integration allows setting up outreach searches and tasks outside regular hours, which is super helpful as I recruit across multiple time zones. The setup was quite easy and smooth; they organised my first onboarding session right away, and the team was always available. The technical side and integrations with phone and email worked well, and adjustments could be made easily according to my needs. Overall, Loxo has been more user-friendly, lighter, and tech-integrated with AI and advanced tools, saving me money by replacing expensive sourcing platforms.

One of my favorite features is the way Loxo consolidates all communication in one place. Texts, emails, and call recordings are all tracked within the platform, which makes it incredibly easy to stay on top of outreach and pick up right where a colleague left off.

The platform does not allow you reliably search a candidate by their phone number.

The organization aspect is another huge win. Everything lives in one place, which keeps the team aligned and eliminates the chaos that comes with scattered tools and spreadsheets.

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

Loxo has been my go-to recruitment platform for five years and counting, its intuitive design keeps me coming back daily. The clean, drag-and-drop interface makes managing candidates effortless, while built-in automation and AI tools streamline outreach and sourcing. It's a powerful, user-friendly system that evolves with my workflow—no steep learning curve, just consistent, efficient results. Customer support is quick and reliable and has solved occasional issues. The platform is easy to implement my recruiting efforts using SMS, email, social media which integrates directly to candidate profiles.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

The IoS app for the phone is clunky and needs an update.  The platform on the computer is great but I would like to be able to use the app more.

Organizing candidates and importing them into the pltform and tracking them through the hiring process.

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

The slick interface is good, the ATS and (Kanban) structure of the job page is very good. The way it uploads CSV is great and many features are well thought through and slick,

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

The lack of distinction between Contacts and Candidates, and the lack of a way to capture different data for Contacts. There are custom fields, but these simply do not work well enough and every "Person" looks like a Candidate. This is a BAD idea overall - Contacts are different and the system should reflect that and be able to show different info. Even as far colour coding should be different ie. blue for Contacts, Yellow for Candidates.

**What problems is Loxo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't think Loxo are focusing on solving the key problem I and most small businesses like me have.... winning new clients. Loxo is totally focused on the very easy part, the part which does't need any automation, any NLP or anything technical to do... search for and manage candidates.  There are no candidates to search for if you don't have clients and businesses are going out of business because they can't get new clients, and I am building my own CRM to get around the failings of Loxo and almost all CRM's I've ever come across. You do the easy part well, but there seems to be no focus on the hard part.

It's layout is great, easy to figure out where to navigate to.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

Their data sucks. They say they have this great candidate sourcing tool, but if you don't have the right email or phone, you're not going to get in touch with the candidates. They charge you when they look up this data for you, AND they don't give you a credit when the phone number is wrong.

**What problems is Loxo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only solution that Loxo is solving is keeping our jobs straight and the candidates we have submitted to their jobs. 

For candidate sourcing, we use Pin because Loxo's data is so poor. For biz dev, we use Apollo again because their data is poor and Apollo has far better features.

It is an easy product to use, with a lot of features, but it's definitely a jack of all trades, but master of none. 

I would recommend getting better data and figuring out their search first. They need to master that to keep people from migrating off their product when the contract is up.

- Clean UX/UI that hides sensitive data like phone/email on the people list, keeping it secure and tidy
- Convenient bulk email, customizable workflows, and dashboards
- Extension that loads/refreshes LinkedIn data easily
- Strong integrations: website, email (delivery status + attachments), calendar, Seek/LinkedIn Recruiter
- Loxo can serve as a true one-stop service platform, reducing the need for extra integrations

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

- No dark mode, which would help reduce eye strain
- SMS Sender ID (ASID) not yet supported for Thailand, limiting professional communication
- Some UX/UI changes make workflows harder: split private/work email fields (single field was simpler), target salary field clutters candidate profiles, activity logging would be more useful on the right-hand side instead of “Meetings”
- Company page could be more powerful: show contract status, unified activity log across users, overdue follow-up alerts, and auto-pinned frequent contacts
- Support would be better with email/phone options in addition to in-app chat, along with clearer training and more detailed updates whenever new functions or features are released
- Mobile application should be developed to work as smoothly and easily as the web version

Loxo solves the problem of scattered candidate data and manual workflows by centralizing everything in one platform. This saves us hours each week, reduces the need for multiple external tools, and makes team collaboration and performance monitoring much easier.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

They make lots of changes that make the product worse or harder to use, most of which make no sense.
Despite what they tell you, they do make small changes that they don't tell you about, and if you are using that particular part of the product, it's incredibly frustrating. 
The changes they make and even some new features are clearly not proofread by recruiters, and so don't make sense most of the time. For example, the Client Portal. It used to be that both you and the hiring manager could leave comments in the same place on the portal, without having to navigate to any other part of the portal. Ease of communication is obviously the bit that clients and consultants care about the most. So Loxo changed so that the consultant and the hiring manager had to leave comments in different parts and could only review them in different parts, separately. Why?! Why change something that works with something that doesn't? And even in the brand new client portal, they haven't fixed that issue!
Or even the email automations, you used to be able to turn them off for a job when you created the job. Now you can't, and they have to go on every job, unless the admin makes a change in the settings. Ridiculous change. Why do it?!
Neither example was communicated; I found out about the client portal from a client asking why it didn't work anymore - enough said.

It does the basic logging of candidates against jobs and moving them through the process very well.

Loxo's format addresses my challenges regarding staying organized when working multiple roles at a time. Given the platform and the ability to drill in at the job > candidate level is the biggest benefit to my day-to-day role. In addition, with our former CRM tool, reporting was a premium feature that hardly falls into feasible pricing for a SMB or start-up firm. With Loxo, I don't have to compromise on features. You get access to everything which I love. The way Loxo has enabled it's platform, it doesn't just benefit me as a recruiter, it actually benefits our candidate experiences as well.

Using Loxo has really helped me stay organized and work faster when hiring. I like how everything is in one place — I can track candidates, send emails, and manage jobs without switching between tools. 

Furthermore, it saves me a lot of time. The search filters are great, the layout is simple, and the automation features make follow-ups super easy. It’s also very user-friendly, even if you’re not very tech-savvy.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

Sometimes it takes a bit longer to load certain pages. For instance, when I am importing contacts using the Loxo extension- it freezes up sometimes. But overall, it works really well.

**What problems is Loxo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Loxo, managing candidates felt messy — I had to use different spreadsheets for tracking, emailing, and scheduling. Loxo brings everything together in one place, which makes the whole recruitment process smoother and faster. It helps me find the right people quicker, stay on top of communication, and keep my pipeline organized without feeling overwhelmed. It’s made my workflow much more efficient and less stressful.

The search functionality can occasionally return results that aren’t as targeted as we’d like. I’d also love to see more branding customisation for the client portal and improved flexibility around reporting layouts.

Loxo has solved the problem of working across multiple disconnected systems. Before, we had to juggle separate tools for sourcing, CRM, ATS, and outreach — which was inefficient and increased the risk of errors or missed opportunities. Now, everything is in one place, which means we spend less time on admin and more time engaging with candidates and clients. The AI sourcing tool has improved our speed to shortlist, and the integrated CRM helps us track relationships more effectively, which is crucial in retained search. It’s also given us better visibility across our pipeline and improved collaboration within our team.

Loxo has a lot of functionality within that one central platform. It makes it much easier to package the CRM and ATS features without needing to pull on other resources. It is fairly easy to navigate and set up and we use it daily.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

Loxo is on the pricier side so if you are not going to use it to the fullest of it's capabilities, it might make more sense to check out other options. Email deliverability isn't always great, so it's helpful to resync regularly.

Loxo centralizes everything we need in one platform which makes it easier to track candidates and clients.

I like that it's a CRM with all of our candidates, we use it as our "Source of Truth." But, along with that it has so many other capabilities like Sourcing, Outreach Campaigns, etc.

There are some requested things that would work really well for our organization that haven't been implemented yet, or other changes get made that impact our work flow and don't affect us in a positive way.

**What problems is Loxo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we have someone out on vacation, someone can easily come in and cover for them because all of the information is in one place. Using Loxo contact information we are able to reach out to candidates through various different communication channels. We are using our own database more than ever to continue to keep in touch with candidates and consider them for multiple openings that we have.

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

Loxo has always been a company that seeks to push the dial and find out what are the latest trends to better the experience for their users. I can say with confidence that it has been a joy to use their product year in and year out! I would highly recommend them for any size company. They aren't doing too much and are always seeking feedback to improve. Great product!

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

I would say the only areas where I can see Loxo improve would be their interface. Sometimes it can be and act a little dated. The features are great but if three could be some updated interface things, that would be amazing!

Their database is solving efficiencies by helping us connect with the best candidates! Thair Loxo AI feature is my favorite for sourcing!

I love how I can see each candidate in a large view and move them from stage to stage seamlessly! This is a visual that all recruiters wish they had! I can source right in Loxo and see if any of the candidates in my database are a fit.  The Loxo extension is extremely useful when adding or update contact information. It's quick and easy to text through the system.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

Sometimes my emails sent through the system end up in spam to a gmail address.

**What problems is Loxo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loxo makes the visual learning recruiter and makes it easy for you to understand and visualize your pipeline and where everything stands. This makes a huge difference for me. Quick reports visuals and data is really easy through Loxo, as well.

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

As an agency recruiter, I've used several ATS platforms, and Loxo has truly stood out in many ways. The implementation team was outstanding — they were supportive, responsive, and made onboarding feel seamless. One of my favorite features is the built-in support chatbot. I was a little skeptical at first, but it has consistently been clear, helpful, and easy to follow, offering multi-step instructions anytime I run into a question.

The user experience (UX) is another major highlight. The interface is clean, modern, and intuitive, which makes navigating the system feel effortless. I also love how searchable everything is — it's quick and easy to find candidates, jobs, or contacts whenever I need them. Loxo’s functionality overall is excellent and makes daily recruiting tasks more efficient and organized.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

That said, there are a few areas I'd love to see improved. I don’t love that candidates can only be submitted through the "Jobs" portal — it would be much more convenient if there were an option to submit directly from the candidate’s profile. Also, while the core platform is strong, I wish Loxo had more integrations with tools I already use, like Apollo and my phone provider. Their partnerships and integrations are a bit limited compared to some other ATS platforms.

**What problems is Loxo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform centralizes everything — from storing resumes and submitting candidates to scheduling interviews — all in one easy-to-use system. I especially love the automations that keep candidates engaged throughout every step of the process without me having to manually follow up each time. It saves me time, keeps candidates warm, and makes sure no one slips through the cracks. Loxo streamlines my workflow so I can focus more on building relationships and making great placements.

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

After using Profile CRM for 23 years in my recruitment business and replacing it with Loxo, we are absolutely delighted with the results!  

We love the fact that all the data is constantly updated and interactive within the whole platform.  The ability to use the Loxo Chrome extension to add candidates to the database directly from LinkedIn is also very helpful.  

The BD facility within Loxo which enables you to set up email campaigns to both candidates and companies is also greatly beneficial!  Following a brilliant catch-up call with a member of your team Jackii Aitken, I was able to set up an email reach out campaign to a list of candidates using the sourcing facility within Loxo and this resulted in a £21,000 fee!!! 

I would highly recommend Loxo to any recruitment/search business seeking an interactive CRM system that delivers ROI!

**What do you like best about Loxo?**

I've been using Loxo for about 18+ months. There is a steep learning curve because of AI. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing; Loxo continuously updates the system, which is a positive development. 
However, it does require concentration to absorb the changes and determine the best way to utilize them. 
The ability to create email campaigns within the program appears to be improving.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

No phone numbers and rarely do they provide reliable email addresses.

**What problems is Loxo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I bought it about a year ago to replace another ATS because this one appeared to be an all in one. 
What it does: 
Loxo source: sourcing is average but I still like the way it finds people and allows me to add to one job or multiple jobs or lists. 
Their soucing phones #'s for us is significantly lower than a year ago when I signed up. 
It's no secret you will buy an add -on product that will interface with Loxo.

Its keeps me organized for each job I'm working on, my deal pipeline, and most importantly makes it easy to import candidate information from LinkedIn. I love integration with LinkedIn - it's incredibly easy to keep your candidates up to date and displayed clearly. I'm also a big fan of the email campaigns - both in terms of how easy it is to set up and email all your contacts, and the advantages of using a multi-stage campaign.

Nothing really. There are some features I don't personally have a need for, but I can see how they'd be great for other recruiters. Tailored packages are available to ensure you get the features you need, which is really helpful.

Some CRMs I've worked with in the past are slow, clunky, too many steps to perform certain tasks, difficult to get the coding a you'd like it, and not great to look at. Loxo solves all of this.

The promise of having a robust resource with sourcing, ATS, CRM all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Loxo?**

There are a number of things that are leading to me leaving Loxo mid-year, even though I am on the hook for a full year of payments. Things I wish I had known:

Sourcing tool is not relevant to my industries. And it is finicky - even during a training they faciliated to try to get me to stay - a major company was not in their sourcing database because the name was misspelled. It is very much less effective than I had hoped. I'm willing to say some of this is my own usage - but it's just not what I hoped it would be. 

Client Portal. Is not password protected and I need it to be. It has rigidity to the structure that frustrated me. It is unusable for me. 

Application Form. You cannot adjust this or modify this in the way I need to. You can add forms - but not in a way that worked for me. For instance, you cannot make a note like "upload a resume and cover letter" in front of the box where applicants upload materials. 

EEO Form. They do offer an EEO form that has protections for the data - BUT - it does not match the US federal form, and you cannot change it. It is unusable for me. 

Customer Service. They sold me on this and said that they beat the competition on this front. And yet I was often disappointed with things like a 36 hour wait time. 

Cost. Sure it's a good investment if all the component parts work. But when I can't use the application form, the EEO tool, the client portal, and I don't get what I need from sourcing... well, that's a waste of a substantial amount of money! 

Individual trainers and folks were nice and tried to make it work, but I wish I had known all of this before. Plus, my staff that I've brought on just finds other systems much more intiutive. We are at the point of needing to add a seat so we are moving to a different system and just eating the cost of the rest of the year with loxo. It's not cheap! So really make sure it works for you before you confirm.

I have an executive search firm and hoped Loxo would support us in sourcing, recruiting, and managing business development.

We have unique requirements and the Loxo team was able to easily accommodate.  I will refer this product to my network of recruiter friends.

Only downside is the lack of a robust email tool that can accept templates for outreach.  I have faith this feature that will be added sooner than later!

Very poor sales CRM with zero mobile functionality, not able to export contacts or candidates easily, poor email capabilities (unsafe sender settings for bulk outreach), and phone integrations are pretty useless. Not many native integrations. Also, wish we could message more directly through linkedin or do some sort of multichannel outreach.
