## NetSuite Reviews
 ### 1. Easy Navigation, Strong Integrations, and Amazing NetSuite Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca S. | Operations Coordinator & Customer Service Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

Integrations, the finance tracking for every job, the navigation throughout Netsuite is pretty easy (once you get going). The support we have had on getting into and using Netsuite has been amazing.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

One of the harder things at my job is when we put a job into Miter we have to wait until the next morning before it will show up in our other system. There is not much I dislike about Netsuite, so far. It has been working great since we got it. Learning it has taken a little bit. The mock cases we went through helped discover any issues we were having.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When doing the mock cases we were able to go through different screens throughout Miter. Having done them and going back in now has benefited the whole company. I do not know all the issues we went through, but they were all put into Miter as we did the mock cases. It has helped us with tracking jobs so much.

 ### 2. Flexible for Complex Operations, but a Tedious and Clunky UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen G. | Accounting Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I think NetSuite is a strong fit for complex business operations, and it gives a lot of flexibility to tailor it to how a business actually works, including connecting with outside vendors and syncing business data. That saves a lot of time. That's about where the positivity ends.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

While NetSuite is undoubtedly powerful for complex global operations, the daily user experience is hindered by an unintuitive, rigid UI and significant performance hurdles. Routine tasks often feel like tedious chores rather than streamlined workflows.

Key areas for improvement:

Inflexible Search & Navigation: The Global Search and Saved Search functions lack the agility of modern software. Designing a transaction search is a "needle in a haystack" exercise that often yields overwhelming, unfiltered results. Furthermore, the search is incredibly unforgiving; a single misspelling returns zero results rather than helpful suggestions.

Performance & Data Export Issues: The system can be sluggish when processing large datasets. A major pain point is exporting the General Ledger for auditors; the system often struggles with high transaction volumes, requiring significant "finagling." We frequently have to manually piece data together in Excel to ensure everything ties back, which defeats the purpose of an automated ERP.

High Technical Barrier: The learning curve is exceptionally steep. Performing basic data imports or setting up essential transaction searches requires either specialized internal expertise, hours spent googling or asking AI (and hoping it gets it right) or expensive outside consultants. This reliance on third-party scripting for basic business needs highlights a major gap in out-of-the-box user-friendliness.

Misaligned AI Integration: The current AI tools feel disconnected from practical daily needs. While they offer high-level financial interpretation, they fail to assist with "on-the-ground" friction points like navigating features, building reports, or simplifying data movement. When it takes hours of manual setup to move data in or out, and make sure you don't break anything, the platform's complexity begins to cost more in labor time than it saves in automation.

There are also better packages out there for billing and payments that work much smoother and easier than Netsuite. We integrate those instead.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite serves as our primary centralized source of truth for complex, inventory and sales business processes. By consolidating our accounting and operational data into a single platform, it eliminates the need for multiple disparate systems and provides the foundation for complex financial reporting.

However, while the software "solves" the problem of data fragmentation, the measurable benefits are often offset by high manual overhead and the cost of maintaining the system by hiring outside programmers to keep the integrations working properly.

 ### 3. Powerful, Highly Customizable ERP—But the Learning Curve and Docs Can Be Tough

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan D. | Website Manager, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

As the Website Manager at BoxoUSA, I interact with NetSuite primarily as our central source of truth for inventory and product data. I feel that it is an incredibly powerful ERP system. While our operations team handles the financials, I rely heavily on its robust inventory management capabilities.

I specifically like how deep the customizations go with saved searches and workflows. I use custom saved searches daily to pull accurate SKU data, pricing tiers, and stock levels so I can ensure our e-commerce storefronts are perfectly aligned. Their new AI integration has also been a great addition, making it much easier to learn how to build complex queries and navigate the platform efficiently. Finally, the support is top-notch; if I ever hit a snag pulling product data for the website, I can easily jump on a live chat or open a ticket directly within the system.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

No single person can know everything about NetSuite; it’s simply too vast of a system. As a Website Manager, I find it difficult to navigate the Suite Answers pages when I’m looking for specific instructions on how to adjust inventory data fields or e-commerce sync settings. Without proper training, it’s easy to pull the wrong product data.

It also feels like many of the features or settings you’d want aren’t located where you would expect them to be. There isn’t one central place to enable a feature for product listings; instead, settings can be tucked away in obscure parts of the platform. I really wish there were an AI chat assistant I could ask questions to directly from any page to help me find the specific website-related data I need.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we fully integrated NetSuite with our e-commerce stack, our team struggled with keeping our Shopify Plus storefront perfectly aligned with actual warehouse inventory, which occasionally led to overselling out-of-stock items.

As the Website Manager, NetSuite solves this by acting as our single source of truth for all product data. We now automatically sync all product details and live inventory counts directly from NetSuite to Shopify Plus. This ensures our online catalog is always perfectly accurate, completely eliminating the need for manual stock updates on the website and saving me several hours of administrative work each week.

 ### 5. Powerful Yet Pricey ERP with Integration Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeanette C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like that NetSuite tracks all of our transactions and products sold. I've learned to create scripts that allow me to get dashboards and data out of NetSuite. Using cloud features has been the most helpful because it lets me see under the hood. Once we went live and started working with ACS, the internal NetSuite consulting team, our experience improved significantly.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

As a startup, if you add multiple modules that you do not end up using in the future, there's no way to remove them. If you remove them, you cannot lower the contract value. So I would start with what you actually need and then add on as you go. Don't buy into the bundle because if you don't need something in the future, you will be stuck with it forever, and the value of the contract will never go down. The initial setup was very difficult. We hired a consulting firm to do it for us, and they were terrible, which made the experience unpleasant. We paid for a whole year before we even went live. It's a very expensive product to go an entire year without using it.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite tracks all our transactions and products sold. I've learned to create scripts for dashboards and data, which is helpful for seeing what is happening.

 ### 6. Powerful All-in-One Reporting and Inventory, but Complex and Costly to Implement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitchell O. | VP Of Sales and Acquisition, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

NetSuite has been an invaluable platform for centralizing our business operations across inventory, accounting, and reporting. What stands out most is the depth and accuracy of the real-time reporting, which gives us a complete financial picture at any given moment without having to pull data from multiple disconnected systems. The inventory management capabilities are particularly strong, allowing us to track stock levels, manage purchase orders, and forecast demand in a way that keeps our operations running efficiently. Having accounting, inventory, and reporting all living in one platform has eliminated a significant amount of manual reconciliation and data entry that used to create errors and slow down our close process. The customization options for dashboards and reports also mean we can surface exactly the metrics that matter most to our team without wading through irrelevant data. For a business operating across ecommerce and multiple channels, having NetSuite as the financial and operational backbone gives us the confidence that our numbers are accurate and up to date.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

NetSuite's biggest drawback is the complexity and cost of implementation and customization. Out of the box it requires significant configuration to fit your specific business needs, and that almost always means relying on either internal technical resources or expensive outside consultants to get it set up properly. The user interface, while functional, feels dated compared to more modern platforms and can be unintuitive for new users, which makes onboarding and training more time consuming than it should be. Reporting is powerful but building custom reports can be cumbersome and often requires more technical knowledge than the average user has. The licensing and add-on cost structure can also be difficult to predict as the business grows, since many features that feel essential are gated behind additional modules. These friction points are manageable given the overall value NetSuite provides, but they are real enough that they add to the total cost of ownership beyond just the subscription fee.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite solves the core problem of having financial and operational data scattered across multiple disconnected systems. Before consolidating onto NetSuite, reconciling inventory levels with accounting records and generating accurate reports required pulling data from separate tools and doing a lot of manual work to make it all line up, which was both time consuming and prone to errors. NetSuite brought all of that into a single source of truth, meaning our inventory, accounts, and reporting are always in sync without any manual intervention. The biggest benefit has been the improvement in financial accuracy and the speed at which we can close our books and generate reports, which gives leadership better visibility into business performance and supports faster, more confident decision making. From an inventory standpoint, having real time visibility into stock levels integrated directly with our financials means we can manage purchasing and cash flow more strategically. Overall NetSuite has removed a significant amount of operational overhead and given our team the reliable data infrastructure needed to support growth across our ecommerce and wholesale channels.

 ### 7. NetSuite Streamlined Our Purchasing and Inventory Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Latosha A. | Purchasing Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

NetSuite offers a wide range of valuable features that have significantly improved our operations. Since transitioning to this software about five years ago, the experience has been highly positive. In my role within purchasing and inventory management, the system has greatly streamlined my workflow for example, having real-time access to inventory levels and purchasing data allows me to make faster, more accurate decisions without switching between multiple tools. Additionally, the centralized dashboard and automated processes reduce manual data entry and save me several hours each week, enabling me to focus on more strategic tasks.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Certain processes, like generating reports or running searches, can be slower than ideal, particularly with large datasets. These challenges don’t outweigh the benefits, but they can impact efficiency in day-to-day use.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite solves several key challenges in purchasing and inventory management by centralizing data and automating critical processes. Instead of relying on multiple systems or manual tracking, it provides real-time visibility into inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier information all in one place. This eliminates guesswork and reduces the risk of errors such as over-ordering or stockouts.

For me, this has made a significant impact on efficiency and accuracy. I can quickly assess what needs to be ordered, track incoming shipments, and manage inventory without switching between tools or spreadsheets. The automation of routine tasks like order creation and reporting also saves time and reduces manual data entry, allowing me to focus more on planning and decision-making rather than administrative work.

 ### 8. Flexible and Integrative, But Complex Setup for Mid-Sized Businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad W. | Supply Chain & Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2022

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like how flexible NetSuite is and how you can interact with it. It's getting easier and easier to connect it with other platforms, whether out of the box or paid services, or using the AI models. We have been able to connect different ways, like an Apple Shopify connection with third party Selena, Floj connecting our POS Square, and using ShipStation for generating labels, all done by CSV. That's the flexibility of those with some of the tools.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Some of the modules seem like they were an afterthought or built in, which isn't great. The language and safe search features aren't always clear, and there are limitations in setup that just aren't obvious. This kind of hidden knowledge is frustrating. Knowing that NetSuite is primarily a general ledger would have been helpful and saved us time. The initial setup was really challenging because we didn't have any on-site IT experts, and the consultants weren't much help. We had to manually handle a lot of processes, which was tedious. Also, moving to a web store with a user-friendly interface was harder than we thought, so we ended up using Shopify instead of SuiteCommerce.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite is our financial source, handling accounts and transactions like assembly bills. It's flexible, allowing CSV uploads and integration with platforms, enhancing our sales process.

 ### 9. All-in-One, Scalable NetSuite ERP with Powerful Customization and Real-Time Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai Vamsi J. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

What I like best about NetSuite is that it provides a complete, cloud-based ERP solution that brings together finance, order management, inventory, and reporting in a single platform. This helps reduce dependency on multiple systems and improves overall operational efficiency.

NetSuite also offers strong customization capabilities through workflows, saved searches, and scripting, which makes it flexible to adapt to different business requirements. The integration capabilities with external platforms such as eCommerce, payment gateways, and third-party logistics providers are another major advantage.

Additionally, the real-time reporting and visibility across business processes help teams make faster and more informed decisions. The platform is scalable and suitable for growing businesses, making it a reliable long-term solution.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

One of the challenges with NetSuite is that the user interface can sometimes feel less intuitive, especially for new users. Certain configurations and customizations may require technical expertise, which can increase dependency on developers or consultants.

Additionally, troubleshooting integrations and scripts can sometimes be time-consuming, and documentation for specific use cases is not always detailed. Performance can also occasionally slow down when working with large datasets or complex saved searches.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite helps streamline business operations by consolidating financial management, order processing, and inventory management into one unified platform. This reduces manual work, improves data accuracy, and enhances operational visibility.

It also simplifies integrations with external systems such as eCommerce platforms, payment providers, and logistics partners, allowing automation of key business processes. This has improved efficiency, reduced errors, and enabled faster delivery of solutions to clients.

Overall, NetSuite has helped improve productivity, reporting accuracy, and scalability across business operations.

 ### 10. Efficient, Secure, but Needs Better Multi-Currency & Planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose B. | Consultor de Aplicaciones ERP, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like NetSuite for its security because it allows us to comply directly with our company's security policies. The ease of use is a big plus as it greatly reduces the need for specialized training whenever someone new joins. I also appreciate that it's role-based, enabling the IT department to delegate access according to roles rather than individual users. It's great that I can work on any device and connection too. The fast timesheet reporting and the ability to enter timesheet data on one screen for projects, support cases, and tasks are really handy. Plus, the direct integration with the accounting systems in our company makes things seamless. Setting up NetSuite was very easy, though we did have a few user adoption challenges.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I don't like that multi-currency settlement does not allow settlement between currencies in purchases or sales. Manufacturing planning also can't be customized depending on custom fields.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use NetSuite for fast timesheet reporting and easy data entry on one screen. It integrates directly with our accounting systems, enhancing security, ease of use, and role-based access to comply with policies and reduce specialized training needs.

 ### 11. NetSuite & it's Scalability.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tarun p. | Senior Business Systems Analyst - NetSuite, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

The ability of NetSuite to offer end-to-end visibility across operations and finance in a single system is what I find most appealing. Strong process control is made possible by its integrated audit trails, approvals, and validations. With scripting, workflows, and saved searches, the platform is very customizable. It makes it possible to solve challenging business issues without requiring a lot of development work. It is an effective central hub because of its smooth integration with programs like Boomi. All things considered, it is a dependable and adaptable system for effectively managing financial operations.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

one disadvantage is that managing intricate logic (such as tolerance checks) frequently necessitates the use of scripting or saved searches as workarounds. Certain common restrictions, like line-level controls or partial billing of expenses, are not always clear-cut. Troubleshooting can be time-consuming due to unclear user interface and error messages. Some actions seem counterintuitive, such as managing system-generated records or excluding voided transactions. In general, obtaining advanced functionality may occasionally necessitate additional customization work rather than native support.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By consolidating POs, vendor bills, and payments into a single system, NetSuite removes data silos and eliminates the need for cross-tool reconciliation. By preventing overbilling beyond tolerance limits, for example, it helps enforce financial control and lowers risk and errors. It saves you time on validations and approvals by streamlining the automation of manual processes (saved searches, workflows). It enhances reporting and visibility, enabling you to swiftly examine transaction details and discrepancies. It facilitates more seamless data synchronization between systems by integrating with programs like Boomi.

 ### 12. NetSuite Brings Everything Together with Real-Time Visibility and Scalability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harish K. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

What I like most about NetSuite is that it brings everything together in one place. Rather than juggling separate tools for accounting, inventory, CRM, and reporting, it all runs within a single system. That makes day-to-day work smoother and saves a lot of time.

Another standout for me is the real-time visibility. I can quickly check financials, track orders, or review performance without having to wait for reports to be generated, which makes it easier to make faster, more informed decisions.

I also appreciate how customizable it is. As business needs change, you can adjust workflows, dashboards, and reports without having to switch to a completely different system. Overall, it feels like a scalable solution that can grow along with the business.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

One thing I don’t like about NetSuite is that it can feel pretty complex, especially for new users. The interface isn’t always very intuitive, so it takes a while to get comfortable and really understand how everything works.

Another drawback is the cost. For smaller businesses, it can be quite expensive—not only the subscription, but also the implementation and customization. It’s simply not always the most budget-friendly option.

I’ve also found that some customizations and reports can be tricky to set up without technical help. At times you need external support or a specialist, which can slow progress and make changes take longer than expected.

Overall, even though it’s a powerful system, there’s a clear learning curve and some added costs that come with it.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems NetSuite solves for me is reporting and overall data visibility. Before, pulling reports was time-consuming, and the information I needed was often scattered across different systems or buried in spreadsheets. Because of that, it was difficult to get a clear, real-time view of how the business was performing.

With NetSuite, reporting feels much more streamlined. I can generate real-time reports whenever I need them, without having to wait on someone else or manually compile data from multiple places. The dashboards are especially useful because they provide a quick snapshot of key metrics all in one place.

It also makes customization easier. I can tailor reports to specific requirements, which helps me get more meaningful insights rather than just generic data. This has improved decision-making, since I can rely on information that’s accurate and up to date.

Overall, it saves a lot of time, reduces manual effort, and makes reporting more reliable and accessible.

 ### 13. Comprehensive ERP Solution, Smooth Setup, Needs Better Bank Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aisha Gohar R. | Senior Accounting Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I appreciate NetSuite’s integration capabilities, especially with ticketing software, which is essential for us. The setup process was smooth and accompanied by comprehensive training, making it easy for us. I also value the ease of generating reports and saved searches, which I use frequently. Additionally, NetSuite’s extensive capabilities in handling order management, processing, budgeting, and financials all within one software make it a worthy consideration.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I find integrating bank and credit card feeds with NetSuite challenging. Unlike smaller software like QuickBooks, which makes this process straightforward, NetSuite requires more effort and complexity to achieve this integration.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite simplifies financial reporting and order management, integrating smoothly with our ticketing software. It consolidates key functions like budgeting and processing, enhancing efficiency. However, integrating bank feeds could be improved, as it is challenging compared to simpler alternatives like QuickBooks.

**Official Response from Lauren Dattilo:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, Aisha! If you haven’t already done so, feel free to check out our NetSuite Customer Community. https://community.oracle.com/netsuite

 ### 14. Error-Prone Deployments and Hard-to-Trace Workflow Logic Slow Maintenance

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim T. | NetSuite Dev/Engineer-Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like that I can create custom record types, and I also appreciate the ability to customize things using JavaScript.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I don’t like SDF, and I honestly don’t use it much. Early on, I found the deployment process difficult and error-prone, mainly because of missing dependencies. Since we have four SBs before we get to production, the manual deployment entry steps become especially troublesome.

While I understand the benefits of workflows, I find that our company’s implementation of workflows and scripts often creates challenges when maintaining a system where the logic can live across multiple platforms. A lot of the time, simply figuring out where the issue actually resides ends up being the most time-consuming part of maintenance.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use NetSuite as our global financial system, and it includes a distinct donation component.

 ### 15. Netsuite is very helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Misun H. | Operations Part Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I am very satisfied with Advanced Support, and the Learning Labs conducted occasionally are also very helpful.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

There is a lack of organization and explanation regarding invoicing.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite is solving several operational challenges by providing an integrated platform for managing various business processes.

Order Management – It streamlines order processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing customer and dealer orders.
Invoicing & Payments – Automates invoice generation and payment processing, reducing manual errors and improving financial accuracy.
Inventory & Listing Management – Helps track stock levels, manage product listings, and prevent pricing discrepancies across different sales channels.
Deduction & Chargeback Handling – Facilitates tracking and resolution of deductions, chargebacks, and compliance issues, minimizing financial losses.
Reporting & Analytics – Provides real-time insights into sales, inventory, and financials, enabling better decision-making.
Tax Compliance – Ensures proper tax calculations and compliance based on different state and regional requirements.
By centralizing these processes, NetSuite increases efficiency, reduces errors, and enhances overall operational visibility.

 ### 16. Powerful, Scalable ERP with Strong Automation and Real-Time Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant H. | Director of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

NetSuite is powerful because it brings accounting, billing, purchasing, and financial reporting into one unified system, creating a single source of truth for the business. For finance teams, it helps automate key processes such as invoicing, revenue recognition, and approvals, which reduces manual work and helps cut down on errors. The platform is also highly scalable, allowing companies to grow from startup to enterprise without needing to switch ERPs along the way. NetSuite offers strong real-time reporting and dashboards as well, giving leadership clear visibility into overall financial performance. On top of that, its ability to integrate with tools like Salesforce and other operational systems makes it a solid backbone for a modern SaaS tech stack.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

One downside of NetSuite is that its interface can feel complex and not very intuitive for new users, so it often requires additional training to get people comfortable. Implementations and customizations can also be time-consuming and expensive, particularly when the system needs to be tailored to specific workflows. Some reporting and saved search functionality may require technical knowledge to build and maintain effectively. In addition, certain integrations with other systems can require middleware or extra development work. Finally, when you factor in licensing, implementation, and ongoing support, the overall cost can be high for smaller organizations.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite addresses the challenge of financial data being scattered across multiple systems by bringing accounting, billing, purchasing, and reporting into a single platform. This creates one reliable source of truth for financial information and provides clearer visibility into the company’s overall performance. It also automates many manual tasks—such as invoicing, approvals, and revenue recognition—which saves time and helps reduce the risk of errors. As a result, the finance team can close the books more quickly and focus more on analysis instead of routine manual work. Overall, NetSuite supports more efficient scaling while maintaining strong financial controls and accurate reporting.

 ### 17. Customizable and Reliable but Needs a Modern UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will R. | System Administrator, Building Materials, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2019

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I use NetSuite as my main ERP and financial/inventory system because it solves a lot of problems like inventory management, financials, payables, and receivables. Having all the business processes under one platform makes things easy to find, dependable for reporting, and robust to rely upon. What I like most about NetSuite is how customizable it is. It may not be great at any one thing, but you can tailor it to your needs. We were the first retailer of our kind on NetSuite, and we molded it to match our business needs. We've since grown and expanded upon our usage of the software far beyond what we originally intended. NetSuite allows us to modify the system whenever we have a specific business need, like controlling order capacity and delivery scheduling, by creating custom records that fit our requirements.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The UI is slow, clunky, and outdated. I'm hopeful that NetSuite Next (next generation UI) fixes those issues. Navigating between transactions or records can be cumbersome. There also is a pretty steep learning curve around the backend language - understanding how fields and records are joined can be challenging at first. For starters, the look could feel more modern. The current UI feels like it's from the mid-2010s, and it sometimes performs like it. Waiting on fields to populate, sublists to load, transactions to save - it all just feels slow. Creating records, while similar across verticals, could be streamlined. It wasn't that easy. We got lucky in that we had a functional consultant live local to our office in northern IL, but even then we took a staged approach to implementation. Financials first, then AP and purchasing, then sales, AR, and inventory.

**Recommendations to others considering NetSuite:**

Do your due diligence.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite simplifies inventory management, financials, payables, and receivables by consolidating business processes on one platform. It's highly customizable, making it dependable for reporting and tailoring to specific business needs.

 ### 18. User-Friendly Bulk Invoicing Made Simple with NetSuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra L R. | Accounts Receivable Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I find NetSuite most helpful using the bulk tools to invoice orders. I also find it is a system that is user friendly. The upside of using NetSuite is that it is much simpler than other systems I have used in the past.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The least helpful using NetSuite is the 3rd party billing cannot be used with USPS. If a customer has 3rd party billing on their customer page, then USPS cannot be selected. We have to manually take the 3rd party billing off of the order to choose USPS for shipping. That is the only downside of NetSuite.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite solves our accounting needs. NetSuite is beneficial to me because it allows me to bulk invoice orders, use credit card tokens to pay for custom orders, and easily filter open invoices that needs to be re-sent to customers if payment is still needed.

 ### 19. Robust Reporting with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I use NetSuite for all accounting functions, including billing, AP, and GL. I really appreciate the report and search creation tools. They're deep enough that I can run any search I need, and it's also easy enough to create them. Posting JEs is very easy, and the real-time posting of invoices, payments, and bill payments ensures my team doesn't have to unnecessarily contact customers or vendors. It really helps us fulfill report requests from other departments like operations and sales quickly and efficiently, aiding faster business decisions.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Changing the revenue recognition schedule is cumbersome. It needs to be easier to change the dates and update the future revenue recognition. Currently, you need to edit the forecast and then the plan.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite allows real-time posting of transactions, reducing unnecessary contact with customers or vendors. The report and search creation tools are deep yet easy to use, enabling quick and efficient responses to cross-departmental data requests which helps the business make better decisions faster.

 ### 20. Streamlined Accounting with a Clean Interface but Custom Reports Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2023

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like using NetSuite for my accounting, order processing, and shipping information because it allows me to use one system that covers all my backend accounting needs. The clean interface and the KPIs on the home page make things easy for me. When I log on to do my work, I can easily see my cash flow, bank balance, and other key items I need to keep track of. The initial setup was also very easy because NetSuite provided very good guidance and help.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I'm not a technical person and I struggle with building custom reports. I try to build custom reports on my own, but I never seem to get exactly what I need. I find the interface for this area cumbersome and confusing.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite allows me to use one system for backend accounting, making things easy to track like cash flow and bank balance with its clean interface and KPIs.

 ### 21. Highly Customizable but Complex Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moran Z. | Finance Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I really like that NetSuite is robust and fast and offers many integration capabilities. It's very customizable, allowing me to fit almost any country's financial and tax implications. The customization options are particularly valuable.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

From an accounting perspective, I find that NetSuite could allow greater analysis of ledgers. Creating custom reports is very challenging, even with admin access and experience. There's a lot of trial and error involved in bringing the correct fields, and some fields aren't supported for reports. It's also challenging to pull data from different sources. The 'new' Analytics feature should address this, but it's still pretty complicated and slow. There are limitations with closed transactions in AP and AR, as there's no good capability to match transactions in general ledgers like the VAT ledger. The features available aren't good enough yet. Anything related to multi books or creating different types of reports (GAAP / Non-GAAP) isn't supported well enough. The initial setup was not easy at all.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite handles global financials for subsidiaries, supports multi-books, and generates custom and consolidated reports. It's robust, fast, highly customizable, and fits financial and tax rules for various countries.

 ### 22. Centralized Order Management with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like being able to consolidate everything in one place. Using different systems can be very error-prone, and NetSuite helps us bring our inventory levels, orders, and returns together in one easy-to-use system. The pricing is also very affordable for my business, and the support has been good. Overall, the system performs very well, including the AI chat. Integrations are also easy to set up and work smoothly across all areas.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

NetSuite has a fairly steep learning curve, especially for new users, because the system doesn’t feel very intuitive. A more guided onboarding and setup experience—like interactive tutorials—combined with a cleaner, more streamlined, and focused user interface would make it much easier to get started and handle day-to-day navigation.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use NetSuite to consolidate orders from multiple sources, track seasonal demand, and manage returns and warranties. It brings our inventory levels, orders, and return activity into one easy-to-use system, which helps us reduce errors, stay organized, and improve overall efficiency.

 ### 23. Effective ERP with Room for Search Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly W. | Controller, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I really appreciate how NetSuite brings together all of my financial and accounting data, making it easier to prepare our monthly financials. I like how things are linked to one another; for instance, if I'm looking at a report and want to go into the details, all I have to do is select the amount, and it shows all the necessary details.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I don't like that NetSuite doesn't use natural language to find things or reports. It's challenging because the search tools require you to know exactly how to search for something. Also, the initial setup was a bit cumbersome, though it wasn't too bad with the help of a consultant or expert.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite consolidates all my financial and accounting data for monthly financials, and I love how reports are interconnected for deeper insights.

 ### 24. Financials Made Simple with NetSuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valerie B. | Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I love how NetSuite offers everything from AP to AR, reconciliations, and month-end close. The audit trail is easy to trace, and NetSuite can handle a high volume of APs. It's the main hub for all our financial data, making forecasting, visibility, and streamlining efficiency so much easier. Being able to review the GL and customize reports allows me to quickly see trends, discrepancies, or variances, which helps improve forecasting accuracy and gives leadership a clearer view of our financials. I also found the initial setup to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The only thing would be when sending invoices directly from NetSuite, if there is a fail, it doesn't tell you which invoice failed to send and that can be kind of annoying.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite helps us manage complex financials with extensive detail. It's our main hub for financial data, aiding in forecasting and visibility. Reviewing the GL and customizing reports improves forecasting accuracy and gives leadership a clearer financial view.

 ### 25. Comprehensive Management, Real-Time Insights with NetSuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like the real-time data and reliable intel that NetSuite provides. It's easy for non-tech users to pull information and work in the system, which is a big plus. The workflow is easy to understand, making it simple for frontline staff to use the system and provide executives with transactions in real time.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I think data board reporting could be improved with easier drag and drop functionality. Also, item record fields often have similar names, which makes building dashboards time-consuming.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite handles inventory management, margin optimization, and cash flow optimization. I appreciate its real-time data and reliable intel. It's user-friendly for non-tech users, making workflows easy, enabling front-line staff to effectively use the system and feed real-time transactions to executives.

 ### 26. Efficient Q2C Automation with Data Integrity, But Slow Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanley D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I use NetSuite as an ERP system, and I like that its processes can act as a trigger for other flows throughout different systems, like 3PL and marketing communications. This is pretty handy for everything in the sales order process. I appreciate how NetSuite serves as the center source of truth with permission handling, maintaining data integrity. The trigger-based architecture is useful for automating the entire Quote-to-Cash process lifecycle, reducing handoff errors by automating key steps like fulfillment and invoicing, which cuts down on manual work. Also, I found the initial setup of NetSuite to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

It's slow and is bad with working with data within NetSuite. It can take minutes to load a single record or even a saved search could take 20 minutes to load.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use NetSuite to manage sales orders and maintain data integrity, serving as the central source of truth. Its trigger-based architecture automates the Quote-to-Cash process, reducing manual work and errors.

 ### 27. Great Modules and Shared Data, but Customization Often Requires Costly Scripts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deb S. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like all the different modules included in Netsuite that can share data with each other. Our sales teams finds the opportunities section helpful in keep track of new (and old) contacts and prospects.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

It's hard to customize certain areas without having to use custom scripts (that we can't do ourselves and have to use our Netsuite consultant to do this for us at an added cost).

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We just started using some of the accounting functions, such as expense reports, and it integrates with Bill.com. This saves us a lot of time each month when paying staff expenses. We also use it to pay out quarterly rebates and were able to create a custom mailing process that saves us hours each quarter with the automated process of sending out over 400 emails.

 ### 28. Clean interface and user-friendly accounting system

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2025

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

The most helpful function of NetSuite is that it is easy to use as an accounting system, and it includes all the major needs for the small to medium size company. Also, the most part I like is that it provides good online sources with clear documents and guidelines.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The least helpful part is that when I customize a report or design an uploading file to map it to match NetSuite template, it does not have a clear guidance which item is for which actual field in the NetSuite transaction form. I need to guess and test several times. Also, when I have some questions regarding customizing reports but cannot find answer in the website, I did not know where quickly connect to the customer support to resolve my problems.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use NetSuite as the accounting system to manage receivables, payables, bank reconciliation, reporting, and financial statements etc. It provides a great basic reporting function to meet our daily accounting needs.

 ### 29. Powerful All-in-One Platform, But Overall Experience Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nilesh P. | Manager-operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

The most helpful aspect of NetSuite is that it provides a single, integrated platform to manage all business operations like finance, inventory, procurement, and CRM. This eliminates the need for multiple systems and gives real-time visibility into business data.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

NetSuite is a powerful platform, but it’s also quite complex and costly to implement and maintain. It requires significant training, comes with a steep learning curve. In my experience, it isn’t feasible to use for project-related work in the manufacturing sector.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time by automating routine tasks (POs, entries, reports)
Improves accuracy by reducing manual data entry errors
Real-time visibility of inventory, orders, and financial data
Better coordination between departments (procurement, production, finance)
Faster decision-making with reliable reports and dashboards
Improved tracking of materials, costs, and project status

 ### 30. Seamlessly Customizable Cloud ERP with Robust Global Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep k. | NetSuite Architect, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I really like that NetSuite is very easy to customize. You can hire a consultant to customize the system or write a script, and the system can be expanded or tailored based on different business needs, making it almost like a bespoke system for any business. It's also very easy to use and understand. Being a 100% cloud-based system is a great benefit, especially since we have people working across the globe and it allows us to see data in real-time without waiting for transactions to process. So, yeah, it's a great benefit to have such an easy-to-customize and fast cloud-based system.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Sometimes, if there's a feature that doesn't work with NetSuite, it can take ages for them to address it with an enhancement because not a lot of customers may want it. Sometimes, there's no workaround, and these enhancement requests can stay in the NetSuite world for ages.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite consolidates multi-subsidiary accounts quickly, saving two days at month-end. Its 100% cloud-based system allows for real-time financial balance sheet access and is easily customizable to different business needs.

**Official Response from Lauren Dattilo:**

 ### 31. Promised Scalability, Delivered Frustration

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel A. | Head of Finance, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

What I liked most about NetSuite was the initial promise. It presents itself as a platform capable of supporting the long term scaling of a growing international business, which made it seem like the right strategic choice when evaluating future growth and operational complexity

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The base license covers very little, and many essential capabilities require additional paid modules or third party tools. Basic financial workflows lack automation, integrations are difficult, and reporting is limited. Many processes remain manual unless significant development resources or costly customization are added.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We originally selected NetSuite to anchor and standardize financial and operational processes in preparation for international expansion. However, due to the challenges encountered during implementation, the system never went live, so it ultimately did not deliver any tangible benefits to our organization.

 ### 32. The Ultimate All-in-One Scalable ERP Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

What I like best about NetSuite is how it serves as a unified platform that scales alongside our business. The UI is highly intuitive, allowing for personalized dashboard that provide real-time visibility. Its robust performance and seamless integrations have significantly streamlined our workflows, ensuring high ROI by automating complex financial tasks. Additionally, the onboarding and support teams were instrumental in our successful transition as well as the new intelligence features.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

When downloading the Excel files from NetSuite, it's challenging to always have to change the file type to a usable format. This is an extra step for all reports that I have to download from NetSuite.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite has eliminated our data silos by unifying financials, fixed asset, and all of our reports into a single platform. Centralizing all of our important monthly tasks into one location is key for an efficient and effective close.

 ### 33. Powerful Financial Tool with Room for Reporting Efficiency

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara J. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I find NetSuite to be a very powerful tool. It's our go-to place where everything is set up as the repository for all of our financial data, which allows us to pull reports and have it be our source of truth.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Sometimes when we try to pull the types of reports that we need, it takes a very long time because we have to go line item by line item and pull the data, so it can take hours to run. So that's very frustrating. We also don't have our scripts set up very well right now and have to do a lot of manual data manipulation and then re-upload it into NetSuite.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite provides financial visibility, allowing my finance team to access necessary reports and insights. It's our source of truth for all financial data, helping us track revenue and accounts receivable. It's a powerful tool that centralizes and organizes our financial operations.

 ### 34. NetSuite: Improving the way business is done

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I really like how everything connects within one system—General Ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and more. The global search is also a big plus for me because it helps me quickly find what I’m looking for. The interface is well laid out, and the customizable dashboards for different roles are especially helpful. It also seems like there are many modules you can add to better support specific business needs. Overall, it’s great to see how many platforms integrate directly with NetSuite.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

There hasn’t been much for me to dislike about NetSuite overall. That said, I do think the standard reporting could be a bit more robust. At times, I also wish the report layouts were easier to define and could be set up in a more polished, consistent way.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has improved efficiencies in our processes, especially during period close. It also eliminates the need for a lot of separate reports (think spreadsheets), which helps streamline how we work. Overall, it gives us the opportunity to get a more real-time snapshot of our financials.

 ### 35. NetSuite Flexibility That Streamlines Reporting and Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

What I like best about NetSuite is its flexibility and how much we can tailor it to real business processes. Saved searches, custom records, workflows, Suitelets, and scripts make it possible to build solutions that fit our team instead of forcing everything into a rigid standard process. It has been especially helpful for improving reporting, automating repetitive tasks, and connecting inventory, sales, and finance data in one place. For a growing business, that level of customization and visibility adds a lot of value.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

My main frustration with NetSuite is that while it is highly flexible, it often takes significant setup, customization, and technical knowledge to make processes work efficiently. Some native reports and search limitations mean teams still need workarounds or custom development to get exactly what they need. The UI in certain areas also feels dated, and performance can slow down when using saved searches, scripts, or large datasets. Overall, it is powerful, but not always as user-friendly or efficient out of the box as it could be.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before NetSuite, a lot of our tracking and reporting had to be done manually across spreadsheets and separate processes. NetSuite helps solve that by putting transactions, inventory, reporting, and operational workflows into one system. It benefits us by improving visibility, reducing duplicate work, and making data easier to trust. It also allows us to automate repetitive tasks and build custom processes around how the business actually works, which saves time and improves accuracy.

 ### 36. Highly Customizable but Clunky Interface

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stella Z. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like the customization of NetSuite, and I value the script library and various PDF/HTML templates it offers. It aggregates and displays our financial data in various reports, which is very useful for our financial reporting system.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The basic interface is kind of clunky. I don't like that when entering transactions, the decimal amounts aren't automatically in the correct spots based on what seems like an improper system assumption. It seems like a setting glitch that I haven't been able to fix. It would be better if users could customize how they want to input numbers and the format it shows up in.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite aggregates and displays our financial data in various reports.

 ### 37. Incredible Reporting and Flexible Customization with NetSuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie D. | Project Manager and Team Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

The amount of reports I can run is incredible! It answers nearly every question I have when it comes to reporting for business, taxes, payroll, benefits, etc. The implementation of this tool to others is pretty seamless. I've rarely had an issue, and when I have it's been an easy fix. NetSuite is my main way of tracking sales and balancing expenses.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The implementation is a long process, but very worth it! It's a pretty complicated tool, but for a good reason. You can customize it however you need, and it can implement with almost any other software you use! Very, very flexible.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It manages our company expenses, reimbursements, sales, and reporting! It solves all our problems when it comes to tracking past expenses and running reports.

 ### 38. A True Single Source of Truth with Flexible Customization and Real-Time Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis B. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

NetSuite’s biggest strength is that it serves as a true single source of truth across finance, operations, projects, and reporting. Having transactions, job costing, inventory, purchasing, and financials all tied together in one system dramatically improves visibility and accountability. The flexibility of saved searches, workflows, and custom fields allows us to adapt the system to our business without heavy custom development, and the real-time access to data supports better decision-making. From a scalability standpoint, NetSuite also gives confidence that the platform can grow with the business rather than needing to be replaced.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

While NetSuite is powerful, it can feel overly complex for everyday users, especially when simple tasks require deep configuration or workarounds. Some reporting and UI behaviors (such as recalculation delays, limited control over certain system fields, or inconsistent filter behavior between reports and saved searches) can be frustrating. There is also a noticeable learning curve, and changes that seem small on the surface often require admin involvement, scripts, or workflows. Finally, performance and transparency around background processes (like project profitability recalculations) could be improved to help users better trust and understand what they’re seeing.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite is solving the challenge of fragmented systems and disconnected data by bringing financials, purchasing, inventory, projects, time, and reporting into one integrated platform. This reduces manual reconciliation, duplicate data entry, and errors that occur when information lives in multiple tools. As a result, we have better visibility into job costs, project profitability, and operational performance, which helps us make more informed decisions. The system also enforces consistent processes and controls as the business grows, allowing us to scale operations without losing financial accuracy or oversight.

 ### 39. Easy to Navigate with Flexible Invoice/Credit Memo Editing and Things to Improve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farah G. | AccountsReceivable Clerk, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like how it is wasy to navigate and the option it gives to edit the invoice/credit memo we create.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The things that can be improved in using Netsuite are the options to give when editing. Example is when editing a posted payment, it doesn't give option anymore to check the Credits Tab. When editing a posted payment as well, the amount you input in the 'discount' column and 'applied' column will be different so if you click EDIT, (for example you want to edit the Memo or date in the upper part), you need to edit the whole thing if you input different amount in discount and apply. When posting as well a lot of invoices with Chargebacks, there's a time that it was loading for so long then the work we've done was refreshed so we need to do it again.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to navigate and the way it shos me the things I need in checking my aging.

 ### 40. Streamlined Financial Operations but Lacks Reporting Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Selena K. | Business Systems Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like this product because all the accounting and financial functions are there. We have the capability to automate and further expand what we do as a company for accounting and financials. It's also nice to dabble into financial budgeting and planning for the future. The auto-match feature for our banking information is a huge win, saving us time by not having to manually match transactions, invoices, and journals.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Our financial budgeting and reporting capabilities in NetSuite are quite limited. We have to resort to using external tools like Excel for these tasks, which is cumbersome since the data is already in NetSuite. It would be nicer if NetSuite had more flexibility in reporting.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use NetSuite for accounting, invoicing, and managing AR and AP, which auto-matches banking info to save us time. It hosts our customer data from Salesforce, supports financial planning, and automates processes, helping us expand our financial functions.

 ### 41. Customization Power, But Challenges in Flexibility

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cynthia Z. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like that we can customize NetSuite to better suit our needs with workflows and scripts. Workflows help automate approvals, status updates, and notifications, which reduces manual work and ensures consistency across transactions and subsidiaries. Scripts allow us to handle more complex logic to adapt to different subsidiaries' specific operational processes.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I think NetSuite is hard core in many aspects and not flexible enough. Like saved searches, reports, the database behind only allows connecting two directly linked records. Also, the home dashboards are limited to certain customizations.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company uses NetSuite to manage every business process, from accounting to sales. I like customizing NetSuite with workflows and scripts to automate tasks, reduce manual work, and adapt to complex logic for different subsidiaries, ensuring consistency across transactions.

 ### 42. Centralized Database, But Reporting Needs Work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I like that all of NetSuite's features share the same database. This is really valuable for us as it supports our goal of moving as many processes as possible towards automation and helps reduce human error and slowness. The central database serves as the core on which our process optimization is built.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Building reports is complicated, especially when we want to join data. The system as a whole is often slow, with pages taking 30 seconds to load. The UI uses too much space on unnecessary information and hides common information behind menus that need more backend calls. We have to pull data out to Excel or OneDrive because of weak reporting and awkward document management. We had to contract with third parties for small improvements and sign up for an ACS contract to ease setup difficulties. There are hundreds of fields with overlapping names, making it hard to search. Accessible documentation and the ability to run SQL or SuiteQL queries would make generating reports easier.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite helps with financial record keeping, CRM, and project management, all integrated into a central database to reduce human error and enhance process automation.

 ### 43. Robust ERP with Room for UX Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sameh H. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I appreciate that NetSuite is the whole accounting package, providing an end-to-end solution from initial journal entries to board reporting. It covers all aspects of accounting, which is really comprehensive. I find that it mostly reduces manual effort, especially for accounts payable, as we can utilize a lot of the automation features. I like that revenue recognition is automated, allowing us to streamline processes as much as we can. The use of APIs to feed other tools into NetSuite helps all the entries to flow easily into the accounting tool and produce reports efficiently off the back of that. Additionally, switching to NetSuite supported our growth as we needed a tool to support scalability and growth.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

There's a lot of features within NetSuite that I'm not aware of. It's well hidden within the tool, and sometimes it's difficult to find some of the new features just because of the layout. If there's going to be a new launch, they should drop us an email, an easy-to-read email with what the latest launches are and how we can benefit from them. Maybe a short video as well to show how some of these features can be used. I think that'll be really useful.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite provides a full accounting package, from journal entries to board reporting. Its automation features reduce manual effort, especially in accounts payable and revenue recognition, and enable integration with other tools for seamless data flow.

 ### 44. Highly Flexible and Reliable for Accounting Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I work as a NetSuite consultant and have seen a great improvement in accounting system reliability and data enhancement for customers I've supported. I like how NetSuite provides a comforting experience by managing everything from Order to Cash Transactions and Procure to Pay orders, with all transactions impacting the General Ledger. The flexibility of NetSuite as a tool stands out to me, particularly the custom fields and custom segments. The connection throughout transactional points and the strong reporting capabilities are impressive, capturing and organizing information effectively. I also appreciate the ability to send notifications and communicate approvals and active work to users, which is a great advantage. The combination of out-of-the-box solutions with customization that adapts to specific use cases, plus robust reporting, makes it an essential tool for my clients.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

I believe NetSuite could have created a more user-friendly UI. The one in place usually relies on a steeper learning curve that usually takes time and effort for the client to adopt effectively and rapidly.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite improves accounting reliability and data accuracy, supports order handling, and provides a customizable system that enhances daily transactions. It's valuable for end-to-end processes, from design to testing, and builds robust reports that benefit clients.

 ### 45. Powerful Integration with Room for Performance Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinivasan S. | AR Specalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I appreciate that NetSuite provides end-to-end integration across financials, billing, and revenue management, which reduces manual work and improves accuracy. I find the real-time reporting and dashboards valuable as they allow me to quickly access up-to-date financial data and customize reports, helping in making informed decisions and tracking key metrics. The flexibility in handling complex billing scenarios such as subscriptions, renewals, and usage-based billing is also a standout feature. Additionally, the platform is powerful and highly customizable, making the initial setup a positive experience.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

NetSuite could be improved in system performance as certain processes or large reports can sometimes be slow with high data volumes. I'd like faster processing for saved searches and reports, background processing for heavy tasks, and improved dashboard refresh speeds.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite speeds up e-invoice creation, improves accuracy, and allows easy error correction. It integrates financials, billing, and revenue management, reducing manual work. Real-time reporting helps in decision-making, and flexibility in billing handles subscriptions and renewals effectively.

 ### 46. Switched ERPs to NetSuite

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

NetSuite, as a cloud solution, is an ideal fit for my organization. It’s user-friendly and makes it easy to access readily available data when I need it.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

NetSuite's WMS didn't meet all requirements for us like RF Smart does.
NetSuite doesn't have a built in TMS.
Sometimes the data centers go down too long.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetSuite offers user-friendly access to essential data, making it easier for users to navigate and utilize information effectively. As a cloud-based solution, it provides a stable environment that eliminates the need for on-premises servers, ensuring consistent performance and reliability. NetSuite's extensive library of scripts and workflows enhances operational efficiency by automating routine tasks and streamlining processes. This capability allows us to manage our data more efficiently, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors. Additionally, NetSuite's scalability ensures that we have ample room to grow and adapt as our business needs evolve. The platform's seamless integration with Salesforce further enhances our ability to synchronize data across systems, improving overall productivity and collaboration.

 ### 47. Centralized, Customizable ERP with Strong Consultant Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

NetSuite allows our company one central, streamlined ERP system for our employees to utilize. Where NetSuite has its limits, it integrates well with third party companies. We use it with Blend ERP and RF Smart. The consultants are very knowledgeable and eager to help build out what we need for customizations. They do their best to work within the original SOW and use native NetSuite solutions to workflows before talking custom solutions. Additional costs for custom scripts have been reasonable. I found the implementation process invaluable; the consulting team walks you through every piece and provides instruction on how to configure and customize the system yourself. MyLearn also has videos on how to do pretty much everything. I started as a beginner and now I'm a more advanced user; I use admin role and edit our advanced PDFs, customize transaction forms, and manage list data with csv imports on a regular basis. The thing that surprised me the most is the translation functions. Any language is available to the user. That includes system use and most of the MyLearn videos. Overall, I would recommend NetSuite as a solid ERP solution for mid-sized to larger companies.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

There are some connection limitations in terms of which fields can pull onto which forms. For example, a field on the Sales Order may not be available on the Item Fulfillment. In many cases, creating a custom field is the solution, and it’s usually not a big deal. However, there have been a couple of instances where certain field information simply wasn’t available, and that has led our company to require a custom solution.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company decided to add the SuiteProcurement SuiteLet. The integration has been significantly delayed due to it being a newer product, and we've had multiple support tickets and defects opened to address integration issues. While solutions to defects can take weeks to resolve, they regularly update you on the progress. For example, when a defect changes from "pending investigation" to "active investigation", you can expect an email and resolution within the next couple weeks. The consultants on our team are also involved with tracking these issues and will follow up with the tech support team on our behalf to ensure they stick to a reasonable timeline.

 ### 48. Simple, Flexible Netsuite Integration with Powerful MCP and AI Connectors

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

Their UI is simple and easy to use. NAvigation is very clear and simple. Integrating Netsuite comes with ideal flexibility. If you want to go with Out of the box solution, you have suitetalk. If you want a complete customized solution then you have a full cloud environment with complete development supported. The latest MCP and AI connector addition adds value to all the existing features as well as provides edge to the competition.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Their pricing structure is something that has made few our customers question their judgement on taking on Netsuite as ERP. The frequent revision in prices causes distrust.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Netsuite is for all business verticals. Most of the businesses and their processes can easily be mapped within the existing Netsuite functionality and modules without needing to customizing them or bandaging them unlike other of its competitors.

 ### 49. Powerful Analytics, but MRP and Traceability Need Major Improvements

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

The saved search and Workbook analytics framework is the standout feature — once you invest time learning it, you can build surprisingly powerful custom views. For example, I built Open WO and Open PO workbooks with formula fields for Qty Remaining, Days Until Due, and aging buckets that give my team real-time prioritization visibility we didn't have before. That flexibility is genuinely valuable. The fact that MRP, inventory, financials, and work orders live in one system also eliminates a class of integration problems — no syncing between a standalone MRP tool and a separate ERP. For a startup building out supply chain from scratch, having one system of record is a meaningful foundation even if execution against it requires heavy lifting.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

The manufacturing and MRP modules feel underbuilt for anything beyond simple discrete BOMs. We ran into a BOM direction error that caused fractional quantity issues in wafer singulation work orders — a basic lot sizing problem that required manual intervention to diagnose and fix. Lot and serial traceability doesn't work cleanly out of the box for multi-tier supply chains; we had to build workarounds using the Inventory Numbers saved search instead of a purpose-built genealogy view. The UI is dated and navigation is non-intuitive — finding the right saved search or transaction type involves too many clicks. Onboarding and support are heavily consultant-dependent, and documentation for advanced features like SuiteQL or Workbook formula syntax is sparse. No meaningful AI or intelligence layer exists in the modules we use — no demand sensing, no anomaly detection, nothing that reduces planner cognitive load.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing MRP, work order management, and material traceability across a multi-tier semiconductor packaging supply chain — spanning foundry to assembly to optics. The single system of record for open POs and WOs is the core value: before NetSuite, visibility required pulling data from multiple sources and reconciling manually. Now a planner can see WO status, material availability, and aging in one place. The unexpected benefit has been using saved searches as a lightweight BI layer — with enough formula field work, you can approximate dashboards that would otherwise need a separate analytics tool. ROI is real but heavily dependent on internal investment in configuration; the product doesn't deliver that value on its own.

 ### 50. NetSuite: Easier than other ERP and Quick to Customize

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janielle M. | Materials Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about NetSuite?**

I’ve used other large ERP systems before, and I find NetSuite’s functions easy to use. It’s straightforward to click through and find what I need without getting lost. I’ve also noticed that when I submit requests to our IT department for customization, it doesn’t feel like it takes a year for them to get it done.

**What do you dislike about NetSuite?**

Design engineering is fragmented which can cause issues if you need to update more than one module, each one is completely different.

**What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Netsuite mainly for procurement and inventory tracking. We are working on setting up our MRP processes through Netsuite but we aren't there yet.
