"Netsuite is very helpful"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I am very satisfied with Advanced Support, and the Learning Labs conducted occasionally are also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

There is a lack of organization and explanation regarding invoicing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Scalable ERP with Strong Automation and Real-Time Reporting"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite is powerful because it brings accounting, billing, purchasing, and financial reporting into one unified system, creating a single source of truth for the business. For finance teams, it helps automate key processes such as invoicing, revenue recognition, and approvals, which reduces manual work and helps cut down on errors. The platform is also highly scalable, allowing companies to grow from startup to enterprise without needing to switch ERPs along the way. NetSuite offers strong real-time reporting and dashboards as well, giving leadership clear visibility into overall financial performance. On top of that, its ability to integrate with tools like Salesforce and other operational systems makes it a solid backbone for a modern SaaS tech stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

One downside of NetSuite is that its interface can feel complex and not very intuitive for new users, so it often requires additional training to get people comfortable. Implementations and customizations can also be time-consuming and expensive, particularly when the system needs to be tailored to specific workflows. Some reporting and saved search functionality may require technical knowledge to build and maintain effectively. In addition, certain integrations with other systems can require middleware or extra development work. Finally, when you factor in licensing, implementation, and ongoing support, the overall cost can be high for smaller organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable and Reliable but Needs a Modern UI"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I use NetSuite as my main ERP and financial/inventory system because it solves a lot of problems like inventory management, financials, payables, and receivables. Having all the business processes under one platform makes things easy to find, dependable for reporting, and robust to rely upon. What I like most about NetSuite is how customizable it is. It may not be great at any one thing, but you can tailor it to your needs. We were the first retailer of our kind on NetSuite, and we molded it to match our business needs. We've since grown and expanded upon our usage of the software far beyond what we originally intended. NetSuite allows us to modify the system whenever we have a specific business need, like controlling order capacity and delivery scheduling, by creating custom records that fit our requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The UI is slow, clunky, and outdated. I'm hopeful that NetSuite Next (next generation UI) fixes those issues. Navigating between transactions or records can be cumbersome. There also is a pretty steep learning curve around the backend language - understanding how fields and records are joined can be challenging at first. For starters, the look could feel more modern. The current UI feels like it's from the mid-2010s, and it sometimes performs like it. Waiting on fields to populate, sublists to load, transactions to save - it all just feels slow. Creating records, while similar across verticals, could be streamlined. It wasn't that easy. We got lucky in that we had a functional consultant live local to our office in northern IL, but even then we took a staged approach to implementation. Financials first, then AP and purchasing, then sales, AR, and inventory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Bulk Invoicing Made Simple with NetSuite"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I find NetSuite most helpful using the bulk tools to invoice orders. I also find it is a system that is user friendly. The upside of using NetSuite is that it is much simpler than other systems I have used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The least helpful using NetSuite is the 3rd party billing cannot be used with USPS. If a customer has 3rd party billing on their customer page, then USPS cannot be selected. We have to manually take the 3rd party billing off of the order to choose USPS for shipping. That is the only downside of NetSuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamlessly Customizable Cloud ERP with Robust Global Capabilities"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I really like that NetSuite is very easy to customize. You can hire a consultant to customize the system or write a script, and the system can be expanded or tailored based on different business needs, making it almost like a bespoke system for any business. It's also very easy to use and understand. Being a 100% cloud-based system is a great benefit, especially since we have people working across the globe and it allows us to see data in real-time without waiting for transactions to process. So, yeah, it's a great benefit to have such an easy-to-customize and fast cloud-based system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Sometimes, if there's a feature that doesn't work with NetSuite, it can take ages for them to address it with an enhancement because not a lot of customers may want it. Sometimes, there's no workaround, and these enhancement requests can stay in the NetSuite world for ages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A True Single Source of Truth with Flexible Customization and Real-Time Insights"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite’s biggest strength is that it serves as a true single source of truth across finance, operations, projects, and reporting. Having transactions, job costing, inventory, purchasing, and financials all tied together in one system dramatically improves visibility and accountability. The flexibility of saved searches, workflows, and custom fields allows us to adapt the system to our business without heavy custom development, and the real-time access to data supports better decision-making. From a scalability standpoint, NetSuite also gives confidence that the platform can grow with the business rather than needing to be replaced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is powerful, it can feel overly complex for everyday users, especially when simple tasks require deep configuration or workarounds. Some reporting and UI behaviors (such as recalculation delays, limited control over certain system fields, or inconsistent filter behavior between reports and saved searches) can be frustrating. There is also a noticeable learning curve, and changes that seem small on the surface often require admin involvement, scripts, or workflows. Finally, performance and transparency around background processes (like project profitability recalculations) could be improved to help users better trust and understand what they’re seeing. "Easy to Navigate with Flexible Invoice/Credit Memo Editing and Things to Improve"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like how it is wasy to navigate and the option it gives to edit the invoice/credit memo we create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The things that can be improved in using Netsuite are the options to give when editing. Example is when editing a posted payment, it doesn't give option anymore to check the Credits Tab. When editing a posted payment as well, the amount you input in the 'discount' column and 'applied' column will be different so if you click EDIT, (for example you want to edit the Memo or date in the upper part), you need to edit the whole thing if you input different amount in discount and apply. When posting as well a lot of invoices with Chargebacks, there's a time that it was loading for so long then the work we've done was refreshed so we need to do it again. "Customization Power, But Challenges in Flexibility"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like that we can customize NetSuite to better suit our needs with workflows and scripts. Workflows help automate approvals, status updates, and notifications, which reduces manual work and ensures consistency across transactions and subsidiaries. Scripts allow us to handle more complex logic to adapt to different subsidiaries' specific operational processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think NetSuite is hard core in many aspects and not flexible enough. Like saved searches, reports, the database behind only allows connecting two directly linked records. Also, the home dashboards are limited to certain customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, powerful, and scalable ERP that grows with your business"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

It's really flexible and powerful. The SuiteScript and integrations features have really opened things up for us, as you can tailor them to fit your business rather than changing your processes to fit the system. Have been using NetSuite for years now, and it is reliable, scalable, and grows with you as your needs evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Honestly, there isn’t anything I genuinely dislike about NetSuite. Like any powerful platform, it can take a bit of time to fully unlock everything it offers, but once you’ve found your feet with it, that flexibility and depth quickly become one of its biggest strengths. "Seamless Workflow and Customization Excellence"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like that with NetSuite, the entire process from estimate to delivery is seamless, which is quite different from other products that don't offer this. There is a lot of customization available from workflows, forms, and scripts, making it suitable for the various requests from different roles in our company. This customization is crucial for us, especially when printing sales orders with specific information like measurements, since each cabinet we sell comes in different sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

We have run into some things we have put in for improvement such as the ability to create invoices from sales orders, which is what our customers would like to see. Our customers only see invoices paid, but a sales order can be processed with several invoices, so they would like to know which invoices are created from which sales orders.
