I have been using Microsoft 365 Business accounts, which offer a wide range of tools and options, providing significant benefits. My experience with Microsoft Outlook over the past year has been excellent, and I highly recommend it to others.
Outlook features a user-friendly interface with easy-to-use functionality. It integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more. The quick email response time is a notable advantage.
The calendar view and meeting notifications are effective, offering a clear interface for managing a high volume of candidate and client emails. Features like conversation threading and focused inbox help prioritize communications efficiently. Additionally, Outlook facilitates easy proposals and rescheduling with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring smooth coordination with Word for resumes, Excel for tracking, and Teams for virtual interviews or internal meetings. Finding specific resumes or past candidate threads can be challenging in large inboxes, as Outlook is not specifically designed for tracking candidate pipelines or application stages. It is best used in conjunction with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) like Greenhouse, Bullhorn, or Workday. Additionally, Outlook can sometimes be slow or prone to crashing, and its numerous features can make the interface feel complex and cluttered. In my experience, the search function is not always reliable, which can hinder productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
