What do you like best about Consensus?

The ease of use is what I like best. It’s really quick and easy to add a link to an email, and I can search through content in a matter of seconds to determine which demo is best to send to a customer. It quickly answers many of the customer’s questions upfront, which makes qualifying the customer much easier and far less time-consuming. Honestly, nothing really. It has only made the process quicker and gives customers much more information upfront without the need for additional resources. The best part is that I can have a personalized product demonstration and avoid repeating the recording process on a case by case basis with a prospect. The features enable me to control the responses, present custom video experiences, and structure the followups in a systematic manner as a sales person. What do you like best about Consensus?

I use Consensus for delivering short videos to potential clients and I love using the recording tool because it works super well to create micro-demos. It allows me to demo specific product features without needing to schedule an entire meeting, saving both me and my wider team a lot of time. I find it easy to use, and the video quality is incredible. The ability to create questionnaires before a set of videos is incredibly useful. In a sales role, it's important to showcase our product seamlessly, and a short, actionable demo is more valuable to my clients than any amount of talking I can do. What do you dislike about Consensus?

Sometimes the search functionality can be a bit difficult to navigate. I've had trouble finding a specific video that I've used before. It feels like an old school style search, where I need to have the exact match typed into the search bar. A natural language search would be more helpful. It would also be great to have the ability to reuse a demo board, but with different people invited. What do you like best about Consensus?

We were sending the same demo (live) to every new contact at every account, which is an inefficient use of everyone's time. Consensus allows us to send one demo experience that all stakeholders can view independently, therefore by the time we get on the phone, they have already viewed the demo. It also solves the "I don't know if they even took a look at what I sent" issue as the analytics track who viewed the demo and where in the demo experience they viewed. For multi-decision maker deals this is particularly helpful as you are not reliant on the primary contact to explain the demo to the rest of the purchasing group. What do you dislike about Consensus?

Sometimes the demo experience does not match our brand and aesthetic as well as we would like, and that bothers me more than it probably should. Getting new reps to consistently use Consensus takes some effort to push them to do so; the setup is not difficult, but there is a learning curve when creating demo experiences. What makes Consensus best to me is the fact that it enhances the initial interaction between our product and prospects. I am employed in a SaaS business that provides services to online retailers, and some of the buyers just prefer to read information alone and then talk to sales. It is a tool that allows me to post guided demos to describe our platform in a straightforward manner. What do you dislike about Consensus?

The primary negative that I observed is the work to maintain demo content fresh. I have been working in my company that has been continuously updating our SaaS product to support e-commerce customers, thus, we have to re-record parts of the demo library. It takes product and sales coordination to prepare such updates. The platform will have a huge number of features, and it may still require effort to adjust existing demo journeys.
