Overall, the benefit of using Outlook is that it integrates well into our company's communication structure. It's a ubiquitous tool across businesses everywhere, so the vast majority of people are familiar with its functions. I find the interface too rigid and almost too corporate. While I have used Outlook in every role throughout my professional life, I still need to reference Google or the help tools to figure out how to set up a feature that would streamline my workflow. I like being able to create folders to organize my messages. It integrates with many different apps. I use Tasks in a Box and it saves me time. The calendar function is repeatedly having issues. It will auto save a Teams meeting when the event being placed on the calendar does not involve a teams meeting. It is difficult to transfer ownership of a meeting series to someone else to edit. Adding calendars and prioritizing them the way you want is impossible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How simple it is and the fact that I can have the app on both my iPhone and my Macbook Air. There's nothing fancy about it, but it works great and I never have issues with it. I also know that Outlook is widely used within the business/legal field, so it's nice to know that while I'm in school, I'm becoming very familiar with the email system that I'll likely be using for th erest of my career. I wish that the user interface looked a little more modern/sleek. Sometimes it looks like an older or more boring user interface, and I think if they updated it something more in line with Gmail or just did a facial refresh, it would be even better. As it currently stands, it looks like something from the early 2000s. I understand that Outlook is probably geared more towards business professionals, so making something like fancy and cool isn't really a huge priority, I just think it would make the interface more fun to use and maybe attract more people to use it. Microsoft offers an integrated ecosystem, and the seamless connection between email, calendar, and tasks is my favourite aspect. At times, the search tool feels unintuitive. Finding specific old threads can be challenging unless you remember the exact keywords or the folders where they are stored. The main issue is that the user interface often appears somewhat cluttered, especially when compared to more modern, minimalist email clients. This can make the learning curve steeper for new users. Using Microsoft Outlook it's easy to send, track offical emails. I dislike that I cannot pass on ownership of meetings to other people and that whenever I need to update the participants of a meeting, it sends a notification to everyone who is involved in that meeting.
