"Good for scheduling corporate meetings"

What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

The meeting reminders, ability to dedicate specific rooms and time spans for meetings and sending out group invitations make this a great choice for scheduling purposes. Outlook alerts you when you try to create a meeting that interferes with another one and helps you stay organized. Also with each meeting change or update, an email can be sent out to all participants, which we find particularly helpful in a large corporation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

Personal preference dislikes are my main gripes about Outlook, like the location of certain buttons, and the fact that no matter how many times I reorganize the order of my folders, they always seem to default back to a weird pattern that buries the "Sent" folder somewhere in the middle, making it hard to find. Also the "internal" and "confidential" settings can give users some problems and we tend to shy away from using them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Outlook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Outlook has greatly improved our company-wide communications system, allowing for bulletins, meetings, and corporate emails to be sent out to all employees simultaneously. What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I like the easy of organizing mail, including flagging and adding tags. There are pretty much shortcuts for anything you need to do in the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a designer and use a mac, and a lot of the functionality of using outlook gets lost on this platform. It is really frustrating since this is the chosen platform of my office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sending and receiving calendar invites is very easy. I enjoy the reminder I get for my meetings and events. Checking my email is easy. Sending email is straightforward. It's a pretty user friendly email and calendar program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While the Outlook calendar is useful for business purposes, as most other folks I work with use the program, I'd prefer to use Goole calendar because I'm more familiar with it. If you are trying to contact someone on a different network, even if they are also using outlook, there might be some wonky things happen to your message. Meeting invites are also not useful unless the person sending them is also using outlook. This program needs to be able to interact with other software more.
