"Serves a purpose but clunky experience over all"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

Lots of good integrations for managing time and workflow. Works well if your organisation predominantly subscribes to Microsoft products.

The digest and daily briefs are good features that I haven't seen on other email clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

The login process can be really clunky if you have more than 1 Microsoft account i.e for work/ personal use. I often have to spend a lot of time logging out and in despite having set up these accounts numerous times.

The user experience feels outdated generally and could be more intuitive/ visually nicer to work in.

The system is often glitchy and crashes unexpectedly.

Mobile app for iOS could be made more agile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Program, Decent Features"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I like that this program integrates all of the Microsoft lines of products. Each program is efficiently intertwined with the others. The features are great if and when you need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

Some of the functions are hidden and others are clunky. The program needs a good UI overhaul that makes it friendlier and much easier to navigate. It would be helpful if all main functions are out front. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Better for Normal Use, Hard Navigation, Slow"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I loved Microsoft outlook calendar management and invite feature to send the meeting invites. Scheduling, organizing, and filtering emails are now efficiently managed and is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

While using multiple applications Outlook always causes it to hang and it turns into restarting the computer which is a time-consuming process. As a result, sometimes data is lost while working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Outlook; Relevant or Outdated?"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

The nice thing about Microsoft Outlook is that it is very commonly recognized and used by many businesses so it's a familiar application when transitioning from company to company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

After using a more up to date application like Front, Microsoft Outlook feels a bit outdated in some of its methods and functionality. It doesn't work as well as it could for a shared inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Messy, but Does the Job"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

The integration options have proven very useful. Outlook will work with most other programmes where you may need it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

The UI is messy. There are features and buttons everywhere and it's not easy to customise your display to only see what you need. Setting up rules to decide what is shown in the "other" inbox is a pain and the algorithm which initially decides is very janky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outlook Review"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I'm used to it, and it's very secure, meeting high standards for security. The main reason it seems like we continue to use it is that we've always used it, so people know how to use it and what to expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Most of the best features, but not all of them."
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

Outlook is the default business email client, it works, it is there, the interface is clean, but it lacks decent integration with other microsoft apps. It loads quickly and is clean and efficient as a desktop/web-based email client. There are good in-built contacts and spell check etc. Security seems good from what I have seen and have known from others, spam filters also appear to be effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

It does not integrate well with office programs like excel, word etc; it should all work seamlessly, but yet you are juggling different windows, clicking edit in-browser or switching to the desktop app, which is not in keeping with the whole office 365 mentality that Microsoft wants to portray. Also, if you then end up crossing over with google docs, apple pages et al., then this really struggles to provide a slick service, so you are somewhat locked into one ecosystem. "Decent"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

It works on most computers, and most people are familiar with it. It is relatively user-friendly. It works well on a phone or computer, or tablet. Outlook has an autofill feature and a strong spell check. This application contains clear sections for unread and deleted mail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

The application will often mark an email that I have already read as unread mail. This issue sometimes persists even when I click on and read the email. The interface is not as clean and streamlined as the Gmail interface. I also wish that I could change the sizing and spacing of the columns, making the inbox larger and the selected mail section smaller. I have also gotten a number of spam emails in my inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
