MS Outlook is office standard in the U.S., so having used it for many years, I have a relative ease of use. My work tends to be email intensive too -- not so much email marketing but sending personalized pitches to contacts - so I've always found MS Outlook quite good for managing email chains or searching for particular emails sent/trashed. While using Act!, the integration with MS Outlook was periodically buggy and would require a work-around for templates or technical support. As a legacy user, tech support went from not being included in a one-time licensing fee, to being included in a yearly subscription, to not being included in an ever-increasing yearly subscription that costs significantly more for MS 365, which I use daily compared to Act!, which I do not use daily.
