**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I use BambooHR because it lets me handle many work-related tasks without needing to contact HR directly. I appreciate how I can request PTO, vacation, or sick leave without the hassle of having to do paperwork or go into the office, and I can do it all remotely. I like being able to view my company's employee directory and contact coworkers, sign work documents electronically, and see my pay information or tax documents all in one spot. Accessing my pay information is especially valuable to me. Also, the initial setup of BambooHR was very easy.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Not all features are available in the mobile app. You may need to use a web browser for certain tasks.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BambooHR lets me handle work tasks without going through HR, like requesting PTO or signing documents electronically. I can do it all remotely and access important info like my pay and tax documents in one spot.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I like the small touches like the confetti that goes over updates for birthdays and anniversaries. I like how easy it is to book time off, and track you annual leave across the year. If we didn't have Bamboo HR it would take a lot of work for me to track my allowance, I could easily loose track as well. I like that when I submit  my feedback for my quarterly performancethat it doesn't show my manager straight away and vice versa. It can be difficult to have honest conversations if we have time to prep / rehearse versus speaking off the cuff and in the moment. It loads quickly. It was easy to get setup on when I first joined which helped my onboarding run smoothly. I have not used any AI or integrations, i'm not sure I would find them useful or they would add to what I already use it for. I'm happy with my paycheck being on xero, it feels more secure so I don't think i would want an integration with bamboohr for that.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I don't use all of the areas, performance is only used for quarterlies and not monthly 121s. It can be less customisable for more day to day conversations between me and my manager. I don't like the idea of AI in sensitive / hr topics.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

Its dashboard is clean, well-organized, and easy to understand. Expanding the widgets on the dashboard is a great feature too. Search capabilities are top notch, I am able to find whatever I need to check.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Sometimes the website feels a bit slow, and I don’t think it’s due to my internet connection. Also, the timeline page with information about who’s on leave or whose birthday is coming up can be a little complicated to understand, especially when you’re working at a larger company (around 400–500 headcount and up). I can’t really speak to the pricing, but the onboarding was easy, and the support for my tickets was really fast. The AI integrations are great too—I really like using Ask AI.

I also think that the application integrations and other parts to add links are really great. I think that the app is useful with other apps and on par with the competitors. 

Also, pricing for the app seems really great because of the usefulness to the HR part of the company.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BambooHR solves the problem of slow and inefficient communication between HR, managers, and employees. By keeping employee information, requests, approvals, and HR updates in one centralized platform, it reduces the need for repeated emails and manual follow-ups. This benefits me by saving time, making communication clearer, improving transparency, and helping employees and managers handle HR processes more efficiently.

BambooHR's UI is clean and intuitive everything is easy to find with minimal training needed. It integrates well with common tools, though deeper custom integrations can take some effort. Performance-wise, the platform is reliable and responsive day-to-day. Pricing is reasonable for an SMB, though costs can creep up as you add modules. Support is solid with good onboarding resources. The AI features like the assistant and eNPS tools are a nice touch, though still maturing.

Reporting could be more flexible — building custom reports feels limited compared to dedicated BI tools. Some features like payroll and benefits are heavily US-focused, which isn't ideal.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

I like BambooHR's very open and aesthetically pleasing interface. I like the way that it allows me to focus on items that are important, while also giving important information to me such as who is currently not in the office today and introducing new employees. It allows HR to post important notices and links to important issues. I also really enjoy the leave accrual calculator, which many other similar products are missing. When I first used it, the onboarding process was very streamlined and efficient, as well.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

The main use of BambooHR for the end user is using it for leave, so the other advantages of it (information about other employees, and the directory) are useful, but there is some overlap with information you might receive from other channels (such as Teams or the like). I would probably enjoy more integrations to allow BambooHR to be a more central repository of information rather than a bunch of individual minor services. Otherwise, I have no major issues with the product.

BambooHR is a valuable tool for helping onboard employees and provide them the ability to learn about each other, discover attendence availability, and easily log in one's one leave (while knowing exactly how much you will have at any given time in the future) in a streamlined and easy-to-use interface.

What I like best about BambooHR is its straightforward and user-friendly interface, which makes everyday HR tasks simple to manage. The org chart/tree view is especially helpful for quickly understanding team structure and reporting lines. I also find it very convenient to request leave and easily check annual leave balances in one place. Overall, it saves time and makes HR processes much more organized and accessible.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

One thing I dislike about BambooHR is that it can be hard to navigate to the Inbox, especially when trying to find sent requests. It would also be much better if it had a smoother integration with Slack for notifications and updates. In addition, BambooHR feels limited when it comes to tracking salary reviews, annual bonuses, and similar compensation-related processes. Improving these areas would make the platform much more complete and convenient.

What I like most about BambooHR is how simple and organized it makes HR work. I appreciate that all employee information is stored in one place, which makes it easier to find documents, track leave and keep records updated without relying on multiple spreadsheets or paper files. I also like the employee self-service features because staff can update their information and submit leave requests on their own, which saves time for HR. Overall, it helps streamline processes, improves organization, and makes day-to-day HR tasks more efficient.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

A drawback for me is that the payroll feature is limited to the U.S. The platform is not adaptable to other countries. It would be great that you would be able to use the payroll feature and customize taxes, social security etc. to fit the country.

The main problem BambooHR solves for me is the inefficiency that comes with managing HR processes manually. BambooHR centralizes all employee data in one platform, which reduces errors and saves time because information only needs to be entered once and can be accessed easily when needed.

It also solves the problem of administrative overload in HR. Tasks like tracking leave, managing onboarding paperwork and updating employee records can take up a lot of time if done manually. With automation and employee self-service features, staff can update their own information and submit leave requests, which reduces the number of routine tasks HR has to handle directly.

**What do you like best about BambooHR?**

As an employee, I love how the dashboard shows my annual leave, so I can easily keep track of how many days off I have available. I also like that it lets me submit a leave request for my manager to approve. I don’t have to chase my leader to check the status or ask for approval, because Bamboo HR notifies the relevant stakeholders.

Our HR department has integrated courses on Udemy, so I can click the link directly and see which courses are available for me to complete. I can also see that many files are stored there, and I can find what I need quickly in one place without having to ask anyone else. When I need it, I feel I can trust Bamboo to handle the workload smoothly.

I was onboarded through Bamboo, and it gave me very clear instructions on what to do first and what to do next. That really impressed me and showed how professional the company is. When I uploaded the required files, everything worked reliably and was genuinely helpful.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I think AI chat box not really helpful at the moment because I prompted some simple prompts but it didnt respond. Most of the time is "I'm sorry, I couldn't find specific guidance on how to view other employees in BambooHR." or similar to this.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think BambooHR reduce a lot of manual time and meaningless conversation, I dont need to communicate to HR Dept a lot for tedious things. I can be active from my side and just know that BambooHR will handle the rest. It also reminds me days off that I booked which helps me a lot.

I like that is  very user friendly, the lay out is good. I like that it allows to store password. I like that as a school we can keep connected. I also like that the documents are under one folder and I can review them whenever I need.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Nothing in particular. If I were to add one suggestion, it would be to organize days off, sick days, and unpaid leave a little better. I should be able to view both the days I have scheduled off and the days I’ve already taken off by month. Currently, I don’t see it laid out or organized very well.

It keeps us under one umbrella, and I can communicate well with the administration.

As an employee I am able to see my whole profile, any one from my colleagues have access to reach out to me if I am out of office, the UI is great, I can see my leaves balance clearly. the Integrations are refined and it runs without any lags

I have not found any dislike yet about Bamboo HR but I  can surely give a feedback that it should have a unique portal where an employee can upload the resume of the reference for a job, so the HR team can support and helps in onboarding the new employees.

As an employee, I can getting my all the details at one place. Is is beneficial so we don't need to reach out to HR of the company for every single problems.

What I like best about BambooHR is how it centralizes all employee information in one place. Managing time-off requests, performance reviews, and onboarding processes from a single platform has streamlined my daily workflow significantly. The drag-and-drop interface makes generating reports quick and easy, saving me several hours each week. The mobile app is also a great bonus — I can approve leave requests on the go without needing to be at my desk. Overall, the clean and intuitive design makes navigating the system smooth, even for team members who aren't particularly tech-savvy.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

Uploading documents made me feel insecure. When I upload a document, I need to be sure that only I and the relevant people can see it. I couldn't see this clearly and directly.

BambooHR solves the problem of having employee information scattered across different spreadsheets, emails, and systems. In my previous companies, we relied on separate tools for tracking time off, managing personnel files, and conducting performance reviews, which led to wasted time and frequent errors. With BambooHR, all of these processes are unified in one platform. Leave requests are automatically routed to managers, employee records stay up to date, and I can access reports instantly. This has significantly reduced the time I spend on administrative tasks and allows me to focus on more strategic work.

I use BambooHR for leave management, document signing, and managing our team structure. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and I especially appreciate how straightforward the leave management is and how seamless the document signing feels—both save time and simplify day-to-day HR tasks. The leave management feature is particularly helpful because it makes it easy to request, approve, and track employee leave accurately. Overall, the initial setup was pretty easy as well.

The mobile app still needs improvement, especially when it comes to speed and overall responsiveness. I’d also like to see stronger reporting features, as the current reporting options feel limited.

The interface is very neat, and the summary on the Home page is genuinely helpful—especially for new joiners. It makes it easy to find key information like holidays, leave details, and other updates at a glance.

**What do you dislike about BambooHR?**

I don’t see many integrations with Netsuite. Integration with Productive still seems better, because when someone applies for leave in BambooHR, it reflects in Productive instantly. So, in that sense, the performance is great.

**What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to struggle to keep track of which resources were on sick leave, whether it was planned or unplanned. Now it’s much easier to manage and see at a glance. The org chart is also very helpful for quickly finding the reporting structure and understanding who reports to whom.

I've been using BambooHR for about 8 years, and I find it very easy to request vacation or sick time. What I really like is the clarity around our company's 'open leave' policy and vacation benchmarks. BambooHR makes it incredibly transparent to look up the history for requests, cancel requests, and calculate remaining vacation balances as well as upcoming vacation time accrual and resets. It has made vacation balance and request tracking seamless for our company. The initial setup was effortless for most staff; I just had to log in the first time.

Regarding goal tracking, goals are tracked like a checklist. If my goal is 'send 20 emails' (for example) I create an item for that, and my goal shows 0% complete for the duration of the goal timeframe, until it is complete and suddenly goes to 100%. I would prefer if there was a way to track numeric goals incrementally, but instead I need to maintain a separate document for that.

The app allows me to see my personal details, job information, emergency contacts, documents, and location conveniently. I also noticed that onboarding information and other tasks are laid out clearly, which is very handy for managing my requests.

I'm just not sure if I can suggest some new volunteer days or if there are any options available for that.

The initial setup was easy enough.

I would like to see calendar integration in the future - this would set up the platform so that we can better track leave, etc. I think it would be helpful if we could set up calendar events for the team's annual leave. At the moment, we do that manually when leave has been approved, but I think an integration would save us even more time.

I appreciate having a directory of everyone's email, which saves me from wasting time searching for people. Plus, it shows me who's in the office and who's not, so I don't waste time looking for someone who's not even in the building. The initial setup was simple too; my email was added, and all I had to do was download the app.

Sometimes the app glitches, and I need to close it and reopen it to hit the clock-in button. It takes time to buffer sometimes, and sometimes if I hit the button to clock in and leave the app too soon, it won't actually clock me in.
