What do you like best about Samsara?

The system is very user-friendly for drivers and carriers, and it doesn’t take long to learn. The overview map with weather is also cool for dispatch and safety. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Samsara?

I am not satisfied with Samsara’s support service, as response times are often very long and the assistance provided is usually not very helpful. I would also like to request a review of the drowsiness detection feature, as it has been triggering alerts even when drivers have slept 8–10 hours.

Additionally, there is an issue with trailer location tracking. For example, some trailers were last detected on 10/27/2025. It would be very helpful to have a feature that checks trailer locations daily at a consistent time for inactive trailers/without truck, and every 10 minutes for trailers that are actively connected to trucks. What do you like best about Samsara?

Creating routes and tracking the trucks is very easy to navigate. The drivers mention that the drivers app for the pre-trips as well as for onsite use is easy to use. What do you dislike about Samsara?

The warnings and close calls it provides aren't the most reliable, and I'm not convinced it ever learns to disregard certain scenarios. For instance, whenever a truck is turning a corner on the highway and there's another truck in the opposite lane doing the same, it always issues a close head-on collision warning. What do you like best about Samsara?

What do you dislike about Samsara?

I have a hard time finding the webstore. When we set up our account with Samsara we purchased everything we needed at one time. However, since then we have added to our fleet and we have also had to replace a few items. Each time I had to contact Samsara support to help me place an order because I couldn't find the webstore or I couldn't find the replacement part on the webstore. What do you like best about Samsara?

I love the ease of use and many features. It makes locating a large number of vehicles very simple and I can isolate who sees which assets. We are now using the maintenance program and it has streamlined my job exponentially. Samsara's customer service is very responsive also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Samsara?

Device issues in our cold climate. Some of the parts on the devices, namely screws, are not covered under the warranty and this poses a problem replacing batteries in our unpowered assets.
