The dashboard is really easy to navigate, especially when I'm setting up new users. It removes excuses and workarounds that people might provide when managing their own fleet areas. **What do you dislike about Samsara?** The most recent thing was the Samsara mobile phone, but that has since been updated and is a lot more useful. A big concern for us was also the ability to retrieve footage. If it could have more battery life to retrieve footage at any time instead of just the thirty-hour recording period, that would be a big thing for us as well. **What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Samsara to solve maintenance issues and track fuel usage, helping us monitor trucks and complete inspections proactively. For us, it's practically indispensable. **What do you dislike about Samsara?** Sometimes the key functions are nested within other areas that are non-intuitive. As a somewhat new user, I really wish I could just search a list of all the functions. Yes, there is a search bar, but I wish that there was a long list somewhere of all the functions and operations listed alphabetically. I would love for that list to have a short description of each function, how it is intended to work, and where it is located in the logical menu flow. Sometimes, the design and layout just do not match our use case or my personal thought process, so finding that one specific command, even when I know what its called, can be difficult. **What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we ticket a truck for a delivery we need to know its precise location, both to see if it's ready for a load, or is actually in the physical location we need it to be. This is absolutely crucial data to have real time. **What do you dislike about Samsara?** Mouse wheeling or clicking the +/- to zoom in and out on the map rapidly will cause the reverse desired affect because the location of the button on screen move. What this does when you are trying to zoom in or out very quickly is cause the opposite input to be selected. So you mouse wheel fast to get a large zoom out but in doing that you'll get a zoom IN input and so it'll start to zoom out then zoom in slightly. This is quite frustrating and causes you to slow down you clicks or mouse wheels to stop the reverse input from being selected. **What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to see where our drivers are live lets us accurately and actively avoid potential traffic that will hinder the driver or hazards. Samsara has helped us take our pre and post trips digital, cutting down the number of apps our chauffeurs need to use and digitizing a previously paper-based process. I like the simplicity of the user interface, which means there's a very low barrier to being able to use it. The system tends to hang a lot when I'm updating trips, like entering truck or trailer numbers, and it takes a long time to load. Once I log into Samsara, it takes a while to show the unit number, and it doesn't take the input instantly. This slow performance has definitely ruined the experience lately.
