"Good Overall System"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

It is a big company and you know what you are getting. They are a giant in the business and there is reliability there. Accessing their system is easy and generally it is easy to navigate their system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

It is very one size fits all. The reporting is terrible. It is difficult at best to create custom reports and you often need to pay for ADP to build you a custom report. There is a lack of interface between the various ADP depts. If you need 401k it is one place, payroll is one place and time attendance is another. You can easily spend a ton of time of the phone getting bounced from one to another. In addition if you are not savvy to their systems you can easily miss something but not circling back to another dept. For example if you add a time off code with time and attendance and do not circle back to you payroll manager the time code will not payout properly on a paycheck. This happened to me and I caught it just before payroll went in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Payroll And HR Tasks Organised, Even When Things Get Busy"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

What I like most about ADP is that it handles payroll without much manual effort. Once employee details are set up, salary processing, tax calculations, and payslips run smoothly. I also use it to track attendence and basic HR records, which keeps everything in one place. As we are startup company it help us a lot and easy to use, the self service portal is helpful because employees can check payslip and tax documents on their own without coming to HR for every request. What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

Some sections of the interface feel a bit dated and take to navigate. Making changes like corrections or custom reports can involve multiple steps. Support responses are helpful, but sometimes they take longer than expected for non-urgent issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top-Notch Support with Room for UI Improvement"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

I like the customer service ADP provides. They offer many learning modules for their system, and there is always a customer service agent available to help. The chat feature is great; you get to speak with a live agent (not AI) who can guide you through almost any process. I needed help setting up our benefits options, and the agent on the chat feature walked me through the entire set-up process and stayed on the chat until I had complete confidence to move forward. Although the initial setup of ADP Workforce Now was moderately easy, there were some bumps along the way, but the customer service to get it straightened out was top-notch. What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

I think the recruitment page can be more user-friendly, it takes some time to learn how to navigate it. I was having trouble finding where to re-open a job post after I had closed it. Navigating to that was not very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward Interface, but Reporting Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

I like the user interface that is very straightforward. It's easy to add time for, time and attendance. It's also been helpful to review the hours and make sure that the hours are correct and they make sense. I can easily review the steps. We also really appreciate the way that we're able to track vacation time and know how much hours are left, so that there's no confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

I wish the reporting was easier to use. It's pretty complicated unless you are advanced in reports. I'd love to get easier reporting on how many hours people worked throughout the year, average hours, and things like that. So that's been a challenge. Sometimes the notifications are confusing as well. They'll give me an error message in time cards, for example. And I'm not sure what the error is, and I have to just kinda go in there and investigate and figure it out. It's not very user friendly or intuitive to figure out what the errors are. "Effortless Payroll and Tax Management with Excellent Support"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

As a user, I rely on this for payroll calculations, tax filing, W-2 processing, and related tasks. It synchronizes easily with our accounting software, which is very convenient. We use it on a weekly basis for payroll, and whenever we encounter any issues, customer support has been helpful. The ADP team also implemented the system smoothly within our organization. Overall, it has been a good experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

The report customization options are somewhat limited, so if you require highly tailored reports, you may sometimes need to use Excel to achieve the desired results. Another drawback is the clunky interface, which can make things challenging for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

• Scalability – Works well for mid-sized businesses (50–1,000+ employees) and can grow with the company.

• Payroll Accuracy & Compliance – Automatic tax filing, updates for local/provincial/federal compliance, and strong error-reduction tools.

• Self-Service Portal – Employees can view pay stubs, update personal info, request time off, and access W-2/T4 slips directly.

• Mobile App – Makes it easy for both managers and employees to use features on the go.

• Customizable Reporting – Strong analytics and reporting for payroll, HR, and compliance tracking.

• Integrations – Works with benefits providers, retirement plans, recruiting systems, and other business software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

• Learning Curve – The system can feel complicated, especially for new users or smaller companies without a dedicated HR/payroll team.

• Navigation & Interface – Some find the platform not very intuitive; menus can be confusing or require too many clicks.

• Customization Limits – Reporting and workflows are customizable, but sometimes not as flexible as businesses would like.

• Cost – It’s more expensive than some smaller payroll/HR platforms, which can be tough for startups or small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ADP WFN User for 9 Years"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

The integration available with Marketplace make it easy to use along with Employee Navigator and PointsNorth. Their secure log in options make it impossible for someone to reset someone elses password without contacting our office. I love the ability to manage company News at the click of button from the main screen and it sends out a notification when we update the Mobile news for app users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

The different pages and tabs for updating employee information. It would be nice if everything was available all on one tab or page. Also, it would be great if the employee's could onboard themselves and while this is a feature that is available we have not figured out how to make it work for our process of onboarding. "Effective for HR, But Needs Streamlined Setup and Payroll"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

I appreciate the ease of reporting with ADP Workforce Now, which is made effective by its field grabber capability, streamlining my ability to gather necessary data efficiently. I value the My Life Advisors feature, which our employees heavily utilize, as it provides substantial support and guidance. Additionally, the mobile app enhances my experience with ADP Workforce Now by offering convenience and accessibility, allowing for efficient management of tasks on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

I find certain aspects of the payroll system clunky and manual, which can be cumbersome to deal with. Additionally, some basic functionalities in the benefits administration are either manual or not available, complicating the process further. There is also an issue with guidance when calling for service, as it can be inconsistent and sometimes even inaccurate. Moreover, the initial setup of ADP Workforce Now was not easy, which posed challenges and later caused issues. . Lastly, my likelihood to recommend ADP Workforce Now is moderate, as reflected by my 5 out of 10 rating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The complete package"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

What I find most helpful about ADP WFN is how much it centralizes. I use it for everything from payroll and tax compliance to housing employee documents, acknowledgments, and even training. Having one system where I can run payroll, monitor compliance with California labor laws, assign learning modules, and capture policy acknowledgments saves me from bouncing between different platforms. It also gives me a reliable audit trail, which is huge for HR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

What I find least helpful about ADP WFN is that some parts feel clunky or not very intuitive. For example, uploading documents or assigning training can take more steps than you’d expect, and it isn’t always clear where something should be stored (Company Policy vs. Document Cloud). Reporting is powerful, but it can be time-consuming to build exactly what you need, and small errors can throw things off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Payroll Integration, Needs Better Scheduling"
What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

I appreciate how ADP Workforce Now seamlessly combines both payroll and scheduling needs into one system, which enhances efficiency by eliminating the need for separate applications. I love having the ability to manage payroll, staff schedules, and time cards all through ADP Workforce Now. This comprehensive system gives me better oversight and management capabilities of my business operations. The transition from using physical time cards and a fingerprint scanner to ADP Workforce Now’s integrated payroll system has been tremendously beneficial, making processes smoother and more efficient. The setup of ADP Workforce Now was remarkably smooth, making the transition to this new system less daunting. For payroll management specifically, I find ADP Workforce Now to be highly effective, offering a reliable solution that I rate a 9 out of 10 for its practicality and ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

I find the scheduling feature of ADP Workforce Now to be lacking. My staff are unable to see who they work with, which limits their coordination and planning. Additionally, the scheduling tool is not user-friendly and would greatly benefit from being more intuitive. I would appreciate the ability to color-code different areas of the schedule, as this would enhance clarity and ease of use for organizing shifts. These issues detract from the overall efficiency of using the software for staff scheduling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate ADP Workforce Now for its all-in-one integrated platform, which is crucial for seamless payroll administration and HR management. The system significantly reduces manual errors, ensuring smooth and clear payroll processing. I love the employee self-service mobile app, offering convenience and accessibility to employees. Additionally, the platform provides powerful reporting capabilities, enhancing our ability to extract and analyze data effectively. The accuracy and automation in payroll processing are among the best features, eliminating errors and increasing efficiency. The integration with other software solutions our company uses further enhances its utility and makes it a valuable part of our technological infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

I find the customer support can be improved and the platform offers limited customization. The data migration during the initial setup was a major hurdle and the most challenging part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
