They were able to configure everything we wanted, unlike other systems where the answer was simply "no, it can't do that". We have, now, been able to automate postings from our expense management system directly into our accounting system saving our purchase ledger team a lot of time. Their interface is straightforward/intuitive and could be easily maintained by a non-techy employee. Although the implementation process took longer than I had expected, the consultant made sure we were fully prepared for the scheduled go-live date. We did encounter a few hiccups, which is to be expected with a brand new implementation, but they were always available to resolve any issues promptly, even with their busy schedule. Their platform was initially very intimidating to someone like me who doesn't know anything about building integrations, but after the training I received and watching the consultant make changes for us, I feel a lot more comfortable going in there to manually run workflows or make changes to the schedule. Their support staff is courteous and responsive as well. I worked with one so far, and they always responded within a day and kept me updated on progress. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** I really have to be nitpicking to find something I dislike about DataBlend, but if I have to list something, it would be that I wish we could make some minor changes to the workflows we have. The support team can help with errors, but if we want to add something new, we have to sign off on a change order. This was my first time running a project like this so i could have potentially be slightly naïve initially. We are able to upload one file and DataBlend does the rest of the work to create 3 journal entries. Whenever I encounter an error, I can easily step into a workflow to identify and resolve the issue. I also find the Customer Support team to be prompt and helpful. I want to give special mention to Emily, who personally added another step to our workflow to make things even easier for us. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** It's quite frustrating to be logged out of the website after only around 10 minutes, especially since I have to receive a code on my personal iPhone every time I want to log back in. As a daily user, this has resulted in a significant number of messages from the login service accumulating on my phone. I went through implementation with the founder of the product, and it was such a white glove experience. I've also been able to get support from him directly as well. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** It can be a little buggy at times, especially if you're pulling in a lot of data or are trying to copy over settings from another file **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We primarily use Google Sheets as our way of sharing information to our leadership team, so we needed a way to get Adaptive information out and formatted without having to manually go through Excel each month. They are able to find solutions to integrate multiple platforms. Originally, we started small and we now have multiple connections and are working on projects where our current IT could complete, but timing does not work and DataBlend is able to assist and put in place faster **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** They are busy and growing, which is good and bad, but we have great support and sometimes the delay is on our team not having time to move a project forward **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** DataBlend can extract data from our ERP system and push it to an SFTP site for FloQast to pick up. They are also assisting with extracting data from Concur and pushing it to our ERP for automatic posting. We also had issues getting the connector to work between Concur and NetSuite, so we canceled that and engaged DataBlend to connect and push data to NetSuite. Since we have multiple companies in two different ERP, they are taking the monthly account transactions and posting in the ERP we use for reporting, eliminating manual entries along with being able to have standard processes for reporting from one system. We implemented Concur AP and DataBlend is taking the entered, approved and pending approval invoices and pushing to our ERP, allowing proper reporting from the general ledger and eliminating manual entries. We are working on a project to connect SalesForce to Concur so when individuals enter expenses, they have a dropdown list of individuals to select as attendees at events rather than a freeform field. This increases reporting accuracy and allows tracking to determine if we are receiving any benefit.
