The integration with our CRM makes the assessment part of the interview process almost entirely automated and saves us a ton of time.

This really helps Talent Acquisition to narrow down pool of candidates needed for the specific position. With lots of available battery of test for different specialization.

Accuracy of the overall test results used in percentile.

No major problems encountered yet, but this helps us to lessen turnaround time to process candidates onboarding.

**What do you like best about HR Avatar?**

The wide variety of online assessments to send to potential candidates has been the most helpful aspect of HR Avatar. I'm able to select an assessment based job requirements and the skills necessary to be successful. So far, the assessments have been spot on in the summary of the candidate. Also, the interview guide is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

The earning of credits is a little confusing. And it doesn't tell me when I'm low to purchase more assessments.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me insight into how the candidate will perform in the job and how well they will acclimate to our culture; we are a unique business that not everyone can be successful in. It provides great probing questions for the interview based on the assessment results. I like that it validates who is completing the assessments.

We are a little confused on why you are not receiving a low credit message. Our system sends automated messages as soon as your credit balance falls below a certain threshold and again when all credits are used up or expired.

**What do you like best about HR Avatar?**

It's interesting to be able to compare how individuals react in different situations, and some pieces may be able to more reliably measure outcomes then others (ie data entry/correctness; mathematical ability)

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

I am not sure I agree that all the outcomes they claim to have can truly be measured by this sort of test, such as creativity, extrovert-ness, building relationships, etc. Not quite sure how that can be properly demonstrated in a 30 minute virtual simulation.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it is helpful for current teams to take as it can help explain some team member differences and how we approach the same problem in different ways. It may be able to provide a sort of baseline for the team so individuals know how to better play to each others strengths.

While our assessments concentrate on characteristics that have been proven to be measurable, no measurement is 100% accurate and false positives and negatives can occur. **What do you like best about HR Avatar?**

I like that it pairs with ADP and sends automatic emails for the assessments to be completed. The fact that you can combine more than one assessment in a single status drop-down is PERFECT! Also, Mike and Matt were very helpful in answering all my questions and getting the assessments implemented.
I look forward to seeing our candidates' results and utilizing more assessments.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

There are sooo many options!!!! It will take time to go thru each available assessment. The filters to find specific ones are helpful but I have found that some desired options are not available to search.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR Avatar is solving our issue of confirming qualified candidates. We now have the ability to confirm identity during application with video proctor and presenting IDs.

Easy to use, the price point is reasonable, gives your great feedback about a potential candidate.

The overall scoring sometimes doesn't always make sense. You really do have to look at each individual category to determine if the score the candidate made matches your criteria.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR Avatar gives us an additional tool to evaluate our potential manager candidates. It helps put the best candidates over the top and is one additional step in assisting us in weeding out candidates. I have never believed assessments should be the sole determining factor in selecting a potential candidate, but it should assist you and give you more insight into the candidate's skills and abilities, and that's exactly what HR Avatar does for us.

The questions are applicable to what we're looking for. They are a lot more practical than theoretical. I didn't use any tools with this software. It's better than the competition.

It is a ton of information to digest. I appreciate it, but you really have to dig into the report to get what you need out of it. I really don't know that it could be improved.

Very easy to review the tests and the questions are relative to the position in which the candidate is applying for.

I see no problems with HR Avatar. The scale helps see where they are good and where they need improvement. Yes it helps us be more productive and our performance has increased.

**What do you like best about HR Avatar?**

Well, it is not perfect this is great tool that can be used to eliminate canidiates before interviewing them to at least make sure they have the basic competencies. I will no longer hire anyone until they have taken this test.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

The information can sometimes be difficult to interpret fully; however their support team can assist you. Obviously, this does not ensure that every hire will work out in the end but you can at least have an idea of what their basic skill sets lie and a little about their personality as well.

**Recommendations to others considering HR Avatar:**

This product is fantastic for those that want to streamline their hiring process and better ensure that they only interview quality candidates. While it can't predict all aspects of what makes a good employee, it does a decent job all the less. I would not hire anyone before having have had them take one of their pre-employment tests.

It helps eliminates potential hires before interviewing them. It helps ensure that new hires have a basic understanding of office environment and can work well in an office.

All tests per position are readily available to all candidates. I also wanted to highlight that the POC is very helpful and always available whenever I need help in using the HR Avatar.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

Test Results/Report downloading takes time. I suggest that there will be an option to automatically send ALL the test results all at once to the candidate's email.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It resolves the filtering of candidates in terms of Technical knowledge and career match. When we started to use HR avatar, we lessened the wrong hires. It help us hire the most qualified candidates.

We no longer need to set aside scheduled time to interview potential candidates. Virtual interviews seem to diminish candidates' nervousness when interviewing and allow them to be more honest and open. When candidates follow instructions for reference checks, we also gain valuable feedback from their references.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

I still need to follow up with candidates and their references to get them to complete video interviews and reference checks. Some candidates have a hard time accepting and using technology.

Efficiency in hiring, taking some of the responsibilities off of me.

**What do you like best about HR Avatar?**

The best feature is the ability to select from such a wide range of positions to test on. In addition, the different qualities/skills it tests are some of the qualities that we are looking for.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

One thing I think would improve the platform quite a bit would be more depth on the results and what they mean for the specific person. It gives a general rundown of what each quality means but it may say the same thing for several different people that test quite differently in some areas. A more personalized report summary would be amazing. One that encompasses all the qualities and how all the results tie together.

HR Avatar is helping with the initial information gathering of candidates. It is the beginning of the screening process that helps narrow down the pool of candidates.

It's simple to use as far as scheduling the assessments. The reports are available pretty quickly and are easy to read. The candidates that I've sent the assessments to haven't had any complaints.

My company only uses HR Avatar for its assessments and I havrnt expereinced any issues with them. Im unable to provide feedback on any other services that this company may offer.

We are a small business and won a big contract. Had to onboard 100+ people in 30 days. We had no trouble finding candidates but needed to hire people with the right skills and verify their communication skills. HR Avatar skills tests and 1-way interviews enabled us to onboard all candidates on schedule. it gave us objective data to inform hiring decisions. Wow.

The ability to run an online assessment of candidates, their references, and interviews through a single platform has been hugely helpful to our hiring managers and administrators.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

The inability to create several defaults for things like reference checks and format of the interviews, combined with being unable to adjust the date/time settings, has been frustrating.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to interview candidates in a virtual environment that closely mimics our office interview process with hard data captured by interviewers and candidates alike has been very helpful and allows us to make informed decisions of strong candidates for hire.

The site is pretty easy to use. They do not bother me a lot (thank you). We do not do a lot of hiring so the pay as you go is a huge bonus for us. They charge by candidate/test and if you "bundle " the test together, there is only one charge. The price is VERY reasonable. had a few employees use it and it matched their results from another company so it seems accurate.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

The browser back button DOES NOT WORK! you get "Confirm Form Resubmission" every time you use it. I was told that it is for security to which my response is how come this is the only site that I use that does this. I have a 5-button mouse so the back button is just a click with my thumb.

We are weeding out future problems before hiring.

the system attached wherein it can easily detect if the examinee cheats... I like it. Also the way the system captured all the things that the examinee did during the test.  Great Job and Kudos to the developer.

maybe because of the slow internet connection that being the examinee during the simulation that some of the examinees cannot be found on the screen during the onset of the test

This system is very good for conducting an online verification of the applicants most especially today in the new normal.

In using the system, it would only require fee personnel to serve as online proctors. This is the new way of conducting online examinations despite the pandemic that we are facing right now.

HRAvatar's online assessments are an excellent value and a very effective tool to inform our hiring process.  But the automatic reference checking was an unexpected and surprisingly effective feature I did not expect.  It made the process of gathering reference checks so easy.

Although I really liked the video capture feature of candidates while taking the assessment, to ensure the candidate is who the candidate says they are (no cheating), many of the screenshots of the candidate were tough to see and the integrity score seemed a bit questionable.  Overall, this is a minor issue in regard to the overall effectiveness of the product.

I like the interview scenarios that require interaction from the interviewee.

Sometimes I become confused about how many credits are needed to administer a test.  It looks like I have enough, so I begin administering a test, then the system suggests that I need more.  I had bought more credits before and learned later that I didn't need to do that.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR Avatar allows me to (1) weed out those candidates that are too lazy to tell me more about themselves, (2) evaluate candidate comprehension skills, as well as (3)  evaluate their writing skills.  As a benefit, I get another data point that helps me understand the candidate better before making a hiring decision.  My employees need to communicate well with customers verbally and in writing, so HR Avatar helps me find those people.  I hired one guy even though he didn't take the test because I was in a hurry to hire.  He didn't work out due to performance reasons.  Now, I don't hire anyone until they take that test (no exceptions).

It has a stockpile of categories (anything you can think of) to select from when building our customized assessment tools. The vast diversity of selection and their interactive avatars are the absolute BEST!

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

It does not provide an "option" to be charged for an incomplete assessment and assumes we would rather keep the credit rather than view the incompleted results of the potential candidate. Currently, we have to go through the back office to have this done (take the credit and provide us with the incompleted results). Automate it and done. Save everyone the time of back-and-forth emails. From a business position, why not offer that option to the customer when the potential to increase revenue earnings with such an option is prevalent. It's just too much of a hasle. IMO

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an internal assessment we've designed using Thinkific. With HR Avatar as an added layer, those that complete our internal assessment are further vetted using their tool. We've discovered that not everyone has the requisite skills they provide within their resume and during the interview process. HR Avatar has helped us identify more multifunctional workers that are better qualified for our company, which gives us an edge with our clients asking for more workers like the one provided before. Because the quality and caliber of our workforce have increased using HR Avatar's vetting tools, it's created a correlating demand from our client base for more like workers that can deliver the results they're seeking.

Depending on your industry, you may want to create a custom test with questions specific to your needs. With HR Avatar this is easily done. We even had them add our custom test to an existing test and created our standard Test Battery.

Using HR Avatar has allowed us to screen out employees prior to beginning the interview process. This not only saves potentially bad hires, but time and money as well. I remeber well the time before we found HR Avatar. Our employees were of a much lower caliber. They could be suddenly agressive, damge tools and equipment, or otherwise act out. Since using HR Avatar we have never again experienced this caliber of employee. We don't always hit a Home Run with HR. But we never strike out like we used to.

There are some accuracy issues with the interview process. We always meet with the applicant before getting a conditional offer, which can help clear up those inaccurate readings.

The interview results are fun to watch, but the score isn't dependable to consider when assembling a hire list. Some applicants have been able to type their answers as opposed to record them.

I think the most unique element of the HR Avatar assessment is the interactive video exercises that focus on specific jobs and create real-life settings for applicants to perform in.  I also really like the ability to pay per assessment.

**What do you like best about HR Avatar?**

First and foremost, the team over at HR Avatar is quick to respond to support requests - whether it be a question or inquiry into why a user had a particular experience. A close second is that HR Avatar's algorithms help prevent candidate cheating and also helps identify when the candidate's answers/responses are genuine. Also, HR Avatar spends time revisiting their assessments for improvements.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

I do not dislike anything about the services offered by HR Avatar.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems - I wish there was a way to have quicker access to test batteries instead of navigating the menu, but that's a convenience desire only.

**What do you like best about HR Avatar?**

The system does a great job at presenting real life work scenarios simulating a day in the life and then assessing a candidates ability to perform the real life work.

**What do you dislike about HR Avatar?**

There are alot of options, so it can take a little while to figure out which exact tests/roles within the system that matches the role you want the new hire for.   All in, the help they provide is great, and responsive.

**What problems is HR Avatar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to solve the issue of screening a plethora of candidates quickly.  Being able to focus on the candidates that are competent for our roles.
