You get what you pay for, except in this case, you aren't the end user - so your employees get what you pay for. **What do you dislike about Benefit Resource Inc.?** 7+ hour hold times to speak with a customer service resprenstative. If you call in the middle of the day and request a callback, if they don't get to you before the end of the day, you never receive a callback. If you send them a message or letter, they often simply don't respond. Agents aren't empowered to take steps toward the resolution of a problem. Instead, they file a ticket and let you know that within a week or two, you'll get a follow-up. A follow-up that, in my experience, never actually occurred. **What problems is Benefit Resource Inc. solving and how is that benefiting you?** If you're thinking about using Benefit Resource to manage your benefits — please reconsider for the sake of your employees. I understand you probably feel that it's an economical and cost-effective way to outsource your HSA, FSA, or COBRA management, but at the end of the day, your employees will be frustrated in every interaction with BRI. Ultimately, your employees and former employees won't silo that feeling of helplessness and contempt as they deal with Benefit Resource. They will start to realize that you, as an employer, chose to put them through the pain and misery of trying to circumnavigate the long hold times and non-response to written communication. You'll be lucky if the employee simply comes to G2 to write a bad review of BRI, instead of going to that other review site where people review their employers publicly. I don't mean that to be taken lightly — that's how damaging working with Benefit Resource might be if you use them as a vendor. At the end of the day, cost savings have to be weighed against the potential frustration you're putting your valued team members through. ### 2. I elected full amount I could to use out of my paychecks.. They pay for NOTHING!! I could not even buy advil at a store it was declined! When I called they have the worst customer service! The lady Alley maybe was her name, was sooo rude to me I had to hang up on her. They told me I needed a preauth from my doctor to buy vitamins with my card!! I have had other fsa cards with other companies and they were nothing like this awful company! What sucks is I already signed up for this and can't get out of it for a year.. Please if you are looking for a company to use for your employees DO NOT use them your employees will be very dissatisfied! The app is terrible, terrible customer service and this company SUCKS. I am so disappointed my company chose to use them and other coworkers have said the same thing we are all letting HR know how dissatisfied we are with them in hopes to not use them again next year! **What do you like best about Benefit Resource Inc.?** Literally NOTHING! They are the worst FSA service I have ever used. **What do you dislike about Benefit Resource Inc.?** Terrible customer service! You can't even use the fsa card to buy advil or vitamins! Completely useless for health needs! I'll be shocked if I can get my doctor bills covered with this awful card! Also be prepared they take months to even get your card out to you! **Recommendations to others considering Benefit Resource Inc.:** Loosen your restrictions! A person putting their own money into this fsa card should be able to buy freaking advil without bring declined! Vitamins without a doctor preauth!! We can keep our receipts and handle our own irs audits we do not need someone holding our money hostage and treating us like children! **What problems is Benefit Resource Inc. solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing solved! ### 3. It is simple to use as and administrator and user. **What do you like best about Benefit Resource Inc.?** That it is so easy to submit requests and check your balances. **What do you dislike about Benefit Resource Inc.?** It can take quite a bit of time for things to get updated. **Recommendations to others considering Benefit Resource Inc.:** Be sure to look at the reports that they provide. They can be very useful for other HR tasks. **What problems is Benefit Resource Inc. solving and how is that benefiting you?** BRi is an easy way for employees to keep updates with their benefits. Their smartchip card that pairs with our FSA, HSA and Commuter benefit is convenient and easy to use. It knows the difference between the 3 benefits but allows the simple use of 1 card. ### 4. Also like that it's tax free reimbursement. **What do you dislike about Benefit Resource Inc.?** I would like to have something on the site that shows me the progress from submission to being reviewed to delivery of reimbursement. **Recommendations to others considering Benefit Resource Inc.:** Particularly helpful for non-profits where employees support raise. It's a way to have reimbursement happen tax free and not out of your paycheck. **What problems is Benefit Resource Inc. solving and how is that benefiting you?** Way to cover medical expenses that don't come straight out of pocket. ### 5.
