What do you like best about Jotform?

We can tailor it to our specific needs. As a disability organization with several distinct programs, we’ve found that JotForm makes it easy to keep each program organized and manage them separately without confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jotform?

Sometimes it’s difficult to log in. I’m not sure why, but if we wait a bit or try again an hour or so later, we’re usually able to get in.

Also, returning parents have to refill all of the previous years’ camp forms instead of simply logging in, updating their existing information, and registering the same kiddo for a new camp session. We have to save historical data each year, so we can’t continue to use the same app year after year.

When using the app with tables, it would also be helpful if each line corresponded to the first form, so we can quickly see which paperwork is missing for each registrant, rather than having each form treated separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can streamline this process by adding a Request Update action button in Jotform Tables, which allows you to email submitters directly and request updates. "Modern Form Builder With Helpful, Step-by-Step Integrations"
What do you like best about Jotform?

I’m mostly happy that Jotform has brought the drag-and-drop functionality to its forms, since that’s how most platforms work now. I also like how easy it is to set up integrations, and when something isn’t obvious upfront, they guide you through it. For example, I wanted to link a form to ActiveTrail to automate the creation of our email list, but you can’t do that directly and have to go through Zapier. The prompts explaining how to set it up were helpful, and I think that was a smart move on their end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jotform?

When I’m editing forms, I don’t like having to click on Properties before I can edit the title and subtext. It would be much nicer if Properties opened automatically as soon as I click on an element, so I can make those changes right away.

It also would have been helpful to have a clearer, always-visible indication that my changes were saved, even when I scrolled down. I didn’t like having to scroll back up just to confirm whether everything saved.

Jotform’s other features also weren’t very clear upfront, and I think it would have been nice if it guided you more on what it has to offer throughout the creation process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

2. To clarify, only HIPAA compliance is locked under the Gold plan. Payment gateways, however, are available even in the free plan, so you can integrate them without needing to upgrade.

3. If you ever need higher limits, you can upgrade anytime, and you can also downgrade when you no longer need them. Upgrading and downgrading can be done easily from your account settings. Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/331-how-to-upgrade-my-account.

4. If you experience occasional lag in the form editor, you can report the issue directly in our Help Center, and we'll be glad to help: https://www.jotform.com/contact.

What do you like best about Jotform?

I like using Jotform because it ensures I have the media releases needed from a legal standpoint. It does a great job notifying me when a new release is completed and automatically stores them in my Google Drive, keeping everything organized which is super helpful. I enjoy its ease of use and the fact that it syncs with Google Drive, a tool I'm already familiar with. It helps me keep all the received media release forms in one location and saves me time by eliminating the need to manually move them from my email to another folder. What do you like best about Jotform?

I like that there are many customizations available. I spent a good amount of time looking for a platform that could handle my specific needs for to create an order form, and jotform was able to tick all the boxes as well as some I hadn't thought of yet. It was relatively easy to set up my form, and when I ran into some confusion, I sent it to their support team and was surprised by how quickly (and correctly) my question was answered. I do wish that reporting was a little more robust and/or easier to understand, at least for item order forms, specifically. There are some customizations not possible within the item ordering module that aren't possible because of the way it's handled, but overall it is doing the job for me. What do you like best about Jotform?

Jotform is incredibly versatile. We are a nonprofit theatre company and use this Jotform in almost every department - audition sign ups, contracts, board member pledges, applications, and so much more. Anytime we need to gather information, we immediately go to Jotform because it is so easy to build forms and collect responses. When responses come in, the inbox and data spreadsheet are perfect to share with directors or collaborators. I almost always have a Jotform tab open because I use it nearly every day. What do you like best about Jotform?

I love how easy it is to generate a customized form for my company or my clients that I can integrate into my processes. My clients and team members love the user experience and the ease of implementing forms within a website, email, or process. One feature my previous software used to have was the ability to add an image choice for the multiple-choice questions. What do you like best about Jotform?

I use Jotform everyday to manage a single embedded form on my WordPress website that collects contact and inquiry details from the Contact Us page. I’m on the Starter (free) plan and embedding the form was very easy. I copied the embed code from Jotform, added it to a Shortcode block in my page editor and the form displayed immediately without any technical setup.

The platform is extremely easy to use. Adding fields, checkboxes, drop-downs, recaptcha and conditional logic is intuitive and I can update the form quickly whenever I need to change labels or rearrange fields. I also check and adjust this form regularly, so it fits naturally into my workflow and I’m always confident it works as expected.

Jotform offers a huge library of free templates, which made getting started much faster. I customized the form using multiple features, including submission management, logic rules and various field types. Managing submissions is simple - I can view, sort and export entries easily, which saves time compared to manually handling emails. Even though I’m only using one form, the combination of templates and features makes it feel very capable and flexible.

I haven’t integrated Jotform with other software yet, but embedding it into WordPress was seamless and worked perfectly the first time. Whenever I’ve had questions, customer support has been responsive, clear and helpful, even on the free plan, which makes maintaining the form stress-free.

Overall, Jotform is reliable, easy to implement, feature-rich for a free plan and fits smoothly into my website workflow. It makes managing form submissions effortless and ensures I can keep my website organized and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jotform?

Overall, I’m happy with Jotform, but the free Starter plan has a couple of limitations. The 100 MB available space feels quite low and increasing it to 1 GB would make the free plan much more practical. The monthly form views, currently capped at 1,000, can also be reached quickly even on a moderately visited website, so raising this limit to at least 5,000 would be very helpful.
