It is literally the only reason I am using Jotform. **What do you dislike about Jotform?** Almost everything... support is bad, they never actually solve an issue they just push it off. Case in point that the same issues have existed in their support channel for literal years. As a PM myself, their features are clunky and hard to understand - I have no less than 100 ways they could make their product better. The ONLY problem they solve is delayed charging via Stripe, which other form providers don't offer. I have only created one form for my very first course online but hope to use it many times in the future to create forms. There a many features that i used including payment gateway using stripe, as well as adding images for the product i was offering. Great product overall and was so easy to add to by wordpress website. **What do you dislike about Jotform?** I wish they had a cheaper option for new business that are just starting to create online payment and sign up options. **What problems is Jotform solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was able to create a form on my wordpress site so i could have potential customers sign up for my very first online course. However, after trying to sort out the difference between submissions and payments i find that the free platform only allows 10 payments. I prefer the integrated Microsoft suite (forms to excel with flow determining actions in the back end) but that has been overwhelming to most of our staff where as Jotform's features are similar and have been used very well. **What do you dislike about Jotform?** I use it because the vast majority of staff seem to much prefer it. Access has been an issue. The brand promise is... promising. Just doesn't fully deliver. It allegedly can be HIPAA compliant. That's good. There is some easy control over styling, but you will have to know CSS if you want to have any real control. **What do you dislike about Jotform?** Where to start... We tried this after a colleague said they were trying it. If you are using a Worpress site and think you can use their Wordpress plugin to add a form on your site, you would be wrong. It doesn't work. After many support ticket comments back and forth where I got a new support person each time who didn't seem to have read the previous ticket comments, all they could tell me was that I should iFrame the form. It's 2022. So, expect that. I eventually gave up. The form never made it live on the page. In spite of that, I received a spam submission. I again placed a support ticket. Same thing. A new person almost every time. If I was lucky, they would have a vague understanding of the words I typed. But I wasn't very lucky. Ultimately, they told me that someone must have done a google search looking for contact forms and found it that way (???) because, whether you like it or not, any form you create with them has a public URL on their site. Yes, you can make the form private, but that means people can only see it if you invite them. That's useless for a contact form on a website. So, understand that going in. There is a captcha you can add, but anyone who has worked with forms will understand the limitations of that. Finally, after having signed up, I get a sales call from a guy who wants us to upgrade to the "Enterprise" package for around $4K a year. The plan I got was $234/year with one user, and it would seem the only meaningful difference to us would be that we could add additional users with the Enterprise plan. Yes, I'm sure there all sort of other really rad things included in that, like custom urls and hopefully better support, but nothing that makes the simple act of getting a contact form on a web page any easier. You don't get a working Worpress plugin for the $4K. I more or less laughed at the guy. Not worth a 1,600% increase in cost for most people, I imagine. **Recommendations to others considering Jotform:** Just know that it has limitations. Depending on your needs, there are better options. **What problems is Jotform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Well, just trying to get a HIPAA-compliant contact form onto a web page. Easier said than done. Sometimes our submitted forms would disappear into the abyss, other times they would not submit at all, and occasionally our field technicians wouldn't be able to access the forms at all. The drag and drop editor makes form creation a breeze. For the price, you get a lot for your money. **What do you dislike about Jotform?** Form submissions are not easy to view - the system appears archaic and unintuitive. Submissions are NOT saved for incomplete form entries! Unless a user specifically saves their progress, incomplete submissions are NOT retrievable. This is a big, big glaring omission in my opinion. FormAssembly does not have this restriction. In addition, the "extra" widgets that you have to access for formulas and other features are clunky and unintuitive. The Zoho connector, while it works, is basic and takes FOREVER to configure. It feels like a first draft of what the finished product should be. When comparing to FormAssembly (which admittedly costs like 7x the price) the connectors are lacking in functionality. They don't share why specific fields don't connect. More importantly, if you for some reason "mismatch" a field type when connecting, there is NO error log! You are simply left to guess which field connection was the "wrong" one. For an organization like ours, we have over 50 (sometimes 100) field connections. When the entire job fails and you can't even isolate which field is causing problems, that's a huge time waster. I found it shocking that even upon request, the support team was unable to provide logs of errors. Yikes. We've had to deal, but we'll likely be leaving JotForm in the long run for that reason. **What problems is Jotform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have an online application that respondents complete. It's relatively long/complex. Answers are then sent to our CRM (Zoho). It's nice that they have all these extra "widgets" that you can use in their forms - but the process of adding them into your form is convoluted, and they don't visually interface with the existing form elements very well. There are definitely lots of ways to view your submissions easily. Aside from that, we are about to launch a new form submissions page called Tables. This is going to be exciting because there are vast features that you would really find useful. 2. Saving the form's progress is really easy. You only have to enable an option in your form settings and that's it. You will then be able to see a save button in your form beside the submit button and clicking it will save your progress.
