## Ibexa DXP Reviews
  ### 1. Modern CMS solution with User Friendly experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maksym M. | Sr. Director of E-commerce Applications & Engineering, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

- Plenty of modern features that make managing large content quantities easy
- Ease of use for our audience of 1000+ users based on their feedback
- Easy to integrate with (we utilise headless capabilities to the max)
- Great customer support who are not just giving standard robotic answers, but are quite technical and can jump on a call to troubleshoot things down to the DevOps level and Development.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

While it may not be a problem in Europe, it is not easy to find professional development resources that can maintain the system in the Middle East. Although a few development partners have been introduced in the region, the selection isn't as rich.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing large content quantity: we have a centralised Ibexa DXP instance where 1000+ of our clients are managing their content for our digital channels. This includes quality control and various approval processes.
Marketing campaigns and quick content assembly: we also utilise Page Builder functionality for Landing Pages creation for marketing campaign purposes.
Central content repository: Ibexa DXP is at the core of our digital channels when it comes to content distribution. Website, iOS and Android Mobile apps, and Microservices for external partners' consumption all fetch the content from Ibexa for the subsequent front-end display.

  ### 2. A Modern, Flexible Platform That Empowers Our Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Svitlana L. | Digital platform manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

What I really appreciate about Ibexa DXP is how it has enabled us to centralize all our content management and give ownership back to our internal team. The intuitive interface, user-friendly page builder, and the ability to reuse assets across markets have made it much easier to manage multiple websites efficiently. The platform is flexible enough to allow us to personalize and scale as we grow, and the workflows and approval processes help maintain brand consistency while still allowing local flexibility. Overall, it’s a modern solution that supports our digital transformation and future ambitions, like e-commerce and customer portals.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

At this early stage, we haven't encountered major drawbacks, but because we're still rolling out and expanding, there are some uncertainties about how well the blueprint approach will scale across all markets. Additionally, while the platform is highly customizable, implementing new features can depend on our internal capacity and workforce, which sometimes slows down our ambitions.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Ibexa DXP is solving for us is the ability to manage content centrally, while still being able to maintain individual information across our markets.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank you for your review Svitlana, We are very happy to hear that you find the platform so powerful. We have indeed put a lot of effort into making this a platform you can grow with and its very nice to hear you mention your future ambitions. Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have particular topics you would like to learn more about.

  ### 3. Ibexa DXP, a versatile and highly customisable platform for online experiences

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle A. | Senior Technical Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

1. Very clean back end that allows us to keep a structured architecture 2. The platform is flexible and allows us to create many great new features and functionalities 3. The ability to set permissions on anything you can do in the platform, which enables us to have people from all around the world work in one system 4. The community around the platform creating 3rd party plugins and other solutions to add to our instance 5. The wide range of features built within and openness to work with external developers who have created features for the platform 6. Their partner programs and willingness to provide assistance

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

1. Sometimes bugs you find will not be fixed in your current version of the platform and you need to upgrade to fix them 2. Managing permissions on very low level, like field level, can be difficult and you need to be careful of them breaking 3. Sometimes new features release can break custom features you might have developed, so it is necessary to test new release versions carefully

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform allows us to more granulary setup a permission structure for our complex organization, enabling proper governance and process management.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thanks so much for your thorough review Michelle. This is much appreciated. We are very happy to hear that Ibexa DXP works well for you and has been so for many years.

The bugs you discover in our platform should be handled without you having to do big upgrades but there can be edge cases as you point out. With our promise of supporting a long term release for many years we do recognize that big corporations carefully need to plan upgrades to validate that everything (including your custom development) is working as expected.

Please note that with recent changes in how we ship updates to our DXP, bringing what we call LTS Updates we also aim to improve how you can add new features in simpler steps. We are aware that while working well we can still do more with regards to simplify upgrades.

  ### 4. A CMS that grows with us – Ibexa as a strong partner for our global B2B communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina D. | Team Lead Online-Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa CMS is particularly impressive due to its strong multisite and multilingual functionality. For our international B2B company, which operates 38 websites in 28 languages, the platform offers centralized, efficient management and a consistent user experience across all markets – a clear competitive advantage.

And even with a small team, we are able to manage this multitude of websites and languages. The team praises the simple user interface compared to the old system. It's easy to train, easy to understand, and very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

This point is rather due to the complexity of the requirements: The initial implementation and adaptation to our complex business processes requires a great deal of effort and specific expertise. Therefore, close collaboration with experienced Ibexa partners was and remains essential for international rollouts.

The external, third-party-managed hosting was "a bit bumpy" during the initial go-lives. However, together with our partners and support, we were able to manage it well.

The tree structure is somewhat inflexible in places; we need cues like icons as information to quickly identify content.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small digital team responsible for 38 websites in 28 languages, we needed a solution that could simplify content management across markets without compromising on quality or speed. Ibexa’s flexible multisite and multilingual capabilities allow us to centralize control while giving local teams the autonomy they need.

The platform grows with us – whether it's integrating new features, expanding into new regions, or adapting to evolving business needs. This flexibility, paired with a future-proof architecture, ensures we're not just managing today's requirements but are also well-prepared for tomorrow’s digital challenges.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Hello Christina,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We really appreciate it.
We are thrilled that you find Ibexa DXP to working well for you and we are very happy to hear that you were able to sort of the bumps you did experience with regards to hosting your site.

I noticed your comment on lacking icons to find the right type of content in your content tree. I wanted to bring to your attention (in case you have not yet seen it) that developers can customize this following: https://doc.ibexa.co/en/latest/administration/back_office/back_office_elements/custom_icons/#customize-content-type-icons. Although we cannot provide these icons directly it is very much prepared for you to add your own domain specific icons. Do reach out if you have any further questions.

  ### 5. Ibexa offers a clean, well‑structured framework that developers appreciate for its clarity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

What I like most about Ibexa DXP is its combination of flexibility and structure. The platform offers a clean, well‑designed architecture that makes it easy to build complex digital experiences while keeping everything maintainable. It’s powerful for developers, intuitive for editors, and scalable enough to support long‑term growth.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

From a technical standpoint, two aspects of Ibexa DXP can be challenging. First, the early releases of each LTS version often introduce a noticeable number of regressions, which can impact stability during upgrades. Second, the platform doesn’t always keep pace with the evolution of the Symfony framework, which can lead to outdated components, limited access to newer features, and additional effort to maintain compatibility.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ibexa DXP centralizes and structures complex content, which simplifies how we manage and deliver it across multiple channels. Its built‑in workflows, permissions, and multilingual capabilities reduce manual effort and improve consistency. On the technical side, the Symfony‑based architecture and APIs make integrations easier and speed up the development of new features.

  ### 6. Ibexa DXP is a top-tier choice for complex B2B catalogs and customer portals.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

For our redesign, Ibexa unified content, e-commerce, and PIM into one coherent interface across all domains. This synergy was vital for team adoption and collaboration. I also value the robust ecosystem—with tools like Qualifio—which perfectly supports complex digital strategies.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

To expand on my feedback regarding the user experience, the back-office challenges generally center on the friction between high-end technical power and daily editorial efficiency. The current back-office experience lacks the "flow" found in more consumer-oriented CMS tools. The writing process can feel fragmented, often requiring too many clicks to perform routine tasks like formatting or structuring content.
The most significant pain point is the media management workflow. Uploading resources like photos often lacks an intuitive, drag-and-drop feel, making it difficult for teams to quickly populate galleries or align visuals with text

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a catalyst for our digital transformation, Ibexa provides a stable, user-friendly environment that scales with our strategy. Its API-first architecture seamlessly modernized our ecosystem by connecting with existing tools like our CRM. Furthermore, the taxonomy and dynamic content features have drastically improved our publishing speed and consistency.

  ### 7. From public-focused CMS to E-commerce growth platform : A digital transformation journey

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

In the context of our redesign project, Ibexa allowed us to bring everything together within a single, coherent interface—from content management to e-commerce and product information—across both our main domain and subdomains. This unified vision has been key in helping our teams understand, adopt, and contribute to the platform.
The API-first approach was also a decisive factor. It enabled us to connect Ibexa seamlessly with our existing tools, such as our CRM, without disrupting established workflows. This flexibility allowed us to modernize our ecosystem while preserving what already worked.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

What I sometimes miss is a more extensive plugin library, including open-source developments, as well as more advanced custom builders that would allow greater flexibility and experimentation with new services. While the platform offers customization options, these could be further extended to better adapt to specific use cases. That said, the environment remains highly open and makes it easy to integrate external services when needed.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform has become a true enabler of our digital transformation.

We needed a platform that was stable, intuitive, and reassuring for everyday users—while still being powerful enough to support a modern, scalable digital strategy.

The API-first approach was also a decisive factor. It enabled us to connect Ibexa seamlessly with our existing tools, such as our CRM, without disrupting established workflows. This flexibility allowed us to modernize our ecosystem while preserving what already worked.

Plus, thanks to the platform’s taxonomy system and dynamic content capabilities, our teams can now update and publish content faster, with greater consistency and less manual effort.

Finally, I value the “complete” Ibexa ecosystem: the well-orchestrated suite—including tools such as Raptor, Actito, Quable, Qualifio, and others—appears particularly efficient and well aligned with complex digital strategies.

  ### 8. Ibexa keeps improving!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark K. | Senior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa does not slow down in terms of features and making the overall working experience better. I like the approach to connect all other QNTM services and sue the data in all systems.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Cloud hosting capabilities could be improved.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time to value. I can create medium to large DXPs with compelx integration faster than in most enterprise competitors.

  ### 9. Powerfull CMS with potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathias A. | Product Manager Digital News, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Good core-system with more or less total customziation potental (with own Dev-Team). At the moment we run 6 Websites and 4 Apps with Ibexa DXP.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

No dark mode, backend reacts slow with over 2 Million content objects on the system

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining 6 different domains as a news-publisher from one CMS

  ### 10. Friendly and useful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Banking

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

A single and easy design to improve daily work.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

I think it could be better if some hidden options (i.e. "Tools" button), due to role permissions, would be useful if appears disabled, so the user can realize that there are a feature disabled, maybe without his knowlegde, and maybe the user can contact administrator in order to request permissions for that feature.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agility with designing and testing new pages, features and options.

  ### 11. Robust Security, but complicated and extremely expensive.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in International Trade and Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Security. But that is about it. The software is very secure and robust.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

The UI/UX is very complicated and somewhat outdated. Integrations are hard to setup. Pricing and ROI is not good for small and medium teams, might be ok for huge clients. AI integrations are kind of non-existent.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have out main Website made using Ibexa DXP.

  ### 12. The CMS meets our expectations in terms of security, shared contribution, and multi-site management.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerome P. | Internet Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

I don’t yet have enough perspective, as our use of Ibexa compared with eZ Platform is still too recent.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa once again allows direct access to features from the file tree, which is a very positive point.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interconnections with third-party systems are possible. We have implemented many, whether with our E-commerce system, our application, or our CRM system.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank you for your feedback Jerome, We really value your insights.
I see that you are still on eZ Platform. We have made considerable improvements and would strongly encourage you to take a closer look at Ibexa DXP.
The UI has been revamped as i am sure you are very much aware of. Reducing the number of clicks in the back office was frequently mentioned by customers and we spent considerable time to look at streamlining the navigation and also improve the effieciency for editors and marketeers.

We are happy to discuss more in detail. Should you have any question feel free to reply here or get in touch with us.

  ### 13. Flexible Content Engine for Modern Digital Experiences

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

I really appreciate how Ibexa can serve as a flexible, central content engine that powers the entire customer-facing experience. The platform's modularity lets us tailor the solution to our needs, and the ability to integrate with our CRM and payment provider has been seamless. The headless content capabilities and the ease with which we can personalize and manage content for different users are particularly impressive, especially for building structured, actionable workflows.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

The main pain point is around the pricing model, particularly with the number of environments included by default. Sometimes we need just one more environment, but the current structure forces us to buy a bundle of five, which isn't cost-effective for a growing company. More flexible pricing options for startups and scaling businesses would be appreciated.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Search and structuring of content.

  ### 14. Well rounded platform with some great features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa has transitioned from a focus on publishing to a broader digital experience, and with this shift, they have introduced several valuable features for discovering and creating content. The addition of publication calendars and embedding tools greatly simplifies the work of content managers. The role-based system for managing both workflow and content permissions is especially helpful for larger organisations or in situations where requirements must be reviewed or approved.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

From an engineering perspective, the extensibility offered is valuable, although there are certain areas where support for this is lacking. To address these gaps, there is a noticeable emphasis on integrating with external services. In my view, many DXPs and CMSs have shifted toward a headless, service-based model, which I believe is generally a better direction. This is especially relevant when considering Ibexa's price point, as it positions the product more toward a specialised, niche market of B2B ecommerce.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have consistently relied on Ibexa as a CMS for both publishing and media companies, as well as for certain B2C e-commerce sites. The advantage of using a single, extensible platform is that it enables us to meet our customers' needs effectively. However, in recent times, it has become increasingly challenging to extend the platform in meaningful ways for some clients. Despite this, as a content management system built on a foundation like Symfony, Ibexa continues to offer a decent environment for development.

  ### 15. A customizable DXP without limits, a high-performance DXP, a clean technical foundation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon J. | Co-Fondateur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

An ultra-customizable DXP, the content is organized in a tree structure and there is no limit to the creation of content types. The code adheres to Symfony "standards," making it a scalable and sustainable product. It is easy to add specific business logic. The version upgrade processes are well-established, allowing the stack to be kept up to date. There are no strong dependencies on external components that would block upgrades. The structure (content type, evolution of role and rights policies) can be modified by migration scripts, allowing it to evolve in an industrial manner. Its ability to handle high traffic while maintaining continuous content update capability is thanks to the fine caching strategy.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

A complex skill development, even though it is increasingly accessible for Symfony developers.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have a back-office perfectly tailored to the editorial and functional needs of our clients

  ### 16. A robust CMS that fits our needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

As a newbie to Ibexa, I like how easy and intuitive it is to work in. Time from learning to actual producing pages is short.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

When adding language versions of components and pages, it can get complex fast, but this is the same for all CMSes.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have sites in different markets/languages and Ibexa helps us align content across markets and making it more efficient for the editors to work. Together with Raptor it will also serve as our personalisation engine on the web pages.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank you so much for your feedback. Very happy to hear that you find it be a productive tool. Indeed adding languages does make it a bit more complex, but also very powerful. Having said that we are always interested in understanding your use case to see if there are ways to simplify.

  ### 17. Flexible and powerful enterprise DXP on Symfony bases

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc E. | Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa DXP is a very flexible foundation for our future business initiatives. Its open architecture based on one of the widely used PHP Frameworks makes it easy for our internal Engineering Team to adapt and extend the Application according to our taste and our needs.

The integrated Page Builder supports our editors to build and immediately review product landing pages according to our design standards without sacrificing the headless support to provide the same data to other client applications.

Last but not least: The support from Ibexa is outstanding! We are constantly in contact with different people of Ibexa that are continuously helping us finding the best solutions possible.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

To implement Ibexa DXP properly you need the help of a third party agency. This in itself is not so much an issue but having a powerful inhouse Engineering Team collaborating with an external team is at least challenging to manage.

Some aspects of the system are surprisingly underdeveloped. Although the main architecture is impressive and the application has all the main features that you need on an enterprise level there are some areas that need some more time to fully reach their potential.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are merging multiple different brands with multiple different CMS/DXP solutions into one unified service without sacrificing the differences of the brands. Therefore we would need a system that is easy to adapt to all our different requirements and cover multiple different domains with multiple different translations. On top we also want to provide marketing data to other client application than the websites without the need to manage the content on different locations reduntantly. Ibexa DXP is going to be our central content management system for all marketing related information and is going to be used for all kinds of marketing automation in future.

  ### 18. Setting up websites based on Ibexa

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Perfectible hotline with significant gaps in incident-related reports

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up websites with a CMS

  ### 19. Battle tested CMS for big content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fredrik T. | Tech Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

AI Actions optimizes editors workflow

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Still missing SVG support

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lets our editors organize and maintain a large amount of different content without the need for technical support.

  ### 20. Powerful and Flexible DXP for The Enterprise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauricio S. | Chief Operating Officer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Content architecture flexibility for building complex content models. Popular platforms provide only rigid structures for content modeling, but Ibexa provides custom content types with relationships between them.

The ability to build multi-brand, multi-site, multi-language, content inheritance, complex taxonomies, and custom field types.

The content repository's versioning and translation capabilities to manage global websites for complex content requirements.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa has a steep learning curve, especially for those developers who don't have access to expert guidance or structured training. Getting comfortable with Ibexa’s architecture requires guidance from expert training. The documentation could also have better real-world examples to help new developers.

The admin UI feels dated compared to other CMS and is not very intuitive for content authors. The Page Builder is powerful, but it lacks some out-of-the-box features and extensibility that most popular CMSs offer.

The caching system is difficult to implement when self-hosting. It requires a technical understanding to deploy and optimize properly, it is more straightforward on Ibexa Cloud deployments, which offer a much more hands-off experience.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ibexa DXP addresses our clients' requirements in managing complex digital experiences across multiple sites and languages. Ibexa's multi-site and multi-language features enable content management for large companies. We can simplify the editorial processes, localization, and brand consistency across different brands and languages of the same parent company.

Ibexa's PageBuilder help our client's content authors by providing a drag-and-drop interface to create new web pages without the need of a development team assistance. This capability not only accelerates time-to-market, but also guarantees design consistency through reusable content blocks and templates, preserving our clients' brand identities and maintaining high-quality user experience.

  ### 21. So far I'm happy with Ibexa DXP. The CMS gives me flexibility and smart ways to work with content.

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

I am happy with the fast upload of many images, the great page builder and the simplicity that comes with a modern CMS.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Many steps when adding items to different components.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ibexa DXP gives us a modern CMS, the ability to connect to other systems and tools that help us with "Time to market".

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank you so much for your feedback. Very happy to hear that you find Ibexa to be a good tool for you. We are eager to learn more about the "dislike" part as well to further improve.

  ### 22. Flexible, powerful and stable DxP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe J. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

The Ibexa content model, permission system and templating/content-extraction are it's strong suites. It is a plaform built for organizations that have needs for growth, stability and performance.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

It is a platform best suited for professional or skilled developers. It applies many good development principles and CMS concepts which may be challenging for new developers at first. Also performance tuning the websites can require different skill sets.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It serves mainly as a flexible and powerful content repository with personalization and commerce capabilities if they are needed. It is a foundational piece of software for digital experience projects. It also allows complex experiences for different user types by leveraging it's multi-site and multi-language features on top of a powerful permission system.

  ### 23. Complex contribution, learning curve, CMS features lack agility

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theo M.

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

The elements that seem very interesting to me are:
- automation via Ibexa Connect
- various integrations aimed at optimizing marketing processes and personalizing the user journey.
Unfortunately, these integrations are not within the scope of our needs at the moment.

Other appreciated elements used in the context of our project:
- Site context (in multisite)
- Multi-positioning
- Page builder (even if it can be improved)

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

- back office interface:
  - multilingual: some shortcomings noted
    - optimization of the default language for a multilingual and multisite site (our first site being in French, if the default language of a site in the ecosystem is not French, it creates some translation difficulties for the interface regardless of the language the user has chosen).
    - contributed content does not display in the language chosen by the user but in the initial language of the skeleton
  - display and ordering of object lists in the back office: difficult to find the settings and especially once found, persistence of these settings (they reset with each browser refresh)
  - absence or complexity of translating interface strings, especially during custom development.

- contribution:
  - lack of block library functionality + reusable blocks
  - content tree:
    - on multisites, facilitate access to essential modules (media, taxonomy...)
    - more possibilities for creating elements on the fly rather than having to go back through the content tree, displaying content lists, ordering them....

- media:
  - media contribution process a bit complex --> often have to go back through the content tree (when we are on multisites)
  - sorely lacking a search field for images in the media section
  - saving and persistence of configs (export and import system for configs like on Drupal for example)

- Forms:
  - no conditional fields
  - phone field (with country prefix selection)

- security:
  - a native CSP/HSTS section would be welcome

- non-exhaustive list

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Contribution of "corporate" content on institutional sites, within the framework of a site factory of about 83 sites.
- 4 types of sites: Group, Divisions, Business Units, Subsidiaries.
- International context (presence of the group in 120 countries).

Ibexa covers these needs well but remains improvable in the first layer around CMS-type functionalities.

We use the Ibexa Experience license.

  ### 24. Software suitable for all types of business needs with a modern CMS, a complete DXP

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward T.

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Its versatility and adaptability to my rather complex needs. It has never failed, and I am only limited by my imagination. The richness and breadth of features, as well as the addition of options, enhance the product.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

The internal cost of version upgrades and the complexity of certain functions that remain quite "standard" on other CMSs in the market. For example, the addition of blocks for contribution that need to be developed by agencies.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personalization, thanks to Raptor, allows us to offer a website tailored to the individual (and no longer just to the profile) and enables us to provide our clients with a personalized browsing experience. Our clients feel at home on our websites and feel valued. We speak to them personally.
A unique CMS with a PIM, Online Sales, and Personalization, all in one CMS, is something that allows us to reduce our Time To Market, because we only have one CMS to develop. Gone are the flows between the different components of a CMS, an online sales site, etc. This represents a saving of time and money and a simplification of flows and developments.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank you so much for you review Edward.

Knowing you have been a trusting customer for a long time it really means a lot to hear that you find our offering as valuable as we think it is. We are working hard to simplify the upgrade path and have fortunately been able to overcome some of the challenge we used to have (LTS Updates) . A lot of these improvements stem from valuable insights from customers like yourself.

The way you have been able to really take advantage of the DXP offering a hyper personalized solution is very inspiring for us and hopefully for others who want to step up their game with personalized experiences. We will keep pushing to give an even better experience going forward!

  ### 25. Impressive Features And Capabilities Highlight Ibexa's Offerings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksandre S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa keeps getting better! I still really appreciate the passionate and responsive team. Lately, I’ve been enjoying how flexible and extensible the platform is—it’s easy to build on. Ibexa Connect is also super handy for automating stuff without much effort.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa PIM still lacks some features, but it’s great to see the partnership with Quable, that should help fill those gaps. One thing that could be improved is the admin interface. It’s not a progressive web app, so it feels a bit slow with each action.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ibexa E-commerce capabilities is usefull. We are using Ibexa PIM to structure our catalog on our webshop.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank you so much for your insights Aleksandre, We're thrilled to hear that you are very happy implementing your solution using Ibexa DXP. Our goal is to deliver a flexible DXP which allows you to carry out your every- day business in the best way possible. In order to meet this goal customer feedback is key and its great to hear that you have experienced us as attentive. Its' great to hear that you also see lot of value in our Connect product which is all about simplifying automation of tasks.

  ### 26. Modern, user-friendly DXP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in International Affairs

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

modern UI, intuitive to use, flexible to adjust, integration possibilities

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

no drag & drop in content tree, navigation in media section cumbersome

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

modern CMS-System for a multi-tenant structure (80+ tenants) with multi-language support (40+ languages) with integrated customer portal and commerce functions, which reduces the need to integrate third-party systems

  ### 27. Ibexa DXP is an enterprise class product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa DXP usability is very strong. The Admin UI is polished, modern and intuitive for Admins and Editors. The interface is fast and clean. Modern CMS/DXP products can struggle with the amount of features available to Admins. Ibexa DXP is streamlined to make editing quick and easy. The Page Builder was ahead of it's time by several years. The interface is highly customizable by developers and adding enhancements is well documented and extensible. This allows clients to get exactly what they want from their UI and building to their specifications.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

The Ibexa DXP deployment can be self-hosted or via a platform-as-a-service PaaS contract. The DXP annual licensing with PaaS could be more competitive. Clients may opt for self-hosting given scaling and performance ROI. That said, the PaaS monitoring and support with can be worth the price for some clients.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The strength of the Ibexa DXP product starts with the Content. This focus on content creation and delivery is core to the product and is very well architected. With several variations on the product line, Headless, Experience, and Ecommerce, the client can find the fit for their needs. From running mobile apps via lean headless deployments to huge ecommerce websites, Ibexa DXP has a wide range of features to choose from.

Clients have specific needs and the ability to extend their chosen product is paramount. Beyond what is out of the box, developers have the full suite of the Symfony PHP framework at their fingertips. Extending and integrating Ibexa DXP is open to the worldwide developer base of Symfony experts. It should be clear to any product evaluator that the quality of code provided is exceptional. Ibexa's investment in robust testing of security, code, implementation, best-practices, 3rd party evaluation is a massive differentiator to their competition. I have clients running Ibexa products for years and sometimes decades becuase Ibexa provides upgrade pathways from their oldest product versions. The long-term ROI for clients is exceptional. This is a product where investments pay off.

Ibexa DXP is built for worldwide clients. The language support is first-class and part of a robust editorial workflow.

  ### 28. Ibexa from a developer perspective.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Documentation and its flexibility to work for different scenarios.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

I would say again documentation as in some part the documentation is not complete and not helping with developers to find information.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Defining the architecture of an application. And it’s very much easy to adapt to any kind of web application.

  ### 29. Ibexa is a DXP with vision: Why Ibexa is the backbone of our digital strategy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesco R. | Business Unit Lead - Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa is the ideal solution for me for enterprise customers with complex requirements. I am particularly convinced by the integrated DXP ecosystem, which combines modular functions such as personalization, headless CMS, and e-commerce. This architecture allows us to implement individual customer solutions efficiently and scalably – technically flexible and economically sensible.

My experience with Ibexa in customer projects is: high satisfaction, strong performance, and an innovative power that does not have to hide behind Adobe & Co. For me, Ibexa is not just a CMS, but a future-proof key technology in our portfolio.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Limited visibility in the market: Despite a very good technical foundation, Ibexa does not (yet) have the same level of international recognition as Adobe or Sitecore, which can be a disadvantage for customers with a strong brand orientation.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What we use Ibexa for – and why it is the right choice for us

We use Ibexa as a strategic platform for complex enterprise projects – especially for international corporate websites, central content hubs, and digital ecosystems with demanding integration requirements. The modular architecture, multisite/multilingual capabilities, and the ability to seamlessly connect to systems like PIM, CRM, or e-commerce make Ibexa the ideal solution for our customers with scaling digital business models.

Thanks to the headless capability and the ecosystem, we can realize highly individualized user experiences across various channels – efficiently, future-proof, and at an enterprise level.

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

This product is flexible, which allows us to correlate our needs in the majority.

The design has been upgraded and this makes a big difference compared to older versions.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

The documentation does not have enough detailed for developers.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The possibilitie of custom how content-type interact whit each other.

  ### 31. Big data CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Robust platform with seamless integration posibilites

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

The landing page editor could have been done easier.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When working on projects where there are advanced structures of the data and multi site handling Ibexa DXP is best at handling this. It's easier for both developers and editors to keep a good overview of the data inside a CMS.

  ### 32. One of the best (if not the best) content-focused DXP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gábor L.

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

In my personal opinion, Ibexa DXP is one of the best (if not the best) content-focused DXP on the market. As a user/editor/administrator, it's very important that the software you have to work with on a daily basis is an easy-to-use platform that helps you to be more efficient in your work and not generate more and more extra tasks due to complicated interfaces and thoughtless solutions. Working with Ibexa DXP is easy.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

There's always some room for more features so I'd say, it would be great if the product contained more features, more modules.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content delivery. This is the most important thing in the business world. If you're able to create and deliver good quality, personalized content as fast as possible, your online appearance will support your business. Ibexa DXP helps you to deliver content.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank you so much taking the time to review Ibexa DXP, Gabor.

We really appreciate hearing from users like yourself. Happy to hear that you experience it easy to work with our DXP. We notice the challenge when you say "if not the best".. We will push to be the best and hopefully you will appreciate all the improvements we have coming.

  ### 33. An amazing unified Digital Experience Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian P. | Project Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa DXP is a well unified tool which centralize all the marketing needs with product management and in-depth personalization to the selected customer segments. It is also a powerful tool for multi-languages and multi-sites.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Nothing comes to my mind right now. Product roadmaps are tough and improvements are done or the core product, not only bringing new features.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ibexa DXP allow me to integrate the proper solution for my customers, answering all their needs. This could be multi-site, multi-languages, product management and e-commerce features, and last but not least, customer personalization.

  ### 34. Ibexa DXP and the QNTM ecosystem are among the most flexible options in the DXP market.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa DXP is not one of the big product names that every digital marketing expert immediately thinks of when it comes to a modern DXP. However, in the implementation of various projects, the Symfony base, the modular structure, and the high flexibility of the DXP always prove to be strengths. The backend with the WYSIWYG Page Builder is intuitive and can be quickly learned even by occasional users. For small to medium-sized marketing teams, it is a really well-rounded solution.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Certainly, a few features are missing in Ibexa DXP that major manufacturers like Adobe have already integrated. For example, the WYSIWYG editor is somewhat more sophisticated there, AI features are more advanced, and the integration into the almost ubiquitous Creative Suite is more seamless. Here, Ibexa cannot always keep up with the latest trends.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This question makes no sense in terms of content in the German translation.

  ### 35. Ibexa DXP is an advanced and flexible web platform built on Symfony

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

The latest versions include options to integrate AI functionality for editors.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Error messages for editors when something is wrong with their article/content could be improved.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a business website platform that we can partially manage ourselves to reduce cost. At the same time it needs to be flexible enough to handle different use cases and needs, like multi-language and multi-site support.

  ### 36. Scalable and cost effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kai H. | Director of IT Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

As a law firm, CMS has been working with Ibexa DXP since its early days when it was known as eZ Publish. Over the years, we have developed a close and valued relationship with Ibexa. Initially, we started with a single web server, but we have since evolved into a professional environment powered by Azure Kubernetes. This load-balanced setup ensures scalability to meet our future requirements.

We appreciate working with a firm where our business size matters. Our relationship with Ibexa's top-level management has been excellent, and we have also established a trustworthy, long-term partnership with our implementation partner. The license costs are very fair and effective, especially considering the level of implementation we have achieved.

We also successfully merged a former third-party solution into the Ibexa DXP, saving a significant amount of costs and completing the project within a very short timeframe of only two months. This integration was crucial in saving the full project.

Additionally, the customer support from Ibexa has been outstanding, providing timely and effective assistance whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

One aspect we find less favorable is the slightly strange license model that applies utilization/visitors to a client-hosted system, where load and infrastructure management and costs are in our control. But compared to other suppliers on the market, it is definitely fine.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ibexa DXP is solving several key problems for us, which significantly benefits our operations:

- Global Reach and Localization: Ibexa DXP supports our global, future-facing website across over 50 regions and different languages. This ensures that we can provide a unified and consistent experience to all our users, regardless of their location or language.

- Unified Content Management: By integrating all our CMS needs into a single platform, Ibexa DXP simplifies content management. This unification helps streamline our processes, reduce complexity, and improve efficiency.

- Scalability and Performance: With its Azure Kubernetes-powered, load-balanced environment, Ibexa DXP offers the scalability and performance needed to handle our growing demands. This ensures that our website remains responsive and reliable, even as traffic increases.

- Cost Efficiency: The integration of a former third-party solution into Ibexa DXP has saved us a significant amount of costs. This cost efficiency is further enhanced by the fair and effective license costs.

- Strong Support and Partnership: The excellent customer support from Ibexa and our strong, long-term partnership with their top-level management and implementation partner have been invaluable. This support ensures that any issues are promptly addressed, and we can rely on their expertise for continuous improvement.

Overall, Ibexa DXP provides a robust, scalable, and cost-effective solution that meets our global content management needs while ensuring a seamless user experience

  ### 37. Structured and efficient working with Ibexa DXP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christoph S. | Technical Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

What I like most about Ibexa DXP is the intuitive operation and the flexible content structure. The ability to reuse elements makes work much easier and saves time.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

One possible improvement would be to include the option to move pages or content within the content tree using drag-and-drop. This would make navigation even more intuitive and efficient.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I benefit from Ibexa because it offers a flexible architecture that supports clean content modeling and reusable elements. This allows pages to be created and customized in a short time

  ### 38. Powerful DXP for Personalization & Marketing Automation – at a fair price-performance ratio

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

- Meets our high standards for security, performance & availability
- Very good support
- Powerful hosting
- User-friendly & flexible CMS (Page Builder)
- E-mailing, personalization, CDP, and marketing automation from a single source

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

- Email marketing via Actito not yet fully integrated
- As with any tool, there are also some optimization potentials that would make daily work easier. However, Ibexa always has an open ear here.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have very diverse products for a wide range of target groups, and in doing so, sometimes very long customer journeys. Our goal is to use the Ibexa DXP to identify needs, address the different target groups individually, and actively manage the customer journey through marketing automation.

  ### 39. Ibexa DXP: power and flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ousmane K. | Lead Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

It's well known content management is combine now with product and commerce feature.
It's extremely extensible. the new composability offered with raptor and qualifeo is new Way to help our clients accomplish new exciting feature.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

- cost (I know, but they do better)
- I wanted to address some oversea maket (Africa).
- default frontend application (reactive)

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ibexa helped to build a Hight personalized Website base on it's integration of raptor

  ### 40. Ibexa DXP good alternative to Adobe Experience Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

* It's open, you can extend it to your needs.
* The team behind the tool - they are accessible and helpful

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

* Even though it's open, you still feed the history, many things are opinionated and optimized for use cases from the past
* Headless first support is still not there where it could be

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We like to have a good hybrid solution that support traditional Marketing needs like Landingpages with personalisation but also headless approaches that serve our apps.

**Official Response from Lars Eirik Rønning:**

> Thank for the review. You bring a lot of insights which are valuable to us.
Because we follow Semantic versioning (ensuring we dont break custom development in projects when upgrading) we from time to time need to have discussions on how to approach developing a given feature. We aim at balancing the reliability of an enterprise DXP with the innovation and sometimes that can be a challenging exercise.

When it comes to your comment on headless we are have a solid API foundation, but we lack SDKs to accelerate development on specific platforms as an example. This has also been mentioned by others.

  ### 41. Efficient tool, but the contribution interface could be improved

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

The DXP platform is composable and modular and allows for advanced customization.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Content management is unintuitive and can be improved

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is a unified and flexible platform

  ### 42. Innovation, Flexibility, and Fun

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

The Ibexa DXP hits the sweet spot in various trade-offs - for example, flexibility/customization vs. out of the box; standard requirements vs. innovation; mid-sized business requirements vs. enterprise... overall, a system that is fun to work with and integrate into daily work!

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Partially, we feel that certain functions are not yet fully "thought through" - e.g., in the preview, where it is not possible to display a dropdown of the languages supported by the system without selecting the default languages.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralization of the control instance while simultaneously targeted enablement of the respective marketing departments on the customer side. Before the introduction of the DXP, this was not possible for the customer, resulting in all types of marketing activities always ending in a bottleneck.

  ### 43. Flexible DXP with good integration capability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

I greatly appreciate the modular architecture of Ibexa DXP, which allows me to deploy functions very specifically without carrying unnecessary tools or features. The integration into existing systems went mostly smoothly, which is not always the case with comparable platforms. The user interface is also well thought out and does not appear cluttered, which makes onboarding new team members easier. Overall, working with the platform is enjoyable because it runs flexibly yet stably. Support requests are also answered very quickly, which I find very positive.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Partially, you can notice that some functions are not yet fully developed, for example, you notice this with the performance in the backend under high load. Also, the documentation could go a bit deeper in some places, especially when it comes to complex integrations.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A customer of ours had previously worked with several unconnected systems. This often led to duplicated content, unnecessary effort, and errors. By introducing Ibexa DXP, we were able to implement a central solution that allows all content to be managed in one place, especially for different target groups and markets. Since then, maintenance and content management have been much more efficient, content can be delivered faster, and the teams work together in a much more structured and easier way.

  ### 44. Good evolution from eZ Platform to Ibexa DXP, but prices also evolved

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Good overall user experience for content creators; has a WYSIWYG page builder, publishing workflows, reliable scheduled publishing and more.

Multitenant and multilanguage support; important for us as an international company.

Flexibility in terms of hosting; you can use the Ibexa PaaS offer, or host it on the infrastructure of your choice (e.g. your own), Ibexa is cloud ready.

Customizability; We use Ibexa DXP for a lot of different cases which require implementation of different requirements. Ibexa allows us to serve a lot of different usecases.

API-First approach; Connecting third party data sources is quite easy to do, this saves a lot of implementation effort at times.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Ibexa DXP has evolved a lot over time, but there are still some legacy parts that need refactoring. This sometimes results in bad performance in some areas under certain conditions.

Ibexa has some highly skilled support engineers that will try to help you in case of issues, but of course Ibexa has its own roadmap and some issues that might result under certain conditions, that do not affect a lot of customers will be prioritized rather low.

We use Ibexa DXP for many years, back then it was called eZ Platform - since then, the quality and count of features has gone up, but pricing too.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of different needs for websites/webapps, we want to have one CMS/DXP that adresses mostly all of these needs, to avoid having multiple different solutions that need to be maintained.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 47. room for improvements amid solid basics

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

- Standard set of backend functionalities and flexibility could be more advanced
- Rights management only managable for admins with experience
- Global search functionality is not state of the art

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

flexibility to adapt the requirements which comes from different units. Managing multiple websites in one backend. scalable solution for our corporate website landscape.

  ### 48. Overall good, but needs improvement in certain areas

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

Content management capabilities: content creation, editing and publishing are relatively easy.
Multilingual and multisite support: this feature is very useful for us especially while working with different regions and countries.
Integration capabilities: Ability to integrate the website to different 3rd party systems and services is a very big advantage for us

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

Content creation/publishing workflow should be a standard feature. It should not be configured separately for a fee by agency.
High dependency on agency is slowing down the process. The backend should be more user friendly and content elements like in wordpress rather than certain templates would make it easier for users to customize the website.
Some basic features such as hiding menu items and creating landing pages without navigation menu are missing.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ibexa is helping us to connect all websites (from different regions and countries) in one place and optimize content management process.

**What do you like best about Ibexa DXP?**

The fact that there is an integrated PIM allows for very dynamic product pages and perfect e-commerce integration.

**What do you dislike about Ibexa DXP?**

The use of the PIM is not intended to allow for regular automatic imports from flat files. We had to develop a specific PIM import bundle. And there are still some manual actions to be done in the back office.

**What problems is Ibexa DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The setup of a complete e-commerce site with connections to our IT system (ERP, CRM) in a simple way once the connectors have been developed.
