I like that honeybook automatically reminds clients when their payments are due.

I think it's a great platform for vendors who are constantly updating their proposals to resend items. For our planning team, once we have their contract set, we aren't altering items throughout the process anymore so it's less useful for us in that way

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

The ability to run my business from a centralized platform. It's user friendly and very easy to implement. Any time I've had an issue, I can contact customer support and have it resolved quickly. I use this tool every day in my business and appreciate all the features it has built in. It also integrates with other tools that I use.

I haven't experienced any extreme downsides to Honeybook.

I love the automations in HoneyBook. It's easy to work with clients from the first contact through a final engagement. Additionally, the initial setup of HoneyBook was a breeze.

I wish HoneyBook had the ability to connect more easily with other AI tools. Right now, everything is so closed. I can't enhance or connect HoneyBook with the other tools I use in my business.

The files have a cute and appealing design. The pricing and initial offer are very enticing.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

I used this company for 2 years. I am trying to leave and can officially attest that it is a slimy company.

I am trying to migrate out (to an actual modern CRM like Hubspot), and they have NO way for me to export my data en masse. Instead, I am to download each of my files MANUALLY. They offer free setup to lure you in with the promise of helping you set up for free, but if you try to leave the company, on the other hand, they provide no way to exit. This is the number one red flag I look out for with tech companies. Buyer beware, you will hate this product, and they will make it an absolute pain in the bum to get out of. Their AI capabilities are horrendous, very few integration opportunities, and their template files, while they look easy, are much more of a pain in the butt to use and modify. Truly, use any other platform.

They say they can help me address my CRM and proposal challenges, although they have failed miserably.

I continued to like the service, but the price is too steep.

When I started my subscription with Honeybook, I paid a little over $250 a year.  Now two years later, they are charging over $500 a year but aren't providing anything worth the drastic price increase.

It's a one stop shop for managing clients and their reoccurring payments. It saves me the time of contacting clients to remind them of their subscription renewing and such.

HoneyBook brings together projects, clients, timelines, and communication all into one centralised platform. What impressed me most was its intuitive and well-structured interface. The dashboards made it easy to implement project organisation, allowing me to integrate and track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables effortlessly in one place.

The only downside I would like to mention was the absence of a feature that can connect additional platforms while dealing with complex projects. The need for these options made my team rely on external systems while handling larger and more dynamic workflows.

Automations are good and can save time.  System works well to keep track of prospects and clients.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

Internal automations are not enough and even using Zapier it falls short. 
The smart file feature is not straightforward and duplicating contracts and you have to add them as a template in the main files instead of just being able to duplicate the contract within the workspace of the client. 
Project dates sync with your calendar for entire days so adding dates in HB will block off your calendar completely and if you have a scheduling system connected to your calendar it is a complete mess.

Everything! There is so much to love about HoneyBook; picking just one thing is hard. The most powerful tool for me is the customizable automations. They save me so much time and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. From the scheduler and email templates to the lead forms, everything works seamlessly to create a solid workflow. This saves time, makes you look more professional, and helps you stay on top of your game.

I'm a big believer that there's always room for improvement. HoneyBook does a fantastic job of listening and engaging with their users, constantly updating and implementing features based on user feedback. While there's nothing major to dislike, I'm always excited to see what enhancements they roll out next.

HoneyBook provides a unique CRM tailored for small to medium creative businesses, offering a customizable and easy-to-use platform. They actively engage with their customers to continuously improve their features. **What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

I love how easy it is to use HoneyBook, and how streamline it is to get a client booked, installments paid, and keep everything organized for each project. It is also so nice automated reminders for payments are sent to my clients which keeps my business running smoothly. I use Honeybook with every single client, and have watched my revenue grow. The initial set up took a little bit of time to do, but Honeybook has great customer service to help with that. I will never go back to invoicing on my own. It is far too easy and keeps my business looking and feeling professional every step of the way.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

The only thing I would love to see Honeybook add would be an interface for clients to collaborate on. I currently use Samepage for the planning and documenting. If Honeybook had something like that, I would never ever ever leave. Ever.

The interface is super easy to navigate.  You can get pretty creative with templates and such to interface really well with your branding.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

Some things that seem so simple.... are overly complicated.  Also I would love it if there was more integration with my website.  For instance, i wish that I could have a price page embed (from HB) on my website that the clients could use.  

Another thing would be an easier way to accept alternative payments.  

Mostly it is very good but some things could be streamlined.

**What problems is HoneyBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that it is all in one.  I can pretty much manage my business with Honeybook though book keeping and reporting could definitely be more robust.

Currently, we just have the Contact Form that embeds on your website buuuuut we are actively working on an embeddable Lead Form! This means you can have a pricing guide, an invoice, scheduling, and/or questionnaire (ie a Contact Form) in a file that can be embedded directly on your website!
Also in the works as we speak, is additional payment options! Our team is working to get those added in this year as well!

I love that everything is in one place from contracts to invoices and they are all elegantly and professionally designed, and most importantly that I can do it all on my phone when I am traveling or on the go. It has changed the way I have been able to run my business and I am so thankful that I took the time to set it up. It is truly an exciting program and one that I plan to always have from now on.

It was a learning curve to figure out in the beginning but it was good to learn all the same.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

I love the gallery of templates to inspire the look and feel of my materials. The system is also very "user-friendly" as I edit each of the templates to suit my needs. They have many tutorial videos that have been very helpful, as well. So many of the steps of communication with potential and new clients can be automated, which has been so helpful! As soon as someone fills out my contact form, they receive automatic communications, and I can monitor the activity daily to stay on top of all activity! I have also FINALLY set up concise and streamlined services, packages, invoices and methods of payment! I hope to never have to be without Honeybooks! I highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

I have only been using Honeybooks for about one month. In that time, I have learned a LOT on my own, as I poke through getting things set up. However, I think it is best if one hires one of their coaches to get everything set up. I will be doing that SOON! I also think that my time with a hired coach will be best used as I already have a sense for how to navigate the system. Perhaps Honeybooks could provide 1 free hour with a Coach to inspire new Honeybook Users to continue working with a coach? I LOVE this product and look forward to getting my systems set up! (And then I am sure I will continue to grow and evolve what I have set up!)

Despite the automations, I hate that I have to manually move projects to their correct stages. I'm hoping the new features resolve this.

Between the automations feature, the new scheduling feature and the tasks feature, it's hard for anything to slip through the cracks! I'm a HUGE fan of how it has allowed me to automate so much of my business. It's like having an assistant!

I'm hoping to use the scheduling feature in 2024, but it feels a little clunky and like there are a few extra, unnecessary steps in the user flow. But I know its a new feature, so I'm sure you're still working through kinks!

HoneyBook is very easy to use on the backend and is also a very intuitive experience for my clients. I am a wedding and event florist and utilize HoneyBook for every part of the booking process- from inquiry to signing the contract and accepting payment. It leads both myself and the client through that process very seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

I do wish there was an option to put the credit card fees on the invoice. It took me a few months to realize that about 4% of what I collected from my clients went to processing fees. As soon as I realized this, I've been manually calculating that number and putting it on the invoice. I would love if HoneyBook had an option that calculated this number for you so you could put it on then invoice if you want.

Getting my contract signed! I have a lengthy contract and I was nervous that sending it off to people would turn them off. HoneyBook very seamlessly takes them through that piece of my booking process before it gives them the option to pay. I love this feature!

Also, a huge plus is the amazing customer service, if anything comes up the response time is timely and always helpful.

HoneyBook is very robust in allowing for a wide range of features and use cases. We've used it for more than a year to handle different aspects of our business operations, from showcasing our portfolio and pricing to potential prospects, all the way through to managing our contracts and even invoices at times.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

HoneyBook allows for many uses; however, it has some tough limitations that have greatly reduced our ability to use it across the board. The invoices are awesome for automating reminders and payments, but they don't allow for much customization in terms of the information that gets included. There are workarounds available, but these haven't worked for every client. We've had clients download PDF versions of contracts and invoices, and then they end up reaching out to us because the PDF versions are missing key information or simply look very broken in the way that HoneyBook places line breaks and page layouts. It very rarely looks the same in PDF format as it does in the full linked version.

HoneyBook centralizes the process of managing everything, including gathering leads, managing contracts, and collecting payments. It makes it easy to create automations and reminders that can theoretically reduce the back and forth that we have to do manually with clients.

I love how easy it is to navigate the website. The contact form is what I needed the most and it was so simple to create. Once someone does inquire and I'm sent the lead, even the layout of the information is easy to read and straightforward. Other leads I get outside of Honeybook email the inquiries in a way that is harder to read unless you go into their app or site. With Honeybook, they make sure you can get all info you need in an email without having to click out.

There could be perks and incentives for customers like myself who hit over the $10k in bookings  who want to utilize all the aspects of the site like proposals, contracts, brochures, and contact forms. The processing and instant deposit fees I seem high compared to other companies.
