**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

I love how Honeybook simplifies my business processes, helps me stay organized, and automates client tasks that would normally take a ton of time. It integrates and connects with my other calendar, client photo delivery software, and finances as well.  I love the simple interface where I can see everything in one place. and AI suggestions help me the AI automated email responses, and they're super easy to adapt to fit my business as well. 

Honeybook software loads quickly, rarely experiences any hiccups, and helps me be more professional. If I have had any issues, the support team knocked it out of the park, and if they didn't support my issues, they took feedback and added it to the list of requests for the future. Honeybook is a great value, and it really feels like having a virtual assistant.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

I wish it was easier to edit templates from the client viewing screen. Or if I make an edit to an email template for one automation, that it saved for others. That process is a little cumbersome.

**What problems is HoneyBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HoneyBook helps me automate repetitive tasks, respond to inquiries quickly and efficiently, and stay on top of planning and scheduling. It’s a great value for my business, and it integrates well with the other apps I already use.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

I really like all the branding options and that my customers experience a clean cohesive presentation of my business.  I love the onboarding most of all and how smooth it is to get accounts set up.  I have a honey book created contact form on my website and quite often my first contact with a client is a completed contact form, which autofills everything in their project and saves me hours.  I also like the contract options and I feel like they seem legit--customers are happy to sign them and I feel a bit more protected.  Another good thing is honey book reminds me if I haven't followed up with someone or an invoice hasn't been paid.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

My business is private tutoring and so I have a lot of accounts and they stay active for a year or more at a time.  Honeybook isn't set up well for this type of business.  One thing that bothers me is switching between client pages takes 3 or more screen loads, and honey book often runs very slowly on both safari and chrome.  
Another issue is the way invoices work.  There is a helpful time tracker that I love, but I can't auto create a custom invoice from it, only a simple one.  I would love if my invoices could be branded and cohesive with my aesthetic.
I also don't like that I can't schedule repeating appointments.  This missing feature alone requires me to pay for another scheduling software.

**What problems is HoneyBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before honey book I was handling all onboarding and keeping track of referral credits and account notes.  I had sticky notes and apple notes and loose pieces of paper.  I love that this is all in one place so I don't lose track of people and it also saves me a lot of time.
I don't use the imbedded AI email writing feature very often, because it's very important to me to sound authentic, but the times I have used it have saved me time and streamlined my process.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

HoneyBook has completely transformed and streamlined our event booking process, which was previously managed through a combination of manual workflows, paper records, and multiple calendars. One of the biggest benefits was the seamless integration with our organization's primary calendar, allowing us to centralize scheduling and eliminate confusion or overlap between systems.

From the initial onboarding experience, it was clear that we were in good hands. The personalized one-on-one coaching and support provided by the HoneyBook team made implementation smooth and approachable, even as we transitioned from a largely manual process.

The automation tools have been a game changer for our team, creating consistency in our workflows and reducing the stress and uncertainty that often came with managing event communications and follow-up tasks. Perhaps our favorite feature is the client portal, which keeps every aspect of a project organized and accessible in one place, from the initial inquiry through planning, contracting, and payment. Having a centralized, searchable record for each event has significantly improved both staff efficiency and the client experience.

HoneyBook has become an integral part of our operations and continues to perform exceptionally well. The platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and easy to navigate, while remaining affordable for a small nonprofit organization. We are grateful for the support, innovation, and reliability HoneyBook provides, and it has been a valuable investment for our team.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

One area for improvement would be the AI-powered suggestions. It would be helpful if the AI could retain and learn from information about our organization's specific catering operations, services, workflows, and policies over time. Currently, some of the suggested responses and recommendations do not align with our standard procedures or service offerings, which limits their usefulness. Greater customization and organizational memory would make the AI features significantly more effective and relevant for our team.

**What problems is HoneyBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges HoneyBook has helped us solve is staffing capacity. As a small nonprofit organization, we did not have the budget to hire an additional employee dedicated to managing catering and event bookings. HoneyBook's centralized platform and workflow tools have allowed us to distribute responsibilities across existing team members without creating confusion or operational bottlenecks.

Because all client communications, project details, contracts, invoices, and tasks are housed in one place, multiple staff members can easily collaborate and stay informed throughout the booking process. This has enabled us to manage our growing catering and events program effectively without adding additional personnel, resulting in both cost savings and improved operational efficiency.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

What I like best about HoneyBook is that it keeps everything I need to run my business in one place. I can create invoices, estimates, proposals, contracts, and receive payments all within the same platform, which saves a huge amount of time and keeps my workflow organized. I also love the templates they provide because they make it quick and easy to create professional client materials without starting from scratch.

From the client side, HoneyBook makes the process seamless. My clients can easily set up auto-payments, e-sign documents, and manage everything in one simple experience, which creates a smoother and more professional onboarding and payment process for everyone involved.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

One issue I’ve experienced is when sending invoices to clients who also use HoneyBook for their own business. Sometimes the payment link redirects them to their own HoneyBook dashboard instead of the invoice I sent, which can create confusion and delays when trying to submit payment. It would be helpful if the client payment experience was a little more streamlined for users who already have existing HoneyBook accounts.

HoneyBook solves the problem of having to use multiple platforms to manage my business. It keeps invoices, contracts, proposals, payments, and client workflows all in one place, which saves me time and keeps everything organized. **What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

HoneyBook keeps our proposals, contracts, invoices, payments, and client communication organized in one place. The Smart Files feature saves time, creates a professional client experience, and makes managing event bookings much more efficient.

It can take some time to learn all of HoneyBook’s features when getting started. Occasionally, I would like more flexibility in customizing workflows and templates, but overall the platform is easy to use.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

It's all the business admin tools I need in one (I have a service-based business). I love having it all in one place and for one price. On top of highly useful admin tools, the Templates and Automation features have been absolutely key for me because I can provide a really positive, consistent product and customer experience with very little energy or time (and I am just a team of one).

They are always improving the tool as well, with even more helpful features that small businesses/consultants actually need. Great customer support as well if you need help with a specific issue, or even just wondering the best way to do something.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

There are still some glitchy functionalities that haven't been fixed, despite a lot of other improvements they've made. Most of those glitches that actually cause inconvenience are in the Scheduler - if you add to the calendar description, it sends a notification to the client but words it as being "rescheduled," and this has caused confusion for my clients. Also, within the scheduler, adding time off or removing availability for random days is not very easy. Other than those things, which they'll hopefully fix soon, I'm super happy with HoneyBook and highly recommend it.

Solving so many admin problems - not only saving me a TON of time, but also allowing me to deliver consistent, high quality products/services to my clients.

I love that Honeybook has an app, which makes it truly accessible on the go. I also appreciate that I can customize everything to match my brand/business. The platform is very user-friendly, and the design is easy to navigate.

A common issue I run into with Honeybook is that the app frequently requires a strong Wi‑Fi or cellular connection to perform tasks, which can be frustrating. I have also noticed that emails sent to clients from Honeybook don't always get delivered. The 3% transaction fee seems a bit high.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

I use HoneyBook to invoice my clients and to have a place to organize my projects and contacts. It helps keep me on top of my invoices and when they're going out, plus payments. It reminds me when clients haven't paid so I can send reminders. I love the templates I'm able to use and how I can customize each template specifically for that client, because I like to use my clients' logos and colors in their invoices as well as the landing page they come to to pay their invoice. I think it gets a very nice, white-glove-type finish. I also like that HoneyBook makes getting all my records together for when it's time to pay taxes or just keeping track of my expenses. What I really appreciate is that it helps me stay organized and stay on top of my invoices. When you have a lot of clients and you're sending out a lot of invoices, it can be hard to keep track of who has paid and who hasn't, so it's nice that it lets me know right away. I like the little cha-ching sound when somebody makes a payment. I also appreciate that when somebody hasn't even opened the invoice, it lets me know, because that way I can check that I have the information correct and contact the client to remind them. I very much appreciate how it stays on top of my invoices. That is key to my business. I'm still exploring and learning how it works, and I'm excited to see it's getting more and more new functions. I appreciate the AI assist, like when I send an invoice, it'll make the email message for me. It's just very time-saving. The setup was pretty easy and simple. I only had one question I had to go into the AI chatbot to figure out, but it gave me the answer I needed, and I was able to set everything up quickly. I moved from Square, and I like this one better. HoneyBook just seemed like the best fit for me. I'd rate it an eight, and for someone who's an entrepreneur like I am, I'd go closer to a 10.

{"I'm still kind of learning it, so sometimes it can be hard for me to find maybe past invoices or projects or things like that.","The left hand side of the screen, where it has the list of everything, is a little bit confusing for me.","I would simplify that left hand side of the bar and the search so I don't have to have my brain work that hard to find what I need.","I export everything to put into my QuickBooks for my taxes, and I need to see what HoneyBook can integrate with — I haven't fully set up other integrations yet.","Maybe I need to take a class. I would like more tutorials and tutorial videos for different features. FAQs really should always have a tutorial video, because sometimes hearing it is even more helpful."}

I love the customization capabilities of HoneyBook, especially because I work with graphic designs, and making my proposals look presentable and professional is really important. I enjoy uploading custom fonts, colors, and my own images, and the content blocks are extremely helpful for making it look great without needing to code or import new designs. The ease of customization is a major plus for me. The mobile app is also a significant advantage. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty straightforward because they have lots of existing templates that make it easy to start.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

While I like the reminders and notifications, sometimes it can be a bit much with the revenue notifications. Probably like when they say "oh revenue is down" or something similar it is a bit negative and discouraging.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

I love how HoneyBook runs my business for me, especially thanks to its automations. It allowed me to manage my business smoothly even during personal emergencies, like when I had to be by my father's side in the hospital. My clients did not even notice I was absent. HoneyBook truly lets everything run normally without much involvement from me unless it's for new business or consultations. The help desk at HoneyBook is fantastic too; they've been incredibly supportive whenever I've faced any confusion. Even when the help desk couldn't resolve my issues immediately, they always got back to me with the answers, and I've also used HoneyBook consultants when needed.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

My main gripe is on the project fields that we cannot rearrange them. That is actually a huge thorn in my side because as the business has grown and we've evolved in how we use HoneyBook in our business, we've added fields in the projects page. But because we can't rearrange them, we're going up and down and around, and it makes our consult more problematic.

HoneyBook streamlines everything for my wedding officiant business, automating tasks that previously took 20 hours a week to do manually, allowing me to maintain business operations even during personal emergencies.

**What do you like best about HoneyBook?**

I love that everything is in one place with HoneyBook, making it very easy to navigate. This feature helps me save time, allowing me to focus on what I really enjoy instead of getting bogged down with details like sending proposals or contracts. The software includes professional contracts and a variety of payment options for clients, which streamlines my process and helps my company appear as professional as I would like. It was very easy to set up because HoneyBook already had useful templates, and it was simple to upload my contracts and design proposals and invoices with my company logo. They also offer a lot of webinars and helpful videos to navigate their system. I try to be as automated as possible, and HoneyBook makes that possible with its seamless integration with my website and Calendly.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

What doesn't work as well is when sending to other professionals or vendors, and they don't have HoneyBook themselves, it's hard with the communication back and forth. If they use a different CRM than what I use, and they're not willing to switch, it's kinda hard. Sometimes your communications get lost and may go to junk or spam. So trying to communicate with other vendors who don't have the same CRM is kinda difficult. Sometimes I have to go off the CRM and use traditional emails to make sure everyone gets everything.

HoneyBook solves communication issues with clients and streamlines sending professional proposals, contracts, and invoices. It saves me time, allowing me to focus on what I enjoy, and helps my company appear professional with efficient workflows and payment options.

One of the reasons I prefer HoneyBook is that it allows me to make adjustments after the initial payment has been made, which is often necessary in my business. One thing I don’t particularly like is the way the app functions on an iPad. The interface feels much more intuitive and efficient on the desktop version, so I typically use that instead whenever possible.

The AI features are genuinely useful, especially the Google AI assistant. It lets me stay focused on my clients during a call and trust that the AI will capture an accurate recap afterward. I also like being able to set up auto-reply templates; it’s a nice, practical touch.

Overall, there’s a learning curve, and I know I’ve probably only scratched the surface of what it can do. I’m just too busy right now to really learn it properly.

I think right now, it's just a matter of familiarizing myself with where things are and how to use the different tools. I did find it hard to understand the whole front to back experience until I had an actual client walk through those things. It would be helpful if there were more video tutorials available, kind of like a library, so you can step by step understand each phase from the back end and what your clients are going to experience.

I love that HoneyBook provides the convenience of having everything in one specified portal for my clients. It's really handy to have a calendar integrated with my phone along with a scheduling system that I truly enjoy and use frequently. I also appreciate the reporting feature that lets me know how well I'm doing and provides financial assistance for taxes. The user-friendly interface stands out, allowing me to use it on desktop, laptop, or cell phone, and I enjoy making it compatible with my lock screen and voice. The tap-to-go pay options for on-the-spot clients are a nice touch. Setting it up was very easy, and the one-month trial was great to figure out and navigate through everything.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

Things aren't working that well for me with HoneyBook is the AI note taking system. I wish that it was a little bit more customized. In the sense of being sensitive on picking up the correct conversation that's being had, as well as the format of it is convenient for my client as well that it's not just simply provided to me in the portal for notes, that it's automatically emailed to them instead of me copy pasting it from my email to theirs.

I like HoneyBook's ease of use which makes navigation smooth. The customer support is really responsive; whenever I have a question, I can just put it in chat and usually get a response within twenty to thirty minutes, solving my problems quickly. This quick resolution means I can return to focusing on my customers and other important tasks sooner. The contact form feature and the smooth navigation add to its usability. Even though I don't use all the features, the ones I do use are perfect for me. The setup was super easy, only taking about fifteen minutes before I could start navigating around. It's easy enough that I can teach someone else to use it without a problem. I've also shared my positive experience with other small business owners, and they've switched to HoneyBook as well.

One thing I think should be updated pretty quickly is the option to generate a quote without payment terms. Sometimes it's just a quote that the customer wants.

I like how HoneyBook has autopay for clients, allowing me to set up automatic billing. The ease of updating contracts and having templates to customize them for each client is crucial for me. I enjoy the convenience of having contracts and invoices all in one place, with everything sent out together. The new feature that makes it easier to get paid faster with invoices, connecting to Stripe, is something I appreciate. I also like that I can send everything to a client in one email.

I wish the templates were a little bit easier to fill out and the forms. I find it's a little bit tedious when connecting everything, and it's not as intuitive as I would like it to be even though I've used a lot of different systems and am pretty computer savvy. I know it could be connected to more tools, but I haven't found it that easy to set up. Prices have gone up on HoneyBook, so I think they're similar right now price-wise with Dubsado. There are definitely some things I would like to either learn how to use better or, there may be some limitations that it has that have stopped me up in the past.

It would be good to be able to access additional fields in my onboarding forms. For my standard emails, I need to access student names but it is unavailable with the normal smart fields. The project type field is too small for my use. It needs to be 64 characters in length. The yearly cost for me doubled last year, which takes funds from my non-profit that could be used elsewhere.

It also doesn't help that customer service isn't very helpful. I've asked for a demo multiple times, as the owner of the organization also doesn't know much about Honeybook features and was told no. Why wouldn't Honeybook want to manage and help their users?

I mostly like how easy the contracts and payments work for me and the client. I can just set up a template and send it over for them to sign, make little tweaks, and then on their end they just do a credit card and it gets scheduled. It's upfront and easy to understand for both parties. HoneyBook helps me with scheduling conflicts and keeping myself organized, making sure I don't double book a wedding on the same day, and it keeps me organized with payments. I also liked the easy integration into my calendar. Inquiries automatically get loaded into my Google Calendar so I can see at a glance when they inquire if I'm busy that weekend or even that day, without having to cross reference and add it in manually. The initial setup was pretty easy. These are the things that are most helpful for me in my wedding videography business.

I like that there are so many integrations. I use this specifically to manage my real estate client, and we use FloDesk and Canva, and I can integrate her email marketing contacts easily and can use templates we've already decide and import them but make sending out custom showing proposals, open houses, etc. automated while still keeping the branding the same. With real estate having so many different types of leads and coming from other sources, it's really nice to have everything in one place and organized.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

I wish their task project pipeline was a little more user friendly on the project management side. For people who aren't familiar with interacting with CRMs that much, when I want to share an outlook on something with Jacqui (the real estate agent whose marketing I do) it can be difficult to breakdown and explain in remote settings.

With real estate, my client has potential leads coming from many different sources- from in-person meetings and networking, newsletter clicks, social media followers, people who interact with QR codes from marketing materials, etc. that there are a lot of different buckets and processes here, and having one central place to call home for everything frees up space and prevents us from having to make so many documents externally through Excel sheets.

It's also pretty user-friendly, and the initial setup was pretty easy. I'm getting a lot of value from HoneyBook for just $20 a month.

The instant pay deduction is pretty hefty. I wish I could adjust the positioning of the itemized invoiced items. It's not possible to reorder invoice items through the phone.

I like that there are many integrations through Zapier, so it's easy to build workflows. I also appreciate that it's easy to book a meeting and have different booking links, which helps because my client has different types of events. And being able to connect through Zapier helps move data from HoneyBook onto other software that we use. The initial setup was also very easy, with a lot of support available.

**What do you dislike about HoneyBook?**

The reminders sometimes don't work well, and the sync to Microsoft calendar doesn't work well. It works when it wants to.

I use HoneyBook to schedule meetings, send reminders to clients, and keep my work organized with meeting transcripts.

I do wish the portal was more user customizable and able to upload more documents, and even project files. A way for the clients to track the progress of the project would be ideal.

It keeps me organized with my dates and times! It’s a tremendous help in my business. It benefits me to have all my inquiries in one place all my emails in one place and payments. Also, I have the HoneyBook credit card and it saves all my taxes for me.
