"Flexible Features, But Buggy and Poor Support"
What do you like best about Jotform?

I appreciate that Jotform offers a lot of great functionality even in the free tier, which represents a significant value compared to other survey tools that are more expensive and have limited free versions. The setup process was easy, and I found the platform to be highly customizable. I really like its flexibility, especially in handling inputs with various styles of input tables and matrices, which allows me to tailor the forms to specific needs. Using Jotform has helped me collect comprehensive information efficiently, minimizing the need for back-and-forth communication, thus saving time and reducing frustration in my business. Additionally, I use Jotform in conjunction with Google Sheets, which enhances my workflow and data management capabilities. Unfortunately, all of the things I like are tenered by the fact that many of the features I need to use have experienced bugs recently and support is not well equipped to troubleshoot them and it is very hard to get them to escalate things to developers to review. What do you dislike about Jotform?

I find Jotform to have a lot of problems with bugs that affect critical features like the AI chatbot and email notifications. These bugs prevent me from using the software as intended. The support experience has been frustrating, as they were not effective in troubleshooting issues and wasted time with repetitive steps that were not relevant. The support team did not replicate issues themselves, which could have easily been observed, leading to prolonged problems. Additionally, the requirement for an institution email to qualify for educational discounts seems overly restrictive and led to increased costs. The inability to access higher-level support like Zoom sessions without the enterprise tier is another drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
