What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

While Apollo.io is incredibly useful, the occasional outdated contact information and bounced emails can be frustrating. The UI can also feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are so many features to explore. A slightly simpler onboarding and faster sync with CRM would make the experience even better. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

What stands out the most is how much time Apollo saves me in my outreach workflow. I use it primarily for lead generation and cold email campaigns. The contact database is huge, and the filters let me narrow down exactly who I want to target by title, company size, tech stack, etc. Once I build a list, I can launch email sequences directly from Apollo and track opens, clicks, and replies without leaving the platform. It’s a massive time-saver compared to switching between multiple tools. I also use the Chrome extension a lot while browsing LinkedIn, which makes it easy to add contacts to lists. What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

One challenge I’ve had is data accuracy. While the contact database is large, some emails bounce or are outdated, especially for startups or lesser-known companies. I’ve learned to verify emails through another tool when accuracy is critical. Also, the platform can feel a little overwhelming at first. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I really like the fact that Apollo offers a single pane of glass to manage sequences, research prospects, and identify additional departments or contacts within existing clients. It’s intuitive, easy to set up, and saves a ton of time compared to juggling multiple tools.

The built-in database is robust, the filtering options are powerful, and the integration with our CRM made it simple to operationalize outbound campaigns quickly. I also appreciate the analytics and visibility into engagement — it helps refine messaging and target more effectively.

If I had to note one area for improvement, I’d like to see even more granularity in deliverability reporting and guidance on subdomain/tracking configuration, since that setup can impact results.

I had a great experience using Apple when I first had to get leads fro LinkedIn to build a B2B pipeline. It was so easy to use and gave quality results for email ID and phone number. I'm concerned about the accuracy of the data provided by Apollo.io. Although we switched to Apollo.io because of data accuracy issues with our previous provider, I have noticed that, over time, a lot of the contact information from Apollo.io is also inaccurate. This has forced me to rely on other platforms, such as Seamless AI, which seems to have more reliable sourcing capabilities.
