I like the really nice UI of Attentive which is easy to use. It's also cool how they use their sign-up units to capture SMS opt-ins. Getting SMS opt-ins from customers is very easy with Attentive, and it allows me to send SMS communications conveniently. I would love to see them integrate with WhatsApp messaging, especially for international countries if we want to expand our reach. And right now, they are limited to, basically email and SMS. I would appreciate greater transparency in the analytics, especially regarding revenue attribution. It’s often unclear how Attentive determines the revenue attributed to individual SMS campaigns. Because the platform isn’t fully integrated with all of our internal sales systems, it can be challenging to confirm the source and accuracy of these figures. What I like best about Attentive is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. It makes setting up campaigns, automations, and list growth tools incredibly simple — even for someone without a deep technical background. Beyond ease of use, it’s powerful. Honestly, there’s not much I dislike. If I had to pick something, I’d say the pricing can feel a bit steep as your list grows, especially for smaller teams or startups. That said, the value is definitely there — it’s just something to keep an eye on as your subscriber count scales. The customer support provided by Attentive is hands-down the #1 reason we stick with them. We have worked with several account reps over the years and every single one has provided excellent service, attention to detail, and reliability. Although they are not the cheapest or easiest tool out there, they are the most innovative and quick-to-market with new features (especially proprietary AI.) A lot of power-user and enterprise features are available but not included in their UI, so we rely on their White Glove team for implementation. I'm very impressed by the amount of support and quickness of that support. Any issues have been thoroughly addressed and additionally, we've been onboarding to a new crm and they've been able to bend over backwards just to make that possible. The only complaint on my end is attentive logs you out of your account every 10 minutes of inactivity then makes you log back in with your password and every 10 days they make you verify it with your sms. I appreciate Attentive's easy-to-use interface, which simplifies navigation compared to other tools like Bloomreach, Braze, and Klaviyo. This usability significantly reduces my workload and enables me to manage SMS and email campaigns more efficiently. I value the ability of Attentive to drive incremental revenue through better SMS and triggered campaign emails, alongside its capability to lower my ESP pricing significantly. The resourceful and responsive support team has been beneficial, as has the straightforward platform setup, which, despite the inherent complexity of email migrations, included replication of all our templates and journeys. Attentive is consistently building on their product in new and innovative ways. They open up beta programs to users and are always looking for feedback on the product and making changes accordingly. Our account rep is very knowledgeable in the platform - shout out to Adam M! He and the team come to our weekly syncs with ideas that are not just new features to pitch but ways to help us meet our goals. They get to know us and our company and provide suggestions based on how we operate and our KPIs. The portal or platform itself is easy to navigate. Attentive has been a great platform for us, and one of the biggest strengths is how easy it is to use. The interface is intuitive, making it simple to build and manage campaigns without a steep learning curve. What really sets Attentive apart, though, is the quality of their customer service. From our customer success manager to the support staff, everyone has been quick to respond whenever we’ve needed help, and they go above and beyond to make sure our issues are resolved.

Our customer success manager, in particular, has been a fantastic resource. They’ve taken the time to understand our goals and have provided fresh insights into how we approach our SMS campaigns. By suggesting creative adjustments to both our audience targeting and messaging style, they’ve helped us unlock new opportunities and improve campaign performance. One challenge I’ve found with Attentive is that building segments can be a bit difficult. While the platform overall is easy to use, the segmentation process isn’t quite as intuitive and can take more time than expected, especially when trying to create more detailed or customized audiences.

Another area for improvement is the accessibility of their help and support resources. Unlike other software platforms where documentation and guides are easy to find and navigate, Attentive’s resources aren’t always as readily available. While their support team is responsive when you reach out, having more self-service tools and accessible resources would make it easier to quickly troubleshoot or learn new features on our own. My biggest struggle with Attentive is their ability to integrate with common Shopify apps. Many apps that have deep integrations and customization available with other providers do not have the same functions with Attentive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If I have a random general question I can always email WhiteGlove and for numbers, or feature questions, strategy advice, etc I can always email my personal Attentive Rep, which I believe is gold. Other vendors I rely on and use do take several days to get back to me, so I know that means I need to research and stop working to take time to figure out what I need.
