I really like how Attentive allows us to segment and structure communication with customers in a great way. I do love the way in which we can build user flows and understand our cohorts quickly. Also, having the ability to quickly segment and slice up those user groups helps create great marketing strategies and communication.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

It can be sometimes cumbersome to work with their dashboards, and their overall UI and UX seems a little bit noisy.

One thing that could be improved is the requirement to send messages in 5 minute intervals. It would be helpful if we could send messages at any time, making real-time moments even more valuable for us so we can jump in at a timely manner.

Attentive is top-notch in their SMS experience, leading the industry with new innovations and immediate, extremely helpful customer care. I find the platform very easy to use, whether it's for setting up campaigns, reporting, or anything else. The dedicated account manager is invaluable for guiding strategy. Attentive's intuitive platform updates segments in real time, and it has reliably grown our SMS revenue significantly, even surpassing email. The initial setup was extremely easy, and their white glove service was very helpful.

I also like that it's consistently incorporating AI to stay current. The ease of use for campaigns stands out to me, and the service team has been very helpful. The initial setup was not bad, pretty easy with whiteglove service.

I find Attentive easy to use and appreciate that it's not too glitchy. I like being able to add an image to mass texts, which makes announcements for our events look nice. It's also helpful that I can save contacts easily. The initial setup was pretty easy too.

It tries to give me the option to add video but it never works in the test sends.

Attentive allows me to make mass announcements in a casual way and easily add images to texts for a nice presentation. It's user-friendly and not glitchy, making event communication seamless.

I find it difficult to track specifics of what has been sent to customers. Troubleshooting issues can be challenging. From a customer service perspective, we often assist customers trying to find out why they are not receiving emails. It's often difficult to see specific emails sent and figure out why they are not receiving emails when they are showing they are subscribed.

I use Attentive to manage both email and SMS needs in one place. It's easy to use and allows multiple departments to access information seamlessly.

I don't like the visibility of customer data and would prefer more comprehensive information on all data points for customers. The process for adding customers to Attentive could be easier. Also, I'd like to send flow messages using historical data, similar to how Klaviyo does.

I appreciate Attentive for allowing us to have a robust signup unit and opt-in strategy, which has significantly helped with subscriber acquisition. Attentive also has powerful capabilities within journeys, which has helped elevate our personalization strategy. What stands out to me is the very great whiteglove service, support, and overall great Customer Success Managers. Additionally, I enjoy the very nice and responsive UX/UI.

Segmentation capabilities can be improved. So can journeys – would love to see more robust abilities to branch and filter within journeys. Also could improve their custom reports and dashboards.

I like how easy the platform is to use and how quickly I can send out a campaign when needed. It helps convert customers with the flows we have set up. Setting up a campaign is straightforward, and I appreciate the AI suggestions for other things to say, which makes it easy if I want to set up any A/B tests. The initial setup was fairly simple as well.

I want more ways to feature products in my campaigns. It would be cool if product carousels could be featured.

I like Attentive's customer support whenever we run into issues. They are very on top of it and quick to respond. The team we've worked with has also helped with creative, which is always a nice addition. Setting up is very easy, and the team is good at explaining the setup and the reasons behind things.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Maybe finding new ways to contact customers that don't feel as invasive. Sometimes the frequency doesn't work very well. It could benefit from ways to create A/B testing within the software to see if different messaging is a hit or not.

The team would love to have an app. We're often editing/sending on the go, and the desktop interface does not work well on mobile.

I like the UX, and overall the platform is very intuitive and easy to navigate. That said, I do wish there were a few more integrations available to help streamline reporting.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The reporting could be more streamlined. Right now, it doesn’t let me look holistically at message-level performance for journeys and one-off campaigns within the same dashboard, so having to flip back and forth is a real pain point.

We can quickly send SMS messages, get real-time results, and efficiently iterate based on what we learn from those results.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

The platform is extremely comfortable to use. But my favorite thing is the white glove team. They are extremely helpful and no request is ever too much for them and they will always take the time to explain whatever is needed

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The email platform still has some major bugs and annoying traits that I’ve shared. For example there is no auto save when creating or designing an email. Pair that with a super sensitive “back” function (happens whe sliding fingers on mouse track) it causes extreme frustration.

Also, the sign up unit customization needs a lot of work. There are always bugs when playing around with the spacing between titles etc

I find creating campaigns with Attentive to be pretty useful.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I don't like that I ended up spending more money using Attentive than I did with my other provider. The initial setup was a little challenging, with a lot of snags that needed to get worked out, and I had to have some custom programming done, which was actually all pretty bumpy.

I use Attentive to email and text message my customers' promotions, which is useful for my marketing efforts.

I like the white glove support, which is usually fantastic. Attentive's support team is staffed with intelligent and competent people who don't waste my time with fluff language. They tend to get right to the heart of whatever core problem I'm having. They either point me to the right resource or tell me they will follow-up, and they actually do follow-up, which is rare.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The reporting and analytics are not as intuitive as they could be. The tool for building automated campaigns/journeys is a bit clunky and does not allow for super easy editing.

I use Attentive for SMS marketing to keep both our prospects and customers engaged and increase the conversion rate of prospects to customers.

The support from our customer success managers! They're also very open to product feedback and always looking to improve and support their clients' needs. Their SMS program is definitely best in the business!

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Sometimes hard to get support on weekends (unless it's an emergency, which it usually isn't. Email capabilities are growing fast but not yet on par with other ESPs I've used.

I really like the monthly cost of Attentive because it's financially motivated and suitable for my budget. I feel like it's more SMS-based, and that works best for my marketing efforts. I also use it integrated with Shopify, which is pretty convenient. For SMS marketing, I'd rate it a strong 10 because it's really effective.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Since it's SMS-first, the actual email marketing is sub-par and could be improved significantly. Honestly, the initial setup was quite hard.

I like the ease of use when developing segments and using those segments and journeys with Attentive. That's a standout feature for me. The initial setup was very easy, which was great.

There are a couple small bugs that you get used to, such as not being able to navigate throughout the back end UI when you are chatting with the white glove support team on chat.

I really appreciate Attentive's white glove service for its clear communication, which helps in finding solutions to questions, whether they're related to the interface or customer-facing inquiries. I also like the easy-to-use interface, which makes it quick to create and schedule campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Journey flows can be a bit challenging to create. I think there could be better A/B testing and clearer results when segmenting out flows. Having historical data when making changes to flows would also be helpful.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I think the UX of the system is better than Klayvio. There's less noise and it's slightly more intuitive. I also find that designing an email on Attentive is easy to do.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I think making visual suggestions on the layout to maximize conversion or click-through rate would be a great added feature. There needs to be another view to see how the email looks with fallback fonts. I create emails with brand font in mind but usually, I get fallback fonts, and it looks very different. Also, ADA compliance suggestions or best practices would be good.

The user experience for the everyday email or SMS builder/sender is extremely intuitive and simple to navigate. The initial setup checklists and reporting are also very intuitive and easy to work through once you get going. The White Glove (concierge) team is phenomenal - helpful, friendly, and quick to provide support. I love that you can reach them via email, chat, or phone. The dedicated account strategists are also super helpful and provide great insights and tips to act on, and the legal/compliance teams are solid gold - I know I can trust them to keep us within the guardrails, no matter what country we're in. They also support a wide range of integrations and partnerships and continue to expand them. Overall, I really appreciate their level of hands-on support, expertise, and the user-friendly backend UI.

The email side of the platform is newer, so there are still some functional limitations in overall email builds and execution, and in how they integrate into multi-channel campaigns and journeys. However, they are addressing these challenges with new product releases every quarter.

We have worked with several account reps over the years and every single one has provided excellent service, attention to detail, and reliability. Although they are not the cheapest or easiest tool out there, they are the most innovative and quick-to-market with new features (especially proprietary AI.)

A lot of power-user and enterprise features are available but not included in their UI, so we rely on their White Glove team for implementation. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely and interruption to the flow of a fast-moving team that prefers self-service.
