**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

There is no support for our native language and multi language options are also not available. Even so the support team has been really helpful in helping me find workarounds.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

The limited language support. With more language options and multi language support. Set up would be way easier for us.

**What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to reward loyal customers as well as having the option to reward referrals. Smile helps us do both.

What I like most about Smile.io is the ease of use and its management for loyalty programs. It is intuitive and saves me design time.

Smile.io is very easy to use, and I found that both the implementation and integration processes were even simpler.

Smile.io feels quite expensive, even for the most basic package. Sometimes I find myself questioning whether the cost is truly justified.

I've been using it for some time now, and I can't really see how it is benefiting myself or my clients.

As I relaunch my skincare business, the Smile rewards program makes it so much easier to connect with my customers and build lasting trust. As a new business owner it’s easy to use and my customer service rep was very kind and helpful.

We implemented Smile.io for our Shopify store, Taylor Joelle.  My favorite thing is the combination of points for purchases and the referral program. It’s given our loyal customers a really easy way to share their love for Taylor Joelle with friends and get rewarded for it.

I can't think of anything at the moment that I just like

It gives customers a clear incentive (points and rewards) to shop with you again, it helps turn  one-time buyers into repeat customers.

Honestly, I have nothing to dislike.  Every interaction has been smooth, and their support team has been consistently helpful and friendly.  If only every company had this level of service!

Their app helps me simplify the process of rewarding customers, encouraging repeat purchases and boosting overall engagement on my website. **What do you like best about Smile.io?**

Smile was easy to set up, integration into shopify themes is straightforward, the app is easy to navigate, nicely customisable and the support from the smile team is excellent. Most importantly, using Smile has definitely boosted our customer sales both in store and online.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

The one fault I have with it is that customers have to activate their account on our website before they can use their points. Ideally we would like to set them up on shopify POS in store in one step. Cole helped me navigate this issue so that now customers can activate their accounts more easily through a counter QR code. I would also love it if points were applied to checkout automatically. I think this is available with an upgrade but we're already paying so much for add on apps I'm not willing to do this yet.

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

We have been using Smile for a few years now. I like that the platform is very straightforward and easy to navigate on the backend for us. We can easily look up customer points and see our analytics. I think it's also very straightforward for customers too. I like how when you open the review widget it very clearly explains to the customer how to use it. The customer support is extremely helpful and they answer questions very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

I think Smile is a bit expensive. For many years we were able to be on the free plan which was very nice, but now I think it's a little overpriced. Also, we don't see customers using the program as much as we would like and sometimes they don't use it enough to justify the cost of the subscription.

**What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smile gives our customers an easy way to be rewarded for their purchases. I like that customers can earn rewards without even having to sign up for an account, it makes it very easy for them. It benefits us because it makes our customers feel valued and it keeps them coming back to our store to use and earn points.

I've been using Smile.io for a few years now, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The app is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to set up and manage a loyalty program without needing any technical expertise. The interface is clean, intuitive, and packed with features that help drive customer engagement and retention.

The integration with shopify is very quick and easy and allows easy access for frequent use from the shopify dashboard.

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

The platform is convenient and intuitive. The functionality is sufficient for a rewards program on both the business and customer-facing sides. Their customer support service is fantastic, friendly and quick.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

The price is creeping upwards; it's the only thing that is difficult for small-medium businesses, as rewards are a loss leader already, so additional cost to manage the program makes it even harder to scale these services to our customers.

Complete management of rewards and referrals, it would be costly to develop our own app, or too manual for us to manage this ourselves.

Love that we are able to increase retention with the loyalty function. Also love the referral rewards are baked in too.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

I don't like that you can't customize the email automations to reflect your branding/fonts, etc. Brand is so important to us. We are still not 100% sure we want to stick with smile long term if this doesn't eventually change. We are holding out hope.

It's helping increase retention which increases ltv and overall revenue.

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

I enjoy using Smile.io. It provides good incentives for my customers and increased business for us. 

It was easy for me and my customers to use. Straightforward user friendly product. Since the platform is user friendly customer would use it on a daily basis which in return increased sales. I haven't had any issues on the customer side redeeming point or anything of that nature. I like that it implemented seamlessly with Shopify. The times I had to reach out to customer support they responded promptly.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

It can be expensive for small businesses, but they have a free plan to start off with.

**What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not aware of any avert problems that need fixing.

The support team are very quick to respond and help with queries.  Price is reasonable.  Good integration with shopify and Klaviyo

Very out of the box and hard to adapt it for your needs.  The refer a friend element needs more work and integration with Klaviyo

Rewarding customers for loyalty.  Customers are engaged with the programme and those that sign up for loyalty come back much more often than those that don't

Since we began using this application, our business has seen a significant increase in repeat customers. The process for customers to accumulate reward points and redeem them for future purchases is straightforward and user-friendly. Honestly, the biggest plus is how easy it is to set up and use. We run our store on Shopify and Smile.io integrated without any headaches – no coding, no weird settings. It just worked. We were able to launch our rewards program in under an hour. Customers understand how to use it right away, and it’s helped drive repeat purchases without us having to constantly push for it. I also like that we can customize the look and feel to match our branding pretty well.

Smile.io is a great program to introduce rewards in exchange for customer touches, which keeps your brand relevant and in contact with your base. In exchange for minimal and basic rewards, we receive customer engagement, retention, and sales that we otherwise wouldn't. 

The app was easy to integrate into our BigCommerce platform and we plan to continue to use the app as we migrate to Shopify this year. It was also simple to set up the app, and get to know the features with a free trial prior to committing to a monthly plan. 

We have not had to use customer support, but I do enjoy that I get an email every month when my account is going to be charged, there is never a surprise in the billing. 

For us, the app has been a "set it and forget it" type of situation, our customers use the app frequently but we do not have to go into it often.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

While we enjoy the rewards aspect of the app, we were disappointed with the referrals portion. Perhaps it was our customer base, but we do not see it being engaged with very often.

A few other obstacles we had to overcome was putting customers into groups so that they would be excluded from the rewards program (wholesale accounts).

And the other is the overall front end UX, we do find that our customers are often confused about the pop-up in corner, I do wish there was an option to embed the app into a page aswell, so we can send a direct link.

I've been using Smile.io for my Shopify store, Lavish Bath Creations, and it has been a great addition to my website. It has been easy to set up and and use. My customers really like being able to earn points for their purchases.

I really like that the dashboard allows me to track customer engagement and rewards easily and by clicking a specific customer you can see their personal activity within the app. Plus, the ability to customize the look of the rewards program is appreciated because it allows you to make it a perfect fit for your branding.

For a small business like ours, it's all the tools you need to get started with a loyalty program. Set up is easy, and the consumer experience is easy as well. No additional accounts to set up, it's just works "out of the box" with their Shopify accounts.

I wish there was a way to award points in exchange for signing up for our newsletter—a different activity than creating an account. It's not a big deal, but our Shopify theme included a nice CTA for newsletter sign up that we can't really take full advantage of because it's too confusing to ask people to opt into the newsletter AND make an account.

The pricing jump between tiers, it goes from $50 a month to $200 a month, when you get a bit bigger in terms of orders. Also, for me so far I haven't been able to really delve into getting the most out of customers spending their points. I don't know enough in how to ensure anyone who lands on the website can sign up and they get all these great benefits, and also even how they can access their account and see what points they  have.

Time will tell, but more returning customers. Also good customer service and features.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

Not possible to combine VIP/Referal discounts with existing automatic discounts.

**What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To give customers more options and discounts when coming back for return purchases, hopefully increase returning customer rate.

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

It functions smoothly and integrates nicely with our platform.   It also has decent customer support and is pretty easy to setup in the beginning as I recall.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

The lack of ability to add points at the cart/checkout level is not ideal.   Also I wish that the widgets showing the program were more customizable.

**What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smile does provide rewards points to our customers which encourages customers to sign up rather than checkout as guest.   This overall helps.

One of the features I like about Smile.io is how simple it is to set up and showcase your brand to potential and existing customers.

I would say the only thing I don't like is there are features that I would like to use, but can't afford yet!

The main reason I launched with Smile.io was to build a loyalty program that would keep my customers coming back to us. And what's great is that we build our social following as well!

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

I like smile.io because it's easy for the customers to use - they love to collect the points and redeem coupons. I have used it for years and it has helped customer retention very much. Customer support is excellent - on the rare occasions I have questions, they are very quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

Sometimes, it won't allow customers to access their points screen from the main page on the website. I believe it is for security reasons and once I tell the customers how to switch the page, it works great!

I don't have any problems with Smile.io

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

I like the automation and the ability to do VIP tiers.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

I was under the impression we would be able to schedule point multiplier days for VIP tiers, but found out that it is currently limited to one earning rate. It is a major headache and open to a lot of errors doing this manually. Our wholesale VIP program has 7 tiers to set and reset correctly. I also think that custom ways to earn really needs the ability to add a landing page to be the "call to action" link next to the action. For ex: "Do Our Quiz" on the customer end would have a button next to it in the launcher that says "Start" and we can direct it to the landing page. And lastly, SMS and Email needs to be integrated for customer sign up natively just by connecting klaviyo. Currently how its set up rewards people only if they are new customers because there's only "placed an order" and "customer created" triggers for your flows.

Helping to keep people engaged in other ways outside of email promotions creates a source of steady income in the background.

Easy to set up, easy to use, and integration was good. Customers are enjoying the loyalty program. Customer support has also been helpful when we've run into issues  (only once or twice.) Overall very happy!

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

We've had some issues with customers not being able to redeem their points, usually when we're running a sale with a discount code.

**What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smile allowed us to jump into the loyalty program market! We did not have one before. Our customers are really enjoying it!

I love the dashboard and how intuitive the platforms backend is. It's really easy to set up and the options for your customer are great. Also, the customer service was good. They were really helpful in helping me to understand the platform.

The only thing I didn't like about the platform was the price and the limited features you get with the lower tiers.

It solves the problem of making my product feel more like a community and like they're being rewarded for taking care of their skin.

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

Hi, I'm a designer at Apptile (A no -code app dev platform), In my work, I’ve used Smile.io across multiple client projects while designing apps on Apptile, and honestly, it’s been one of the easiest loyalty tools to work with. It integrates smoothly and doesn’t require a ton of hand holding, which is a big plus when you’re juggling multiple apps. Our devs have integrated it in such a way that as I designer can just easily integrate it with our client apps. I like that the UI they have is very clean and doesn't need much customizations before you go live, and that even without much technical knowledge you can use it. The customer support is also great.. they are ready to help regardless of the difficulty of the issue and it's very important to me as I use their product very often. Smile is great for both small and big brands alike.. really satisfied with their service.

**What do you dislike about Smile.io?**

Not much, but some great features aren't available on free plan. I do get that great products come at a cost.. but it prevents smaller brands from accessing it.

**What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I work on a lot of apps at Apptile (which is an early stage startup).. speed is very important to us. I love the face that it's easier to setup and go live fast with Smile.

**What do you like best about Smile.io?**

This app allowed me to do exactly what I needed for my customer base that I wanted to reward for purchasing from my store. It was very easy to use and integrate with my store. What stood out most though was the willingness of the customer support team to help me. They reached out several times to ensure that I was using it to its max potential. Keep in mind, although this app has features that you can invest into, it is essentially a free app. To have received the customer support I did for a free app is what stood out to me the most! Great app, Great service!

At this point none. I have yet to fully use it for what I intended to but will begin implementing it more shortly.

Only allowing a select group of my customer base to accrue loyalty points
