## Bluecore Reviews
  ### 1. User-Friendly UI, But Buggy Site Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna N.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

I find Bluecore's UI extremely user-friendly, which is a big plus because it means we don't need to hire coders or outside resources to build a segment. The initial setup was very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Many bugs and does not offer a ton in terms of site capabilities.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore helps us with targeted email sends and site enhancements. Its extremely user-friendly UI means we don't need to hire coders for building segments.

  ### 2. Simple Setup for Dynamic Campaigns

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

I really like how simple it is to set up dynamic campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I dislike that, during data imports, I’m unable to overwrite existing data with null values.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore makes it easy for our marketing team to set up their own email marketing campaigns and deploy them quickly.

  ### 3. Turned things around for us!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven C. | Growth Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Our CSM is resourceful and always happy to help us solve the many challenges we encounter at Bluecore! Chris has been a huge asset in our experience with Bluecore to reach our goals for the year. Also, Joe has enabled us to get to where we needed in terms of strategy throughout 2024!

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Bluecore's interface is not as easy as other platforms and require some additional training to find what you're looking for.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching our yearly goal and making Email/SMS cmapaigns our 2nd best revenue stream in eCommerce.

  ### 4. Template language is a breeze

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pilar F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

As a developer I found that the templating language was easy to grasp and implement. The API documentation was thorough and straightforward which saved time when testing payloads and triggering emails both in lower instances and in production. I personally used Postman as a way to test through all emails prior to handing payloads over to our external systems to begin triggering the emails. Most of our core transactional emails use custom templates and I found the editor itself to be clean and simple to use. One last thing I would note is that the systems handle heavy loads pretty well. We have never had an issue with emails being queued for a long period of time even during high sale events.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

One thing that I feel could be improved is a better logging system that would allow you to track emails sent. Example when testing through Postman I get a conversation_id returns which I then could hit an API with that id to see if it was delivered or if there was an error. But when other systems trigger the email they are not storing the conversation_id and so when they want to know what happened to the email there is no way for me to figure out why it didn't work. A simple log that is kept for a few days that showed campaign_id, conversation_id and date of transaction would be super helpful. I also do not like if you view a template without making changes it dates it as though there were changes and tags your name as last person to edit, which often is not the case. It should only update last edited when someone actually makes a change and saves.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very light weight system in comparison to some of the bigger named software options out there. They also have a front end soltution for handling newsletter signups which I thought was interesting but took some work off my plate. They do well in personalization and analytics to know how best to approach marketing to customers.

  ### 5. Bluecore is a great tool but needs a little more.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maliha I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Its very user friendly and I was easily able to get around and learn the tool. We are able to easily see all of the campaigns that are active. Great dashboard feature as well.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

You are not able to pull KPIs for all campaigns at once but instead have to go into each campaign to pull the CTR or percentage of clicks to pull those numbers.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore is a dependable esp that allows managing campaigns very easy and efficient. I can easily glance at the dashboard and see which campaigns did the best ecspecially with new promotions or A/B tests.

  ### 6. Easy one stop shop for ecommerce

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore is the easiest place to set up campaigns that make the biggest difference in the bottom line of our CRM program, by targeting the right customers with the right message and products at the right time.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Some of the email template tools could be easier to use in ways that make it more efficient to change multiple emails at once. The combination of global and smart content is tough to use, and it moves slow, so it take a long time to figure out what you're trying to do

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating personalized content for preference based and lifecycle based segments. The product recommendations create a sizable lift CTR and $/email that we see for our email campaigns.

  ### 7. Great campaigns and support from Bluecore team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica S. | Senior Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Triggers campaigns work really well for us with classic campaigns outperforming expectations, onboarding was supported and we continue to add new triggers campaigns all the time. Although account manager has changed fequently all have helped support us with new campaigns, audience set up and personaliation.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Currently no SMS for UK - we want to segment SMS audiences the same as we segment email. We would also add a last resort SMS to end of some of our automated campaigns. Also some difficulty with intergation sof ome aspects of back end functions including size and stock levels

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previous to Bluecore we could not set up triggered emails campaigns with journeys based on different factors. Abandon product campaign sends to customers who views products rather than just people entering an email has huge benefits. Improved functionality to increase customer retetion by targeting 'lost' and 'at risk' buyers. Personalised on all emails to make sure customers are viewing some relevant products based on past purchases or viewed products

  ### 8. Bluecore is a very robust platform but we have had some positive and negative experiences with it.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Their customer success managers have been very friendly and helpful in figuring out any issues we have run into through the onboarding process and the configuration of email, sms, and on-site campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Whenever our team runs into an issue with setting up an email, sms, or on-site campaign it can take the customer support team quite a while to get an actual answer further delaying the launch schedule for a given campaign.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore is working to solve email and sms marketing as a whole in addition to on-site campaign tools like email and sms signups for new customers, giveaways, and incentive offers.

  ### 9. High capabilities, easy to use, room for improvement when it comes to strategy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore has an easy user interface to take control / ownership of your campaigns. Their account managers bring expertise to help guide you through launching and optimizations of new automations.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

When you program reaches a certain level of sophistication, Bluecore needs to be mindful of not allowing your gains to stall out. Motivation needs to stay high to continue to partner on recommendations and optimizations to grow my business.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore is helping us deliver personalized emails based on behavioral attributes in real time. This is leading to higher engagement and conversion.

  ### 10. Some helpful stuff - but missing some basics.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Our bluecore success team is great! There are a lot of dimensions and ways to approach personalization.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Building specific segments is diffcult because they are missing basic if/and filters. Our bluecore tech team is great, but online documentation and how-tos leave a lot to be desired.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pre-built audience personalization algorithms.
We are seeing success by customizing messaging based on bluecore's consumer analysis.

  ### 11. Bluecore

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore has been a great partner in partnering with our overall goals for event triggered emails. UI is user friendly to quickly update product rule logic audiences and creative.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Takes awhile to load at times and not being able to update templates as easily.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Targeting our customers

  ### 12. Migrated from SFMC to Bluecore for our transactional emails to customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel I. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

During the migration, we had great engagement from the Bluecore team to help us understand their technology. That engagement and understanding were vital as we had a timeline for our SFMC contract ending. So it helped us get set up within that timeline while also knowing we were set up for long-term success.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The way to publish or "use draft" for email templates was a little confusing. A more straightforward approach would be preferred.

Our code logic checks which instance (sandbox, development, staging, production) to determine whether to include "use draft" in the API call to Bluecore for transactional emails. So we are setup fine, however if we publish a new version of that transactional template and then forget to also publish a draft version after that, then the lower instances API calls for transactional emails will fail.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore helps maintain that our email sending to customers get to their inbox and not in their junk or blocked by the email service provider. It also provides an easy way to look up the history of a subscriber, which emails they were sent and their interactions with those emails. Looking up that information is helpful in troubleshooting when an issue is mentioned with someone not receiving an email.

  ### 13. Great platform, but way too expensive.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fatama R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Being able to target different segments of audiences, being able to automate multiple triggers such as abandoned product, search, cart, next best purchase, etc. It's great to be able to showcase different dynamic blocks of products as well.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

There are way too many glitches, and the price kills it for us smaller to medium-level companies. I like the idea of being priced on per click, but there needs to be a way to segment out emails that go out for impression and clicks, and not clicks for conversions.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to target multiple audiences that are looking for different product focuses. We're able to track everything correctly from conversion rate and revenue, and more.

  ### 14. Easy to use interface, client hander excellent, support services great

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsty F. | Photographer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Email Visual Editor for building emails is really easy to use and has so much functionality, you can send fully personalised emails without needing to code them yourself. Having templates and widgets configurable is so useful for running seasonal campaigns which will include a mix of the same content. Love how easy it is to configure audiences and customer journeys.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The wording while setting up conditions for emails, site campaigns, and audiences, can be quite counter-intuative and require more discussion around what behavious it is targeting.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Specific targeting of customers exhibiting certain behaviours allows us to increase our revenue by displaying only relevant content to our customers, and helps keep our subscribers engaged.

  ### 15. User friendly platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly N. | Sr. Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The interface is easy to use and understand, and I appreciate that my BC manager is always available if I have any questions or run into any issues. Shout out to Rachel!

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I'm still finding huge halts within our emails and I don't completely understand the way the data is pulled from our site but Mark is always trying to explain it as best as he can.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us make targeted emails for our customers in a streamlined way. I enjoy that assets and dynamic products are organized and easy to find. I also find it easy to read customer data.

  ### 16. Best ESP Ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam F. | Email & SMS Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore is one of the best ESP's I have ever used. The tool is great to use. Simple & efficient. But the AI is really what makes it standout over others. Being able to bring in predictive elements into audiences and campaigns is next level. I love using this tool each and every day!

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

What I dislike about Bluecore's tool is also what I like about it and speaks to the team behind the scenese. Anytime we find a way to use the tool that wasn't intended or break the tool, we work with the team to create what we need. We have had a lot of enhancements over the years because we are power users that I don't think anyone foresaw but we worked through those issues and came out better on the other side and helped the tool grow. I couldn't do what I do today without the help of our Bluecore team!

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore is helping us solve lifecycle stage issues with our consumers. They help us target engaged consumers and retarget unengaged consumers. We've expanded our trigger database past what anyone was probably expecting us to do and I'm not done yet! Bluecore is benefiting us by providing a tool and a team to work with that keeps up with any idea or problem we find in ecommerce!

  ### 17. So many opportunities!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

I have enjoyed learning more and using Bluecore to dive into our customer preferences regarding email creative and copy. We have been able to increase dynamic content, which has been very helpful!

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The backend system is a bit more outdated than other platforms, and I would love to see a more user-friendly refresh that provides industry recommendations regarding commonly triggered campaigns.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore has helped us add personalization to emails, increasing CTR and revenue. We have been able to learn more about our customers and their preferences to use for future campaigns.

  ### 18. Bluecore is a great revenue driver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore is very helpful in enhancing relevancy and personalization at scale. It has allowed us to grow our business in automated campaigns and increase revenue.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The biggest downside of Bluecore is the reporting that is provided. The reporting is not very actionable as there is not year over year comps or any comparisons for that matter.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore is helping to solve personalization and relevancy at scale. We are able to send much more volume that is targeted towards individuals who have engaged with the site.

  ### 19. Unified Retail Technology

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marissa C. | VP, Digital Experience & CRM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Quite literally a single source for Site Personalization, ESP, Data Platform feedback loop, customer Insights and AI retail tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

As with any 3rd party vendor, some customization is critical for maximum client impact. However, we were up and running our first five personalized and dynamic email campaigns in less than two months.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One-to-one personalization utilizing audience models and segmentation. They help bridge the gaps between who to target and what content to surface at the right time.

  ### 20. Five Star Email Service Provider

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore has helped our email marketing campaigns in a huge way. Templates are easy to build and easy to schedule. The reporting is accurate and easy to read and see the results of each campaign. Customer service reps are great and very helpful in implementing new revenue drivers.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I would love to see more pre-made email templates.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore is helping us reach more customers and potential buyers through email and SMS marketing as well as on-site marketing.

  ### 21. Excellent Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brianna P. | Senior Ecommerce Marketing Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

We use them for triggered email campaigns and batch. They make personalization easy. Their email builder tool is incredible and makes it easy to build 1-1 personalized emails. They even have pre-built email templates you can use and modify if you don't want to build one from scratch. In addition to basic email segment, their audience builder allows you to create targeted audiences using their AI tools to target based on purchase behaviors. Lastly, they have the best account support I've had with any ESP.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Limited reporting on product-level data within the emails like how many times a specific item was shown in an email, etc. The platform also uses a WYSIWG email builder so there are limitations if you have specific needs - however, the team has always been willing to help us find a workaround in those circumstances.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to send triggered emails in real-time without having to set up any feeds. And more recently their team helped us bring personalization into our batch campaigns.

  ### 22. Creating emails with Bluecore is mostly intuitive, and their support teams are awesome.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole M. | Sr. Program Manager, Direct Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The support and customer service teams are wonderful. I've been working with them for about a year now, and have zero complaints. They respond in a timely fashion, and make our team feel like a valued customer.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

In areas of the platform where there are complex choices to be made, there's an opportunity for more explanation within the product. For instance, when adjusting audience parameters, it'd be helpful to have more explanatory bubbles guiding you toward different changes.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us narrowly target users on our website

  ### 23. Marketing leading Email Tech

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Wide use of trigger campaign options which we can fully customise to meet our brand needs

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

not being able to send SMS in the UK yet

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we can segment our database very efficietly to send the right email to the right customer at the right time

  ### 24. I have been involved in blucore implementation from a security perspective

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aric L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The team had good security controls in place for the sensitive data it was capturing.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I wish they used encrypted values when used inline for capturing form data.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is being used to capture leads that signup on our website and create accounts.

  ### 25. Great Email Service Provider. Increase Sales by over 200%!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Automation, ease of use, account management and support. Integration works well with hard to integrate platforms.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

There is nothing I dislike about Bluecore!

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore quickly and easily integrated into our site, while other platforms would have been challenging. T

  ### 26. Digital Marketing Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chanie N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The UI is very easy to navigate and user-friendly! Our Bluecore manager is always willing to help in anyway possible and constantly looking for opportunities for us.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I think at times is can take awhile to accomplish tasks.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are by no means experts in the UI so they have built out campaigns for us and have been very helpful in keeping us in the know about the industry.

  ### 27. Best email marketing tool I've used to date.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel E. | Digital & Email Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

There are a lot of things I like about Bluecore. I'd say that one of my favorite things would be the ease of creating audiences. Bluecore makes it so easy to use your lists and segment data when needed. I also really enjoy the VTE tool. It makes designs easy to implement AND isn't so limiting like other email programs I've used in the past.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I haven't encountered anything I dislike other than sometimes templates glitch and proofs are unavailable for viewing.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore fills in the gaps that weren't being filled by email before. It makes it easy to target the right people with its seamless knowledge of customers and the product catalog integration.

  ### 28. Bluecore is a Great and Simple tool to use!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney S. | Associate Director of Email Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Easy to navigate and add personalization to emails compared to other platforms.
We have a very difficult e-commerce platform that does not integrate well with any ESP so we could not do any type of workflows or personalization.
Thanks to Bluecore we have been able to launch different triggers and workflows and add incremental email revenue!

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

My biggest complaint is that you cant segment based on different behaviors or variables like opens, clicks, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

Bluecore gets a gold star as far as I am concerned their support is top-notch and setup/migration was seamless and I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their platform!

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I know adjusting the segmentation as explained above is in the pipeline to be fixed and that would be ideal.

  ### 29. Bluecore Email Service Provider

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason B. | Senior Director of Ecommerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore's support structure has been amazing. They respond quickly and bring on the right people to address any concerns.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

It takes a surprising number of steps to see what the current opted-in database size is, which feels like it should be available on dashboard.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

We went from having a very poor support team at a previous ESP to a stellar support team when moving to Bluecore, so this was one of the primary deciding factors. In addition, Bluecore has proven to be very innovative, and excellent at communicating these innovations to their customers.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore has allowed us to improve on the number of automated campaigns that are sent to users based on their interaction and purchase history. They also have a far quicker email campaign setup process that previous ESPs we have worked with.

  ### 30. Easy integration and now waiting to see results since it is too early to tell.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The team seems to be well organized and easy to work with. They are quick and will resolve any issues immediately

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Nothing I dislike at the moment. They seem to be good.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple solution and streamline processes when onboarding. Mainly when providing specs, we suggested to curate it to us as we only are using some specs and not all so it was a bit confusing.

  ### 31. Great software - even better team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peyton I. | Creative Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore is very user-friendly and is one of the more accessible platforms to navigate. Anyone looking to reach more targeted groups of customers with customized messages for that group should absolutely use Bluecore.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The initial integration process can be somewhat grueling for companies with a more extensive product catalog and/or multiple subscription lines. That said, the team is hungry to provide a better, more comprehensive product to their wide range of clientele and the dev team is quick to build new features when warranted.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to identify specific behaviors and customize our retargeting strategy based on where the user is in the customer journey. Tailoring our message to the individuals level of awareness has allowed us to convert engagers into buyers at a higher rate.

  ### 32. The best solution for retail companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele B. | Sr. CRM Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

- Ease of use - no need for technical specialists
- Real-time product catalog to be used with many product recipe rules
- Strong product recommendations (Bluecore model) - this is not the case with many other vendors (e.g. Einstein from SF)
- Predictive & AI model available - no need for Data Scientists
- On-site personalization: Email capture / Retargeting 1:1 / Product recommendations

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

- App push notification channel is missing

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest problems easily solved with Bluecore: Increase of the email database (done via site personalization/retargeting), Personalization (done via strong product recomendations and out-of-the-box use cases)
Benefits: platform has been designed for retail companies, common challenges are well addressed and tackled

  ### 33. More than an ESP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The foundation of the Bluecore platform is data-driven. The AI allows us to tailor our emails to specific audiences and personalize content based on user behavior. You can easily segment discount affinity buyers, at risk buyers, high predicted LTV users, etc. The product recommendations content in our emails since switching to Bluecore has performed very strongly, since it is personalized to the reader's habits.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

There are frequently loading screens especially when navigating between sections. I hope that the times are decreased in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

I researched several providers before deciding to choose Bluecore. It was the best choice for us as it allows us to deeply segment audiences, tailor content, and set automations beyond what other vendors offer. It can greatly save the amount of time your team spends on emails while giving you a higher return, as it is personalizing and tailoring content. In hindsight it was the best decision. If you have the budget I would choose Bluecore.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Bluecore as our ESP and for on-site triggers. The automations and dynamic content has greatly reduced the amount of effort needed to create these emails.

  ### 34. Great tech and team

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Luxury Goods & Jewelry | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Helpful team, true 1:1 personalizations.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The setup is relatively complicated and the platform is new so some tweaking still needs to be done in terms of flexibility and ease of segmentaiton. You can usually reach the desired result but sometimes it requires some workarounds.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore can solve the issue of more black-box ESPS that use a one-size-fits all approach. I think after the team is more used to the functionality we will be able to better use the tool.

  ### 35. Satisfied Customer!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan D. | Director, eCommerce, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The Bluecore team has continued to exceed expectations and promises from the onboarding, transition, and account management standpoint. They have effectively and efficiently managed a lot of details to ensure a successful onboarding and launch.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I have no complaints to date with elements that have been different than expectations or have not had satisfying results.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are greatly expanding our email marketing program with expanded trigger campaigns and a better view of analytics and deliverability. Within 60 days of starting our relationship we were already sending key revenue-driving trigger campaigns.

  ### 36. Kudos to you for all your help 2021

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The good thing was that the reply was always fast and clear when I sent an email to the Bluecore support team. I was happy that the Bluecore team considered the next step for Crocs.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

There were some issues like that the price information of the email and the actual product's were different, that the number of specific email deliveries decreased dramatically.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Bluecore team's best efforts to solve the above issues, we responded quickly. We are looking forward to the results we will make together in 2022 as well. Thank you team!

  ### 37. Great solution for email marketing with personalization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danae M. | Email Marketing Coordinator

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Ease of use and personalization. Drag and drop editors with mobile views speed up the process to launch tremendously.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Would like to see a more intuitive "academy" structure for learning the program with videos and quizzes that aren't publicly displayed. Smart guides for drag and drop editors would be nice to have.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personalized email sending with product recommendations.

  ### 38. A new way of thinking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorothy E. | Social Media Marketing Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

I love the encouragement of customer personalization that Bluecore offers, not only based on a customer's activity on our website but also how they interact with us on social media.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

There's a lot to review when doing something new, and often, it can take a lot to read and then process before getting a clear answer. I wish there were more straightforward solutions, but that said, once I understand the process, I feel more confident.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore has helped us find and implement customer preferences. This, in turn, means we're providing the correct information to our customers without overwhelming them with too much contact.

  ### 39. New to Bluecore - but really pleased with it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Great knowledge base that answers all your questions and gives examples of campaigns to run. Like the onsite campaign tools that you can run. Much more functionality than Bronto Software.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

As I am new to the platform I experienced a few issues when putting together campaigns. But I was able to reach out to my customer success manager and support team and they helped solve my issues.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Much more robust tools to help build audiences so they we can run more targeted campaigns. Also like that the contracts is based clicks not email volume. We are seeing more conversions from our campaigns.

  ### 40. Director Of Marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Ability to slice and dice data almost real-time.
Real customer services and quick response times. Too many companies are moving to automated customer service / support and it's so frustrating. Hoping Bluecore does not that.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Cost structure for already very engaged programs was a tough pill for the business to swallow.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

If you are an Omni-channel retailer be sure to send offline purchase data to BC so they have a unified view of the customer. Also, use them as a ESP as well (not an add-on to an existing ESP) now that they've moved in that direction. Otherwise some of their insights don't work e.g. predictive unsubscribes as they can't see unsubs from another vendor.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Actioning data insights almost instantly. Not taking month's to build creative based on insights.

  ### 41. Blucore tools and support second to none

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug E. | Web Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

By far the best part of using Bluecore is the product and account support we receive. Our dedicated success manager has been vital to keeping our positive growth going and we wouldn't be able to do this without them. The level of support we receive is better than any other 3rd party vendor we use. The amount and depth of features Bluecore has is important for us to be able to reach our customers with the right products and right messages.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The learning curve for using the system is somewhat steep, however that is expected with the amount of features and details you can go into. Having the success manager helps out with guiding us through using the system.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Bluecore for email marketing and on-site personalization with product recommendations and marketing banners. Using the predictive analytics model to help guide automated messages helps lower the workload for our small team.

  ### 42. Bluecore makes email marketing easy and digestible

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The platform is very easy to use and the Bluecore team is very responsive, helpful, and dedicated to their clients.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

There are some small nuances between Bluecore and our previous ESP that I wish Bluecore had, such as a more direct view of changes in your database size.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluecore makes it much easier to build emails than our previous ESP and gives us a ton of new capabilities to drive sales and database growth on our website.

  ### 43. Leading ESP Offering On The Market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The platform allows users to be as involved with their marketing program as they want to be as the interface is user-friendly and all data is easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

Given the length of the partnership so far, there have not been features or aspects that can be classified as dislikes.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

It is understanding that the Bluecore offering is unique in the email space and the platform and success model set you up for continued growth.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customizing the initial integration will allow us to better utilize our product and customer data for enhanced targeting and personalization.

  ### 44. Solid platform with much potential for growth and added features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Ai is a compelling and convenient component of BC. Ease of use. Audience building. Reporting.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The platform is lacking many features with testing. Example: need split testing 80/20. Journey builder needs to be revamped and could be much more robust compared with competitors. VTE is sometimes unreliable, resulting in odd layouts across some platforms.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

If you use Shopify, ask a lot of questions regarding integrations. Be sure to think through your use-cases thoroughly. Ask tough questions and demand answers that your developers can confirm.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We seem to have improved our click rates. Revenue since BC is way up. Our customers seem very receptive to recommendations. I like the concept of global assets. Not too thrilled with Shopify integration.

  ### 45. Great ESP with excellent customer algorithms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore's tech is fantastic. Their ability to pilot new tech and continue to support their old tech is excellent. We have several dozen trigger emails currently running on Bluecore. Some of our campaigns are (but not limited to): abandoned cart, abandoned browse, abandoned search, merchandising triggers, price drop, best sellers, post-purchase journey series, etc. Each one of our triggered emails that we have set up all perform very well. I appreciate the strategy that Bluecore helps provide with their benchmark standards and best practices. The Bluecore team knows their stuff and it shows. Brilliant software, brilliant employees, and they are hungry to provide best-in-class service to their clients. I also appreciate their pricing model as it is pay per click, not pay per send.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The UX is pretty intuitive to me - but my employees seem to have a hard time with the UX.

I also wish we had a little more support from the Bluecore team. We are a large company with multiple brands and run a very lean team. We don't have enough resources on our end to fully dive deep into the Bluecore platform -- sometimes we just need a quick point in the right direction to be on our way.

Sometimes the software is glitchy, which can be frustrating, but their support team is quick to respond and assist.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know where our company's email program would be without Bluecore -- in fact, our entire digital marketing team. We use several services of theirs, and it is helping us get cleaner with our data, more in-sync with our data to get the right product in front of the right customer at the right time.

  ### 46. Bluecore helped us rapidly scale up our marketing automation capabilities.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon F. | Manager, Email & Database Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore is built with Ecommerce in mind and makes turning on the right marketing automation experiences easy. It comes with default settings that align with performance standards, and allows its users to implement advanced personalization techniques quickly with no coding required.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

The platform is under heavy development and occasionally bugs are introduced. Loading speeds often seem quite slow. Unusual use cases often require custom development fees if that functionality wasn't planned as an 'out of the box' capability.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At a high level, Bluecore allows us far better visitor identification and behavior tracking capabilities, which opens up a vast array of new marketing automation messages that we can send to our consumers. The Bluecore platform allows us to create these audiences very quickly, and allows us to set specific product recommendation logic to support every message. These capabilities have allowed us to generate far more Ecommerce sales from automated marketing than we were able to prior to working with Bluecore.

  ### 47. Awesome technology + people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** carolyn g. | Director Digital Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The platform is really easy to integrate and use. The support team is awesome when you run into an issue, they're friendly and quick which isn't always something you see with a e-com SaaS support team.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

A lot of team members so it can get fragmented but always a helpful and eager team

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

It's a powerful tool that has a ton of features, but it's not overwhelming where you feel like you have to be in it 24/7 to get the use out of it. The implementation team is great as well and help you fill in any holes in your campaigns. The account team has always been very easy to work with and really feels like our success is their success. I would definitely recommend Bluecore to anyone.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very easy to set up all behavioral, merchandising and transactional emails. A lot of passive revenue that we can set up once and refresh as needed that captures a lot of potentially lost revenue.

Powerful audience segmentation for exporting and using in other marketing efforts like paid social and google.

  ### 48. Great consumer facing Email tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick C. | S, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

Bluecore allow you to streamline your campaigns and makes it very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

At times the portal can be slow when loading in audiences.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

Take each step one a t a time and dont get ahead of yourself when creating campaigns

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the ever-changing deals and messaging we deal with by being able to update placements in real-time and not having to go thru different teams of the business

  ### 49. Improving Along Side Our Business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

As a mid-size company, I am impressed that we can get the attention from Bluecore that say a "large" company would receive. Our efforts here are becoming more sophisticated and more automated, and they are willing to support us in our efforts as we grow.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

My initial contact with Bluecore and their pricing model made it such that we had some issues during the 2020 Pandemic year. These, however, were able to be resolved when we renewed our program. I was a little concerned at first with this model, but as we move forward it is becoming more comfortable.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

Understand the pricing model and how it can be an advantage and a motivator to better segment and target.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We traditionally did not do a good job with audience building and segmentation with our ESP. Since Bluecore now handles all our efforts here the improvement is visible in our campaigns and results.

  ### 50. Strong Platform thats more than just an ESP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Luxury Goods & Jewelry | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Bluecore?**

The data visualization is amazing - you are able to dig in to a singular user and see all of their activity including what emails they viewed, opened, did not open and what products they looked at. You can also see their CLV down to the day.

**What do you dislike about Bluecore?**

I wish the categorization of creative and art assets was better. They are working on this now, I believe. I also wish you could "pause" your email build to go complete another task (like adding creative) and be able to go right back to it.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluecore:**

They are great to partner with for special needs and deployments. We love how much they listen and how fantastic the product is. Ask hard questions - you will appreciate there is no large "bureaucracy" to get a question answered and they won't leave you for dead.

**What problems is Bluecore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using other ESP's you are only able to do limited segmentation and with a ton of work pulling SQL queries and also using some guesswork. But bluecore makes that really easy in that they let you build audiences with some simple business rules and continue to refine and refine those audiences in real time. We love this feature and use it every day.
