**What do you like best about Ometria?**

I use Ometria for email marketing, automations, and reporting. I appreciate its great analytics and predictive insights. I like that it holds all the customer data, especially historic, from different platforms. We switched from Magento to Shopify, and Ometria has been invaluable in providing insight into historic data, becoming our source of truth when we couldn't access Magento anymore.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Historic reporting is slightly skewed, as it doesn't report on gross numbers but solely on net. If I look back at email revenue, it gives me the number after returns, which makes it difficult to compare like-for-like. I also think the email builder is not as user-friendly as it could be. The initial setup was quite difficult.

**What problems is Ometria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ometria provides great analytics and predictive insights, holding customer data from different platforms like Magento and Shopify. It gives insight into historic data, serving as a source of truth when access to past platforms is unavailable.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

We've been using Ometria for a while, and overall, it's a powerful customer data and marketing automation platform.

The strongest point is definitely the customer segmentation capabilities. Being able to slice and dice customer data based on purchase history, browsing behaviour, and engagement metrics has helped us create much more targeted campaigns.

The predictive analytics and automation workflows are also solid, helping us tailor communications effectively.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

That said, there are a few drawbacks. 

The learning curve is steeper than previous platforms I've used, Ometria is powerful but complex

The UI and reporting are functional but can feel clunky and not as flexible as I'd like. Creating custom reports feels like it takes more clicks than necessary, and exporting data isn't totally smooth and seamless.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

This tool offers a very comprehensive solution for both CDP +CRM. It is user-friendly, includes all valauable metrics such as CLV, revenue per customer, contact conversion rate, or customer repeat rate. You can easily leverage all of that data and build out an immerse e-mail/SMS strategy! We use the tool every single day, and are really satisfied with the results.

I also really like their support team and working closely with a CSM - Lida has always been extremely insightful, providing us with great recommendations and tweaks to our strategy. I've opened many tickets in the past which have been resolved in a timely manner.

Lastly, I really love their quarterly roadmap updates and their appreciation to feedback from the client side.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

I wish their SMS abilities were stronger; It would be great to combine both channels in one platform.

In terms of data insights, I wish they offered a more comprehensive data analysis tool within the platform itself.

There’s very little to dislike! Like any robust platform, there is an initial learning curve, especially when exploring the more advanced features. However, Ometria’s onboarding, documentation, and hands-on support make the transition smooth. Any time we have a request or need assistance, their team is always willing to help.

Ometria is very easy to learn and use. If there is a function you are not quite sure of how to use or implement the team is quick to jump to task to figure out how to troubleshoot or simply show how to execute a new function.

There are many features to capitalize on, that can be effectively be tailored to your business or reporting needs.

Nothing so far. Yet to run into an issue.

Offering a user friendly and efficent way to build both broadcast and autmated email flows, allow for customer data to flow in the backend that can be easily be segmented and post campaign data/ analytics tracking. The support offered is also fantastic and well organized.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

When I first discovered Ometria 3 years ago, I was immediately impressed by its integrated CDP. It offers a comprehensive customer snapshot, including metrics like customer value, frequency, and email engagement... to name a few. The platform’s user friendly interface makes it a pleasure to use daily for building email campaigns, automations, and segments.

I’ve also interacted with the customer service team on a different occasions and have always been satisfied by their responsiveness and the quality of their support. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with the creative team to rebuild our templates, and they were fantastic in accommodating our requests.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

It would be great to have the option to duplicate a template between broadcast and automation campaigns to save time and avoid rebuilding templates from scratch.

In terms of data insights, I’d love to see more detailed information on the days and times people are opening or clicking emails. This would provide valuable learnings about customer engagement behaviour.

That said, I appreciate that the issues I’ve raised in the past have been considered as part of a survey. It’s encouraging to see that client feedback is being heard and acted upon.

Platform is easy to use, with automation flows that are simple to build, supported by blueprint options as helpful starting points. It also offers a great array of reporting features.

Ometria is a fantastic platform that is user-friendly for all team members, regardless of experience level. The email builder is intuitive, and the data reporting is the best I’ve seen from an ESP. Ometria is continuously evolving, adding new features, and actively seeking user feedback during the process. Their support and development teams are excellent, and the customer success managers are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and great to work with.

The only limitation I’ve encountered with Ometria is the cap on the number of dynamic segments. While the allowance is generous and encourages us to keep the platform organized and up to date, it can occasionally slow us down when we need to remove segments to create new ones.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

Ometria has been very easy to use, it has lots of custom features and has great customer support. 
I've dealt with a team members who have gone above and beyond to ensure we're getting the most out of Ometria and to ensure we are happy. Emails are easy to design and build, and data can be easily customised. Automated campaign journeys are simple to create, and the team is always on hand to help with any questions that arise along the way. Ometria offers a good amount of integration options with other platforms such as Meta, which is really beneficial for lead-generation campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

As there are so many options for reporting, the different jargon and different types of reports can get a bit daunting for some team members. Would be good to include some sort of glossary and also tips on analysing the data. Would help junior members especially.

Ometria has tied together a few platforms we were using where we can now access the information in one place, predominantly tying together our CRM/data system and email campaign platforms.

Occasionally, when needing help from multiple teams such as the support team or the engineering team, correspondance can take a while and sometimes with how in-depth the platform is, issues can get lost in translation.

We use Ometria for a wide range of purposes and it acts as an all encompassing, one-stop-shop for us. It is easy to use and takes out a lot of leg-work that you might find if you had to use multiple platforms for automation, analytics, customer data etc.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

Ometria has been vital to our CRM strategy. Not only is their day-to-day support from the technical team and the account managers indispensable, but they are also central to our annual KPI setting and plans. Their dedicated team conduct regular business reviews with actionable suggestions to optimise revenue and boost engagement throughout the customer lifecycle. The avenues for data collection and analysis seem endless, and the platform itself, particularly from an email marketing perspective, is incredibly user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Whilst it’s easy to extrapolate data from Ometria, they should work on data visualisation tools. I’d love to be able to look at revenue by e.g. age range, but this is a very manual process, checking revenue against each age range one by one. This can make reporting time consuming, particularly when looking into more complex customer data. It can therefore take longer to spot certain insights.

Ometria consistently helps with reporting and insights, segmentation, personalisation, email marketing, automation, customer retention and loyalty. After using their Retail Success Model, our 12-month customer repeat-rate increased by 18%.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

The Ometria platform allows the user to gain insights on customer data through segmentation and reporting functionalities. The segment explorer is something we use regularly as it is particularly key in identifying specific customer patterns and behaviours such as AOV, lifetime value and overall engagement. This allows optimisation of customer journeys further to create a personalised and targeted experience for the customer.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Sometimes when new features have launched, we have experienced some hurdles in using these to their full potential at first due to the inability to test in a safe environment, or technical issues preventing immediate use. The Ometria support team are very helpful, but if escalated to the engineering team, some things can take longer to be resolved.

Ometria allows us to gain insights on our customer database, in order to personalise and optimise our email marketing campaigns further.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

Ometria was the turning point in our digital marketing strategy. After a pain free implementation process we were able to self serve all of our data segmentation, creative and reporting needs. Ometria not only unlocked invaluable insight to the CRM team, but also Loyalty & Commercial. It soon became the beating heart for our customer strategy. What I loved most about the system was new projects were dealt with as part of our agreement, limiting extra cost with Customer Success Managers who would support with the end to end task.

I honestly can't give a downside! Additional requests coming into our team as a result of the insight we now had would be the only downside!

**What problems is Ometria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our initial objective after onboarding was to improve our levels of marketing automation. Our previous provider only had the capability for us to run a welcome journey but ometria unlocked a variety of triggered journeys. Ultimately, more automation meant more revenue for CRM!

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

Realtime analytics, gives me a real time view of gross web revenue combined from our 7 shopify stores which is harder to get elsewhere since the switch to GA4.

The ability to view the lifetime value of customers gained through specific campaigns & the immidiate value of said customers. Due to the ease of creating and overlaying of segments vs the out of box reports we can view these in short order without needing to export data from platform.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Set up of the custom events to support specific functions like back in stock email and preference centre updates were not out of the box in core integration.
However we were well supported by the ometria team along with our SI to bring us through this process and have it working well now.

Ometria is our central point for customer segmentation and also the engine which drives both our broadcast email coms and email automation.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

Ometria is a user-friendly tool, regardless of previous experience with CRM platforms. The team takes great care in understanding your company goals, providing you with a data audit and a bespoke marketing action plan to meet them. The ability to segment and filter your audience is very good, templates and automation journeys are easy to build; data insights are in-depth and easy to access.

The platform also includes 'Realtime' where you can see a live view of active visitors, traffic source, orders, popular products being browsed and bought and revenue generated. This access to immediate data empowers our marketing teams to make data-driven decisions.

It's also worth noting that the support team is very prompt in getting back to requests, and there is regular communication from your CSM.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Some features are missing basic elements, for example you're unable to delete or archive unused coupon pools and the website overlay has limited customisable options and no spam filter. In terms of targeting, the automation segmentation isn't the same as the main filter which can cause additional work. Although support is prompt if the issue needs to go to dev to investigate it can take weeks for a solution to be found due to them working in sprints.

As a company we saw exponential growth in 2020 and 2021. This year we are focusing on retention and understanding our audience. Ometria is crucial in helping us understand the customer experience. **What do you like best about Ometria?**

This was a great choice of ESP for us to handle our emails (including both broadcast and personalised automation), but also has been great more broadly for lifecycle marketing as we use it to push customer data through to social platforms. It also provides incidental additional benefits in terms of analytics and so on which we have found much more helpful than previous tools we've used.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Generally the tool meets all the requirements we need it for; but they could think about adding a few extra features and integrations maybe e.g. a Segment integration, although I understand there is plenty in the pipeline for 2021.

This is well worth the consideration if you have a lot of ecommerce customers and need to personalise emails at scale, as well as needing more control over segmentation of broadcast emails.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

Ometria was a huge step up from our previous platform - not only is it incredibly easy to use, it is also intuitive  and constantly evolving using client feedback. Both our CSM and the Ometria Support team have been an invaluable resource, and the onboarding process was smooth and very well planned.

The ease of building broadcast and automation programmes is excellent. We've improved on our existing lifecycle programmes and we've been able to set up some more complex targeted triggers to different types of customers with the use of their segment builder.

With the use of the segment builder we're able to create complicated segments for analysis; helping us to provide insights to the wider marketing team.

12-months after onboarding, on our email marketing channel has never performed better and thanks to Ometria, we're consistently finding new ways to make improvements.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Very little. Although the segment explorer has excellent scope there is sometimes slightly more complex criteria I'd like to segment on. For example, one improvement I'd love to see is being able to filter by attributes of invalid orders (in our case for free samples). 

As there is a clear process for feeding back challenges in to the product team, Ometria have proven to be open to hearing constructive criticism and building in solutions into their roadmap.

**Recommendations to others considering Ometria:**

Consider not only what they can do to help your business now, but how they will be able to help in 5 years time. Support regardless of how recent you started using an ESP is crucial. And take a realistic view of how much resource you have to dedicate to your email channel - this platform is excellent but the more resource you can dedicate, the more success you'll see.

**What problems is Ometria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past our email marketing has been a 'one-size-fits-all' approach and reliant on broadcasting the same message to everyone. Thanks to Ometria we have been able to enhance personalisation and through the use of their automation flow builder we've been able to tailor a customers journey so they receive relevant personalised emails at key points in their journey. 

Ometria has helped us understand our customers behaviour, improve segmentation, and build out a really exciting roadmap to help us improve LTV and brand affinity.

Ometria has a seamless integration with the Magento ecommerce platform and straight forward to implement and configure. The Ometria professional services team have assisted us with two platform migrations over the years and provide excellent support in terms of more advanced campaign configuration and email templating. We have regular and useful contact with our account manager who is always on hand with new ideas to drive growth using the platform.

We use Ometria for all of our Lifecycle Marketing. New leads are largely captured through popups and from that we send general broadcast newsletters out as well as personalised emails depending on browsing and purchase history. They also help solve the problem of basket abandonment and provide fully automated campaigns for basket recovery. We make good use of their Realtime Dashboard and reporting as a key analytics tool in the business allowing us to react quickly on marketing decisions.

With Ometria we are able to send targeted, automated emails to customers based on a plethora of factors and we now understand our customers better than we ever have done before thanks to insights in Ometria. The user interface is simple and easy to understand, but allows for in-depth analysis and customisation. We have regular meetings with our Customer Success Manager who advises us on how best to utilise the platform.

We now have so many campaigns set up, and often these are fairly complex, so it can on occasion be a little overwhelming when wanting to make changes to these campaigns.

Ometria is a powerful platform offering a wealth of customer insight and communication capabilities while remaining user friendly. Its reliability has been a big positive for our business. We have never experienced any maintenance or deliverability issues, and Ometria's account managers and customer service advisors are very knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. It's great to work with such a reliable tool and people.

There isn't much to dislike, but as with any product, there can be improvements. One of our early challenges was not having API access, but Ometria communicated with us that it was part of the roadmap, and they delivered. There could be more improvements on the reporting side as information is sometimes hard to find or not available. It would also be great to see more customisation options around automation to further streamline our communications.

We've been an Ometria customer for many years. In that time, Ometria has helped us understand our customers, improve our email segmentation, grow our brand awareness and improve our ROI. Ometria provides the tools to see a full 360 journey of your customer. Statistics like this would only be possible with additional members of staff to analyse the data, but the Ometria platform enables us to see it all in one place.

The functionality of the platform itself enables us to personalise our content for customers with very little effort but with maximum results.

The efficiency of the platform means we are constantly striving to do more. This is not a negative of Ometria, but more a challenge we experience internally as we want to continue to grow. Not much to add here. Maybe the email templates could so with some more design features but there's already plenty there that we can use to build beautiful emails easily and quickly.

The customer insights and the ability to create dynamic and static segments have proven to be invaluable. We've also built a lot of automated email flows with a lot of different journeys based on behaviour that has helped us grow. The term 'easy to use' is obviously quite subjective - particularly when describing a massive, complex, constantly evolving CRM platform. When I started using Ometria a little over 12-months ago, I was brand new to CRM. I was handed the reigns of a successful marketing channel at the start of a global pandemic, and faced with a rushed handover period. It was a total baptism of fire. 

The biggest compliment I can pay to Ometria is that while assistance was always available, I barely had to ask a single question.

12-months on our email marketing channel has never been healthier and thanks to Ometria, we're consistently finding new ways to make marginal gains. I can't recommend them enough.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Ometria's annual LifeCycle event is fantastic, but it would be nice to have more opportunities to benchmark against other businesses. Support could be slightly quicker at solving issues.

Ometria is a super intuitive platform with a bunch of great features. It provides a number of key reporting metrics and collects a tonne of beneficial customer data that will allow you to build custom segments, identify valuable behaviors, and ultimately, make smarter business decisions. **What do you like best about Ometria?**

I've used the Ometria Platform for 5 years, across 4 different businesses - my favourite thing about Ometria is how they have flexed, adapted and innovated to both the individual needs of a client and the eCommerce landscape over those 5 years. They are constantly innovating and iterating to make their product a better experience for you as a user, but also for your customers and the output of your marketing team efforts.

It is very easy to use and integrate, the customer intelligence and instant customer segmentation allows teams to make an impact quickly once it's on boarded. And the clear USP for me, is the guidance you get from the customer success team who help all stakeholders interpret the customer insights, create an actionable strategy that results in incremental revenue.

Unlike other providers, you receive weekly CSM strategic support to develop your CRM strategy and tactics.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Very little. The only challenge I have had is creating time seriesed historic data customer segments. There is a clear process for feeding challenges back in to the product team.

**What problems is Ometria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Incremental revenue through customer database segmentation at RFM level. Supporting retention and acquisition strategies. This feeds into FB, PPC, Referral, Instagram marketing.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

The tool is easy to use, constantly evolving using real customer feedback and beta testing programs. The support team is efficient, helpful and timely in response - and the support documentation is simple to access and very useful. The account managers are all very knowledgeable as well and eager to help and improve your programs with you.
In terms of the tool itself, the improvements to the ease of building automation programs is excellent - we've been able to re-build our full lifecycle suite in the past couple of months (with only 1 email exec working) without any issues. The segment builder for me however is the most useful bit of kit - it's very simple to create quite complicated segments now for analysis; and I use this feature for all sorts of things beyond the world of CRM.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

I wouldn't say I particularly dislike anything. The tool has evolved tremendously over the years, and any concerns I had previously have all been addressed.
As we start to move into the realms of doing more complicated programs i.e. multiple welcome programs based on your affinitys, things become a little more complicated - but nothing that the tool is unable to overcome.
The one thing that perhaps still needs some work is how we treat returned orders - these can complicate CLV, order counts and affinities, and thus affect lifecycle programs.

**What problems is Ometria solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our full lifecycle campaign is finally taking flight - for the first time in a long time I truly believe that we are able to target our customers with much more relevent comms based on their lifecycle stage. We've worked hard to improve our KPI's across email, and we're very satisfied with the results we're seeing. During the past year it's been tough on all channels, however email has remained strong - and that's testiment to the dedication of work we've put into this channel.

Generally speaking, after years of working with many ESP's, Ometria is a game-changer! The sheer ease of finding critical insights and data... then using it to drive positive results requires very little training. In addition the ease of onboarding, setup and use, out-of-the-box functionality vs peers and critically the onboarding & support given by the Ometria teams.

Honestly, not much to dislike - and we certainly haven't yet found any frustrations or limitations with Ometria. Further development of the design tools for email templates would be welcome, and a better view on upcoming product roadmap would be useful, but other than that... very happy.

**What do you like best about Ometria?**

A cross-channel marketing platform that gathers & profiles customer data to provide retailers with insights for creating campaigns. Not just another email tool. we  fall in love with the insight that this gives them us on our customers. It enables us to engage rather than just firing poorly targeted e-mails. As a CRM Ometria is easy to use and accurate. The real time view give you an instant view on what is going on your site. The main benefit of Ometria is the multiple automation feature they include. Customization CTA, Drip campaigns, Dynamic content, Sale Intelligence, Date Segmentation and social marketing. The customer service is also great. You get a dedicated customer success manager who is always available and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Ometria?**

Like many solutions in this product area, needs a certain level of commitment to make the most of the power of the platform but it'll be worth it.The other thing which I think Ometria could improve on would be personalization. There are currently very options to personalize content to individuals. Something else to consider would be the charges which are encured if you go over the agreed broadcast e-mail send levels. This has happened our e-mail send until our agreement renewed. Although this is something I have included as a dislike, Ometria could not of been more helpful in finding option in order to get around that fact we had gone over our allotted broadcast e-mails.

Trust in customer data to be able to make marketing decisions. Also finding an affordable tool that was able to manage the scale of our data effectively and accurately.

It has a good layout and is easy enough to use one you know what you’re doing. The UI is nice and easy to navigate and read.

It’s too rigid for designers to use because the CSS cannot be accessed per email campaign you are working on. You’d have to create a new master template for it. The HTML developers on their side are also slow at fixes and coming up with solutions .

It seems to be working well with the team in terms of segmenting our audiences and it is clever at hiding design elements for different segments. Real time data is also collected.
