**What do you like best about Okendo?**

Okendo’s platform is super user-friendly. The subscription widget is easy to set up and looks beautiful, and the Quizzes and Surveys are great for collecting customer feedback and driving sales. It also has a great Klaviyo integration that really helps us target customers and is super helpful for our team.

Their support team is always there to help, whether through chat or email. We rarely have any problems, but when we do, they jump in quickly to help and fix things. Our account manager is amazing, and if you need any kind of migration (we’ve done one for Quizzes) they do all the heavy lifting so you don’t have to worry. The whole team always listens to our feedback whenever we need something changed or improved 🙌

We’ve been working with Okendo for over 6 years, and it really makes our job easier. We’re really happy with the platform and the team behind it ❤️

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I don’t have any major complaints. Any time we’ve had a request or feedback regarding the product, the Okendo team has listened, and usually we can see the improvements implemented a few months later. It really feels like they take customer feedback and needs seriously.

We use Okendo Reviews, Quizzes, and Surveys. 
Reviews help us collect and show real customer feedback on our store, which is super important for building trust, Quizzes help us to drive sales and Surveys let us hear directly from customers and understand what they like, what they need, or what we can improve.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

Okendo Quizzes has been easy to use and very admin-driven, making it simple for our team to build, manage, and iterate without needing much technical support. The platform is flexible and intuitive, and the Okendo team has been hands-on in helping us customize the experience to fit our brand. Chelsea was especially helpful in guiding us through strategy, setup, and early optimization, which made the launch process much smoother.

We also use Okendo for reviews, and the process there is just as seamless and easy to manage, which helps keep everything centralized and efficient for our team.

What’s been most helpful is how straightforward it is to launch and optimize experiences quickly, while still having the ability to tailor them to our specific goals.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

There are some limitations to what can be done out of the box, in some cases making it hard to achieve customizations.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okendo helps us centralize and simplify both our quizzes and reviews in one platform, reducing the need for multiple tools. It solves the challenge of collecting customer insights and UGC in a structured, easy-to-manage way that doesn’t require heavy technical resources from our team.

For quizzes, it enables us to quickly build and iterate on guided shopping experiences that feel tailored to our brand while staying admin-friendly. For reviews, it streamlines collection and management, making it easy to consistently capture and surface customer feedback.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I appreciate using Okendo because their AI chatbot is helpful when I can't figure out what to do, and if it can't assist, I can easily get a human agent who usually responds quickly to solve my issues, keeping a live thread going between email and live chat, ensuring all my issues have been solved over the months. Okendo automates product review collection, including media and text fields, and presents reviews for approval. It allows me to moderate reviews and reply, displaying them publicly. I appreciate that it does exactly what I need without bothering me, and it just works; even set-up was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

nothing at the moment, but big price jump from the first to second paid tiers.

What stands out most to us is how reliable and intuitive the platform is. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the onboarding process felt a bit drawn out. It was stretched across several calls when it probably could have been condensed into two: one to align on brand intent and technical requirements, and a second to walk through and review the final implementation.

Adding the Performance Insights dashboard has been a huge upgrade for us. It’s very user-friendly, and it lets me combine their high-level sentiment data with our own internal metrics so I can make customer experience decisions faster.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I really wish the platform offered more native analysis around specific review themes. Right now, I have to export our review data and run it through a separate AI tool just to identify recurring topics or product-specific complaints. A built-in “theme engine” that could automatically cluster feedback into clear categories like “fit,” “durability,” or “packaging” would save me a lot of manual effort and make it much easier to spot patterns quickly.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has fully automated our review collection, which used to be a major manual burden for our marketing team. By streamlining the feedback loop, we can uncover customer insights much faster and then use that data to guide both future product development and our ongoing marketing campaigns.

It’s been a huge help in optimizing our entire marketing stack. Having our loyalty program, customer quizzes, and surveys all managed through a single dashboard has really simplified our overall strategy. The team is also incredibly quick to respond whenever we run into a technical snag, and the integration with our existing SMS and email tools works exactly as promised.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

The migration process for our loyalty members was pretty frustrating. We ended up losing a lot of historical data on existing customers. Now we can’t see the specific ways they earned points in the past, or their detailed transaction history from before the switch. It feels like we’ve lost part of the “story” behind our most loyal shoppers, which makes it harder to understand their history and engagement over time.

At Pistakio, we’re really focused on our brand identity, and Okendo gives us the level of customization we actually need. We’re able to match our brand fonts and colors across every review request email and widget. That consistency makes the entire post-purchase experience feel like it’s coming directly from us, rather than a generic third-party service, which was a huge sticking point for us.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I don’t have many complaints about the core review features. The main issue is that our referral program hasn’t really gained much traction so far. We may still be in the early stages or need to adjust our messaging, but it hasn’t delivered the quick results I was hoping for when we first set it up.

Our biggest issue was that our previous reviews felt disconnected from our store’s aesthetic. The biggest advantage for us has been how straightforward the integration is with our existing tech stack, especially Shopify and Klaviyo. The backend interface feels intuitive, so managing day-to-day tasks is efficient and doesn’t take extra effort. I also want to give credit to our onboarding specialist—they were extremely hands-on and helped get everything configured correctly from the start, which saved us a massive amount of technical headache during the initial setup.

My biggest frustration is the limited customization available for the widgets. It’s often hard to make precise adjustments to button copy or the wording of questions, which ends up feeling restrictive when we’re trying to fine-tune our exact brand voice.

The most helpful part of Okendo is our customer success manager, she is super helpful if the team has any questions and she has lots of knowledge regarding our metrics/statistics for Assembly Label. I like the product grouping feature of okendo, where we are able to display reviews and have control of the reviews that display on products.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

The only negative experience I had with Okendo was with a previous customer success manger, where we had sent her a request to group products, but then later discovered that this had not been actioned. To fix this issue, I have now been manually grouping products across all 3 of our sites.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okendo is a great way to moderate and accept/decline reviews that we want to see on products. The platform is very streamlined and easy to use

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

What I like best about Okendo is that it brings everything together in one platform. Instead of managing multiple tools, we can handle reviews, loyalty and rewards, quizzes, referrals all in one place. Having these features integrated into a single ecosystem makes it much easier to manage customer engagement and create a more seamless experience for both our team and our customers.

Beyond the platform itself, the customer support has been exceptional. The Okendo team is proactive about sharing ideas, best practices, and strategic recommendations to ensure we're getting the most value out of the platform and taking advantage of features we may not have considered otherwise. A huge shoutout to Steven and Chase for being outstanding partners and consistently helping us optimize our programs and customer experience.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

What I dislike about Okendo is that the platform can be costly, especially for growing brands that want to take advantage of multiple products and features. While the value is there, the investment can be significant and may require careful budgeting. Additionally, some features have a learning curve and can take time to fully set up and optimize. That said, the support team does an excellent job of helping brands maximize their investment and get the most out of the platform.

Okendo is helping us collect, manage, and showcase authentic customer reviews in a way that builds trust and confidence for shoppers. As an ecommerce brand, customer feedback plays an important role in helping prospective customers make purchasing decisions, and Okendo makes it easy to gather and display that social proof across our site.

The biggest benefit for our team is having a centralized platform for review collection, moderation, and analysis. **What do you like best about Okendo?**

Okendo was able to meet the company's business requirements, where we needed to allow a customer to redeem loyalty points as store credit or a form of tender. We were impressed by Okendo's flexibility in this area. Without it we wouldn't have been able to implement such a successful loyalty program.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

Okendo offered the service to create the loyalty landing page for us, which was definitely helpful for our bandwidth, however we wonder if it would have been faster if we did it instead. Perhaps we could have gone live with a quick and less interesting version, and then Okendo could have come in with a more interesting version of the landing page post launch.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okendo solved a really complicated problem where we needed points to be redeemed as tender (in our case store credit). The extra benefit is that because we've also integrated with Reviews, we'll be able to reward customers with more actions that they take on the website. We will also be able to finally implement a referral program which was not possible with the last loyalty program we were on.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

Okendo's email sequences convert well, making it easy to engage our audience effectively. It also simplifies the process for us to moderate and parse through reviews, which is a big help. The initial setup was very easy, which was a great relief. Overall, Okendo serves multiple purposes like efficient review collection, understanding product sentiment, conducting surveys, and capturing repeat revenue, which are all crucial for our marketing efforts for a DTC ecommerce brand.

Additionally, other Okendo products like review attributes and product quizzes add significant value, offering broader use cases for capturing zero party data which allows us to utilize this across other touch points in our lifecycle program.

Finally, Okendo's customer success team is second to none. Their team is always here for us no matter the inquiry. I have worked with Okendo from both the agency and brand side, and the experience has been excellent in both domains.

I think Okendo could have a better styling/design interface for email sequences/review requests.

The platform makes it very easy for our team to manage reviews day-to-day. From moderating and publishing content to organising reviews for different product categories. The ability to customise review widgets and display formats has been especially valuable, as it’s allowed us to align everything seamlessly with our new site design without needing heavy developer support.

It’s also improved our workflow significantly, tasks can be handled quickly in-platform, saving us time each week and allowing us to be more agile with updates.

An unexpected benefit has been how much flexibility there is to grow into more advanced features over time. As our needs evolve, we’ve been able to explore new ways to leverage reviews across the site, which makes it feel like a long-term solution.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

While our overall experience has been very positive, there are a few areas where Okendo could improve.

The analytics and reporting functionality can feel somewhat limited, particularly when trying to extract deeper insights or customise dashboards for more advanced analysis. 

Having more flexible filtering and more actionable data built directly into the platform would make it easier for our team to make quicker, data-driven decisions without relying on external tools.

Overall, these aren’t major blockers, but improvements in these areas would make the platform even more efficient for us.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Okendo, we struggled with efficiently collecting, managing, and leveraging customer reviews at scale. Reviews were either underutilised or required manual effort to organise, moderate, and display effectively across the site.

We’re now able to automate review collection through post-purchase flows, centralise all customer feedback in one platform, and easily surface high-quality content (including attribute-based reviews) across key touchpoints on-site. This has significantly streamlined our workflow and reduced the need for manual intervention.

As a result, we’re able to collect more reviews consistently and use them more strategically, helping to build stronger customer trust.

Onboarding was genuinely smooth - the Okendo team jumped in and bulk-configured most of the setup for us, which saved significant time. The backend is well-structured and easy to manage, and the integration into our Shopify stack was straightforward. Support has been responsive and proactive throughout.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

Nothing major - if I had to nit-pick, theme and keyword extraction from review content (beyond the sentiment categorisation) would help pull more strategic insight from the data. Widget customisation also still requires support rather than being self-serve, but the team is quick to make updates

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we were on another reviews provider that had basically stopped working. Review requests weren't sending and nothing was displaying on our PDPs, so we had no social proof live on site for months. The ease of implementation and integration were a breeze - it plugged right into our Shopify setup and plays perfectly with our other platforms like Klaviyo. The team also did a brilliant job migrating us over from another platform for loyalty.

They are always rolling out new features, and because the platform is so feature-rich, it’s actually easy to miss an update and realise we’re late to the party on a great tool. 

We’ve definitely had moments where we weren’t taking full advantage of the tech simply because we didn't know it had launched yet! However, now that we’re working with our new CSM, that’s much less of an issue - we’re finally getting the heads-up we need to stay ahead of the curve.

I appreciate how Okendo helps us gather customer reviews and display them on our e-commerce site, which has been great for building trust with potential buyers. I like that Okendo integrates with most of the tools we use like Shopify, Klaviyo, and Recharge. This makes it easy to get direct data, utilize our own email designs with Klaviyo, and helps in increasing LTV and AOV through subscription integrations with Recharge. Keeping everything within one ecosystem makes things super easy and seamless, especially knowing that the data we gather connects directly with Okendo and Klaviyo. I also found the initial setup of Okendo very easy.

It's a super robust platform, and it has a lot of things to offer. But what it does lack is information on how to set different things up. I had to book a call with an expert to get some things explained and learn about different things I didn't know, like the integration directly with Klaviyo. So that is something that could be fixed. I find Okendo very easy to use and love the visible results it provides. The analytics are fantastic and easy for our customers to use. I also like that we can upload product reviews online, which helps customers make informed decisions for their orders.  We also enjoy working with our CSM - Freyja Hansen. Freya is our favourite CSM and we look forward to our calls. Frejya is super helpful and responsive with any questions, and make appropriate suggestions on how we can improve our offering. She is a joy to work with.

I like Okendo's integration with Klaviyo because it makes the emails sent out feel native to our brand. This helps with trust from customers and increases the likelihood that they will complete the reviews. I also appreciate the automated structure Okendo has built for capturing reviews, as it allows us to utilize reviews much more easily than our old manual setup. The automated email flow in the back end of Klaviyo is also very easy to use and manage. Additionally, I felt that Okendo offers a better connection with Shopify and Klaviyo, which provides us with a more seamless experience for our customers.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

When we were setting up Klaviyo, there were a limited number of features we could customize, leading to the emails looking different from our brand. I wanted to change the star icon used in the email and on the review form but couldn't. We couldn't change the font of the reviews on site, so they look different from the rest of the text on the page. We're a minimal brand and often found we could like things to be smaller but were unable to do so. It was quite difficult as it took a lot of time from our initial onboarding to the final setup, mainly due to the limitations in areas we could fully customize. We also felt there was a long delay in our account manager answering emails and getting back to us on important questions.

They're always quick to respond and help. The ability to offer different rewards for text/photo/video reviews is great. I like the quiz but would love more options there (design and functionality). Overall a great platform, easy to use. Migration was super easy and team was very helpful in making sure all of our reviews transferred over correctly.

There's a large gap from the 200/mo order plan to the 1500/mo plan. Seems odd and you have to then buy credits if you're somewhere in the middle. Which is fine, but if you aren't paying close attention to it, you may not even know you are out of credits. A plan in between this would be great. I use Okendo for reviews and referrals. It's very easy to use and intuitive to set up. Reviews are grouped per product, making them easy to access. Customers receive a fully-branded email after their purchase, and we can set up flows to remind them to review us if they don't do it right away. The reviews look great on our product page and have everything we need, including photos. I appreciate that we can personalize all the touch points with our customers and add our branding to them, so everything we send out feels very Pistakio-ey. We're really particular about our brand identity, and Okendo allows us to add our brand colors and fonts to every touchpoint, which is extremely important for us. We switched from Klaviyo reviews to Okendo because Klaviyo didn't offer all the customization that Okendo has, which we were looking for.

I really enjoy being able to use the triggers in Klaviyo to create custom flows based on actions. I also appreciated the onboarding specialist who helped us do everything, making the initial setup very easy.

I do wish there were more ways to customize widgets on the back end. Sometimes, it's hard to really customize and make things the way you want them to because you're limited with the way something is configured. It would be nice if you could readily update small things like copy on buttons or certain questions. For instance, in the quiz widget, when you add the email question at the end, it would be nice to be able to modify the text around the question you're asking or add more copy to explain why you're asking for someone's email address.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I use Okendo for gathering reviews and adding quizzes, and I really appreciate how it reaches my customers in a professional way to gather information. I like the widget's clean look and how it's easy to navigate. Everything on my website is displayed beautifully; my customers can quickly see what the reviews are for particular sizes, styles, and lengths others have purchased. I switched from Judge.me to Okendo because it provided more options for how reviews are displayed in terms of sizing and length, and how the information is displayed overall. The initial setup was pretty easy, and their customer support team was also very helpful.

Okendo reaches my customers professionally to gather information and displays reviews beautifully. The widget is clean and easy to navigate, allowing customers to quickly see reviews for specific sizes, styles, and lengths.

We’ve had a great experience partnering with Okendo across reviews, loyalty, and refer-a-friend programs. Okendo serves as our core review collection tool and seamlessly integrates with Shopify and Klaviyo, which has made our email marketing more effective and easier to scale.

Our Customer Success Manager, Roy, is fantastic! He's highly responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in our success. We’ve also had consistently positive experiences with Okendo’s support team. They’re not only quick to help, but they are open to new ideas and are collaborative about improving the platform. Okendo feels like a true partner, not just a vendor.

Some of the features are not intuitive, but once you figure them out - they work great!

I find Okendo reliable, easy to use, and intuitive. Adding it to our site and making changes is so simple. It allows us to map out how social proof works on the site our own way, letting us add reviews in a premium way that fits our brand ethos. The initial setup was super easy, and the onboarding team managed a lot of this for us, making the process super smooth.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

The onboarding process is a little longer than it needs to be - I feel like it could have been condensed into two calls. I think for reviews it only needs to be structured to find out brand intent and then a second meeting to review revisions. At a push, we could have a follow-up to see how we're getting on.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okendo decreases our returns percentage and boosts social proof at the product page stage. It's reliable, easy to use, and lets us align reviews with our brand ethos effortlessly.

Ease of use, able to syndicate reviews across multiple regions. The moderation process is straight forward and allows for contacting customers to resolve issues prior to a negative review being made public. The Shopify integration is great and have found Freyja from the Customer Success team amazing to deal with and very knowledgeable regarding new features and suggestions for improving performance.

Nothing comes to mind, it's a well-rounded tool that meets the needs of our business.

We currently use Okendo for reviews only, allowing customers to provide direct feedback on products they have purchased and alleviate concerns potential new customer may have prior to purchase.

This is the perfect all-in-one platform for managing loyalty programs and collecting reviews. Their platform is constantly introducing new features, which really benefits my business. It helps us build a loyal customer base by encouraging reviews, and in return, we reward our customers with points they can use.

I cant think of anything specific I haven't come across something I dont like yet.

for years clients were loyal to us by purchasing from us, telling there friends, posting online but we never had an solution that we can implement easily to reward them for spending with us, sharing there favorite pieces and piercings from us. one of the other big things is the trust factor on our website, we had gone through so many reviews apps and they all sucked. there reviews with photos and even auto emails that get sent out so customers are encouraged to leave reviews in exchange for points was a game changer!

The migration and integration were incredibly easy, and we were well supported by Chelsea from start to finish. We use reviews, loyalty, and surveys, and all of the products work well together to create a well-rounded picture and profile of our customers. There’s also a good range of widgets we can use to show off reviews. The surveys help us capture information at key moments in the customer journey, such as post-checkout.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I wish there were more editing options within the review widgets, especially the reviews carousel. Right now, I feel limited by the layout options on the loyalty page. I’d also like to see more in-depth analytics across all products.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Surveys help us identify and address any missing elements or problems that customers are experiencing. In-depth reviews on product pages also help customers get over the line; features like “x% of customer recommends,” AI summaries, and Q&A support customers in making a decision about the products they’re buying. Overall, this has improved conversion and strengthened social proof.
