What do you like best about Okendo?

Okendo's email sequences convert well, making it easy to engage our audience effectively. It also simplifies the process for us to moderate and parse through reviews, which is a big help. The initial setup was very easy, which was a great relief. Overall, Okendo serves multiple purposes like efficient review collection, understanding product sentiment, conducting surveys, and capturing repeat revenue, which are all crucial for our marketing efforts for a DTC ecommerce brand.

Additionally, other Okendo products like review attributes and product quizzes add significant value, offering broader use cases for capturing zero party data which allows us to utilize this across other touch points in our lifecycle program.

What do you like best about Okendo?

The platform makes it very easy for our team to manage reviews day-to-day. From moderating and publishing content to organising reviews for different product categories. The ability to customise review widgets and display formats has been especially valuable, as it’s allowed us to align everything seamlessly with our new site design without needing heavy developer support.

It’s also improved our workflow significantly, tasks can be handled quickly in-platform, saving us time each week and allowing us to be more agile with updates.

What do you dislike about Okendo?

While our overall experience has been very positive, there are a few areas where Okendo could improve.

The analytics and reporting functionality can feel somewhat limited, particularly when trying to extract deeper insights or customise dashboards for more advanced analysis.

Having more flexible filtering and more actionable data built directly into the platform would make it easier for our team to make quicker, data-driven decisions without relying on external tools.

What do you like best about Okendo?

We use Okendo for loyalty, reviews, referrals & quizzes and I can't recommend them enough.

The ease of implementation and integration were a breeze - it plugged right into our Shopify setup and plays perfectly with our other platforms like Klaviyo. The team also did a brilliant job migrating us over from another platform for loyalty.

The real magic is how it’s boosted our conversions. By letting customers get specific about quality and sizing in reviews, it’s built massive trust and reduced buyer hesitation. Plus, their customer success team is top-tier; they’re proactive and helpful. For a platform that’s well-priced and always rolling out new features, it’s a total win. What do you dislike about Okendo?

They are always rolling out new features, and because the platform is so feature-rich, it’s actually easy to miss an update and realise we’re late to the party on a great tool.

We’ve definitely had moments where we weren’t taking full advantage of the tech simply because we didn't know it had launched yet! What do you like best about Okendo?

I have been doing E-Commerce for 20 years and have dealt with many review platforms. Whether it was Bazaar Voice, Yotpo, Power Reviews their customer service is horrific. I inherited Okendo when I changed jobs and expected the same. Okendo’s support has been exceptional. I have been shocked with how supportive, responsive they are. Okendo is very user-friendly, especially since the addition of the performance insights. I’m able to use these insights alongside my own data to easily inform CX decisions. What do you like best about Okendo?

I like the look of the review widget and the customization to make it more on brand. Overall, really great support from their team when you have a question or issue. They're always quick to respond and help. The ability to offer different rewards for text/photo/video reviews is great. I like the quiz but would love more options there (design and functionality). What do you dislike about Okendo?

There's a large gap from the 200/mo order plan to the 1500/mo plan. Seems odd and you have to then buy credits if you're somewhere in the middle. Which is fine, but if you aren't paying close attention to it, you may not even know you are out of credits. A plan in between this would be great. What do you like best about Okendo?

I really enjoyed working with Chelsea from the Okendo team. She made the process super easy and was incredibly helpful in explaining things to my team and orchestrating her end. She's constantly available, and I'm sad to move on from her being our company's onboarding manager. I have no complaints about our experience with her or the platform. I like how easy the dashboard is to use on the back end with Okendo. I can find all of our customer data and pull numbers very easily. The loyalty program is helpful, and we can efficiently search members to see their point status and activity. Plus, the initial setup of Okendo was super easy and straightforward thanks to their side making it simple. Overall, Okendo is a great platform, and I've already recommended it to others. What do you like best about Okendo?

I like how easy Okendo is to use and integrate with different systems. The back end is very user-friendly. It integrates very easily with Shopify and also Klaviyo. I really enjoy being able to use the triggers in Klaviyo to create custom flows based on actions. What do you dislike about Okendo?

I do wish there were more ways to customize widgets on the back end. Sometimes, it's hard to really customize and make things the way you want them to because you're limited with the way something is configured. It would be nice if you could readily update small things like copy on buttons or certain questions. For instance, in the quiz widget, when you add the email question at the end, it would be nice to be able to modify the text around the question you're asking or add more copy to explain why you're asking for someone's email address. I find Okendo reliable, easy to use, and intuitive. Adding it to our site and making changes is so simple. It allows us to map out how social proof works on the site our own way, letting us add reviews in a premium way that fits our brand ethos. What do you dislike about Okendo?

The onboarding process is a little longer than it needs to be - I feel like it could have been condensed into two calls. I think for reviews it only needs to be structured to find out brand intent and then a second meeting to review revisions. At a push, we could have a follow-up to see how we're getting on.
