The team at Wunderkind are excellent to work with. They are responsive to ideas and suggestions and partner with you to find a strategy that works for your brand. What do you dislike about Wunderkind?

What do you dislike about Wunderkind?

We have been a Wunderkind client for over a year and have paid substantial fees during this period. While the platform itself functions, it requires significantly higher spend than comparable solutions in the market.

Unfortunately, during our engagement, the mishandling of our Black Friday/Cyber Monday flows resulted in direct revenue losses of more than USD 15,000. Under the termination provisions of our agreement, we are within our rights to exit the contract. Despite this, Wunderkind has declined to honor the clause, which we view as unacceptable. And keep sending invoices, even now.

What's more, at the beginning of the engagement we were getting on calls with the AM multiple times a quarter, but this decreased to once a quarter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Extension to Our Team"
What do you like best about Wunderkind?

Wunderkind truly feels like an extension of our internal team. With a small CRM and retention group working in a fast-paced, pop culture-driven environment, we need to stay agile and adaptable in our planning. Wunderkind has proven to be an excellent partner in this setting, always showing understanding and flexibility, especially when we need to make last-minute changes. Our account partner and their team have taken the time to get to know our business and customer profiles, tailoring their recommendations accordingly. Each month, our account team manages tests and optimizations for us, continually building on their suggestions. They are also very open to our feedback, considering new test ideas and evaluating them against industry best practices.

We rely on Wunderkind for onsite capture, email automations, and our SMS program, and we receive strong account support across all these areas—from reporting and troubleshooting to quick-turn design updates. The platform itself is user-friendly and intuitive for our team, no matter their experience level.

I also want to mention that everyone I’ve interacted with at Wunderkind has been genuinely friendly and enthusiastic about strengthening and personalizing our partnership. What do you dislike about Wunderkind?

Since we started using Wunderkind, we've expanded our mar-tech stack by adding a new ESP and CDP. Our goal is to integrate Wunderkind data so that our various programs can communicate with each other, ultimately creating a smoother user experience and journey. However, this integration has been challenging because each program operates differently. Despite this, when we brought these concerns to our account team, they took the time to thoroughly explore the situation and identify possible integration points to help us build a more connected digital marketing ecosystem. We truly appreciate their efforts, as this process has required significant digital investigation and time, but it promises to strengthen our partnership and foster better collaboration across our business. The customer service is always top tier. They are always thinking ahead and applying best practices to recommendations. If we ever have emergency updates, they are happy to jump in and work through them in an efficient and effective manner.

While Wunderkind’s templates are optimized for performance, we’d love more flexibility to test different creative approaches - especially as we think about reinforcing our brand identity through every touchpoint. The platform functionality is sophisitcated and allows us to capture a wide range of people and enter them into a very customizable funnel to help drive conversions aligned to our business goals. The partnership team we have in place is very knowledgebable and hands on, they truly understand our business, our objectives, opportunities, etc. Also, I feel the price is reasonable, often providing a more efficient CPA. What do you like best about Wunderkind?

Working with Wunderkind has enabled us to take full advantage of the traffic driven to our site by our marketing campaigns. Through their technology we are able to identify this traffic and then take action by executing retargeting campaigns. As a result, we drive additional and meaningful conversions month after month.
