What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

Original review in 2024: The loyalty program runs seamlessly and with no work on my part, which, as a small business owner, is a really big deal! Our customers love collecting points and getting rewarded with items they want.

What truly makes Loyalty Lion outstanding, though, is their customer support. When a customer of mine asks something that I can't answer, I'll message and get a response in minutes most of the time. They aren't reading from a script, either - They take the time to look into the situation and provide a good, solid answer that helps me help MY customers. It's one of the very few companies that I ENJOY talking to for support.

Updated in 2026: We've been using Loyalty Lion for several years now, and everything I said in 2024 still stands. I recently contacted Sathiya in LL support using an email address I had from years ago, and he was still there! He answered very quickly with a well-written solution to my question, and then went a step beyond that and both discovered and FIXED a related issue in our setup that I hadn't thought of. In this age of AI agents, being able to talk with a living, thinking, human is a huge selling point for any business, and Loyalty Lion has some of the best. Can you imagine any other company where you could email a support tech three years after talking with them - at an email address that includes their name, rather than a general email - and they're still there, and just as amazing as the first time you spoke with them? What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?

If there's a downside of using this program, I haven't seen it, and we've been using them for years! Yes, it costs a little bit of money, but the ROI is immediate and using them has profited our business greatly. I've tried others and been unhappy with them, but Loyalty Lion has been outstanding from the beginning and continues to add features that keep them above the competition. What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

I love the ease of use that LoyaltyLion offers, allowing me to effortlessly manage the platform despite having a busy developer who focuses on other projects. The ability to customize features extensively so they align perfectly with our brand and customer style is incredibly valuable. I also appreciate how responsive and helpful their team is, particularly our representative, Hannah Yeffe, who consistently offers new ideas and strategies to grow our program. The quick and easy initial setup facilitated by LoyaltyLion was impressive, as they expedited the process to meet our tight timeline and seamlessly transitioned our setup from Yotpo to their platform. I like LoyaltyLion because the service is always fast to respond and help me get my problems solved, which was not the case with our previous platform. It has enough features to customize the loyalty program without being too hard or time-consuming to manage. I also appreciate that the initial setup was quite easy for our team. What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

The dashboard is very easy to use and not difficult to understand. The account setup is very detailed and the onboarding + account manager help out a lot with this.

The integration with Shopify is perfect and it has given our customers a great way to experience our brand in a whole new way.

What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?

It does take quite some time for the customers to find and get used to Loyalty Lion and the rewards. Once you introduce them, you don't immediately see the results, which makes sense of course, but it does mean the first months are not profitable, which might make this a not-so-great fit with any company that is working with limited budgets. If you can stomach those first few months, the results are 100% worth it.

Also, the page that the development team delivered was quite difficult to edit and undestand for our development team, which meant we had to revamp pretty much everything ourselves on terms of look and feel. All logical stuff works perfectly though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

What I like most about LoyaltyLion is how seamlessly it integrates into both our customer journey and our tech stack. It gives us real flexibility to design a programme that genuinely fits our brand and values, not a cookie-cutter solution.

The platform is intuitive, data-rich, and gives me the control I need as a CRM manager to build meaningful engagement without constant developer input. The reporting, segmentation, and Klaviyo integration are excellent, and the support team (especially during onboarding) sets a standard that’s rare in this space.

There’s very little to dislike. If anything, I’d love to see more AI integration to support custom rewarding. If LoyaltyLion introduced options to connect with LLMs or agent-based tools, it could open the door to truly unique, adaptive reward experiences rather than relying solely on out-of-the-box automations. Sathiya has been such a great help for Discount 70! We've been able to effortlessly import customers from our other platform when switching to Shopify. The directions are clear on how the rewards system works, and the customer service has been impeccable! Sometimes it's a bit of a wait - just on weekends/getting back to business days, but once Monday hits, our questions are answered with clarity and efficency. What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

We’ve had such a great experience using LoyaltyLion for our rewards programme. The platform is super easy to use — both for our internal team and customers, and from the set-up to day-to-day management is always smooth and efficient.

One of the biggest highlights for us is how seamless the integration with Klaviyo is. It allows us to personalise our email flows and segments based on loyalty data, which has a big impact on our customer engagement and retention.

We’ve also had an amazing experience with our Customer Success Manager, Hannah Parker, who consistently goes above and beyond. Hannah always makes time when we need her, and we have regular catchups to review performance with valuable insights and actionable ideas to optimise our programme, from reward structures to engagement strategies. These sessions always leave us inspired with new ways to drive loyalty and strengthen our brand. It really feels like she’s an extension of our team rather than just a point of contact.

What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

I love the tiered system and the fact that the whole thing is managed for you. I don't have to manage whether the customer has kept the item or not, and it's great that points are automatically rewarded. The tiered system is clear, providing customers a goal for where they want to be. I also appreciate the very clear structure, which makes it easy for customers to see which tier they fit into and can aim for, as it is very well laid out. One challenge I see is the ability to pull more robust reporting details at the customer level.
