**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

This is Hao from Nublia. What I like best about LoyaltyLion is the combination of a strong loyalty platform and a genuinely supportive onboarding experience. The platform gives us a clear way to build a rewards program, engage customers, and think more strategically about long-term retention.

A big part of our positive experience has been working with Freya, our onboarding manager. During a challenging period for our business, she was incredibly understanding, patient, and supportive. She took the time to understand our situation, guide us through setup decisions, and offer flexible solutions instead of treating us like just another account.

What stood out most was that Freya was willing to help beyond the standard onboarding process, even when some of the challenges we were facing were outside LoyaltyLion’s direct scope. That made us feel supported not only by the software, but also by the team behind it.

Overall, LoyaltyLion has been valuable because it gives us the tools to build a better customer loyalty experience, and the onboarding support made a real difference in helping us feel confident moving forward.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

Overall, there is not much we actively dislike about LoyaltyLion, and our experience has been very positive. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be that the setup process can feel a little overwhelming at the beginning because there are many decisions to make around rewards, customer segments, program structure, and integrations.

For a smaller team, it can take time to fully understand the best way to configure everything and make sure the loyalty program fits our business goals. More step-by-step examples, templates, or best-practice recommendations for different types of brands would make the initial setup even smoother.

That said, our onboarding manager Freya helped a lot during this process. She was patient, responsive, and willing to guide us through the decisions, which made the learning curve much easier to manage.

**What problems is LoyaltyLion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LoyaltyLion is helping us solve the challenge of building stronger customer retention and repeat purchases. As a growing brand, we do not want to rely only on acquiring new customers. We also want to create a better post-purchase experience that gives customers a reason to come back, engage with our brand, and feel rewarded for their loyalty.

It helps us structure a rewards program in a more professional and scalable way, instead of trying to manage loyalty manually or with disconnected tools. The platform makes it easier to think about customer engagement, referrals, rewards, and long-term customer value in one place.

The benefit for us is that we can build a more sustainable retention strategy and create a better experience for our customers. With Freya’s onboarding support, we also felt more confident setting up the program in a way that fits our business goals.

**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

I really like LoyaltyLion for its detailed analytics that allow both topline and in-depth reporting on reward performance. The flexibility, customisation, and control it offers are solid. Their support team is top-notch, and I appreciate the developer resources available to create either a simple, out-of-the-box solution or an extremely custom one. The integration with Klaviyo is a big plus, allowing segmentation based on loyalty tier and points balance, among other things. The initial onboarding was fairly simple, and even though the migration was a little more labour-intensive, we had great support from our onboarding manager Sammy. Overall, the level of customisability really suits our needs as our previous solution was lacking in that department.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

Some newer reward types, like the free shipping tier benefit, have been 'live' for months but still lack a dedicated report in the platform's analytics section, making it hard to assess their value. Also, as enterprise plan customers, we would like be involved in annual or quarterly feedback groups to share our feedback and suggestions directly with the heads of product instead of via the support chat.

LoyaltyLion helps increase purchase frequency, identify and reward loyal customers, build excitement, and offer early access to new collections. It provides detailed analytics and flexibility, enabling data-driven decisions and customisation.

**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

It’s just really easy to use, both on our side and for customers. We run it across multiple stores and it’s been straightforward to set up and manage, which makes a big difference day-to-day. The Klaviyo integration is a big win for us as well. Being able to send out points balance emails and nudge people to redeem has worked really well. It’s also great during promo periods, as running double or triple points campaigns is simple but genuinely effective. Overall, it does what you need it to without being complicated.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

There are a few areas where you’d like a bit more flexibility, especially around custom setups, but nothing that’s been a dealbreaker for us. Whenever we’ve needed help, customer support has been responsive and useful.

**What problems is LoyaltyLion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helped us keep customer retention strong by giving people a clear reason to come back and shop again. Customers understand it easily and redeeming points is straightforward, which definitely helps with engagement. It also takes a lot of the manual work out of running a loyalty programme, especially with the Klaviyo side of things. Across multiple stores, it’s been a reliable way to drive repeat purchases and increase customer lifetime value.

**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

They’ve been very helpful throughout the whole process, from our first message with inquiries all the way through onboarding. They also offer solutions for things we’re trying to do, including some custom items we want to set up, like points for events, etc.

I love that they even provide examples for us to have an idea especially for new beginners and for those who are lost. 

And their FAQ was really helpful!

My onboarding Manager was very helpful even till now and I really recommend everyone who is tryong to do loyalty program to use Loyalty Lion.

And it is actually very easy to use and easy to implement as well. When I ask to custome our header words also they managed to do it.

**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

It's clean and easy to use, making training our customer service team faster. The integration with our in-store POS is fantastic from a customer perspective, making the program more cohesive and easy to access. Customers appreciate that they can join the loyalty program in-store, that their in-store purchases count towards their points, and that they can redeem those points both online and in-store. The initial setup was very easy and required very little backend development from us. Mariana's support handling our questions, going over the points calculator, best practices, and requests to change various visuals and settings, provided a truly white glove experience.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

The ability to change the tier spend values without needing to contact LoyaltyLion could be useful in the future. It would also be nice to have a formal integration with Kustomer.

**What problems is LoyaltyLion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LoyaltyLion required minimal backend development, making setup easy. Its clean design facilitates fast staff training, and POS integration enhances customer experience. Additionally, it allowed us to remove a few applications, as the functionality they provided was already available within LoyatlyLion including referrals.

I chose LoyaltyLion for a complex loyalty program. The integration was easy, and we were able to make UX/UI changes thanks to the step-by-step guidance provided by our consultant.
Reya El Thaalabi was always available and prompt in responding to our requests.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

Unfortunately, the experience customization page is a bit limited. There isn't much room for customization; compared to the e-commerce site we built, the loyalty page is too static. Fortunately, we were able to make some basic customizations, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with the site.

We needed to create a complex loyalty system based not only on tiers and point conversion, but also on specific actions that unlocked different rewards depending on what was done.Just 10 days after its launch, performance has already exceeded expectations.

**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

I like that LoyaltyLion offers a lot of ways to incentivize customers for participating in the loyalty program. The customer service is really great with a very good response and resolution time. The support we receive in understanding how to use the platform to its full capabilities is very rewarding. It's also really easy to get everything up and running, thanks to a dedicated onboarding team and cost specialist team that helps with the setup.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

Mainly, its multi-store support. So currently, we have three Shopify stores, LoyaltyLion only allows stores to be configured together if they share the same currency. If that could be expanded to make it multi-currency accessible for separate Shopify, that would be great.

I use LoyaltyLion to manage customer retention and reward customers. It helps by offering seamless perks and rewards for customers, giving points for activities like Instagram follows or product purchases, and offers custom integrations for rewarding customer subscriptions and reviews.

**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

Since my last review, I’ve been really impressed by how consistently LoyaltyLion keeps improving the platform. The pace of development and regular updates make it clear they’re investing for the long term and staying in step with how quickly eCommerce and retention moves.

What I appreciate most is that new features and enhancements tend to be genuinely useful, not change for change’s sake. They’re clearly listening to customers, tightening up the experience, and making it easier to run a programme day to day without needing extra developer support. The comms around updates are also strong: it’s clear what’s changed, why it matters, and how to use it, which makes adoption inside the business much easier.

Overall, it still feels like a partnership rather than a tool. The product is evolving in the right direction, and it gives me confidence we’ve chosen a platform that will keep getting better as our loyalty strategy matures.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

There’s still very little to criticise from a platform point of view, but one area that would make a real difference for newer programmes is more structured, proactive support after launch.

We’re new to loyalty, and while onboarding support was excellent, it would be hugely valuable to have more regular interaction with our Growth Manager in the early post-launch period. Not just reactive support when we ask, but someone acting as a subject matter expert to help us sense-check decisions, suggest optimisations, and proactively highlight where we could go further.

A light-touch cadence (even for the first 60–90 days) with performance reviews, “here’s what we’re seeing”, and practical recommendations on offers, comms, rewards mix, and next-best tests would accelerate learning and help teams like ours build confidence faster. Once we’re established, we’d likely need less, but early guidance would be a big win.

**What problems is LoyaltyLion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LoyaltyLion is going to help us deepen customer relationships beyond transactions. It will provide us the tools to recognise and reward behaviours that drive long-term loyalty, from repeat purchases to advocacy and engagement.

For me as a CRM manager, I see it becoming a key part of how we personalise the customer experience. The data and integrations will allow us to connect loyalty insights with our email flows, segmentation, and on-site experience, creating a consistent and rewarding journey.

All evidence suggests it will turn one-time buyers into brand advocates while adding measurable value to every channel in our retention strategy.

I like that LoyaltyLion is flexible and easy to iterate, allowing us to test continuously. It integrates seamlessly into the customer journey, making it a practical tool for retention and engagement without adding too much complexity operationally. We can launch and adjust campaigns to support specific commercial goals, whether that's encouraging repeat purchases, supporting NPD, or testing new offer mechanics. The relaunch process has been pretty seamless, thanks in large part to our account manager Hannah Parker, who has been a dream to work with.

We need the ability to be able to offer a GWP through the platform i.e. for launch we did a free mini GWP with every order when you're a member or sign up on the day however had to do through Abra and flows not possible in LoyaltyLion

I use LoyaltyLion to drive retention and repeat purchases while encouraging LTV-driven behavior without heavy discounting. Its flexibility and seamless integration let us launch and adjust campaigns to meet commercial goals, making it valuable for retention and engagement.

What I like most about LoyaltyLion is how easy it is to build a structured loyalty programme that still feels aligned with our brand. The flexibility around points, tiers and rewards means we can design something that feels premium rather than overly promotional, and the integrations with Shopify and Klaviyo make it very straightforward to manage.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

Some areas of the platform, particularly the front-end design and customisation of the loyalty page, require additional work to fully align with a premium brand aesthetic. It would be helpful to have more built-in flexibility there without needing custom development.

**What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

We're happy with the capabilities in the platform, and since launching in May 2025, our customers have responded extremely well to our new loyalty scheme! Hannah Parker has been really helpful as our Customer Success Manager and is always on hand for any queries.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

It would be useful for other people in the business, e.g. our Regional Sales Managers to have a clearer view on which customers have just moved up tier, with some immediate communication sent to them for this, in order to be able to congratulate customers within their region, making it more personal to them.

**What problems is LoyaltyLion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rewarding customers for their loyalty on a regular basis, something that has been requested for a long time. This has already helped incentivise new orders and customer retention over the last year. **What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?**

What I like best about LoyaltyLion is the balance of powerful functionality with ease of use. It gives a sophisticated loyalty and rewards engine without requiring a team of developers to manage it. The platform’s customisation options are excellent — we were able to tailor reward rules, earning behaviours and tier structures to fit our brand strategy rather than shoehorn into a generic model.

I also appreciate the built-in analytics and reporting: the dashboards surface meaningful customer loyalty metrics that inform decisions, and the segment insights help drive targeted campaigns that improve retention. From setup through optimisation, the support team has been responsive and proactive, which makes it easier to get value quickly.

In short, it’s a feature-rich, scalable loyalty solution that doesn’t compromise usability or flexibility.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

Some of the more advanced customisation and automation options can feel a bit limited without developer input, which can slow things down for smaller or fast-moving teams. The reporting is solid for day-to-day use, but could be more flexible for deeper analysis and exports.

That said, these are relatively minor trade-offs given how robust, intuitive, and well-supported the core platform is.

I use LoyaltyLion for our Shopify site to run our loyalty program. It gave us the ability to reward our loyal customers effectively. I really like having a good amount of control over the on-site content, and the ability to reference loyalty metafields in custom liquid sections and through Klaviyo personalization. The high level of control over the styling of the content on the loyalty page with a CSS field is great. Being able to freely customize our loyalty program to align with the look and feel of our brand is very beneficial. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, and Libby and the technical support team were helpful with our questions and edge-case solutions.

There were some limitations in how we could offer customers a bounceback reward. There wasn't a simple and clean way to offer the customer additional points if they order in a set time. In the end we've found a way to do this through Shopify flows and Klaviyo flows, but ideally everything would be handled by LoyaltyLion.

Original review in 2024:  The loyalty program runs seamlessly and with no work on my part, which, as a small business owner, is a really big deal!  Our customers love collecting points and getting rewarded with items they want.
What truly makes Loyalty Lion outstanding, though, is their customer support.  When a customer of mine asks something that I can't answer, I'll message and get a response in minutes most of the time.  They aren't reading from a script, either - They take the time to look into the situation and provide a good, solid answer that helps me help MY customers.  It's one of the very few companies that I ENJOY talking to for support.

Updated in 2026:  We've been using Loyalty Lion for several years now, and everything I said in 2024 still stands.  I recently contacted Sathiya in LL support using an email address I had from years ago, and he was still there!  He answered very quickly with a well-written solution to my question, and then went a step beyond that and both discovered and FIXED a related issue in our setup that I hadn't thought of.  In this age of AI agents, being able to talk with a living, thinking, human is a huge selling point for any business, and Loyalty Lion has some of the best.  Can you imagine any other company where you could email a support tech three years after talking with them - at an email address that includes their name, rather than a general email - and they're still there, and just as amazing as the first time you spoke with them?

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

If there's a downside of using this program, I haven't seen it, and we've been using them for years!  Yes, it costs a little bit of money, but the ROI is immediate and using them has profited our business greatly.  I've tried others and been unhappy with them, but Loyalty Lion has been outstanding from the beginning and continues to add features that keep them above the competition.

**What problems is LoyaltyLion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a retailer, not a manufacturer, so we have a lot of competition online selling the same products.  Having a fully customized loyalty program encourages customers to continue to buy from us rather than our competitors, and it does so in a completely hands-off way for me... It was easy to set up, and customers continue to comment how much they love collecting "Pony Points" for our horse-themed store.  As an additional win, customers are excited to save up their points for a reward, but often the reward code goes unused, so we get the benefit of excited, loyal customers without always paying out the reward.

I like the seamless product redemption that LoyaltyLion offers. I also find the automated email reminders very beneficial as they help us manage our small team better. It's nice not to worry about manually sending reminders and prevent customers from being upset about expiring points they didn't know about.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

It's frustrating that we can't remove people or block certain email domains. A lot of our corporate partners have different perks that make them ineligible for loyalty, but since they can't be removed, our totals are way off. It makes it to where we can't trust LoyaltyLion as a source of truth. We also are frustrated by how limited the integrations are. We wish we could use it with our CRM Pipedrive, but there's no integration which requires us to use Zapier. It's getting really expensive to not have integrations we need because we have to build out automations to try to mimic an integration. The initial setup of LoyaltyLion was not very easy. We had a lot of issues arise that were not disclosed by sales and our onboarding person was inconsistent.

I really appreciate the support from the internal team at LoyaltyLion, which has been great in helping us create elements for Langh's loyalty program. The dashboard is also a standout feature, as it processes a lot of complex data quickly, like purchase frequency, progression through tiers, and credits usage, saving our team a lot of time. The integration with Shopify and Clavio makes the process seamless for customers, especially with handling the issue of issuing credits for returned items automatically and seamlessly. The ability to control the level of benefits as customers scale through tiers is also impressive.

I would like to see Apple Wallet being added as a feature soon for our customers to have their loyalty card on there. Smartphones would be a big driver for in-store purchases and also serve as a brand reminder on their smart devices.

The dashboard is very easy to use and not difficult to understand. The account setup is very detailed and the onboarding + account manager help out a lot with this.
The integration with Shopify is perfect and it has given our customers a great way to experience our brand in a whole new way.

And if you're ever struggling with anything, the account manager and development team are always available to help you out.

**What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?**

It does take quite some time for the customers to find and get used to Loyalty Lion and the rewards. Once you introduce them, you don't immediately see the results, which makes sense of course, but it does mean the first months are not profitable, which might make this a not-so-great fit with any company that is working with limited budgets. If you can stomach those first few months, the results are 100% worth it.

Also, the page that the development team delivered was quite difficult to edit and undestand for our development team, which meant we had to revamp pretty much everything ourselves on terms of look and feel. All logical stuff works perfectly though!

Before starting with Loyalty Lion we had no real way of rewarding and/or immersing our biggest fans into the brand. After a year of working with Loyalty Lion, we are now seeing great results on all metrics: Purchase frequency, AOV, and most importantly, CLV. 
By offering exclusive rewards and benefits, we are now creating a real community feel for everyone that has some form of interest in our brand and products.

I really like how easily LoyaltyLion plugs into Shopify, and it's easy for customers to use too. Plus, it gives us the flexibility to adjust anything we want, whether it's the rewards or the design. The integration was super fast, and we had everything designed, built, and ready to go live in about 4 to 6 weeks. Also, I find it great that we could integrate LoyaltyLion with Attentive, allowing us to build Email and SMS journeys that immediately give our customers the key details they need about their accounts. The initial setup was a breeze, as LoyaltyLion did most of it for us.

I haven't found anything yet. In the future, if we were to move away from Shopify, I think LoyaltyLion only works with Shopify, so that could be an issue, but only in the future if we do so.

One of the biggest highlights for us is how seamless the integration with Klaviyo is. It allows us to personalise our email flows and segments based on loyalty data, which has a big impact on our customer engagement and retention.

I don't have to manage whether the customer has kept the item or not, and it's great that points are automatically rewarded. The tiered system is clear, providing customers a goal for where they want to be. I also appreciate the very clear structure, which makes it easy for customers to see which tier they fit into and can aim for, as it is very well laid out. The number of rewards you can give is also something I really like. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, thanks to a great onboarding manager.
