Triple Whale is our source of truth for marketing data. The integrations are solid, and we trust the data because we’ve verified its accuracy ourselves. It’s helpful to have everything centralized in one place, especially since we manage all our advertising in-house across multiple channels. The ability to analyze campaigns and get clear insights is a big plus. I also like that the tool can notify us when specific thresholds are hit, which saves us from having to constantly monitor everything manually. With a small team, this kind of automation is really valuable.

We are completely satisfied with the user-friendliness, performance and customer support

**What problems is Triple Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Triple Whale, it was difficult to keep track of all our campaigns and ads across different platforms. We have hundreds of ads running at any given time, and staying on top of performance manually was time-consuming and prone to error. Now, we can set up notifications for when certain ROAS or spend thresholds are met, which helps us act quickly and avoid wasting ad spend. It’s also made it easier to analyze our marketing structure in detail, something that used to take days to do. Having clear, actionable data has been a big time-saver and helps us make better decisions.

I've been dealing with the same attribution issue for months, and support kept pointing to dashboard filters instead of addressing the underlying attribution problem. Their attribution delivers wrong data, and their support keeps ignoring the tracking problems. Also, the attribution of imported marketplace orders is not working.

Triple Whale centralizes all my data in one place and gives me a clear view of performance across different platforms. The attribution system is very helpful to understand where sales really come from, and the dashboards make it easy to make better decisions every day.

Customer support is really helpfull and fast.

Pricing can also be a bit high for smaller businesses. I would also like to see improvements in load speed when working with large amounts of data.

The concept behind the system is quite good. However, despite paying over $600 each month, we still do not receive any customer support. We have been waiting for a resolution to one issue for three months now, and all we are told is that they are working on it.

Extremely disappointing customer service - the worst i have seen in years. The attribution system is consistently buggy and unreliable, causing more harm than good. Not worth the investment — if you value accurate data and dependable support, I strongly recommend avoiding this platform.

**What do you like best about Triple Whale?**

The thing I actually liked best about Triple Whale was the customer service. At the time of use, my customer service representative's name was Renee (not sure if she is still with the company). Renee would jump on calls with me all the time to answer questions and provide screen share walkthroughs. Her help was invaluable! When I was using Triple Whale, our client had a hard time believing the numbers that were coming from one platform v. another (for example, Google Ads v. Facebook sales). Because Triple Whale was giving us third party data without any wonky attribution windows, the team was able to best make marketing and sales decisions moving forward. The team used Triple Whale almost daily to run through numbers with our clients, and they were very trusting of the platform. Building the custom dashboard was easy, and again, if I needed help from the customer support team, I got it immediately!

Using Triple Whale does have a bit of a learning curve and a trust curve. We, as marketers, are used to taking other platforms as true, so you have to learn what Triple Whale is actually doing, and use it!

Untrusting clients. I had clients that would not believe the reporting we were giving them, so by using Triple Whale, they gained trust in knowing that we were using 3rd party analytics to verify sales and marketing dollars spent.

Although Amazon Sales can be integrated with Triple Whale, there are many functionalities that do not take this sales channel in consideration making it hard to consolidate information.

What I love most about Triple Whale is that it's more accurate than facebook or google when it comes to tracking revenue based on ads.

We started using Triple Whale over a year ago and it has been a game changer with analyzing how platforms are performing. I live in the platform all day. It allows us to watch campaigns better and make better decisions for the media that we're running. Everyone that we work/talk with at TW has been great and very knowlegable. 100% recommend to anyone and everyone.

They make some updates to the dashboard that are frustrating when you're used to looking at it from one way. We'd like to integrate with some additonal media partners we work with and that has been very challenging over the last year+.

Nothing. During the use of service I though the price for UTM tracking was to much. Post use of service my expereince feels like i've been full blown scammed.

**What do you dislike about Triple Whale?**

Previously used this software, its simply utm tracking so overpriced for what it is. We canceled in march of this year to switch over to madgicx. We made the cancelation on there site and thought all was well. We recently realized they're still billing us so contacted them with no resolution provided other than a "we will escalate" statement that I'm sure will go in their favor. Went back through the cancelation process the second time before this conversation. No email confirmation or anything proving I did cancel which is super convenient for them with disputes. An hour later I go back to look and it shows as STILL SUBSCRIBED! All my billing info still there ready to bill me again December 1st.  My advice is unless you like overpaying for UTM tracking and you plan to use this service for the rest of your life (because its impossible to cancel)  then don't do it. Other reviews are floating around complaining of the exact same thing. Not sure what it is about ECOM related software companies but this seems to be a common issue with them billing post cancelation and then conveniently having no record of your cancelation once you reach back out.

We used Google Analytics only before connecting with Triple Whale, and layering spend into our calculations made our optimization processes inefficient. Triple Whale has been a big help in pulling all data sources together for real-time updates in one place. Another benefit we've felt is getting visibility into new customer CPA and ROAS metrics, which can be especially valuable with brands that have subscriptions that can inflate in-platform CPA metrics.

We use it as another data source to compare against what Facebook and Google Analytics say (considering the different attribution windows all three platforms use) to make better-informed optimization decisions. We've also found most accounts we work with have found success tracking closer to what Triple Whale says than what FB and GA can do on their own.

**What do you dislike about Triple Whale?**

I think the main error that can come from using Triple Whale is thinking it solves the attribution challenge entirely. Another issue we've found is that Triple Whale doesn't pass their Pixel's data back to Facebook to improve the algorithm's optimization decisions; it's simply a dashboard for media buyers to have some additional context and steer spend accordingly.

It provides a single source for tons of advanced ecommerce store insights that you simple cannot get from any other platform. I have not used anything quite like it. Google Analytics doesn't come close to providing as much valuable data that is actually actionable in most cases. Being able to integrate all ad platforms and the Shopify store data to get blended metrics across channels is incredible.

**What do you dislike about Triple Whale?**

While I mentioned it provides advanced metrics, they are just that, and some of them are so advanced it's a little daunting and a lot to chew on, for example the cohorts reporting and lifetime value calculations give a ton of data but not necessarily any insights for short term decision making.

**What problems is Triple Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Triple Whale gives me one single place to view advanced ecommerce metrics that you can't get from any other single platform. I can view blended metrics from Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Pinterest ads for our clients to get a sense for how effective our marketing agency is for our client. The product analytics, product journey, and sales cycle reporting help us fine tune optimizations for ads to show the best products in ads to current and potential customers to maximize revenue and lifetime value.

**What do you like best about Triple Whale?**

The great news is Triple Whale has tons and tons of features that, in theory, would be very helpful across marketing, finance, and operations disciplines in an organization like ours (DTC ecomm).

Triple Whale has solutions for MTA (multi-touch attribution) & media measurement, financial forecasting, creative learning & optimization, and pseudo-CRM functions like LTV, cohort analysis, and sales cycle insights.

I have no doubt that many organizations that commit to adopting and really learning Triple Whale will find the tool useful.

**What do you dislike about Triple Whale?**

At times I feel like Triple Whale is a Ferrari when a Fiat will do just fine.

As a marketer, MTA scares me in that it spits out a blind (sometimes seemingly contextless and arbitrary) number for media performance that you are expected to take action on.

In reality, most DTC/ ecomm businesses <$100MM in annual revenue don't need anywhere near the complexity in measurement that Triple Whale can provide, and I've often found that it leads to asking more questions and confusion than it does provide clear answers and create alignment.

We use a combination of PPS (post-purchase survey), GA last-click, and platform data to make all media allocation decisions, and do so to a high degree of accuracy without the need for costly software.

The thought of Triple Whale is great, and the product itself really is great. Where I think it falls short, in a practical sense, is that it's a little too "techy" for widespread adoption from junior to senior levels across the org. K-I-S-S:  "keep it simple, stupid"

Attribution is the main solve that Triple Whale was adopted for. It does give us an additional perspective on attribution, but we've rarely (if ever) made decisions based on the data that Triple Whale is providing.

**What do you like best about Triple Whale?**

TripleWhale tackles several painful & important problems at once. It provides a more sophisticated dashboard of my business including the Shopify store, all our marketing channels, gateway expenses, and even custom COGS inputs  if you so choose to do so. TripleWhale also serves as a powerful tool in the ever-growing attribution problem. How do you know which investments contributed to a customer conversion. How can you tell if you're paying to hit the same customer multiple times? Everything platform including our Amazon shop is tracked spend vs income with profit margins built in.  Instead of saying we did $10k in sales today i can now say, we earned $3k in net profit today which is what matters most to a self funded owner like myself.

nothing, its perfect. My only suggestion is related to the rare days that Meta or even TW has a glitch and sales vs spend are not accurate. Its happened 4x in the last year and a half which isnt horrible with half being a meta ad issue but TW should be red flagging abnormal ROA metrics and it should notify me and their IT team to figure out if its a Meta issue or a TW issue that day.

TripleWhale has been super helpful in measuring the performance of our Facebook and Google campaigns. We have this app for each of our e-commerce clients and has helped us identify ads that bring the most revenue and attribute our sales to the right channels. My least favorite thing has been the latest update they did to the platform because it has been bugging our account. I'd use this for creators in the ads so like all ads made by george or ads that have sarah in them, i'd compare those with ads made by everyone else and ads with different actresses in them, in a report form.

The different attribution windows and models can really help show the true impact multiple channels have when operating at the same time. We quickly realized one of our main sales channels was basically performing like garbage (when we thought it wasn't!). But, the analytics have been a nice added bonus. The amount of data it pulls in from many different channels helps to bring a lot of insight into sales, conversion, and performance, and it does it in an easy-to-read/reference format.

We manage multiple different channels in our Shopify store, including our regular e-commerce website orders, some direct wholesale orders, and sample send-outs for our sales team. The problem this creates is that Triple Whale pulls data from ALL orders in Shopify, which impacts the true numbers of some important metrics like average sales per order, cost per acquisition, average lifetime value of customer, etc. Unless I am unaware of the feature, Triple Whale needs to add an option to filter the data it pulls from Shopify based on customer tags as this would help us being able to see true numbers for our e-commerce sales.

It may not help FB make decisions, but it helps YOU make decisions and direct your FB and other marketing channels to do exactly what they need to do. It's the best way to increase your ROI in today's digital ad spend climate. HIGHLY recommend TW. Also - customer service has been really helpful. They onboarded us and made sure we had everything we needed, and that things were working 100% before setting us loose.

The triple pixel tracks attribution far better than the native platforms lose that data amongst various privacy laws and whatnot. It's also relatively easy to use and understand from the get-go too.

It's a little limited in terms of the perspective you can view the data through, but I'm guessing they're working on it as a fast growing startup. I also think there's an opportunity to "count" the triple pixel data differently. Hence, it's not necessarily double counting but dividing up the revenue in a weighted approach (if that makes sense). The double counting looks great for channel performance but ends up being hard to reconcile with the cold hard numbers at the end of the month.

The dashboard customization is extremely helpful and saves me so much time not having to switch from platform to platform to analyze the data that I need and the pixel... Gamechanger. I can finally have faith in attribution data.

**What do you dislike about Triple Whale?**

There are occasionally errors where your accounts come disconnected but it's usually a quick fix to get it back up and running. It also sucks that you need custom parameters added to all the ads so when you're just setting it up there isn't any historical data to look at but moving forward its great.

**What problems is Triple Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me analyze what the best performing campaign and ads are and where I should reallocate to achieve a better ROAS. The LTV feature is also extremely helpful to make sure we're promoting products with the highest LTV.

**What do you like best about Triple Whale?**

The triplePixel. It shows the real Roas Value from our ADs like Google and Facebook. We saw major differents beween the roas that google gave us and the Pixel Roas. Now we know better which Campaign perform and which not.

**What do you dislike about Triple Whale?**

There is a Progoramm called Influencer Hub and it would be good to see which Videos and Pictures performed the best. As far as i now you cannot do it with afflluencer Hub. Also it is a bit pricy so new companys have it hard to buy it.

**What problems is Triple Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem about the Performance from our campagins. Now we can track every campaign and every sales channel better. Also now we have everything in 1 Tool and we do not need for each channel a specific tool.
