**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

We use an internal system designed specifically for our company and Nutshell has allowed us to link with it to keep us organized. Once the infrustructure is in place, it's relatively intuitive in it's use.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Nutshell seems to be tailored to a different industry. I work in event design and production - primarily weddings - and don't use many of the features.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps my notes straight and helps me stay organized with each client.

  ### 2. Tracking Projects with Nutshell

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I use Nutshell to track projects as theymove through our pipeline.
Often this means that I see the project in its initial stages, and can easily see where each project is at.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Sometimes when sorting through my projects it can get a little bloated, and I have to play with and rely on very specific filters to see what I need.
At times, Nutshell can be a little slow -but that may be a problem on my end.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I receive a call from a team member, they can just give me the Nutshell number and in an instant we are both on the same page. We both can see what our next steps are, who to reach out to in a few minutes.

I like that it can help you get organized. It has many options so you can keep it simple or use many different tools. Easy to navigate.

It does not always show when the last time you contacted someone when it is through your email even when it is linked.

First, it keeps my contacts in one spot instead of spreadsheets. Second, it reminds me to reach out to contacts.

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

It does what it needs to do with lots of tips on screen for beginers. Reporting is basic but is enough for my clients. Integrated email marketing definitely helps with lead nurture and customer relationships. Customer support is always quick and thorough.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Some aspects aren't consistent. Like if I stop automated emails on a lead, it stays at the top as stopped even if I restarted in email sequence below. 

Tasks and Activities can get confusing to remember the difference.

Organizing contacts, managing leads, reaching propsects and customers regularly.

I like that it is easy to search archival commuication between customers and my company. I often use it to keep track of previous communications and gather information to better assist my customers and my bosses in their decision-making.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I wish there was a way to send all my emails into Nutshell without always having to remember to use the bcc email address. Also, more options for a support integration would be great.

Archival information from previous employees. It helps me get a more well-rounded view of what has been discussed previously so I can remain consistent.

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell's user-friendly interface and straightforward navigation make it easy to track accounts, manage all of our sales processes, and combine all aspects of engaging with current and prospective customers. Covering initiatives that target prospects and customers, the workflow of this area can be achieved using an algorithm and simple criteria. This includes aspects such as metrics, social media management, customer support, email marketing, inventory and human resources management. One of the features that allows you to start using it during the webinar engagement is the tool.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

A few things that could be better with this fantastic CRM solution are the inclusion of tutorial manuals and a basic configuration of the CRM so that users can see how to set up the program initially. Also, the customer support is really slow.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Several market segments are currently using Nutshell to track sales. Customer tracking starts at the prospect stage and continues through the sales funnel, from qualifying leads to engaged customers to closes. For large companies with many stakeholders, this tool has been great for lead tracking, and for the mid-sized companies that use our products, it has been fantastic. We can upgrade our current method of tracking sales, sending reminders, and communicating with spreadsheets to a more organized system.

Nutshell is easy to use - whether it's creating a broadcast, a list, or even contacting support with a question you may have. Customer support is by far the best part about nutshell. Every time I had an issue or was unsure of how to use a specific feature, they were there to help. Most of the time with rapid response!

The downside about Nutshell that I have experienced is the lack of ability to easily, completely freestyle the broadcasts and import certain design aspects.

Ease of setup and use, and the mapping function

I don't use some features (e.g., pipeline), so the dashboard is cluttered with irrelevant noise.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an Industry Liaison for a School of Business at my university, I constantly interact with community partners, employers, alumni, and current students. Nutshell provides instantaneous intel for upcoming meetings, outreach campaigns, and out-of-area trips. I answer questions quickly about companies (e.g., how many alumni work there?)  and people (e.g., guest speakers, where I met them) so that outreach is tailored and we look like geniuses. Nutshell has given me back so much time! 

I also love seeing who has opened my emails and if they clicked on links. This insight benefits me in follow-up conversations and evaluating what works.

Since signing up with Nutshell to manage my CRM workflow, I've given other departments demos of how they can efficiently manage and track complex relationships.

- It has user friendly interface: It is very clean and intuitive that makes every user to navigate.
-Robust reporting analytics:It provides insightful reporting and analytics that would help in data-driven decisions.
-It provides powerful sales automation tools.
- Scheduling meetings with a customers and sending emails automatically withought going back to inbox.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

- Lacks integration option: You can consider adding third-party integration like project management and some marketing tools. I think it would add value.

Nutshell is helping me to:

1.  Keep partners' contacts.
2. Track journey of our partners and previous discussion.
3. Proper handover when I'm on leave because my manager can easily see conversation with our partners.

  ### 17. Affordable and feature-rich CRM built for SMB market

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Simple, user-friendly interface. Easy to track sales opportunities through pipeline. Many features recently added and including voice-to-text for making notes & AI transcription for calls. When I do connect with support team, they're helpful.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

(1) Support is not always responsive to emails or calls. This is a recent development.
(2) Pages can load slowly especially when there are a lot of notes. We have a long sales cycle so there can be many outreaches.
(3) Not easy to upload/cross reference new lists
(4) Click-to-call feature can be wonky

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good CRM for smaller SaaS org

I appreciate that the platform is receiving largescale updates and the support team is communicative and helpful

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

It is not the most flexible platform, I would like to see more customization in terms of product structure, quoting, and automated emailing.

Drip sequences and email blasts have not worked for us yet, those issues are not yet resolved (DMARC).

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell assists by visualizing leads and identifying priority leads. It helps with organization in that way

I don't have much that I could say about this. Maybe the fact that we use nutshell through our email and instead of automatically replying to the persons email it responds back to ours. not sure if thats even a nutshell issue.

Nutshell helps our customers fill out easy quote forms through our website which helps us to respond quicker and book more trips. Rather than sitting by the phone all day answering calls/emails.

We love everything about Nutshell. The lead tracking capability, ability to add tags to easily filter data and the link between companies and individuals all works great for our large sales database. As a manager it is easy to track the sales team's activity and check progress on accounts in a few clicks.

Compared to more mainstream CSM systems, there is a little bit of a learning curve with Nutshell, but that is what also makes it great once you learn everything it can do.

Juat like any software, you need to understand the UI and why it was done that way.  So, the learning curve is just that, just like any other software.  It's not steep, just takes time to learn it.

Customer Service is always available, quick to respond, and very helpful. The platform is simple and for the most part intuitve. I like that duplicate leads are able to be merged. Using the desktop version making calls and tracking interactions is fantastic.

The mobile app is lacking. There are missing functionalities and the look is not the same. I would like to have a uniform experience on both the mobile and destop versions.

Our team has been using Nutshell for five years now. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the ease of onboarding and being able to custom our pipeline for our specific business needs. In my professional opinion, I find Nutshell more straight forward and easier to utilize than the 'other' main blue cloud logo CRM system. Their pricing is fair, their customer service team has been friendly and easy to communicate with and their frequent new product releases are appreciated.

I wish there were more options and customizations for the marketing emails. It's fine to use, but rather clunky.

It is very simple and straightforward to setup and use.  We tried other CRMs and chose Nutshell because of its simplicity.  And whenever we've had questions, the support team has replied quickly.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

A minor but annoying issue is that the Outlook plugin can't be pinned....it must be reopened whenever we move from one email to the next.

And within the Nutshell database, when looking through a contact's email history, we are unable to search for specific keywords/terms.  Can only search for emails within a specific date.  Our use-case might be different than most others, so this may be a non-issue.

In our small business, all the employees need to have access to all contact records and their email histories.

So unfortunatly, we just didn't use the old one, yet kept paying for it even though it was too expensive. We were just frustrated with the experience. But we have found the opposite to be true of Nutshell! It has veen easy to implement for our team, everyone has been able to use it, and found its strengths for each of our needs and uses. This is my second review of Nutshell, now seven months into using it as our CRM, sales funnel, and communication tool for prospects and clients. We switched from a costly CRM software to Nutshell in January 2024, and we love it. The newsletter templates are fantastic, with an open rate of 35-50%. We use it for drip campaigns to stay in front of prospects. It's very user-friendly, and the support team is incredibly responsive. Whenever I have an issue, I simply send an email and receive clear instructions to resolve it, followed by a follow-up to ensure the problem is fixed. I continue to recommend Nutshell to industry colleagues for its ease of use and affordability.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

There's nothing I dislike. We need to get more comfortable about the features. The scheduler doesn't allow you to add additional people. So once the meeting / call is set you can add people afterwards.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our last CRM system was becoming too expensive for our needs. We saved $7,000 by switching.

We were organizing our client info in spreadsheets and project management software, and needed a dedicated CRM software to make communicating with clients and keeping track of progress easier. I really like the pipelines and the automations, so clients can receive automatic emails and follow-up emails. This cuts down a lot on our manual work! I also like that we can see our email threads with clients on the lead file in Nutshell. The integrations with Gmail and our document service, Pandadocs, make the work much more seamless.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Nutshell is suitable for small teams, but is limited in its customization and automation. If you need to supercharge your CRM, this might not be the right choice. One pain point for our team is that the custom fields are not customizable enough, and we can only sort our data off of a limited choice of custom fields. I also wish the reporting was more customizable, so we can slice our data in more ways and create more meaningful insights.

Nutshell puts all info about our clients in one place. It also has integrations with our other tools (Gmail, Pandadocs), so we can have all of our workflows at our fingertips. We no longer have to check 5 different tools to get information on our clients.

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I appreciate how easy it is to use the API to query and change data. It makes for a very robust integration experience if you are using software developed in-house. The staff is very helpful and answers questions very thoroughly. The API documentation allows you to key in sample data to generate properly formatted JSON, which is very useful and makes development very efficient.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

No real downsides. One thing that would be useful is the ability to create custom modules, such as for orders/sales.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most relevant problem that is solved for me, as a developer, is the ease of use in which I can integrate the in-house solution with the API. This, in turn, makes for a more robust sales pipeline integration.

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

I like the ease of searching companies I work with or people within those companies. It's easy to send emails and marketing to them through Nutshell

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Would be nice to not have email sending limitations on the number of emails sent per day.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to Send email campaigns to my clients. But only 300 a day so it takes a coupe weeks to send to my entire dayabase. I wish there was a better way.

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell is a great user experiance. A lot of other CRMs can be overwhelming to some. Nutshell has a very user friendly layout.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

I dont have much that I dislike. If I had to chose something it would be that the everything almost works perfectly. I alwasy find small bugs but the Nutshell support team is alwasy very quick to fix it.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell is working on their permission levels. this is allowing us to beter work with all of out franchise owners.

Sometimes, help can be slow.  Today, they were lightning fast in helping me resolve my problem, but sometimes they are very very slow to resolving the issue.

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Easy to navigate and use, intuitive. It can be used as a full CRM system as well as a Sales funnel with the marketing comms aspect added to it, at a very good price. CUstomer support is incredible, very responsive and you can speak to an actual human who is available within 24 hours across the globe. We use it daily.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Users count as credits and that coincides with the marketing aspect of the platform. Therefore communications (broadcasts/newsletters) to contacts that exists outside of leads are mixed in your credit count. One could use alternative platforms to  solve this, but there is a cost factor.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An overview of sales pipelines within the team and ability to communicate to clients and view comms across team members is great. It integrates with your email. Easy access to email or send out drip sequences as well.

I am happy to have all my information in one place. Also makes it so easy to communicate with team members as we each aim to help encourage the new leads.

It processes a little slowet than I prefer.

Direct communication with new leads thru texting and email. Allows me to place a task to automatically remind me to follow up. Also have the ability to send consecutive automated communications.
