"Getting started with Nutshell is a breeze"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

Getting started with Nutshell was a breeze. It's intuitive, clean, and fully functional from day one. I appreciate how quickly I was able to adapt, with minimal training required. The interface feels logical and modern, which means no resistance from new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

Reporting is solid but lacks deep customization—some charts and dashboards feel limited for advanced users. SalesRobotG2

Customization options are somewhat restricted—adding more custom fields or adjusting layouts would be a welcome upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It's pretty self-explanatory"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I like that in your dashboard, all appointments are listed along the side, so there really is no need to go back and forth to google calendar to check appointments. I also like that I have the ability to put what I want showing on my dashboard vs what other people in company would rather have there. I work for a company that has multiple locations and I can make it show me only my location salespeople, which is nice to not have every single person's appointments or leads showing. What I also like about the dashboard is there is no limit on the cards that I wish to have showing. At least I haven't gotten to a limit and still have the option to add one if I want. It's pretty self-explanatory on what information gets entered and where. The text/email feature through Nutshell is great. I have created certain templates for emails to go to our customers for different reasons and it'll automatically insert the customer's name into the template email once I am in that person's info and click on send email and then just click send - super easy and takes just a few seconds/clicks. Nutshell also suggests if a person or lead could be a duplicate (perhaps previously entered by someone else with a different spelling, or maybe they've moved from the previous address and has the same name) and then you can merge them together if it is in fact a duplicate, or you could click not a duplicate if it's not. What do you dislike about Nutshell?

There are some things/selections that are repetitively entered in both Person and Lead. If I enter a lead before I enter a person, it does not pull all of their information that I already entered in the lead over to the person so address/phone number/email all need to be re-entered. However if the Person is entered first, then click create a lead, it will pull all of the information already entered over. (Now we just make sure we enter the person first so we aren't entering the same data twice) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive CRM with Limitless Accessibility"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I like that Nutshell is very intuitive, easy to set up, simple to use, and cloud-based, so I can use it anywhere. This makes my sales forecasting easier, especially because I'm on the road a lot. The initial setup was pretty easy once I figured out the basic steps, and it didn't take too long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

It can be a little bit basic compared to CRMs like Salesforce. I would like to see more integrations with other tools that we use, such as Slack, ClickUp, or HubSpot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Full Powered Information on the Road."
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I am able to access my Nutshell information while I am travelling, and being untethered to a desktop is very important. I am able to use my mobile phone to access the full power of Nutshell and view/modify contacts, add notes, and check customer scheduling and history anytime, anywhere.

It was necessary to quickly pivot my schedule this week, and by being able to access Nutshell all day, frequently, I was able to manage my time and my customer meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

Not a Nutshell problem, though data lag when out of primary cellular network can be frustrating.

As for features, so far with about two months of continuous use, no negatives to report at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great customizable CRM, adaptable to your unique needs."
What do you like best about Nutshell?

The amount of customization that is embedded throughout (including tags, lists, and workflows). The onboarding process is also very supportive by providing three free onboarding meetings with a Nutshell team member, and sharing a template for customizing your workflows with their support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

There are some items I wanted to suggest for feedback, but the feedback button was not working for me. Notably, I would suggest the following as items for the team to hopefully integrate:

- making the email pop-up box to be adjustable in size (the email body box can be quite small if you are cc'ing someone)

- allow the use of email templates when replying to emails (currently you can send email templates only if you start a new email chain, but it is nice for clients to be able to see a follow-up/reply to a message in the same chain for context)

- allow tags to be editable and mergeable with other tags (it would be great if you could edit the tag text as well as merge multiple tags together)

- you should be able to pin lists to the top of your lists section for companies, people, and leads for ease of access

- for custom $ value fields, you should be able to see the total amount when viewing that group or list of leads Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable All-in-One CRM with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I love their customer support team. They're very responsive and very positive. I use broadcast tools, which make it a nice simple way to run sales emails and marketing cadences. Nutshell is very easy to set up on your own, but the customer support team helps you out too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

Well, Nutshell is a jack of all trades. I would say it's kind of a master of none. I could see people saying maybe they need a little bit more. For example, first drip campaigns for sales, there's other systems that just do a lot better and more complex job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use Program"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I like how simple and easy it is to use Nutshell. The learning curve is not steep, so it's easy for new employees to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

Sometimes it's a little too basic. It works for our needs, because our sales cycles aren't terribly involved, but sometimes the functions with email templates and automate responses are limited. One thing that stood out to me was that it only lets you do so many "goals" in each sales cycle stage in the lead. For example, our goal for multiple stages might be to get an email response, or for the customer to acknowledge something. It only lets us have that option once per stage in the lead. "Streamlined, Intuitive, and Perfect for Managing a Real Sales Process"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

Nutshell makes it incredibly easy to turn a messy sales process into something clean, trackable, and repeatable. I use it to manage our Caribshopper B2B sales outreach, where we handle hundreds of wholesale leads across multiple states. The customization options are powerful — I built a complete pipeline with clear stages, tasks, and automation triggers in just a few hours. My team can log in, see exactly what to do next, and move leads forward confidently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

The integrations aren’t as straight forward as I thought they would be. I do love the dialers they have for instance but it’s difficult to customize them the way I would like. This is however understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined CRM with Excellent Value"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I appreciate Nutshell for its simplicity and functionality, which fits my needs perfectly as a CRM for my startup. The setup process was smooth and enjoyable, fulfilling my expectations under the eighty-twenty rule in terms of balance between development maturity and cost. I love how Nutshell provides great reminders and a singular source of truth, helping me organize and keep track of business operations without being overwhelmed. The revenue forecasting feature is also a fantastic tool, helping me plan and project future revenues effectively. I find it to be a good value considering the price compared to larger providers. The functionality to help communicate with people more efficiently and to plan out my business is highly beneficial. I also like how it meets essential needs without requiring additional CRM software, making my CRM process straightforward and integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

There are some silly issues with the differentiation between tasks and people, which needs improvement. Additionally, there could be more automations built in, to reduce the need to redo some work, which could enhance efficiency. These are not major automations but small improvements would be beneficial, especially when entering a new project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Sales Pipeline, Needs Better Automation"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I find Nutshell to be quite user-friendly, making it straightforward to manage various aspects of my sales work. I particularly appreciate how easily I picked it up during my initial training, which speaks to its intuitive design. The platform simplifies tracking my sales pipeline, which is crucial for managing my clients and prospects. The visual representation of the sales pipeline, whether as a chart or a list, is very beneficial as it clearly outlines each stage. It assists me in keeping track of where I am with different prospects, and I can swiftly follow up by accessing the last interaction I've had with them. This feature empowers me to maintain a seamless follow-up process with customers, ensuring continuity and efficiency. Overall, my experience with Nutshell has been positive and straightforward, making it a valuable tool in my daily sales tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

I wish Nutshell offered more automation capabilities. The current level of automation seems limited, which means there are repetitive tasks that still need to be manually handled. Additionally, there is a desire for more seamless integration, especially with tools like Podium and other lead capture sources. Right now, the marketing team has to manually convert and assign leads, which could be automated for better efficiency. Improved backend API integrations using AI would greatly enhance the convenience and efficiency of our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
