Updating customer information and item information is also straight forward and accessible. The integration with quickbooks in reliable and quick. We use it everyday in our company to process orders. Customer service is only online but are swift with answering questions. **What do you dislike about SOS Inventory?** The inventory tracking is tedious and confusing. We ended up having to stop using it for inventory tracking entirely. **What problems is SOS Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating Sales Orders and tracking material we bring in. ### 2. For a new BioPharma Startup, it took 1-2 employees only a matter of weeks to get the system up and running. SOS is a better option than SAP/Oracle when there is an immediate need for digital inventory management when it can't wait several months. **What do you dislike about SOS Inventory?** The breadth of integration(s) did not seem simple or smooth enough to justify putting the time in vs. looking at a larger SAP or Oracle tier system if the goal is a heavy focus on digital and cloud-based technology at your organization. **What problems is SOS Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using SOS as an interim inventory management solution while an SAP implementation is being discussed, designed, configured, and implemented. It has certainly helped out Materials/Warehouse team while waiting for a full ERP. ### 4. I mainly liked the fact that even when I was traveling I had an instant connection to stock levels in real time. **What do you dislike about SOS Inventory?** Unfortunately, we we're unable to calculate an actual cost for one of our main products with import duties and shipping attached to it upon receiving. **What problems is SOS Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** SOS Inventory helped us become more agile in our day to day business. I love how duplicate entries are eliminated, saving a lot of time and effort. Also, they have done a commendable job in creating awesome interfaces across desktop, mobile and tablet. **What do you dislike about SOS Inventory?** The only drawback I found is that the software takes a lot of time to implement customized changes. It can be integrated with lots of other software of websites. **What do you dislike about SOS Inventory?** There is no such thing that can be disliked in this software, but the only issue I faced while using it was when there were thousands of SKUs in the software and you tried to export the report; sometimes, the information was limited in numbers. **What problems is SOS Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is well integrated with other software like Shopify, Amazon FBA etc., and provides accurate stock on hand whenever needed. Cusotemr support is helpful but limited **What do you dislike about SOS Inventory?** Inconsistent sync with QBO, doesn't seem to be programmed correctly on the back end. We hav ehad a lot of problems with consistent value of inventory as well as total quantity of product **What problems is SOS Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** General Inventory tracking and PO generation. Works for us pretty well for PO generation, less well for invoicing, dn not that great with inventory tracking - mostly because of inconsitantcies with Quick Books online ### 9. There are some features I don't really need so we're not manufacturing business. I would like more options possibly for different businesses like retail. **What problems is SOS Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** The only benefit for my small business that I realized was the quickbooks sync option other than that its a bit expensive. ### 13. It is fairly straightforward and easy to use solution but definitely has a couple short comings. **What do you dislike about SOS Inventory?** SOS is supposed to value inventory at standard cost, but I don't find that to be the case. It also seems to value it with a FIFO methodology which creates variances between the SOS inventory valuation report and Quickbooks. Reporting is also sorely lacking. **Recommendations to others considering SOS Inventory:** Overall it is a great product to help manage processes Quickbooks Online doesn't do, but really needs more reporting functionality. **What problems is SOS Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** SOS helps us with inventory management and manufacturing.
