What do you like best about Infor Distribution SX.e?

Infor Distribution is great as a software in our Distribution Industry because of all the modules they offer. Purchasing, Accounting, Sales, Warehouse programs are all housed under one umbrella Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Infor Distribution SX.e?

The ability to not use and log information like it in a CRM. We also run into issues when running reports for all sales and purchasing data. This is something we could improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Infor Distribution SX.e?

The fact that it is all-inclusive, from sales orders, to purchase orders, shipping, receiving, inventory management, general ledger/accounting/financial reporting, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Infor Distribution SX.e?

This could be due to cost control limitations being placed by the powers that be on my end, and not the fault of the creators, but the fact that it does not seem to have a way to be able to upload spreadsheet templates or use another method of input in order to save tons of time and effort (and payroll dollars) for things such as vendor price changes continues to be a problem. We receive these thick .csv reports from most of our manufacturers at least 2 times a year. Having to hand key all of this new pricing and cost info for each and every part is a real-time suck, and it drags the productivity of the company way down with each one we are tasked with doing. Not to mention the human errors that happen when someone has to hand key this type of info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Infor Distribution SX.e?

SX.enterprise has been a stable and robust ERP that works well with TWL to give our company the best solution for every aspect of our manufacturing process. Currently we are on Windows, but hoping to move to Linux in the next installment. We look forward to seeing the improvements and changes that come with v.11, especially if we can get the web version as opposed to only the GUI version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Infor Distribution SX.e?

There are some issues and errors that appear from time to time that can only be resolved by our Infor partner. As an IT Director, I would wish for a smoother workflow with less modification required, but there are limitations that have to be expected as with any software. Recommendations to others considering Infor Distribution SX.e:

A really robust ERP, but you will need to spend a lot of time laying out the groundwork before implementing. Work closely with your channel partner and use them as THE resource on how to make changes and move forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Infor Distribution SX.e solving and how is that benefiting you?

All of our departments are impacted by work with SX.enterprise, so it brings everyone together on one platform. The simple transition between ERP and TWL solution means ordering, picking, packing and shipping is streamlined and hassle free. The largest benefit is and always has been that we have one pane of glass to look into our company to determine what is going on. From simple exports, we can get good working knowledge of what is going on to stay on top of order issues and inventory problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integration between certain aspects of the system sometimes feel like they were an afterthought and could have been implemented much better if a bit more thought was put in and feedback from the people that would be ultimately using it, a lot of the processes can be quite manual. "Extensibility framework and its capabilities."

What do you like best about Infor Distribution SX.e?

I have been working on the extensibility framework. It has great capabilities to customize and enhance the existing functionality as well as can add new functionality. We can have multiple extensions which we can turn on and off. We can also build mongoose apps which can use ION api's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
