Review Summary

I really appreciate the customer service support at Elite EXTRA. They are great and have been instrumental in helping turn our ideas into results within the software. I find the software capable of doing almost anything we need. I also value how easy it is to train someone new on the platform, which is important as we onboard new users. Additionally, being able to easily train dispatchers and drivers is crucial for us as we run multiple sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish they would take more feedback on customer requested features. That process moves quite slowly and I think there is more functionality that could be added at times that apply to our business and other businesses that use the software. We'd like some ability for custom reporting. We'd like the ability to flag specific customers/stops in Elite EXTRA for high priority customers or customers we've had issues with prior to flag the dispatcher that the stop needs special attention. We'd like a way for drivers to be able to leave notes about the delivery process for a stop that is viewable and editable by a future driver making the same stop, opening communication amongst the drivers to share their combined knowledge about specific customers. I like how Elite EXTRA allows us to manage deliveries and organize them into vehicle loads based on location and weight. I appreciate that the driver app is easy to use, making the process smoother. Just generally buggy across the board. Little things that have to be done twice to work. It's difficult to reliably capture these issues as completely random. A suggestion would be to show weights on the jobs when in a manifest so it doesn't have to be referenced at the bottom constantly. Another would be to change the dot colours of the jobs. I like the fact that I can just send it to a driver, and they can look at it on the app, on a tablet, and they can just go to work and deliver a load or pick up any loads that we have to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The versatility to move the loads around was a bit problematic. Like, if I have a load scheduled for tomorrow and it gets pushed, I have to unmanifest the load and then remanifest it. It'd be nice if I could just right-click and reschedule that load for another day. The initial setup was quite a work through. We had a few things to deal with getting it set up and had to go back and forth with the reps to get everything in place. There are issues sometimes when we utilize the Delivery Network that Elite Extra has partnered with. It's rare when we use that feature but the times we have, we've run into slight issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite aspect of Elite EXTRA is how easy it is to use. Even though I’m not the person in charge of building routes each day, I can still step in when needed to add stops or make route changes. Several times over the past month, I’ve taken customer calls saying we didn’t deliver what was expected, and we were able to cross-reference the invoice number with the delivery date and time, along with a photo of the products in the building and the name of the person who signed off on the delivery. I haven’t had any personal struggles or dislikes with Elite EXTRA. I did have a few questions at first, but I was able to attend a virtual training for Elite EXTRA, and that session answered everything I was wondering about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how Elite EXTRA communicates cross platform with our ERP system, Epicor Eclipse. It automates the stops into Elite and batches out orders in Eclipse once the delivery is complete, which saves a ton of time and helps eliminate missed orders when billing. It's also a huge time saver compared to how we used to build routes and bill orders manually. Additionally, it's a big help for those who don't dispatch and organize routes as often, especially on days when I'm out of the office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a mobile version of the website to dispatch routes when I'm not in the office and near a computer. The text and buttons could be slightly bigger, as everything is pretty small on my laptop with a smaller screen. Also, the text size should be increased and have a better layout on the printed manifest for the drivers. A couple of guys find it hard to read the small text at 5 am. Elite Extra provides our company the ability to dispatch and track our drivers in real time. The Delivery Network option on Elite Extra has allowed us to accommodate more customers without having to purchase additional vehicles. One drawback of elite extra is that the sometimes the orders in our business system do not populate in the site because the API has issues sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate that Elite EXTRA has a lot of features available. The returns process is nice, and it makes managing returns easier. I like the messaging feature for drivers because I can easily reach drivers. Elite EXTRA calculates the order weights and route times, which allows us to make accurate routes for over 10 vehicles, a task that can’t be done manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a bit buggy. For example, when orders are removed from routes, it doesn't reflect the first time. The route has to be saved and everything redone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite perk about Elite Extra would have to be the accuracy of the estimated time of delivery and return. It has been with in a couple minutes max that it is off. It definitely helps me organize my drivers so mush easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Least helpful thing I have noticed about Elite Extra so far is that it isn't very compatible with Saskatchewan and Daylight savings time. We don't change time and they said it is only something that can be fixed manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
