With the help of Apache OODT, it is easy to handle large volumes of data and datasets. We can also customize according to the user's specific needs and easily integrate within existing systems. The best thing is you can get this software at zero cost. **What do you dislike about Apache OODT?** It's new to me, so I face challenges in understanding its features to use it effectively. Also, we have to invest more in multi-core processors or clusters. We also have to invest in Apache TOMCAT to use it properly. **What problems is Apache OODT solving and how is that benefiting you?** It enables users to customize Apache OODT according to their needs. OODT makes data management easier compared to other databases in this category. This solves our problem of gathering data from different files and storing it in an organized format. ### 2. OOTD mainly focuses on two cases: first is information integration and big data as well. It provides multiple services. **What do you dislike about Apache OODT?** In my point of view there is nothing to mention about dislike about Apache OODT. **What problems is Apache OODT solving and how is that benefiting you?** ODTT provides multiple services supporting file location tracking, transferring them from one place to another. It also manages control flow and data flow for critical situations. It can automatically extract Metadata to identify file locations and related information. In short, it provides everything you need to catalog, archive, and manage files associated with their metadata. ### 5. It helps in managing a large amount of data. It is used to support capturing, processing and sharing of data for NASA scientists. It provides File Manager, Work Flow Manager and Resource Manager. **What do you dislike about Apache OODT?** It uses XML configuration, which can be a bit complex. It uses Java as a background language which is hard for the user who does not have Java knowledge. Setup the Apache OODT is a bit difficult. **What problems is Apache OODT solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have created workflows for the complex data in the Apache OODT and integrated it with the Big Data data processing and analysis. ### 8. Removes duplicate files. crawler detects if file was not ingested. Very scalable solution and distribuited. **What do you dislike about Apache OODT?** steep learning curve if you don't have a java background. XML for configuration, this could be not so good for a python developer **Recommendations to others considering Apache OODT:** If you are usign java you should consider using OODT.
