What do you like best?

The best part of Fourkites is that the data is visible and exportable in user friendly formats. Fourkites presents information in preset graphs and charts that show the most used statistics while also allowing the user to export their data in multiple file types to get any other information that they would like to see. This can also be setup as reports that the site will automatically email you at regular intervals. Having this information and the user friendly format allows me to present the information clearly and accurately to people within our organization who make decisions.

Fourkites integrates well with SAP, reducing the amount of manual work for both our employees and our carriers.

Last, but not least, the Fourkites company is super helpful anytime I need help with errors or just asking how to do something new. They also have a very nice Knowledge Base where I can often find the answers (and other options) for myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Fourkites data is only as good as the data that they receive from the carrier. This means that if the carrier isn't giving good information (or isn't giving information) then we aren't able to make the best decision. es una plataforma muy completa hasta el momento no he encontrado fallas o posibles mejoras, En ocasiones se solicita el correo con la programacion y ese correo automático de fourkites no llega y al solicitarlo nuevamente dice que ya se envio el correo y no se pueda reenviar la información.

What do you like best?

FourKites makes it easy to search loads, read tracking information & diagnose load issues. We use it on a daily basis and have many customers who require using it. It has become a staple in improving functions in our organization Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the overall load status screen can feel overwhelming because we manage a lot of freight, but I don't spend much time there. The site otherwise makes everything really easy to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Cutting back on check calls. Having live visibility on a truck can be very helpful in up to the minute updates without having to disturb drivers. Setting carrier up on the PartnerHub platform has also helped in this process by not needing to contact drivers. Allows for a seamless integration with their Tracking service or ELDs. What do you dislike?

How easily it is for driver's to make changes in the app, like marking loads delivered on accident and other things that cause the tracking to stop or be inconsistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

FourKites provides real-time tracking for the company's shipments. By using this platform, the company knows when to expect everything without having to waste time calling others to know the ETA. What do you dislike?

I didn't find anything I disliked about FourKites. The platform has rules about shipment delivery that kind of limits the flexibility of when to deliver depending on office hours if you want your shipment to be tracked succesfully but I think those rules are for the best interest of everyone. What do you like best?

Fourkites have covered the 360 degrees of my daily work routine, through its platform I have the full idea about the sipping of my important products I know when I am going to receive them thus it helps me to track the shipments and also keeps me up to data by providing the push notification about the recent activities. This tool has reduced the excessive manual work and manual tracking via phone calls but now Fourkites provides me clear information about the freight status with constant communication and updates. What do you dislike?

It is very difficult to get started, I must say that it is not so user friendly only professionals can handle this tool to their best also its configuration is not easy. Further while managing the routes this software usually gets slow which is very irritating and usually we have to repeat the process again from the beginning. What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Disconnect with some carriers often gets in the way. Once this is solved and tracking consistency is good, FourKites will be exponentially more beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some tracking inconsistency and infrequent pings, leading to incorrect ETA's. This is generally the carrier's fault, but it would be helpful if FourKites was able to ensure compliance.

What do you like best?

Being able to see where our drivers are at any time of the day. I also like seeing the FourKites estimated ETA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the export functions aren't user friendly. The information is great, but the way it's formatted in excel isn't fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're finding that the dates, and transit times, on our loads are not accurate. We're also finding locations that are cutting stops in our TMS, but not actually removing them from the loads. This causes us to provide inaccurate information to the customers. What do you like best?

It can connect with almost all GPS providers, so we can track almost all our carriers.

The implementation team and now the customer success teams are incredible valuable and supportive, we feel always accompanied while progressing in our journey.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the time to integrate a new carrier could take more time than expected. The support for Mexico / LATAM could improve by using native language staff to eliminate communication gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We don´t have or own fleet to move our products to customers, instead we use +100 carriers, some of them dedicated. When we needed to check the status of a single delivery, we had to go first to find the carrier who is moving the load, then communicate with carrier and sometimes carrier called driver before we get the real status of the load (even then, we could be told something innacurate). Through fourkites, we have been able to track, visualize and follow-up deliveries in no time, zero effort and accurate. Our response time for internal and external customers has incredible improved. Now we are exploring the opttion to share the access to our customers to give them the Amazon kind information directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Fourkites allows for tracking when carriers are not directly available via phone such as overnight or even through time differences around the country during lunch hours. As a tracker working overnight, it was not always possible to get updates as my position required me to do so for our client. With Fourkites, I'm able to track loads in next to real time, any time! What do you dislike?

There have been times that geofencing or other issues have happened where Fourkites provided arrival and departures for loads that did not deliver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As mentioned above, the ability to track loads without communicating directly with a person with the carrier is extremely helpful through conflicts in time differences or overnight. The ability to easily view loads that may be at risk more proactively is helpful as well. There have been times that carriers have provided an unrealistic update over the phone however with Fourkites I'm able to see where the load actually is and reschedule appointments as needed rather than after the carrier misses a delivery appointment at our customer. Four kites is helpful with the filters and search options that allow you to filter by carrier and a wide variety of other filters to narrow down loads to view exactly what you're seeking. What do you like best?

Insights and analytics, FourKites provides fantastic in-platform reporting. The reporting function will allow us to improve our detention tracking, carrier compliance reviews, sustainability, and much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The website has a somewhat confusing layout - it is very difficult for a new user to use without in-depth training. The first major benefit is allowing us to provide better, faster, and more accurate tracking data to our customers. Secondly we are beginning a large-scale detention project utilizing the detention dashboard that will allow us to cut detention costs down. What do you like best?

It´s amazing the amount of information we gather in our day-day operation, and how well Fourkites combine it and makes it available to their customers to track, not only the goods, but also the performance of all teams involved.

New carriers are being integrated with minimal effort and cero cost to them.

There are other regions and areas in our company that are evaluating the implementation of this tool to their processes.

the communication and interactions with our Customer Success Manager is great and she is allways available to help us in any way.

Ana has made our implementation very smooth and she can speak multiple languages which makes the communitacion great and easy with our Global team, our local team, Carriers and training with employees.

She also knows pretty much everything on the tool, but knows well when and who to ask looking at the issue in a more holistical way

During this pandemic (COVID-19) we continued with the communication as usual and showed flexible on the times, since the operation never stop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

some functionalities are being deployed in other countries before us, but I know we will eventually get them.

Even when having a good tracking, there are some oportunities when it comes to have a good guide on how to troubleshoot from the carrier perspective.

have a clean master data and make your carriers and team o be commited to the project. Fourkites made it very easy deffining a specific team to different aspects of implementation, and with a weekly meeting we had the chance to tackle the issues promplty.

What do you like best?

While FourKites has a best of breed product that all shippers could benefit, the implementation journey and continuing support model is world class! What do you like best?

It's a very user-friendly website, easy to understand and navigate. Due to I'm very curious I learned all by myself and it wasn't very difficult. Not being able to customize web design (colors, fonts, etc).

I was used to asking my supplier where the trucks are vía Whatsapp because I was not able to see it by myself so there was no assertiveness with the arriving hours to distribution centers or client warehouses all over the country. Now, I've got real-time tracking access and Fourkites has made my work so much easier and fun.

What do you like best?

I don't use the platform daily like some team members so rather than the tech itself, I'll call out the wonderful employees at FourKites. We have had two Customer Success Managers and both have been a delight to work with. They are attentive to our needs, quick to answer emails and truly seem to care about us as a client. What do you like best?

The tracking system, how the updates are shown, the ETAs, the different status that we have during transit, the last updates history, the multiple options that have for tracking a load . Go all in when you start, don't make it a "side project" Have IT resources dedicated and transportation teams pushing hard to get carrier compliance. you will only get out of the platform what you put in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
